May 31, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Today was a shopping Marathon.  We started out early about nine.  I picked up my records from the breast center then Hobby Lobby, Harbor Freight, Office Max, the wood store, chino Valley Safeway, Sir Speedy, Costco, and finally Walmart. We almost went to lunch with Fords as they were doing errands as well but we had food to put away and I was pooped.  At home we put away the groceries.  I finished winding bobbins.  Stitched.  Two runs to dog park.  Dinner was a rotisserie chicken.  Colleen brought us bread. Finally it was time for TV, cuddles and stitching.  Today was last day of the month.  Almost half a year gone.

May 30, 2022 Irchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Today was Memorial Day. It was a lazy day.  We got up early me about 7:30.  Chores.  Hung out in the sewing room office.  Went to the dog park.  Came home dropped off the dogs and headed to the round house for the hamburger hot dog luncheon.  Ralph and Wendy  sang and played guitar.  That lasted til 1.  More stitching and  lounging.  Another cart ride to the dogs park.  BBQ pork steak for dinner.  Very quiet day.  Actually kind of blah.  I was even a little bored.   Colleen who is secretly very controlling was a bit standoffish.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

May 29, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Another fun day at the farm.  Steve let me sleep in late. He worked outside.  I worked in the sewing room. Finished Annibelle's quilt and sham. Got some stitching done.  Lunch was left over pizza.  Couple trips to the dog park. 3 loads of laundry. Remade the bed. Met the Fords coming over.  They visited for awhile.   Dinner was pot pies since Steve didn't want to BBQ.   Finally TV cuddles and stitching.  

May 28, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Another nice day . Steve worked outside with his tools and I worked in the sewing room. I accomplished a lot.  Worked on sew she did .I finished Annibelle's quilt. Wound some bobbins and even did some stitching.   Went to card Bingo with Colleen. Couple of trips to the dog park.  Came home and watched TV for an hour then a shower before we headed to bed.   

May 27, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up about 6:30. Breakfast and chores.  I worked in the sewing room Steve on the patio on his new passion Intarga.   We took a cart ride Steve had a million errands to run before we stopped at the Fords.  Drives me nuts. Another run in with Breast Center a their  incompetency Finally after playing with wood some more we went shopping.  We will be staying in the park the rest of the weekend.  Hobby Lobby Lowes finally ace hardware.  Dinner cleanup then the usual TV cuddles and stitching.   

  

May 26, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Fun day .  We were up and out early to pickup Colleen and Mike at Little dealer then take them to the car rental place.  The out to breakfast.  They followed us to Backburner.  Then we ran home grabbed the dogs and ran to Safeway.  Came home and unloaded. Then I went to Colleens to learn how to mount my cross stitch.  She came home with me and shopped in my closet for fabric.  Then I checked my floss order. They missed a few but I am still short a few.  Cart ride to the dog park.  Stitching.   We BBQ'ed chicken thighs for dinner.  Finally it was time for TV, cuddles and stitching. 

May 25, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up at 7:30. Leisurely breakfast, chores, dust mopped the floor.  Took a cart ride. Worked in the sewing room.  Actually sewed the binding on Annibelle's quilt.left over pizza for lunch.  Sat out on the porch and stitched.  Then came in to stitch.  Another cart ride. Hazel continues to pee everywhere.   Very frustrating.  More left overs for dinner.  Then time for TV cuddles and stitching.   

May 24, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up extra early so we could help the Fords haul the rock to their front garden that took about an hour and a half.  Then we came home and Steve painted his bird. I worked in the sewing room.  We went to Prescott to check out a map store that doesn't exist.  Then we went to Goldwater Lake.  We decided to pick up a Papa Murphy's pizza.   Then home to stitch.   Hazel is going potty like crazy  due to drinking alot more water. The guy that wanted Steve's jacket came and got it.  We ate pizza.  Fords called at the last minute to go out for dinner. We said no.  They didn't want pizza.   We ate early and then it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.  My phone had a small hiccup but the things finally got right.  

May 23, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 A quiet day at home. I got up about 7:30.  We planned our trip in August and September.  We did our chores. I made piek burgers. Spent time in the quilt room. Went to dog park. I finally heard from the best center.  No need to go back.  I stitched. Made banana bread. Made egg roll in a pot.  Did some stitching.   Another trip to dog park.  TV stitching and cuddles.   All of a sudden Hazel  is not potty trained.

