January 31, 2022 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 Last day of the first day of the year.  Well fingers crossed Friday we should be in the new house.  We got up pretty early to go to Casa Grande to pick up the Teryx.  Left about 8:30 arrived about 10:30.  Steve loaded the Teryx while I took the dogs to the dog park.  Then we dropped the trailer.  The gang all met at Sandy's and we went to Culver's for lunch.  We left there abou 1 pm. We got back about 3.  The we dropped the teryx and trailer then went to storage and moved the cargo trailer back closer to the wall.  A Teryx ride to the dog park and we went home for dinner dishes and finally TV it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

January 30, 2022 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 We got up early so that we were ready for the Fords for a bisquits and gravy breakfast.   The stayed and chatted. Steve and Mike hooked up the trailer so that we can go get the teryx. They left about 12:30.  I worked on preparing my next stitching project.  We BBQ'ed hot dogs and had a nice time watching two championship football games.   Steve and Larry both lost.  

January 29, 2022 Orchard Ranch RV Park

 Well we are truly broke now.  We went nuts at the furniture store.   Sofa loveseat. Bedroom set and Mattress. Then over to Finicky's for chairs. Finally Safeway.  Back to the rig via the dog park.  We put away the groceries then dropped the furniture from Finicky's in the cargo trailer.  Back to the rig to have lunch. I made dinner and hung out.  We ate early.  Went to card Bingo and made our donation.  Colleen brought us home. Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

January 28 , 2022 Irchard Ranch

 The first month of the year is about over with.  Colleen and I went to JoAnn's and took advantage of the sale on fleece.  I even bought a piece myself.  Direct TV came and we have TV.   Steve is happy.  We hung out at the house the rest of the day. We talked to Winegard about the receiver.  We made hotel reservations for our run to CA. Hazel slept in my lap for at least two  hours while I worked crossword puzzles.  Then we BBQ'ED steak for dinner.  Dishes and it was finally time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

January 27, 2022 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 We got up fairly early and had breakfast we went and aired our grievances at the sales office with Renee.  We dropped some things off at the cargo  trailer. The checked out the truck fit at the new house.  Bent the downspout.  Then headed to the Stepping stones Thrift store.  We walked thru there.  Then Mattress Firm to look at mattresses.  Lenscrafters.  Costco then home for a quick lunch.  We went and got our mail at Colleen's.  I left my phone there .  Back to Colleens.  Dinner dishes and finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.  

January 26, 2022 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 What a day.  We left Fiesta Grande about 9:30.  About 25 miles from Orchard Ranch we started smoking . We pulled over and the back trailer tire was flat.  Steve got the old one off.  Somehow he crinkled the side of the trailer and broke the holder bracket for the calipers.   He had me call good Sam roadside assistance.   Then some guys from Arizona DOT stopped and helped us get back on the road.  Finally  2 hours later we made it home. Everybody was happy to see us. We got set up and then I spent a hour on the phone with DirecTV.   Won't have satelite til Friday . Dinner and dishes.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

January 25, 2022 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ .

 Our last day here was catastrophic.   The coffee pot died. Finally.   Have been waiting a long time for this day.  We had to drink instant. Ugh.  Once we got motivated we readied the rig.  Steve dumped and we put the motorcycle in.  Packed what we could.  Found out the closing date will be Feb. 4th.  So ready to get out of the trailer.   We took a tour of the park in the Teryx and said our goodbyes.   So sad.  Ran to Walmart for a new coffee pot.  Red .  Then home and off to Dairy Queen to celebrate Betty 'a Birthday.   Stopped for propane and gas for the truck.  Threw a hissy fit because the cross stitch would not come out right.  Must have ripped it out 5 times.  Took the Teryx to Sandy's and visited with them.  Back for quick bite for dinner.  Dishes and it was finally time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

January 24, 2022 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 As much as I will miss my friends here I am anxious to get back to Orchard Ranch. We got up on the late side. I got ready and Betty picked me up. We went to JoAnn's and the dollar store.  Then home .  Steve is being really nice. We took off in the Teryx to run errands.   We went to see Wally and Leslie who were quarantining.  Then Sandy and Alan.  We visited with them while they ate hot dogs.  Finally home to an early dinner.  We went to see a great tribute band for Johnny Cash. It was a great show.  Home to retire to the bedroom for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

