July 31, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Last day oy July.  Glendas Birthday.   Got up and made Steve breakfast.   Went over to the trailer and took more things over there.  Brought some back.  Then dog park after a short visit with the Fords. Then over to Walmart.  Finally Fry's.   Home to chill and stitch.  Getting close to finishing my quilt patterns project.  Dinner was baked lasagna.  Cleanup.  Finally it was time for TV, cuddles and stitching. 

July 30, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got a lot accomplished today.  I decided to clean the refrigerator.   Took a little longer than anticipated.  Then Colleen came over and we worked on the new lettering for the chart I am working on.  Then stitching .Steve worked outside even through lunch.  I too the dogs to the dog park and ran into the truck door backing out.  Sophie's jumped out of the cart going around the corner.  I almost hit Steve and he yelled at me.  Dinner then card Bingo with Colleen.   Hone for TV, cuddles and stitching.    Steve hung up my seed packet project.  

July 29, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up and went back to bed. Breakfast.  Steve worked outside off and on.  Went to Costco and Walmart.   More shopping tomorrow.  Stitching.  Rain off and on.  Quiet day otherwise.  Finally it was time for TV, cuddles and stitching.  We have to work out a better schedule for sleeping.

July 28, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up at a reasonable hour.  Steve went to carving. He was home by 9:30.  We loaded a bunch of stuff in the truck and took it to the trailer.  The hung out at the house the rest of the day.  Stitching.   Steve worked outside off and on weather permitting.   Dinner.  Cleanup.   Trips to dog park.  Steve pulled his usual 9:30 to bed routine.  Think it must be his sunlight deprivation syndrome. He makes me go in the bedroom  then kicks me out when he wants.  We did our usual TV,cuddles and stitching.  

Jult 27, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up at a reasonable time.   Breakfast and chores. I worked on my seed packets. Steve went to Fords to finish the back stairs.  They treated us to lunch at Firehouse subs I went with Colleen to get them.  We met the new neighbors Ron and Diana.  Sally's movers came and went.  Poof she was gone.  Stitched the rest of the day. We broiled hot dogs.  I started bagging things up for the trip.  Finally it was time for TV , cuddles and stitching. 

July 26, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up early so we could take the trailer in to have the refrigerator recall done.  Before we left I happen to ask if Steve going to fix the chair.  Mt. Vesuvius erupted.  He shoved the table into me.  Greabbee the chair.and repaired it.  What a Bully.  We then hooked up to the trailer and took it to Affinity.   It was a silent trip. After we dropped the trailer we went to Galvin Ford to get propane and dropped something off at the cargo trailer.   Then back home before the rain started. I texted Colleen and we left the silent house to go to stepping stones to shop for things to use for mounting the cross stitch.  They had a store wide sale of 35 percent off.  We had fun.  Came home and went in the bedroom to watch TV and stitch.  At three we went to get the trailer.  When we put it back in storage there was a huge puddle.  Came home about dinner time which was left overs.  Shrimp and a burrito.   Then back into the bedroom  for TV, cuddles and stitching. 

July 25, 2022 Irchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Rained until late afternoon.   I worked in the craft room while Steve helped Mike build the stairs.  They went to Ace hardware after the dog park run.  Colleen and I went to Stepping stone in the middle of a downpour. They were closed so we came back.  Stitched most the rest of the day.  Another dog park run.  Breakfast leftovers for dinner.  Finally after cleanup it was time for TV, cuddles and stitching. 

July 24, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up early and I had biscuits and gravy ready by 8:15.  They stayed and chatted till  almost ten.  We saw them off.Steve started to di he intarsia.  Mike wanted talk about the step project.  I was doing laundry.  Went over to Fords .  Then back.  Mike and Steve went over to Lowes  and stopped at Bosa donuts.  Yum.  I finally got to Stitch.  Then we had dinner of pot pies.   Dig park.  Bizarro steve Turner up about dinner time.  I guess it is in Steve's Gene's to be a clothes and shoe slob.  Finally it was time for TV, cuddles and stitching.  