May 22, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up early.  Instead of a quiet Sunday at home we had a scrambled egg breakfast.  The off to the grocery store.  Then home to unload. The girls got a bath. About 1:30 it was sewing room time.  Some stitching.  Trip to dog park.  Visited with the Fords.   Home to dinner. Hamburger Salisbury steak.  Major cleanup.  Finally time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

May 21, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up . Breakfast and chores.  Steve went on a motorcycle ride. Colleen and I went to Hobby Lobby.  Came back for lunch.  Stitched till 3. Went to Colleen's to help with planting plants.  Dinner.  Then played card Bingo with Ralph and Wendy.  Then time for TV and cuddles. 

May 20, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up fairly early. I made breakfast of bacon and eggs for Steve. Then we went on another shopping expedition.   Steve wanted to go to verizon.  Then Best Buy which was not open . Then Harbor Freight.  Back to best buy to get Steve set up for music outside.  Then Ace Hardware.  Back home for lunch and and a fight.  Worked in the sewing room.  Stitched later. Couple of trips to the dog Park.  Dinner was BBQ'ed pork steak.  I feel bad as I said something pretty harsh to Steve.  But most of the time I feel like he could careless whether I lived or died.  That's what I told him.  He has no empathy for other people it seems or at least those close to him.  Not sure what to do as we can't have meaningful conversations.   Finally after dinner it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

May 19, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Mostly fun day. Got up about 8.  Steve had done all the dog chores. He left for carving. I had breakfast and did my chores.  Then I got to stitch.  He got home about 11:15. Then we went to the Dewey post office. We went to Affinity to make an appointment for the recall.  Then we had a difference of opinion on the smaller rig we are not going to buy.  Of course he wants a toy hauler and I don't.   So no speaking from 12:30 to 2 pm when the Fords came to play Mexican train.  Mike even studied it on u tube.  He had a call from his dr. We took the dogs out but they didn't do anything.   Then we played till 5. We we took the dogs to the dog park. Then a wonderful meal at Lefty's.   Finally we all settled in for TV and cuddles.   More stitching for me. 

May 18, 2022 Irchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We were up early to  take Hazel to the vet.  She has blupperitis.   Stopped at Stepping stones  then home.  We worked in the office/sewing room for awhile . People came and took the kayak.  Yeah.  Becky graduates.   We watched on utube.  BBQ'ED hamburgers for dinner.   Put lights in the sewing room.  Stitched quite a bit. Ripped it out as I made a mistake and buttons were not lined up.  TV and cuddles rest of night.

May 17, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up early again to meet the Teryx buyer and sign some paper or other.  We were there at 9:30 and they arrived shortly thereafter.  Then while we waited for big 5 ymto open I hit JoAnn's.   Then shoes at Big 5.  Then we hit a wood place for Steve.  Then Lowes.  Back home for lunch. Then the dog park.  Wanted to stop at Fords but Steve flaunted usual excuse of not wanting to wake them.  That pissed me off .  It was a very quiet afternoon.   I worked in the quikt room.  Steve slept.  I stitched and took the dogs to the dog park.  Then Colleen came over and we sat on the porch for an hour. Steve was afraid he would not get fed so he started cooking his dinner.  I took over.  Then cleanup.  Finally it was time for TV stitching and cuddles. 

May 16, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We gave the teryx a new home.  We got up and had breakfast.  Chores and out the door by 8:45.  We loaded up the Teryx and met the guy at Bank of America.  I chatted with Trish while Steve and Chance wental run to the dog park.  H into the bank to transact business.  Then over to the ups store to notarize the title transfer.  Then Steve took me to Walmart where I spent some serious money.  Then dropped off records at the breast care center. Finally the Dewey post office.  Then home to unload and lunch.  Finally the dog park.  Back home to spend some time in the sweing room.  A little stitching.    I did the final run to the front dp.  Dinner was BBQ'ed steak.  We sat on the porch for awhile then clean up.  I binged on cookies. Bad me.  Finally it was time for TV  stitching and cuddles.   