January 23, 2022 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 We got up leisurely and were ready to go when Paul and Shirley came by at 10:20.  We were sitting in front of Texaa Road house at 10:30.  We went in at 11 on the dot. We had a nice lunch which they paid most of.  Came back and grabbed the dog sand went down to the Heebner's.  We played cards for a couple of hours then Steve decided he missed enough football.  Steve has gone off the deep end with this house thing.  He must think we are paupers.   If we are going to be this tight we should never have agreed to buy the house.  Surely the gas and park fees should be enough to compensate for some of the disparity.   Anyway we came home and watched TV for the rest of the evening.   We snacked for dinner.  The dogs and I cuddled while watching TV and switching. 

January 21, 2022 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Today was a really nice day.  Got up at 8.  Breakfast and chores.  Went to Betty's to sew with her for 3 1/2 hours.  Home for a quick lunch.  Suzanne is bad again.  Went to Fry's to pick a few groceries.   Then home to organize my thread box. BBQ'ed hamburgers for dinner. Dishes and more chores.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

January 20, 2022 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Well our time here is coming to a close.  We got up late. Sophie's was driving us crazy . Apparently she had really bad gas.  Steve went to carving to get away from her.  I decided to walk with her around the park.   When Steve came back he walked the dogs.  I finally walked over Betty's to get some pepto Bismol.  Then lunch.  I trimmed all the quilts.  We went over to Sandy and Alan 'a so we could help Alan with Facebook.   Then dinner dishes and finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   Sophie is much better.  I sold 4 covered notebooks.   

January 19, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort , Casa Grande AZ

 Fun day today.  We got up on the late side.  Me 7: 30. Steve an hour later.  Betty came at 10 and we ran over to Walmart to pick up Steve's ear drops.  We ran them back here and I put them in Steve's ear.  The over to JoAnn's.   Lunch at Lucky's. Found out Suzanne had another uti and was in the ER.   Chinese.  Then Michael's and the dollar store.   Came home took a Teryx ride and hung out until time for Bingo. Sandy and Alan was tied up with her since 6 am. Went to Bingo . Won half a Bingo.  Sat by the Heebner's.   Home and it was finally time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

January 18, 2022 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Today I did not want to be around my husband.  He went to the doctor.   Got a prescription but had one hell of a time getting it. Filled.  The house did not appraise high enough so we split the difference with the seller.  We went to Creative Cafe for lunch.  Steve is just not a happy camper.  He is going to start job hunting as soon as we get back to Prescott.  Right. Both Walmart and CVS were out of the Cipro for his ear or the wanted $400.00 for it.  Everyone came over for apple pie and ice cream for after lunch treat.  After they left we made a mad dash for the meds.  Then home to chill in front of our respective rooms and the TV and dogs. . Bought our first our piece of used furniture a drop leaf table that will eventually be in the quilt room.

January 17, 2022 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Today was a very busy day.  It started off with Alan following Steve to Jones Ford for some car repairs.  The got back just as I was coming back from the dog park.  Steve called optima for someone to look ar Steve's ear.  Tuesday morning  was the first appointment.   Then I took Sandy and the laundry to the laundry.   We visited and sis laundry for the next 3 hours.  Came home and put away the clothes.  Made the apple pie for tomorrow.   Then we took a Teryx ride.  As soon as the pie was done we ran to the store for ice cream.  Then dinner.  Dishes.  Words with Steve.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

January 16, 2022 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Well and yet another lazy day.  We got up fairly early.  Steve headed out to urgent car only to find the place closed.  Came back with donuts.   We did our chores and watched football.   Betty is in recovery.  I crossstitched most of the day.  Not quite windy.  Steve hoping to go to the doctor tomorrow after he drops off the truck.  Left over tomale pie for dinner.  Dishes and finally TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