July 23, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We had a nice visit with LaWanda and Alan.  We had a bacon Frencjmh toast breakfast.   Cleanup and LaWanda did laundry.   Then after a dog park run we climbed into Alan's Jeep Gladiator and took the bad roads into Prescott.   Off to Watson Lake. Then we decided to have lunch about 2 at Arby's.   It poured while we were in the restaurant. Then a  quick stop at Safeway.  We sat at the house trying to keep peace with the dogs. We had dominoes deliver Pizza.  We played a round of 5 crowns.  Then they finally left.  Shower and bed on the agenda. 

July 22, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 A rather disappointing day.  Got up breakfast and chores.  Spent a hour visiting Colleen and crafting.  Home then dog park.  Alan and LaWanda came.  Bugsy is cute but wild.  The girls didn't get along with him.  It was nice to see them but they have really changed.  Not for the better.  They don't appear to be in good health.  We went to Casa Perez for dinner.  The Fords joined us.  Then home to chat they left about 8:30.  Finally it was time for TV , cuddles and stitching.   Can't wait for tomorrow to be over.  

July 21, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ R

 Got up and had breakfast and chores.  Steve went to Carving and the dentist only to find out there was nothing they could do.  Steve went to Safeway.  We did the dig park. Lunch.  Stitching. Finished  last seed packet.  Started new project.   Left overs for dinner.  Thunder and lightning this evening.  Finally it was time for TV , cuddles and stitching.  

July 20, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up early and got ready. Colleen picked me up for the movie.  Where the crawdads sing. Excellent movie.  Then met the guys at the Canton Dragon.  Then Walmart.  Home to relax and stitch.  Dog park.  LaWanda and Alan will be Friday . Pigs in the blanket for dinner.   Colleen texted me that the bread was ready.  So I drive over and picked it up.   It rained really hard about 5.  Came down it buckets.   Then it was time for TV,  cuddles  and stitching.  

July 19, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up and spent the rest of the morning scanning and printing charts.  However she sent them the would not print right.  Out of ink and paper.  Steve will not be pleased.   At 1:45 just as it started to rain we went down to the ice cream social.  What a rip off.  Very much less than best.  Brought Mike back to his house but had top by the house to get his key.  Finally got to gmdo some stitching.   Another run to the dog park and mail pick up.  More stitching.   Dinner was popcorn shrimp.  Cleanup and finally it was time for TV, cuddles and stitching.  Wendy lost her Dad. Good thing they went for a visit when they did.  Kim is  home from the hospital.  They have hospital set up for her in the rec room addition.   

July 18 , 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Another quiet day.  Really quiet since Steve is not speaking or barely speaking to me.  Guess cause he was not invited to the movies with Colleen and me.  Printed a bunch of patterns.   Emailed them to Colleen.  Then I emptied all the garbage. Cleaned one bathroom. Vaccuumed the house and sofa.  Finally it was time for the dog park run and lunch.   The stitching.  Dinner was  BBQ'ed chicken.  Cleanup. Finally it was time for TV, cuddles and stitching.   

July 17, 2022 Irchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

Got up late. Did laundry.  Folded clothes. Worked on the computer. Stitched til I was blue in the face. Too hot to BBQ.  Lazy day.  Dinner was frozen burritos.  TV time with Hazel.  Finished forget me nots.  About drove me crazy.  

July 16, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up about 7:30. Chores and breakfast. Run to dog park.  Stopped by the Fords . Lunch.  Stitched.  Valdez came by to drop off a key. Card Bingo.  Met Carolyn a new person for Citrus Heights. fun time but no bingo for me or Steve.  Home with the lightening storm. Finally time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

July 15, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up about 7:30.  Steve gave me the wordle.  Big mouth . Took my blood pressure.  It had sky rocketed.   152 over 97.  I panicked.   I called the care manager.  It finally came down. I made banana bread.  Then stitching.   Another warm day.   Dog park.  Stitching.  Went to an early dinner at Casa Perez with the Fords.  A quick run through at Walmart then home .  Finally time for TV, cuddles and stitching.   Ending blood pressure 130 over 76.  Guess I will have to quit eating the salty tortillas chips. 