May 15, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home , Dewey AZ

 We sold the Teryx.  We got up and had breakfast and chores.  Steve and I both got up about 7: 30.  We got a call that the freezer was going to be delivered.  I did some more printing and bobbin winding.  We spent $75 on ink and I already got the low on ink message.  The we got an invite from the Fords to check out a new Mexican  restaurant.   Once the freezer was delivered we headed out.  Then home to stitch.  We headed out to the dog park and saw Art and Vi driving down our road. They stopped to visit while I ran to the dog park.  We decided to skip dinner.  I started to watch TV.   We took a break to check out the lunar eclipse.  More TV and stitching and cuddles.  

May 14, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Steve let me sleep in till almost 8.  Breakfast and chores.  Steve and I took a short walk. Then I printed.   Took Colleen her patterns.  I guess she and I will never be best friends.  Came home and got some stitching done.   Dinner was a quickie.  Frozen burritos.   We ended up going to card Bingo.   We shared a table with Wendy and Ralph .  We enjoyed their company.   Steve won the big final bingo. $27.00!  TV and cuddles ended the evening.  All routines were scuddled.   

May 13, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Firiday thec13th turned out to be a great day.  I got up at 7:30.  We cancelled the vet appointment.  Hopefully things have resolved and Sophie will stop licking her eye.  I made bacon and eggs for breakfast.   Then we started our shopping expedition.  We started at ace hardware. The Hobby Lobby.  Costco.  While I was in Costco Steve bought A freezer.   Just in the nick of time.  Then best buy for printer ink.  Finally Safeway for groceries.   We paid our bill at nextcare.  Came home and put the groceries away.  Teryx ride.  Then I piddled around with the floss I bought.  Another Teryx ride.  We stole a push pin from the bulletin board for the neighbor.  I went to visit the neighbore. Sat on the porch for awhile.  The neighbors came to visit and Bobby their dog played with the girls.  Colleen and Mike drove by while they were there.  Dinner was a stuffed Chicked breast.  Cleanup.  Then it was time for TV stitching and cuddles. 

May 12, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Steve was up and about early so he got all his chores done before carving.  I decided to make cookies but realized I was missing baking soda.  So I walked over to Colleen's and she had some. I came back and Steve picked me up right in front of the house.  When we came back I made the cookies. The kitchenaid was not working. It had one speed high.  I had flour everywhere.   I baked the cookies and cleaned up the mess.  Then I made up two plates of cookies  one for Christine and one for Colleen.  We delivered them.  Steve was getting organized for the prospective Teryx buyer who never showed.  I stitched the rest of the day.  Dinner was leftover ribs.  Cleanup  and it was time for stitching and cuddles.  We actually sat on the porch for awhile after dinner.

May 11, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Another quiet day at home. Went over after chores to storage to look for the nano.  Steve dropped me out to walk. Got home about 11 and Mike and Judy came over to See Steve's carving and my quilts. If course we had to listen as they shared their hobbies or wood working and card making.  They finally went home at 1:30.  Wow.  I made a meatloaf for dinner. Got to do a little stitching.   Dinner made Steve happy.  Meatloaf and mashed potatoes and gravy.  Clean up. Finally I got to retire to the bedroom for stitching and cuddles.

May 10, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Another quiet day at home.  Steve went to the gym and I took my walk.  Getting so I look forward to the walks.  Did our chores. Enjoyed coffee and breakfast.   Some stitching.  Then shortly after 12 we left to get our toes done.  We actually left the puppies at home.  Right back home after the pedicure. Did our afternoon cart ride to the dog park.  More stitching. Dinner  was pork ribs. Cleanup.  Then it was time to relax and enjoy TV  stitch and cuddle.

May 9, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 A quiet day at home.  I finished my shredding project. Finished Dan's quilt.  Tried to print some patterns but daddy warbucks would not let me get the printing ink I needed.  Made an appointment  to get Hazel's eye looked at. I stitched quite a bit.  I made Chinese chicken salad for dinner.  Steve went to the Gym and I took a walk.  Cleanup after dinner.  Then it was TV stitching and cuddles.

