May 31, 2021 Perry's Green River, Central City KY

 We had a very nice day.  We got up. I made sausage gravy.  We had a nice breakfast.   Angie may love to cook but she isn't very good at it.  I sat and chatted with her for a couple of hours.  Steve went down and caught a couple of fish.   I sewed fir a few hours.  Angie and I was supposed to town but we never made it.  Kevin worked on and off.   Steve went to Breman to help Kevin with the Bees and ended up getting stung.  Then we BBQ'ed chicken thighs.  We made homemade ice cream which didn't get churned enough.  We sat there till about 8:30.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

May 30, 2021 Perry's Green River, Central City KY

 We had a wonderful day today.  The weather was perfect.  Not too hot.  Steve got up at the crack of dawn and went on a breakfast ride with Kevin.  I slept in and got up leisurely.   Just as I was going to take the dogs out Steve came home.  We put up the screen room.  And sat in it and chatted Steve and I for quite awhile.  Then he went down to fish aka sleep and nap.  I went in to do chores and sew.  I sewed and worked puzzles.   Then we decided to have an early chinese .  They have a different take on honey walnut shrimp.  Then Steve wanted to stop at Tractor Supply for bait.  They did not have any so we stopped at Walmart for a few things.  Home again.   Steve went fishing and I went up to watch TV.   Steve helped with the lights.  I cuddled with the dogs as usual.  We will see the Perry's again tomorrow for the holidays.   I needed a break from visiting.   

May 29, 2021 Perry's Green River, Central City KY

 Great day.  Today was girls and boys separate days.  I was ready to go at 9 and we left at 9:30.  We went to Central coffee but they were closed.  Then one shop in Central City.  Decided to go to Greenville which is the county seat.   We had coffee and a muffin then a couple more stores.  Then off to Owensboro.   We went to TJ Maxx.  Finally got back home just after 2.  We hung out here for a few hours then Angie and I went to her house.  We took a tour of the homes in the area.  Finally after starting a fire we BBQ'ed the steaks.  We ate in our garage as it was too cold to eat outside.   For some reason we can't go in their trailer or house.  Dishes.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   Angie is quite the talker but we had a good time.   We have much more in common with the Perry's then the Zoellicks.   

May 28, 2021 Perry's Green River, Central City KY

 We had another great day here on the river. I got up at 7 and made an apple pie.  Angie had us meet at their Bremen house at 10:30.  We drove to Crofton. They had a nursery with lots of pretty flowers. I got a planter with some succulents. Then the bulk store. They had some really neat and yummy things. Then another bulk store.  Finally a wonderful meat store.  Then home.  We made a mad dash to the grocery store.  Home for lunch and put it all away.  We hung out here until the rain and wind drove us inside.   We had a baked spaghetti dinner with the Perry's and apple pie for dessert.   We came home early and had a nice quiet evening at home.  We enjoyed the TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

May 27, 2021 Perry's Green River, Central City KY

Busy day.  Steve and I spent the day looking at houses for sale. I guess we like the area.  We found a couple that we kind of liked.  But nothing we really wanted to rush out and make an offer on.  We came back for lunch . We put up and took down the new screen room.  Then off to what's the scoop for ice cream.  Walmart  and back home .  I sewed and Steve and Kevin fished.  Angie arrived.  She was either tired or not in a food mood.  We went to some burger place in Island.  We don't need to go back.  Then back to the rig for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

May 26, 2021 Perry's Green River, Central City KY

 We got up late.  It was raining.  We had a leisurely morning.   I got some sewing done and at 2 we went to town to get our toes done.  They actually spoke english.  We spent two hours in there as they wanted to hear about our travels.  Then we back to the rig.  We BBQ'ed a tri-tip and I made yeast rolls.  We had a short dinner then back home for dishes and finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

May 25, 2921 Perry's Green River, Central City KY

 Well another great day.  We love it here on the green river.  We got up had breakfast.   Chatted with our hosts.  Did our chores.  We jumped in the truck and checked out our neighborhood and we made it back here.  We made an appointment for the truck. Angie had a toe appointment.   Then we came home and had lunch.  More chores more visiting.   Steve went on a ride.  Angie and I went to dinner at Stellions.  It was really yummy.  We talked alot and had a great time.  Kevin called and we thought Steve was lost so before we got to the  restaurant we turned around and came back to the house.  Then a wonderful dinner and back to the house.  The Angie and I visited till the guys came back at 8:30ish. Came back did some kitchen chores and showered and finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

May 24, 2021 Perry's Green River, Central City, Kentucky

 Well we made it.  We left by 9 as planned.  We stopped for potty brake and lunch.  We took many highways to get here.  We had to call Kevin a couple of times as we couldn't find his place on the river.  We got here about 2:30.  They have a beautiful place right on the river.  They have two standard poodles Ivy and Canyon.  It was iffy if they were going to get along with the girls. They started chatting with us about 3 and we didn't leave their camper til about 9:30.  They have a covered camper and patio area.  You can cut their southern accent with a knife but they are very nice people. Very down to earth. Finally it was time  for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