January 15, 2022 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Today was  lazy day.  Steve ear continues to bother him however he still refuses to go to the doctor. Steve got up at 9 me at 8.  We went and picked up the quilts.  They turned out amazing.   I picked up Betty's as well. She is still out of commission.   I watched TV and cross stitched.  Sandy came by about 3:30.  I showed her my quilts.  Then we stopped at the dog park when I took her back to her rig.  Dinner dishes and it was finally time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

January 14, 2022 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Life as we know it has restarted the satellite is fixed and we have TV again.  As soon as the repairman left we jumped in the car and drove to the Walmart in Maricopa.  Then home to unload.  Betty was sick so we could not have our girls day as planned.  We jumped in the Teryx and dropped off and picked up stuff at Betty's. Then over to Sandy's to catch up for a couple of hours.  We BBQ'ed chicken thighs for dinner.  Dishes and finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

January 13, 2022 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 It was a nice day.  Steve got up in a mad rush as the clock said 10:30 but it was only 6 :45.  We had coffee and breakfast.   Steve went to carving.  I did chores.   He came home and we took a Teryx ride.  We took a ride to town for propane and gas for the Teryx.   The we had lunch at Culvers and iver to Fry's for shopping .  The shelves were pretty bare.  Came home and un loaded the groceries.   I took the dogs to the park.  Then we watched endless episodes of  Catch 21.  Dinner was tamale pie.  Dishes etc finally it was time to escape to the bedroom for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

January 12, 2022 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 We got up early and left about nine.  Dmsaid goodbye to Gary and Marie.  We drove about 180 miles stopping twice. We arrived about 12:30.  Once we got set up Steve immediately wanted to get the satellite setup.  It didn't happen so as we left for our Tuesday night supper club on Wednesday  I was on the phone with Direct TV scheduling an appointment to have them come out.  We d had a nice dinner at the Airport Cafe.  Then over to Dairy Queen for ice cream treat.  Back to the rig to feed the dogs.  Over to Bingo to watch Suzanne win the big blackout Bingo.  Finally home for TV and cuddles with Sophie.  Hazel seems more lively but won't come up stairs yet.  

January 11, 2022 Yuma Lakes RV Park, Yuma AZ

 Our last day here.  So glad. Steve admitted that he was ready to leave a long time ago.  We got up really late.  Breakfast and chores.  I wanted to go to Dairy Queen but until Steve decided that that this was the day to get the Bow battery for the motorcycle.   So off we went.  Dairy Queen  does not serve burgers here.  Back at the rig Steve installed the battery.  He tried to help Gary but they butted heads.  So he came home.  They made up.  Marie dropped by to say goodbye.   We loaded the motorcycle and Steve dumped.  We had the last of the spaghetti for dinner.  Dishes and it was time for TV and cuddles with the Sophie. 

January 10, 2022 Yuma Lakes RV Park, Yuma AZ

 Another nice uneventful day. The guys came to wash and wax the rig.  We hung out as usual around the rig.  I finished my block.  Cleaned up the back.  We all played Bingo but didn't win anything.  One  more day and we are out of here.  Very upset with Sandy right now since she can't bothered to return my calls.  Thank goodness Betty is my bestie even she drives me nuts.  Finally when we got back from Bingo it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   Hazel seems better today.

January 9, 2022 Yuma Lakes RV Park, Yuma AZ

 Our time here is ending.  Thank goodness.  We got up about 8.  I made Steve breakfast pancakes and eggs.  Then we sat around in our pj's and watched football.  I finished a block.   Worked puzzles and did cross stitch.  We had a much needed lazy day.  Trailer getting washed tomorrow.  We BBQ'ed chicken burgers.   Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

January 8, 2022 Yuma Lakes RV Park, Yuma AZ

 We got up about 8. Steve later than me. We had breakfast.   Did chores.  We just hung around camp.  I sewed steve carved. I did cross stitch as well.  Marie flitted around waiting to go get Gary in the hospital. We tried to sing happy Birthday to Sandy but as usual she doesn't answer.   her phone.  We BBQ'ed pork steaks. This is the first time we have not done anything at a Campground.   Gas is too expensive to sightsee.  Steve left the Campground once.  Neither one of us like the Campground.   We couldn't see either one of the friends we planned on seeing while here.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