May 8, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 It was a nice Mother's Day.  Heard from 3/5 of the kids two were at a retreat.  Got up before 7. Breakfast of pancakes. Steve had a nice card for me.  Did three loads of laundry.  Did my shredding.  One more day and it will be done.  Finished Dan's sham.  Turned out ok.  Not happy with the binding but he will not have a problem with it.  Took a Teryx ride up to the North side to look at Christine parent's house.  Then we tried to go to the Peddlers market but it was all but closed down.  Fry's and put groceries away.  Then Colleen came over.  Then dog park and I went over to visit with Colleen.  Came home and started stitching.   We BBQ'ed a pork steak  for dinner.  Cleanup. It was finally time for TV stitching and cuddles.  Repeat  tomorrow.

May 7, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Steve let me sleep till almost 8.  He went to the gym as soon as I got up. He had already taken care of the dogs. Then he came in to change clothes and went to help the Fords pull out the shrubs in the front of their yard.  Then he came back and I went for a short walk. Then I worked in the sewing room making the sham for Dan's quilt.  One more step and I will be finished.  Then lunch, more sewing, and then stitching. A couple trips to the dog park.  We checked out the Fords garden. Or lack thereof.  Then dinner of left over pork loin.  Cleanup and it was time for TV, stitching and cuddles. 

May 6, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 I got up at 7. Breakfast and chores. Steve took a motorcycle ride to scope out fishing spots.  Ever the great sportsman.  I got the binding on the quilt. Definitely not perfect.  When steve got back we went to the dog park and out the job Fords were doing on their place.   Came back and finished the quilt.  Definitely not happy with the outcome.  But it was my first attempt at using the machine on the binding.  Then stitching. Steve worked in the shed.  Dog park,  dinner and cleanup.  Then stitching and cuddling.  

May 5, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Happy cinco de Mayo.  Steve went to carving . I relaxed and had breakfast. Steve came in at  10:30 took the dogs to the dog park. Then grabbed our stuff and off to the potluck at the round house.  It was nice but not my favorite foods. We helped clean up.  Then back home to chill out.  We were not hungry for dinner.steve did a little carving.  I stitched and sewed the label on Dan's quilt.   Tomorrow  I will hopefully finish it.  Stitched the night away.  Finished the day with stitching and cuddles and TV. 

May 4, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up at the crack of dawn so Steve could go fishing at Dead Horse State Park. We got there about 8:30 and  by 10:30 he had his limit. We came home. It was a silent trip as Steve got pissed off again since I wouldn't spoon feed him some nuts.  We stopped at Safeway.  Then home.  Unloaded the truck. I got our tamale pie started. Stitched for a couple of hours. Colleen and Mike came for dinner and brought bread. Sat on the porch and chatted for awhile.  Finished the cleanup. Time for TV and stitching. 

May 3, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Bizarro Steve has surfaced.  Started being crabby first thing this morning.   We got up and started moving.  We checked out Outlaw donuts.  Won't go there again for donuts.  Then Costco and Walmart.  Back home for lunch. Then the dog park and stopped by Colleen's to pick up my very expensive needle minders.  Steve was going to wait un the cart.  Didn't want to stay and visit.  I put up and took down the dog pens. Decided not to sell them.  Not in great shape.  Couln't get a huge amount of money for them.  Then I finally sat down and got to sew as we are going fishing tomorrow.   Then dog park again.  We finally got to sit and visit with the Fords.   Despite Steve noy wanting to.  Came home and did my chores and started dinner.  I made comfort food for Steve . Loin roast, mashed potatoes and gravy vegies.  Nirvana for Steve.  Cleanup and  time for stitching and cuddles. 

May 2, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up at 7. Breakfast and chores.  Steve went to Storage to do a couple of chores. I washed the shower door and slider door. Then a quick vaccuum. Worked on floss.  Then I actually cut the binding for Dan's quilt.  Then trip to dog park. Lunch entailed boiling eggs for plain tuna sandwich.   Then stitching.  A quick trip to deliver the rent check.  More stitching.  Dog park.  We BBQ'ed trout for dinner.  Thank you Valdez's.   Cleanup and it was time stitching and cuddles. 

May 1, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 It was a great day.  Got up about 8 had breakfast started the laundry. We made a Costco run.  Came back and unloaded. Stevevordered some things from Cabellas though I had to call and order them.  I got to work in the quilt room. Actually got the buttons sewed on on Sew she did! Anxious to mount the thing.  We took a couple trips to the dog park the a quick visit to the Fords to meet their son Josh.  Very nice man.  Home for dinner of leftover spaghetti.   Cleanup and TV time.  Stitching and cuddles.
