March 31, 2021 Escapees North Ranch, Congress AZ.

 We got up late and I decided not to walk.  I actually started on some applique work.  Mike and Colleen Ford got here about 11:30.  We talked for a while then jumped in the car to go to lunch.  We had a wonderful lunch at the Sizzling Wok in Wickenburg. It was very good.  Then back to the rig at 2.  We sat in the shade and chatted for awhile.  They left about 4 .  I got a short walk in then a light dinner.  We sat out for awhile.  Then it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

March 30, 2021 Escapees North Ranch, Congress AZ

 We were up early to walk.  Steve must have over done it as he was complaining about his chest hurting.  We recouped.  Then Steve carved and I sewed.  I walked over to Cathy Bross' house with Cathy Benton.  We had a nice visit.   Then home to finish my book.  We had a quick dinner.  I got all my chores done including dishes and tooth brushing.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs  

March 29, 2021 Escapees North Ranch, Congress AZ

 We got up at a reasonable time had breakfast and got busy on our walk.  Need to go out earlier as it is definitely warming up.   We quit early but after we cooled down I got some sewing done.  Then we went shopping in Wickenburg.  When we came back someone was having a hard time backing in our spot so Steve backed his rig in for him.  We BBQ'ed chicken for dinner.   Then we sat outside til 8:30 chatting with our neighbors in the back.  They just bought a house in Wickenburg Ranch.  They seem to have quite a bit of money.   They summer on their 100+ acres in Canyon City Co.  She toured with Bob Hope USO group in the 70's.  Don and Bobby.  We will look out for Mustang Sally when we come back to North Ranch in the fall.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

March 28, 2021 Escapees North Ranch, Congress AZ

 Well Betty and Larry bought a park model at Fiesta Grande.  Don't quite understand their thinking but they must have a reason.  But she has a quilting area.  

We got up leisurely and I got the laundry done.  I was the only one there.  Guess Sunday morning is a good time to do it.  I was done by 12:30.  Miss having Sandy there.  Then home for lunch and sewing.  Took the dogs for a short walk.  We had fajitas left overs for dinner.  Steve figured a good way to make them good.  We added eggs and cheese. It tasted great.  It was a busy day.  Did dishes and out away clothes.   I count on the laundry for storage.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

March 27, 2021 Escapees North North Ranch, Congress AZ

 We left Dewey Humbolt about 10.  Which is pretty good for Steve.  We traveled down 69 to 17 to 74 to 60 to 93 to 89.  About 120 miles  and arrived about noon.  We got set up.  I took a walk about 1.85 miles.  Then I set up my sewing things.  We had left overs for dinner.  Did dishes and finished setting up the house.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

March 26, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 Another fun day with the Fords.  We got up late and did our shopping at Costco and Walmart.  Steve got his laminator and laminated  everything in sight.  We chilled till about 3 when Colleen came and got me and we went to 2 Quilt stores.  I spent way over my allowance but I won't be going anywhere else for awhile.   It was fun.  Even Collen got some fabric.  It hailed while we were quilt shop hopping.  Then home .  They picked up at 5:30 and we went to Cafe Perez for Mexican Food with their friends Alan and Christine.   We rushed home to do our zoom meeting with some of the kids.  Finally after cleaning up the kitchen  it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

March 25, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 We had a fun day with the Fords. Cold day.  I got up late despite Steve's effort to wake me up.  We hung out around the house till 11 when the Fords came to pick us up.  I did get a short walk in.  We headed for the Prescott Brewery and chicken pot pie.  Then we explored some of the shops near the restaurant.   We found some ice cream.  Then checked out some nearby RV parks.  Finally home about three.  We chilled the rest of the afternoon.   Snacked for dinner.  I cleaned up the kitchen.   Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

March 24, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 Wow we finally after 4 months left Casa Grande.   It was time even tho we will miss all the people as we each go our separate ways.  I got up and walked at the usual time with Larry  and Betty.  Then the hook up ritual began.  We said our good byes and did our hugs.  Suzanne painted me a packers rock.  We left at 11:15.  We made it to Prescott Valley about 1:30. We drove 136 miles.   We got set up Colleen and Mike came over to see us.  We kicked back for awhile then walked up to the dog park.  I made the dessert.   At 5:30 we went over to their house for dinner.  She had stew which was okay  but somewhat peppery.   We were back at the rig by 7:30.  Then it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

It is very relaxing to be away from the group.  Sleeping in tomorrow. 