July 14, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 I got up about 7:30. Steve didn't go to carving. He was busy ordering wood.  He took the dogs out and I had breakfast and did chores.  Then I started stitching.   I finished the Coneflowers.   Hard on my eyes. Steve worked till about noon. We got some pee spots out of the carpet.  It rained  or should I say poured for about an hour.  Couple of dog park runs.  Dinner was leftover chili relleno casserole. Finally it was time for TV, cuddles and stitching.   

July 13, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Steve got up at the crack of dawn I went back to bed till a respectful hour.  I finished scanning and emailing patterns.  Then stitching.  Steve worked till almost 1. Colleen came to get her flash drive. Then we went to office Max for glue sticks and rubber fingers.  We ended up ordering from Amazon.  Then Walmart.  We skipped Hobby Lobby since I wanted to browse.  Then home for more stitching.  Dog park and leftovers for dinner.  Cleanup. Finally it was time for TV, cuddles and stitching.   

June 12, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up about 7:30 and had a cup of coffee,  Judy across the street came over about 8 and caught me in my jammies. She talked and talked till 9:45.  She is my source for neighborhood gossip.  So nothing got done. I got ready to go to the activity meeting and pick up Colleen.   Then home.  Lunch.  I watched TV in the bedroom.   Then dog park and mail.  I finally connected with the neurologist.   Got an appointment for August 3rd.  Then did some copying  and scanning.  I made a chili relleno casserole and decided to invite the Fords for dinner.  Finally it was time for TV, cuddles and stitching. 

July 11, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 I got up at 7:30.  During my first cup of coffee Steve wanted my to help him bring in the ironing board cabinet.  Needless to say we waited til later.  I worked on projects in my sewi  ng room.  Dog park run and lunch. Steve came in as it was super hot today.  Then Steve decided to take over the room.  I sat and stitched till I needed in the room.  I set up the sewing machine and prepped aida cloth for vacation projects.  We took the dogs to the dp and picked up corn from Colleen.  Back home to BBQ pork steaks for dinner.  Rain on the way.  Finally was time for TV, cuddles and stitching. 

July 10, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Very relaxing day.  I worked in the sewing room till Colleen and Mike came over. They visited about an hour.  Colleen shared some on Mike's medical status.  They are looking for a spot on his pancreas.  Hopefully  just a shadow. Mike  worked with Steve on intarsia.  Once they left we made a trip to the dog park.  I stitched most of the day.  Very hot outside.  Early dinner of more left overs.  Cleanup.  Short sit on the porch.  Finally  it was time for TV, cuddles and  stitching.   

July 9 , 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 I was able to sleep until 7:30.  Steve worked  on intarsia I did some stitching.  Went to dog park then went to get our pedicures.  Then Walmart and Safeway.  Shelves were getting bare.  Came home and put stuff away.  More stitching more dog park. Quick dinner of left overs then picked up Colleen for card Bingo. Home by 9 for TV, cuddles and stitching.   

July 8, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up really early.   I went into lay in the bed and it wa already made.  So I got up.  Steve worked on intarsia.  I worked in the sewing room but I put the table in backwards. At 10 the Fords picked us up and we went to see the movie Elvis.  It was ok but I already knew it was going to be a sad ending. He died of a heart attack and full of all kinds of drugs. Good acting all around. Tom Hanks was great.  Then we went into Prescott to eat at Dees BBQ but I was not a big fan.  Too spicy for me.  We came home and kicked back for the rest of the day . I stitched.  2 runs to the dog park.   Finally it wad time for TV, cuddles and stitching.  

July 7, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Today was a day  recuperat. We got up way too early. Breakfast  and  chores.  Steve went to carving.   I did a little cleaning.  Steve came home way too early.   I scanned lots of patterns.   We took the clean linens to the trailer and made the bed.  Two dog park runs. We had pot pies for dinner.  I finished stitching Lavender seeds.   We rested steve just about finished the puzzle.  Finally it was time for TV,  cuddles and stitching. 

