Saturday April 11, 2026, New Orleans RV Resort and Marina, New Orleans LA

 We got up about. Breakfast chores and crosswords.  Got to spin for about an hour.  Then we practiced how we are going to bring the trailer out Wednesday morning.  Steve doesn't believe the road signs are correct.  Got gas. Came home and watched TV and of course stitched. Then we walked up to the restaurant and had a lovely meal at the Park's restaurant.  Walked back then more TV and stitching. 

Friday April 10, 2026, New Orleans RV Resort and Marina, New Orleans LA

 We got up about 7. We had leisurely morning. Breakfast chores and crosswords.  We left Henderson about 10 as planned. Got lost in the park as usual. I don't know how Steve gets so turned around. Drove 125 miles to this park . Lots of traffic. Very nerve racking.  Terrible roads. Arrived at 1. Got set up. Very nice park. Finally relaxed for a few days. Steve is having a hard time sitting still.   Miss football.

Thursday April 9, 2026, Camp Margaritaville, Breaux Bridge, LA

 We got up at 7. I barely got a sip of coffee before Mr. Ants in his pants  was getting ready to leave. We left at 8:30.  We drove from Freeport to Breaux Bridge LA 248 miles. We stopped for a potty break , lunch and potty and gas. We got here about 2:30. We were able to stay hooked up. Very nice parn but huge. We drove in circles trying to find our spot. Got hung up while the janitorial crew loaded an injured co worker.   Then collapsd in our chairs.  On to New Orleans tomorrow. 

Wednesday April 8, 2026, Blue Water RV Resort, Freeport TX

 Well our last night in Texas. Got up about 6:30. Crackers Coffee chores and crosswords. Then about 8:30 we loaded up the truck and headed up to the Resort restaurant.  New part workers took longer to enter the order than it did to cook. Very Salty.  Then we were off to Lake Jackson about 20 miles away.  First stop was Lowes. Then We looked for an ez pass at Walgreens ans CVS.  Then Walmart and HEB.  Finally we got home about 1.  TV and stitching.  About 4 we took a tour of the biggest leg of the park.  We returned the plastic to Roger and hit the dog park.  More TV and stitching.   On the crowd again.  Terrible ice cream selection in Texas.

Tuesday, April 7, 2026, Blue Water RV Resort, Freeport TX

 We were up early again. I wokecup at 6 and felt rested. So I played game until Steve got up about 6:30.  Breakfast chores crosswords.  Steve put some plastic on the ou

tside opening. Then washed the bugs off the trailer and truck.  Then it was stitching and TV and rest the remainder of the day.  At 4 we walked to the dog park and down to the office and back.  Then dinner. Finished the Joyful kitty. 6 down 2 to go.  Prepped the Turkey.

Monday April 6, 2026 , Blue Water RV Resort, Freeport TX

 This is our last stop in Texas.  We got up very early.  Breakfast chores  and we were up and moving. Only the road by 8:30.  We travelled 329 miles arriving here at 4:30. Set up bt 5:30.  We stopped twice for gas. Once for lunch and another time for potty break.  Way too much for one day.  Lots of rough road roads and bridges and a husband the drove too fast.  Some cover near the refrigerator  outside came off. A nice guy offered some heavy duty plastic as a temporary fix.  Will be nice to squat for awhile.

Sunday April 5, 2026, Fun-N-Sun RV Resort, San Benito TX

 Steve woke me up at 7is.  Breakfast chores crosswords.  Then it was off to the laundry for 3.5 hours. 4 loads of clothes.  Dried for 45 minutes only to find both dryer were not working.  Got home about 1. Put it all away.  Feels good to have it done. Rained most of the day. Got the dogs to poop about 5. Drying out now.  Easter. Heard from alot of people.  Steak for dinner.