March 23, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Our last night in Casa Grande.  I got up early and walked with Betty and Larry.   I thought it would be my last time but Steve said I can walk once more tomorrow.  I hope I can keep up the walking once we leave here.    Once I got back we put the motorcycle in the back and loaded up the Teryx and covered it up and took it over to the storage area.  Then we had lunch and hunkered down as the weather was threatening all day.  I visited with Betty and Larry.  Sometimes that woman can can be a stuck up bitch.  They are delaying their walk to accommodate me.  Anyway we took off at 4:15 for McMashers. We had a nice dinner for our last Taco Tuesday.   I finally  finished the 7th book in the Cork O'Conner series and  am anxious to start another quilting mystery book.   We are anxious to start our trip but still it is sad to see all our friends.   

March 22, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Well happy 69th birthday to me.  Hope this year is as good as last year.   We got up super early.  We left the house at 6 to have breakfast at the big house.  It was ok.  Then we took Steve to his doctor appointment.   We sat in the parking lot. For an hour.   Then  we came home shortly after 8:30. Betty and Larry were just returning from their walk.  I took care of some last minute choses.  We then went to Creative Cafe for my Birthday lunch.  I got a Birthday brownie.   I am sad about leaving.   I gmtook a short snooze.  Betty and I took the dogs to the dog park. Then we hung out til it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   Early to bed tonight.  We got a scud missile from the IRS.  Can't wait for that.  

March 21, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Well we have two days left. It is very sad. I will miss everyone very much.  We got up early and walked.  Steve even walked part way.  We cooled down then the four girls decided to make tracks for JoAnn's.   Steve went to wash the truck and ostensibly to get milk at Safeway.  While he was there he picked up some candy.  Then I did some cutting and ate lunch til it was time to play games. We had a fun time.  All the guys dropped by at one time or another.  We quit about 3:40.  Then a long Teryx ride with a stop at the dog park.  Dinner then dishes.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

March 20, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 We got up early and wa out the door walking by 8:30. Larry felt compelled to walk around the block with us.  The dogs pooped and peed the first two streets.   We got back and before we could even rest Steve was in a rush to get to work.  Poir overworked Steve.  Then I did a few chores.  I went over to Betty's to cut down while.  Then home for lunch.  A Teryx ride.   Washed the back and porch fencing as Steve called it.  More cutting at Betty's. Another Teryx ride.  Sat out happy houring With the Littles who just arrived. Then dinner and chores.  Finally it was time  for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

March 19, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ.

 Since it was so nice out and Betty and Larry were at breakfast and the grocery store I went walking by my self.  2 miles.  Larry came home to go to the bathroom.  Then I changed clothes and Betty and I went to get haircuts.  The Steve and I are lunch.  I cut squares at her place.  Sandy came to visit.   Then at 4:15 suzanne drove  Betty Sandy Steve and I to  Lucky's for chinese dinner.   Alan and Larry went to McMashers. Then I sat out with them.  Finally  it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   Very hot tonight.

March 18, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Well our time here draws to a close.  We will be here less than a week.  Got up early and got ready to walk.  We did our cool down.  Then I ran home made the bed and changed clothes.  Off to Betty's while Steve was at carving.   I did some cutting while Betty sewed. Home for lunch then over to Heebner's for cards.  Always fun.  We drove to the dog park then sat out with the neighbors for awhile.  Argued over cooking dinner.  So stupid.  Anyway dishes then TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

March 17, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Happy St. Pat's day.   Nice weather.  We were up early to go get our toes done.  Steve and his harem.   Then a quick stop at Fry's.   After we got home we cleaned out the pantry.   And vaccuumed.   Then over to Sandy's for some fun and laughter.   A Teryx ride.  Dinner. Finished a book.  Dishes and finally time to watch TV with the dogs and  get some cuddles.

Betty did not join us this afternoon as she went to her favorite haunt.  McMashers so Larry could get some green beer. Hope she wasn't avoiding Karen Andew.