May 23, 2021 Natchez Trace Campground, Hohenwald TN

 Our last night here.  It was a very busy day today.  We got us around 7.  I gathered us the clothes and there we lots of them.  We decided to take them to town as the park only had 3 washers in two places.  We had 5 loads.  Steve washed the truck while I  did the laundry.   We had lunch at at very poorly run Burger King. Then home and unloaded the clothes.  We  finished putting everything away.  I worked on some sewing project.  Then we really went to work.  Steve felt compelled to wash the bike and parts of the rig.  We had left overs for dinner.   Then I did dishes and went up to the bedroom.  Then I heard Steve moving around and I went down to check on him.  He was fixing the window covering  on my side.  Finally after all that it was time to relax with the dogs.  

May 22, 2021 Natchez Trace Campground, Hohenwald TN

 Well we had a very nice day.  We woke up fairly early.   I fixed some scrambled eggs.  Then we hopped in the car and headed to Walmart.  I did my shopping.  Came home and got some sewing done.  It was really hot today.  We stayed cool as possible.  Steve did some carving.  We had tacos for dinner.  Dishes and finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

May 21, 2021 Natchez Trace Campground, Hohenwald TN

 We had a fairly good day.  We got up and decided to go to Hohenwald for breakfast  and pick up the mail.  We had a mediocre breakfast at the Southern Grill.  They had no toilet paper and what the had you couldn't put in the toilet.   We came home and I made the bed.  Then I got about 2 hours with of sewing done.  The it was time for more kayaking.  A very nice man who was watching us get out of the boat  helped Steve carry the boat to the truck.  He took pity on us.  I need to loose some weight and so does Steve.  Then we came home and I did some chores in the house while Steve put the boat away. We BBQ'ed ribs that turned out quite well.  Dishes.  Glends called and Steve met someone who used to Live in Lincoln CA.  Drives a Dutch Star.  Two days and we are on the way to the Perry's.   Look like we may have a good time there.  

May 20, 2021 Natchez Trace Campground, Hohenwald TN

 We got up timely and left the house by 8 am.  We took the round about way to Lascasses where Moose and his wife live. We went through Fayetteville.   Loved that area as well as the area where the Kellers live.  We stopped at Walmart so I could grab a plant.  Steve walked the dogs.  I was gone a little too long .  He thru a hissy fit.  We got past it. Some what.  But something has to change.  We got there and chatted for awhile then we had a wonderful lunch.  Loved their house. It was just the right size.  We kedt about 2:30.  Steve was happy cause he was curious about their house as I suspected all along.  We got after 4.  We had grilled cheese for dinner.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

May 19, 2021 Natchez Trace Campground, Hohenwald TN

 Well today was a much better day than yesterday.   Steve was in a much better frame of mind today.  He was up at 3:30 most likely because he slept most of yesterday.   But far be it from me to mention it.  I was able to get some sewing done.  Finished another Snowmam block .it was so worn out the pieces were loosing on the background.   After lunch we took the Kayak out and paddled for about an hour.  It was actually fun.  Steve even thanked me for going with him.  I just about fell over.  We came  back and I finished up my sewing.  We then piddled about. I made some more reservations. Then we ate dinner.  Steve just isn't as sharp as he once was.   He has a real problem staying focused and organized. After BBQ'ed hamburgers there were a few dishes.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

May 18, 2021 Natchez Trace Campground, Hohenwald TN

 Wow.  It rained all day.  We had a nice morning.   Steve decided he wanted to go down to the Trading post.  I wanted to finish sewing .  So down we went to check out the laundry.  Then we ended up having lunch there.  An hour and half later I started sewing.  Steve and I squabbled all afternoon.   Partly my mood was fucked up.  The I realized he must be coming down off the meds the dr. Gave him for his ear.  We BBQ'ed pork steaks for dinner.  I was told we getting out the boat for fishing.   Also we are now going all the way to Murfreesboro instead of meeting Moose and Susan halfway in Springhill which means we will all day on the road.  I wish I got a vote on some of these plans.  I hope Steve and can work things out.  Finally the day ended as normal with TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

May 17, 2021 Natches Trace Campground, Hohenwald TN

 We got up and drove the two hours to the park.  We got here at 11:15.  All went fairly smooth til we got to our reserved spot.  Guess what somebody took the reserved spot off and jumped in there.  We took a spot next to them.  Fortunately we are connected to their wifi so life can go on.  We have satelite TV but no network channels.   According to direct they have no coverage there.  Steve took a nap while I read my book and worked some crosswords. I took a good walk but need to do more.  I cooked chicken cordon blue for dinner.  Did dishes.   Got all settled then Steve decides to put up the back which I wanted to do when we took the bike out.  I wish Steve and I would get back in sync.  I wish  I could enjoy this trip more.  Anyway finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

May 16, 2021 Beech Lake Family Campground, Lexington TN

 Well it was a long day riding in the truck most of it.  We got up late and had breakfast.   We jumped in the truck and checked out the route to the new Campground.   Since we haven't  been there for 3 years it took us awhile to to figure the route there which is very convoluted.   Any when we found the park we also found the very nice park ranger who helped find a spot and snagged it for us.  Then we drove back stopping in Waynesboro for lunch at McDonald's.   Then back to the park stopping at Walmart and Dollar General.   Finally back at the trailer we put away the groceries and kicked back having had a late lunch. Finally it was time for TV and cuddles.   Turns out bizzaro Steve was back . I tried to make reservations for our time with the boys.  All of a sudden his black mood was back.  