July 6, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 They are back home.  We are home alone.  We were up and out the door by 8:30.  We dropped them at the airport.we stopped at the cell phone lot and used their bathroom.  The wood store Steve likes.  Then a quick stop for a Subway sandwich.   We stopped at Walmart to pickup prescriptions for Steve. Finally home .  Off to the dog park for an hour visit with the Fords.  Back at the house I started laundry.   I scanned some patterns and worked on organizing them.  Dinner was shrimp.  Then another trip to the dog park. Finally after folding clothes it was time for TV, cuddles and stitching.    Alone time.

July 5, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Well if I had stayed with Ed this would have been our 47th Anniversary.   We got leisurely and had breakfast.   Then we we off at 9 for a new adventure.   We stopped at the Dewey Post Office and I got my packages.  Then we headed to Sedona. Jerry and Sheila  did some shopping in Sedona.  Then we drove up thru Flagstaff and came back to Montezuma's Castle Jerry and Sheila walked out to the castle ascot was 97 degrees out.  Then we headed home.  At 4:30 we went and got gas and had a wonderful dinner at Lefty's.   Then we checked out historic Dewey.   Then home to relax.  Tomorrow we head to the airport.   Yay.   

July 4, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We had a wonderful 4th of July.  We got up at the crack of dawn to get in line at the cart parade at the pickle ball court at the north side.  There were almost 20 carts all decorated up.  Er rode up and down the streets for the next two hours.  There were a lot of people on their porches to cheer us on.  We finished up about 9:30.  Came home where the guys had a pizza snack.  Then down to the round house for hot dogs and music.   We relaxed and some napped.  Then we drove to Chino Valley to pick up a table to sit by the front door. Then we went over to visit Ralph and Wendy . Home to BBQ steaks. We have just one day left then the trip to the airport.   Finally after cleanup it was time to stitch.  Looking forward to some downtime.  

July 3, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Just 2 days before we head to the airport.   My husband is a first class asshole.  Especially if he doesn't get his way.  We got up late which was nice.  Had a nice breakfast of sausage and french toast which Steve was unimpressed.   I did laundry. Took the dogs to dog park.  I cleaned up the kitchen.  Sheila and Jerry worked on the puzzle.  We took a short ride to Lynx lake.  Ice Cream at Culver's.   Back home to fix strawberries and finish laundry.   Fords met us at Canton Dragon for a nice dinner.  Home for more puzzling and stitching.  I am done with visiting with the Stickney's.   Steve went to bed at 9:30 I am finally alone.  No cuddling tonight.  

July 2, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up. Since Steve didn't want to go to the grocery store we had pancakes instead of French toast. Cleanup and chores.  Steve takes out his frustration with Jerry on me.  We decided to go to see Tuzigoot.   We ccx endedvup going through Jerome as well.  We checked outvBlazing M Ranch.  We were home by 2.  Got milk.  I made ribs in the instapot.   We ate early so we could play card Bingo. Steve won 1 hand. Another day  over with. Able to start a new cross stitch project. Three whole days left.  

July 1, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 New month.  Day 4, 5 more to go.  Signs of wear on Steve.  We got up and I made bisquits and gravy.  We ate about 9ish.  We all got up late.  It poured this am. About 11 we decided to hit Fry's as they had rib eye steaks for 5.77 a pound.   They were huge Sheila paid for more than half of the groceries.  On the way to Fry's we discovered that we had a flat tire.  The normal person couldn"t fit us in so we went to another place after the grocery store.  Since there was a wait Stevevroughtvus home and we put away the groceries.  . Steve and jerry decided to  go get the tire fixed.  Sheila and I  made pecan candies. Yum.  Then Steve and I took the dogs and Sheila  was supposed to get the potatoes made.  When we returned she had divine nothing.  Finally we got the in the oven and dinber was good.  Steve BBQ'ed  tri- tip.  Yum. The sheilal and went to visit Judy and got a tell all about making card.  Home for ice cream stitching and finally bed.  .