March 16, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 It was a quiet day. I am back to normal.   I went back to sleep as I thought I could use the rest time.  We has a leisurely breakfast  and a nice morning.   I decided to take a shower.  Sandy came to visit.  I visited Betty.  I spent most of the day setting up my new Versa 3.  Reading and crosswords.  Good news on Sandy's front no problems no surgery required.  We went to Boston's for our Tuesday night dinner.  Fun fun.  Back home in time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

March 15, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 I woke up about 1:30 and I hurt all over.  Like I  had the flu.  Woke up with a bad headache. Apparently I had a reaction to the shots.  We went to Bosa donuts and shared them with The Clark's.  Then I got the laundry separated.  The off to the Vet.  Steve was being his awful self.  He knew going in it was going to be expensive.   We waited a half an hour.  Then they came out and got the dogs.  Apparently Sophie used Hazel as a support dog.  She needs behavioral specialist.  They kept her for an hour or so while we ran errands.  Back to pick up the dogs. Then came in . At noon over to Sandy's for five crowns. Then down to the laundry with 9 loads of clothes.  6 for me and 3 for Sandy.  We were the only peoples in the laundry. Home with all the clothes.  Steve did dishes.  Put away clothes.  Watched TV with the dogs and  cuddled.   

March 14, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 We got our second shots today.  We were up early today but was confused as daylight savings started for everyone else but us.  We left here at nine with Betty in the back.  We had a wonderful breakfast at Biscuits on Elliot Road.  Then off to the arena for our shots.  Then Walmart and finally Costco.   We were home by three .  I decided to deFrost the refrigerator which it desperately needed.  Did not finish until 6.  Then left over pulled pork for dinner.  Then Sandy insisted on bringing over some ice for my sore shot arm.  She took all of Steve's peppermint bark by mistake.   Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

March 13, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

Well things are winding down here.  Steve woke up in a snit this morning.   He must have woken up at 5:00 or half past.  He tried to be quiet but he didn't last past 6. I was cold so I went back to bed for half an hour.  Then we did our walk without the dogs due to high trafficevin the park from the yard sales.   Steve aet up his table and I walked.   

Then I came home and finished my block number three.  So did Betty.  Lunch.  Betty came over to spray the snowman blocks.  Then we took a Teryx ride and chilled til dinner.  The weather was iffy all day.  We had left overs for dinner.  I was able to finish a book.  Dishes and it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

March 12, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Good news the doctor's office called to let me know that the new labs they ran came back normal.  Whew I feel better now.  It was nice they called so I didn't have to stew over the weekend.

We got at our early time but it was almost 10 before the rain allowed us to walk.  Sophie came with me and Steve and Hazel stayed home.  Back at eleven just in time to get ready to go to games.  Steve went to Norris to get the lens cover for the trailer.   We played games till  three.  Sandy's  grandson was in a car accident.   I went home and started on my block.  Then we went to Churches Chicken for dinner.  I sewed for awhile after dinner then it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

March 11, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Well Steve blew a gasket.   He couldn't find his checkbook which is usually in the top drawer of our living room lamp table.  The other day I remember the drawer was hard to close.  So I finally got Steve to take out the bottom drawer and guess what there it was.  I realize he was frantic but that was way out of line.  

We got up early and did our work.  We cooled down.  Then Steve and I went to the doctor where he changed my Thyroid meds and had my white blood cells rechecked.  Then lunch at Firehouse subs. We picked up new meds.  Then over to work at Betty's where I got chastised for leaving the iron in an unsuitable condition.   A long Teryx ride with the dogs where we checked out all the trikes in the park.  Back to work at Betty's. Dinner, dishes and TV and with cuddles and with the dogs. 