January 7, 2022 Yuma Lakes RV Park, Yuma AZ

 Got to sleep in this morning.   Bazarro Steve got out of bed.  We made a few phone calls regarding the house.  Marie got home about 5 from the hospital.  Steve went berserk over some perceived slight.  Went over the deep end.  We finished our chores.  We took some papers to Staples to be sent out to our Lender.  Then Harbor Freight.   Finally we decided to have lunch at Red Lobster.  Then home after a stop at the dog park.   Took Dixie for a walk and brought her back to the trailer till Marie came back.   I relaxed till it was time to make dinner.  I made hamburger Salisbury Steak.  Dishes and it was finally time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

January 6, 2022 Yuma Lakes RV Park, Yuma AZ

 Interesting day.  Got up early so Marie and I could go shopping.   Went to Sam's and Albertsons.  Another 3 hour shopping trip.  While we were at Albertsons we were approached in the parking lot we were asked  by a roving reporter my opinion on the celebration of  the Jan. 6th riot at the Capitol.   I declined to have my  opinion put on film.  I forgot to dress for being on TV. Unloaded and put the groceries away.   Was going to play pony tail  but I got stood up for poker.  Steve and I tried to pull some docs together  for the house.  I shake my head at Steve's inability to handle clerical issues.  Anyway we had dinner with Marie and Gary .  After dinner Marieand I started to play cards.  Steve and Gary we outside.   Gary tripped and fell.  Marie took home to the hospital to get checked out as he hurt is leg and barely able to stand and walk.  We are anxiously waiting on a report from the hospital.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

January 5, 2022 Yuma Lakes RV Park, Casa Grande AZ

 We got up early and went to breakfast at the clubhouse which was mediocre at best.   Then we went home. I tried to sew a little but Marie was off today.  I did finish one block.  Marie talked me into playing hand and foot at one.  In the meantime she came over to visit several times.  That woman needs to find a hobby.  So I played and and foot for two and half hours.  Then home for a quick dinner and off to Bingo for 4 hours.  I did win one and split another.  Home to walk the dogs and then it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

January 4, 2022 Yuma Lakes RV Park, Yuma AZ

 Busy day today. We got up at 8:30 this morning.  Breakfast and chores.  Hazel continues to hide from the flies. I was busy doing 4 loads of clothes and folding everything.   Steve did some carving and I snuck some sewing in.  We had left overs for dinner.  Dishes. Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. Weather was great.  

January 3, 2022 Yuma Lakes RV Park, Yuma AZ

 This day was a bust.  I got up late.  I made Steve a  huge breakfast.  Steve took the withdrawals from his 401 so that we could make the down payment on the house.  Then the directv guy  came an we ended up with a residential free standing satellite but we have satelite again.  He was working here for 4 hours.  I tried sewing but nothing was working out.  I ended up cross stitching.   At five I went over to play with the Bingo daubers.  Back at 9:30 .  A few chores then it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

January 2, 2022 Yuma Lakes RV Park, Yuma AZ

 Quiet day.  Steve was in a somewhat better mood.  We got up a little earlier.   Just after 8 for me.  I ended up doing cross stitch most of the day and watching football with Steve.  I walked down and visited Marie in the office booth. Steve took a very short motorcycle trip returning  just in time for the ice cream social.  We made BBQ'ed ribs in the instapot.   Marie came over and we chatted for about an hour.  I just finished the dishes and here came Marie. I had to watch TV on the air channels no recording.  So she left just in time for my program.  Steve is bummed since he can't watch the season finale of Yellowstone.   Boy are we spoiled.  

January 1, 2022 Yuma Lakes RV Park, Yuma AZ

 We didn't get up until 9 this morning.   At 11 Marie and I went grocery shopping.   We first went to the 99 cent store.  She talks incessantly.   Then Walmart.   When I came home Steve was in the phone to Direct TV.  Something is wrong with the Satellite or the wiring.  Steve tried to Carver. I took care of some chores.  We had leftovers for dinner.   Steve threw a fit over the refund from Citibank and Expedia.   He simply cannot handle the stress.  I then become his whipping post.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.
