Monday April 6, 2026 , Blue Water RV Resort, Freeport TX

 This is our last stop in Texas.  We got up very early.  Breakfast chores  and we were up and moving. Only the road by 8:30.  We travelled 329 miles arriving here at 4:30. Set up bt 5:30.  We stopped twice for gas. Once for lunch and another time for potty break.  Way too much for one day.  Lots of rough road roads and bridges and a husband the drove too fast.  Some cover near the refrigerator  outside came off. A nice guy offered some heavy duty plastic as a temporary fix.  Will be nice to squat for awhile.

Sunday April 5, 2026, Fun-N-Sun RV Resort, San Benito TX

 Steve woke me up at 7is.  Breakfast chores crosswords.  Then it was off to the laundry for 3.5 hours. 4 loads of clothes.  Dried for 45 minutes only to find both dryer were not working.  Got home about 1. Put it all away.  Feels good to have it done. Rained most of the day. Got the dogs to poop about 5. Drying out now.  Easter. Heard from alot of people.  Steak for dinner.

Saturday, April 4, 2026, Fun-N-Sun RV Resort, San Benito, TX

  Got up at 7:30. Breakfast chores crosswords and finally some spinning.  We hungvout here. Very laid back till about noon then we took off to find the the wash rack for the truck.  Steve gets so turned around.  Found the Closest HEB store to look for drinks for Steve.  Got gas.  Stopped at the dog park  on the way in.  The thing to do at this park is hags out for hours at the dog park. Then it was TV and stitching the rest of the night. Finally finished Farah Foxette! Still feeling cramped in the trailer. 

Friday April 3, 2026, Fun-N-Sun RV Resort, San Benito TX

 Got up at 7:30.  Breakfast chores and crosswords.  Steve worked on the screw cover on the front of the trailer.  Then came in and changed out three lights.  He climbed on the top bunk and we cleaned the filters on the air conditioner.  Finally about 10:30 we jumped in the truck and explored the park stopping at the woodshop big dog park laundry and fitness center.  The we took off for South Padre Island.  We stopped at Walmart for gas and drinks in Los Fresnos. Tons of traffic goibgvtovthe island. Take out lunch at Dirty Al's. God forbid we leave the dogs in the trailer.  Steve was on a mission find a postcard for Jerry that said Gulf of America.  Touchy subject down here.  We hit about 5 places. Had ice cream ay the last place.  Then home about 4. Stitching and TV the rest of the night.  

Thursday April 2, 2026, Fun-N-Sun RV Resort, San Benito, TX

 We were up at the crack of dawn. Breakfast and chores. Only the Road by 8:30!. We drove 323 miles from Kerrville to San Benito.  We stopped for  potty break and gas. Then lunch and another gas stop. We arrived about 3:30 set up by 4. Then we all collapsed. Pancakes for dinner.   TV and stitching the rest ofvthe night.

Wednesday April 1, 2026, Kerrville Scheiner City Park, Kerrville TX

 Got up about 7:30. We had mediocre cinnamon rolls.  Then Steve worked out.  About 10:30 we headed over to Ferguson 's plumbing to say goodbye to Kim. Gave us some mugs from Ron's company.  Then we took a jaunt to Hunt about 7 miles down the road.  Got hair cuts and picked up a few things at Walmart. Made a few stops on the way back to the trailer . Got fuel.  Put everything away.  Little by little we started packing and  getting ready to take off in the morning. 

Tuesday March 31, 2026, Kerrville Scheiner City Park, Kerrville TX

 We got up and about around 7:30. Breakfast chores and crosswords.  Steve went outside and fixed the weather stripping on the trailer.  Then we were off to Fredericksburg.  We stopped at the Hill Country Cafe and picked up some cinnamon rolls.  Then Tractor for Def and greenies fortress dogs.  Then Hobby Lobby for some non essentials.  Finally off to Fredericksburg for a nice lunch at the Sunset Grill. Then we visited Austin Long at Fort Martin Scott. We walks the loop. Then home to collapse.   TV and stitching the rest of the night.   Finally finished Frank the Fox Sasst Stripper.
