Thursday, April 30, 2026, Stonebridge RV Resort, Maggie Valley, NC

1 We were up about 7:30. Woke up to a rainy day in Santee SC.  Breakfast chores and crosswords.  Left at 10.  Drove about 250 miles to Maggie Valley.  Stopped for gas and again for lunch at rest stop.  Arrived in our spot and set up by.  Then collapsed.  Dinner and stitching.  Beautiful here and much cooler.

Wednesday April 29, 2026. Sunny Days RV Park, Santee SC

 We got up about 7. Breakfast chores and we were back on the road about 9:45. We drove about 200 miles. The place in Orangburg SC we could not find .  We took a small detour and called the place in Santee which is a fairly new place and in pristine condition.   We arrived here about 2 and did a quick setup.  Another one night stand.  Off to North Carolina in the am.  We stopped at a buc-ees for gas and later for lunch and a pee. TV and stitching the rest of the night. 

Tuesday April 28, 2026, Southern Retreat RV Park, Brunswick GA

We got up about 6:30 . Breakfast chores and crosswords.  Then we finished packing up and headed out to Brunswick GA. About 190 miles. Stopped once for potty and lunch. Arrived  here about 1. Quick set up.  Then TV and stitching  the rest of the day.  Nice dog park.

Monday, April 27, 2026, Cape Kennedy RV Park, Mims FL

 Got up about 8. Breakfast chores and crosswords.  Finished trip planning.  About 12:30 we picked up our marbles and made our way over to LaWanda's for our last visit.   I wa allowed to get dressed and grabbed a small bite to eat.  Then we spent about 2 hours there. Once again no food . Then over to the grocery store.  Poured while I was in the store. Home. Put away groceries.  Dogs and games. Leftovers for dinner.  Then a  short time for stitching.  Ready to leave this place and head home. 

Sunday April 26, 2026, Cape Kennedy RV Park, Mims FL

 Got up about 7:45.  Breakfast chores crosswords and spinning.  We made some reservations for the trip home. Had a Quiet day at home. TV  and stitching.   Met LaWanda for dinner at Dixie Crosswords for a nice dinner. Home by 5:45.  Finished a roundabout.  Finishing season 4 of 24. 5 more to go.

Saturday April 25, 2026, Cape Kennedy RV Park, Mims FL

 Got up about 7:30. Breakfast chores and crosswords and got some spinning ans stitching in. About 12:30 we headed out to Rocky Point Wildlife  Drive. Saw some birds and a few Alligators.   Then over to LaWanda's to visit gor a couple of hours.  Then home for dinner and TV.  Stitching.

Friday April 24, 2026, Cape Kennedy RV Park, Mims FL

Got up at 7ish. Crackers and coffee,  chores. Made Steve some scrambled eggs. About 9:30 we jumped in the truck and drove about 40 miles to Apopka wildlife preserve to checkout the birds and alligators.  It was an 11 miles drive at 10 miles an hours. Saw lots.  Stopped for lunch on the 11  mile route.

Turned around and came home about 2:30. A quick stitch then walked the dogs. And off again to get cash.  Then dinner with Alan and LaWanda and Gay.  Home. Just three days to go.