May 15, 2021 Beech Lake Family Campground, Lexington TN

 We moved from the awful Campground Jonesboro AR where we  had satellite to this lovely place with no satellite.   We took our time getting hooked up but it was probably 9 when we left.  We took Hwy 55 up thru Blythesville to the southern tip of Missouri up to carrotherville then over TN.   The road was so bad in AR that Steve pulled over because he thought we had a flat tire.  We stopped for a potty break and a lunch break.  We turned down the right road.  We thought that we missed the turn  but just a we were backing up into someone's yard they came out to help us and tell us that we were headed in the right direction.   We arrived just after 2.  One of the perms gave Steve a ride  to the office.  We got set up and took naps. The we walked the Campground.   We had dinner and dishes.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   I think I

am ready to settle down. I hope Steve gets there soon.  Before we kill each other.  

  

May 14, 2021 Perkins RV, Jonesboro AR

 Today is the last day in this hell hole.  Steve's ear is still bothering him.  We got up about 7.  We left here about 9.  We went about 30 miles to Lake Pointsett.  Should have camped there.  Really beautiful.  Then over to Crowley's Nature preserve where we all went potty.  Then we went to  Walmart for groceries.   Came home put away the groceries.   We hung out the rest of the day.  I did a little sewing.  We had left over Pizza for dinner.  Dishes.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

May 13, 2021 Perkins RV, Jonesboro AR

 Well Steve is on the mend.  We spent all day at the rig.  I finally got some sewing done.  In fact I sewed most of the day.  This has been some really dark days with some really bad trailer rage.  I took a short walk with the dogs.  I finished sewing yesterday's old school blocks.  Also the fronts of the matching pillow covers for the flannel quilt.  Then leftovers for dinner and it was finally time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

May 12, 2021 Perkins RV, Jonesboro AR

 Well when Mama is right she definitely is.  Steve finally crumbled and went to urgent care to see about a very bad ear infection. We took off leisurely for a ride.  We checked out Craigshead Froest Park.  It was really nice.  We would not have gotten any satellite there.  Then we headed over to the Mississippi.   We saw the boyhood home of Johnny Cash.  We took a quick glimpse of the Mississippi.   We ate at Subway in ocleno.   Then came back.  We chilled out.   We ordered Pizza delivered.   Then Steve caved and went to urgent care.   We got out of there just before 7.  So we flew over to Walmart to fill the prescriptions.  Back here we went to our own TV's and I got to cuddle with the dogs.

 

May 11, 2021 Perkins RV, Jobesboro AR

 Well we had quite the day.  I got up at 7:30 made breakfast and we leisurely got ready to move.  We left at 11:30.  Amazing.  We drove about 70 miles.  When we got to this place I was ready to leave but Steve insisted we stay.  We couldn't find the office so we called the owner.  Apparently he was at Walmart.  We decided to use the bathroom while we waited.  Of course he showed up.  Then he drove us to the front of the park next to the freeway.   He does business out of the back of the truck.  Of course we got pens with name of the park! Of course the bike will remain in the trailer for the next week.   Hazel finally made a poop.  Then we watched our game shows.   We do have satelite but no network channels. So I spent over an hour on the phone with DirecTV.  I was ready to kill by the time I got off.  I made hamburger Strognanoff for dinner.  Dishes.  Somehow I spilt red jello on my shirt.  Bye bye shirt.  Anyway after dishes it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

Will not come back here.!

May 10, 2021 Barnes RV, Bald Knob AR

 I wish I was enjoying this trip more.  I am definitely ready to settle in one place.  So I better enjoy this travel more.  I wish Steve was in a better mood or I could shake it off.  Since the election he has been so moody.  Up then down.  Maybe it is me.  I have not been in the best of moods either.  I just want to sew and the conditions have not been favorable.  When we are stable Steve wants to drive around.   We just are not in sync.  

Anyway we out of the house by 8:30.  We has McDonald's for breakfast.  We then headed to Heber Springs.   We stopped in Pangburn for a potty break.  We went by Workamper News  yeah .  They office.  Then we went to the JFK Memorial overlook at Greer's Ferry Dam.  By then we weren't speaking.   So we headed back to Searcy.  I got a haircut,  we got propane and I got some groceries at Walmart.  Finally we headed home.  We got here about 2:30.  So we just chilled the rest of the day.  We had wrapped hot dogs.  Then it was time for our nightly rendezvous on the bed for TV and cuddles with the dogs.