March 10, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 We had a great girls day in the valley.  We left here at 9 and headed to 35th street.  We were there about an hour and a half. Then over to Ray Road to have lunch at a Grill.  While there the Dr office called to schedule an appointment to review my labs.  Scares the poop out of me.  I Guess my Thyroid is out of whack.  Will find out more tomorrow.   Hope this doesn't change our travel plans.  Came home to stew about that and gave myself a headache.  We finally ate the last of the fish.  Cleaned up the kitchen and finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

March 9, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 We headed out on our walk at 8:30.  As we approached the front the rain increased so the we were forced to take cover under carports as we made our way home.  No cool down.  I chilled and did a few chores then over to Betty's where we worked on Snowmen.  Steve drove to the Chandler Harley Davidson to have a tire put on the motorcycle and drool over the trikes. He got an an appraisal on what they would give his bike.  Unfortunately  it was not enough.  About 2:30 I drove the dogs to the dog park.  Steve got home about 3.  We left for dinner at Dell's pizza.   I don't think it was as good as Burros.  Came home and it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

March 8, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 We were off to the dr's before 8 for our labs and Steve's echocardiogram.   We had a decent breakfast at Cracker Barrel.   Finally CVS for our prescriptions.  Back to the rig where we hung out waiting for time to go to games on Suzanne's patio. Everyone came to visit.  Karen Steve Larry and Alan all out in an appearance.   Went home and took a Teryx ride.  Visited with Betty and Larry.   Then home for leftovers. Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

March 7, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Nice day today.  I fell asleep last nite even before Steve finished watching TV.   I woke up at 7 and went back to bed til almost 8:30.  Fixed Steve  breakfast.  Then did a few chores.  Steve took the motorcycle and ran some errands.  I went to JoAnn's and Walmart with Betty.  Came home and relaxed then reorganized my closet.   I purged my clothes.   I made a tamale pie and Sandy and Alan shared dinner with us.  I did dishes and then it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

March 6, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Fun day.  Betty and I walked as Larry was having a slight reaction to his shot.   Steve was saving himself for later when Betty isn't available.  I came back to change clothes.  Steve was having IRS PMS.  Betty and I sewed most of the rest of the day.  I came home about 4.  Took a Teryx ride.  Then we BBQ'ed hot dogs.   I finally finished my new Jance book. Then after dinner we sat out with Betty  and Larry til 7:30.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

March 5, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

We got up early and did our walk.  Then we hung out until it was time for our new doctor appointment.   We really liked Dustin who looks like a bad ass biker.   I thought he was going to just write me scripts for us but no he wants to do bloodwork and ekgs and a echocardiogram for steven. We got all kinds of new meds and medical supplies. We were there for two hours.  The we got propane and we won the way home

We got anugly notice in the mail that we owe Social Security 4500.00.  Ugh. I see work camping in our future. 

  We decided to grab dinner with Sandy and Alan.  We tried chili's but the wait was so long.  Then we went to Boston's and waited 30 minutes for a table and another 45 for mediocre food.  We got home at 8.  I forgot it was a Friday night.  Then it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

March 4, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

Pretty nice day.  Steve went on a motorcycle  ride.   Betty had an early morning appointment so we slept in late.  After Steve left I did a few chores.  Then over to Betty's to sew.  We had a great time. Betty took me and the dogs on a Teryx ride.  Back to sewing.   Steve came home in a mood.  Betty and I went on another Teryx ride while Steve slept.  We BBQ'ed chicken thighs for dinner.  Dishes then it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

March 3, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 David's 39th birthday.   Wow.  Anyway we walked even tho I didn't feel like it. We cooled down quite awhile.   Then home for a few for some basic housekeeping.   We were going to check out the Asian foods truck but they were leaving after being here for only an hour.  We played 5 crowns at Sandy's.   Then home in a wind storm.  25 mph.  Went shopping at Safeway.   Dinner and dishes.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

March 2, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Not much exciting today.  Walking in the morning.   Came home changed clothes.  Spent the next three hours in the laundromat with Sandy.  Steve went to carve at Vern's.  I picked him up at 3:30.  While he was carving I put the clothes away and made the bed.  Then we were off to supper club at L'Grande .  Once was enough. Good place to get ice cream.  Home for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   Finished Elijah's quilt.  

March 1, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 A new month.  We got up for our 9 am walk.  Then cool down.  A quick change of clothes and we were off to the Fords.   We stopped at the hardware store on Main street.   Very disappointing.   Then over to the River Bottom Grill for a long lunch.  Wonderful meal but very slow service.  Back home by 2.  I played cards with the girls for an hour.  We did a Teryx ride with all the dogs.  We snacked for dinner.  Then it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs
