Friday April 24, 2026, Cape Kennedy RV Park, Mims FL

Got up at 7ish. Crackers and coffee,  chores. Made Steve some scrambled eggs. About 9:30 we jumped in the truck and drove about 40 miles to Apopka wildlife preserve to checkout the birds and alligators.  It was an 11 miles drive at 10 miles an hours. Saw lots.  Stopped for lunch on the 11  mile route.

Turned around and came home about 2:30. A quick stitch then walked the dogs. And off again to get cash.  Then dinner with Alan and LaWanda and Gay.  Home. Just three days to go.

Thursday April 23, 2026, Cape Kennedy RV Park, Mims FL

 Steve woke me up at 7:15. Breakfast chores and crosswords.  Then since Steve was chomping at the bit to get to LaWanda's I got dressed and we hit Walmart.  Lucky Walmart.  The came here and unloaded. Then we got there about 11:30. Steve got the lawn mower working.   LaWanda Gay and I played 5 crowns while Steve entertained Baby Alan.  Then we came back and it was TV and stitching  the rest of the night. Leftovers for dinner. Finished another ornament.   

Wednesday, April 22, 2026, Cape Kennedy RV Park, Mims FL

 Got up about 7:30. Breakfast chores and crosswords and spinning.  About noon we headed over to LaWanda's and waited for LaWanda to get back from picking up Tom And Sam from the Airport. They got back about 2. We left shortly after as LaWanda and Sam could get their nails done. They were not able to get an appointment.  Met for dinner at Steve's place. Then home to TV and stitching .

Tuesday April 21, 2026, Cape Kennedy RV Park, Mims FL

 Got up about 8. Breakfast chores and crosswords.  Then while Steve worked outside I mopped the floors. Then we were off  to LaWanda's.  We all sat and yakked for about 4 hours. Then home to cook dinner. Finally got to sit and watch TV and stitch.   1 day down , 6 to go.

Monday, April 20, 2026, Cape Kennedy RV Resort. Mims FL

 We got up about 7. Breakfast chores and crosswords.  Wectook our time getting ready as we only had a short drive.  We gotvon tgecrad about 10:45. We pulled into the Loves across the street and had lunch as we could not check in until 1. We were parked and set up by 1:30.  We rested the rest of the day.  Stitched and watched TV.   Fininished another ornament.  Cloudy all day.

Sunday, April 19, 2026, St. Augustine RV Resort, St. Augustine FL

 We got up about 7:30. Breakfast chores and crosswords.  Then laundry got sorted.  Down at the laundry by 9:30. 4 loads washed dried and folded.  Done by 11:30.  Put the clothes away.  The TV and stitching.  Steve monopolized tge TV all day and night.   2 hours of news bowling and golf.  I think he is nervous about seeing Alan. So he is trying to start something with me.  This should be a fun week.

Saturday April 18, 2026, St. Augustine RV Resort, St. Augustine FL

 We got to sleep in until 8 this morning.  Coffee and crackers.  Steve was in the in the freezer looking for pancakes which we already ate. Made him some scrambled eggs and toast.  He finished up some outside chores.  Then we took off for Camping World. A short  auto tour ood historic St. Augustine.  Home by noon.  Then TV and stitching the rest of the day.
