April 30, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 They are gone. They should be in LA and ready to board the plane back to Sacramento. Life can go back to normal.  We got up leisurely.  Breakfast and chores.  We went over to the trailer and broke down inside and out ready to take it over to Affinity tomorrow. Found out the truck is still leaking oil.   Stickney's got packed up and ready to go. Then we decided to play a game of Five Crowns. We went to Left-T's for a late lunch. It was really good.  Came back to get the dogs and their luggage which was in the trailer.   Then off to Phoenix to the airport.  3 hours round trip.  Fill up with gas and another run through the car wash was in order.  Came home hit the dog park put away the dishes in the dishwasher fed the dogs brushed their teeth and made coffee. Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.  Stitched for about 45 minutes.   Haven't stitched for about 4 days. 

April 29 , 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We were up early for the car show in the park.  I sold raffle tickets for the 50/50 and waters and sodas. Steve and I took a break and pottied the dogs and ate a quick burger we were done by 2. Then the four of us played  5 crowns while the tri-tip cooked.  Dinner. Sat on the porch. Then ice cream and TV the rest of night.  They leave tomorrow.   We take them to the airport about three. We should be home by 7.  Yeah.

April 28, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

We got up early and out of the house by 9. Breakfast and chores. Dropped the banana bread at Patti's.  Picked up Stickney's at the trailer.  Had breakfast at Mama's in Dewey. It was ok.  Then we headed to Wickenburg.  We stopped at the hotshots. We visited the pioneer cemetery in Congress. Then on to North Ranch.  A quick tour then on to main streetWickenburg.  Stopped at Tractor Supply before heading home. On the way back to Congress there was a bad accident where we saw the helicopter Life Flight coming to pick someone up.  We decided to turn around and go around to accident.  We headed home through Skull Valley. Stopped at Costco for gas and meat.  Of course the car wash and  dog park.  A quick stop at home to feed the dogs . Then onto the Asian Bistro for dinner Witherspoon the Fords.   Steve and Jerry stopped at Cal Ranch then home.  Took the Stickney's to the trailer.   Finally it was time for TV and cuddles. 

April 27, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up early and had coffee. Took the dogs and got Stickney's.  Had muffins for breakfast.  Then we all jumped in the car and headed over to Cottonwood and DeadHorse park.  Then Jerome State Park.  Stickney went inside.  Then we drove over to old Prescott and sat in the park while the Stickney's did a little shopping.  Then home to Simt on the Fords porch and yak with them. Back to cook the lasagna finally.   Cards with Sheila.then we cut up the banana bread.  Watched the last of a movie Finding Forester.   Then it was time to start the bedtime routine. 

April 26, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 I slept in til 8. A cup of coffee and the wordle and ut was time to get the Stickney's.  We had a nice breakfast of French toast bacon and scrambled eggs.  We cleaned up the mess and we were off to Kohl's then onto Jerome.  We walked around Jerome. It was kind of disappointing.  The stores were not what I expected.  Then we hiked up to the haunted burger.  It was ok but I would not make a special trip up there for a burger.  Came home and Jerry and Steve took the dog sti the dog park while Sheila and I played 5 crowns.  We snacked for dinner. Watched a movie and we got them back to the rig about 9.  I did get a small amount of stitching done.  The routine has been smashed to smithereens.   

April 25, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up at 7 and had coffee. We picked the Stickneys up at 9 at the trailer.  We got the car washed and went to breakfast at Jen's.  Then a stop at Safeway for pick up pogey bait and a few essentials.  Put the groceries away. Sheila and I played five crowns while Steve and Jerry potted my geraniums.  Then we sat on the porch for awhile and decided to go to tractor supply.  Then a search for Watson Lake and the pronghorn.  We checked out watson Lake and fount the pronghorn close to the road on Valley.   Then Casa Perez for dinner followed by a search for the big houses on the mountain ensued.  We dropped them off at 7:30 and came home.  Love having them in the trailer.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

April 24, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up before 7.  Steve was ready to go get the trailer at. I was working on a 9 am start time. So he has been sulking all day.  We finally went and got the trailer about 9:30.  We got the trailer in its spot and went in to find the shower head broken. Steve went  to  get another at Home depot.  I cleaned while he was gone. We finished up about 1.  Then home for lunch. Fords came over.  We left about 4. We got to the cell phone lot about 20 minutes before they arrived.  Of course  Steve had to make a couple of loops before we found the right food and the Stickney's.   Dinner at the Texas Roadhouse.   My steak was was 1/3 fat.  Then we hit the road home.  We got back here about 9.  Explained to them how to work the trailer.  Finally home for TV and cuddles 

April 23, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up earlt and had breakfast and did chores.  We had a few errands in the storage area.  Stopped at the trailer.  Steve finished up his intarsia.  I got in a little stitching.  We made sure the trailer was ready for moving it tomorrow.   Eve texted and asked us if we wanted to go to dinner. So we decided to go to home depot and wash the truck. There were too many in line at the self served wash to we went straight to Home Depot. Then came home and picked up Burczyks.  We had pizza at Tailgaters.   Then they came back and played a quick game of Five Crowns.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

April 22, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Well we got up about normal time. Breakfast and chores. Steve worked on his intarsia. I started stitching.  Then he decided on a motorcycle ride. I stayed home and stitched. Took the dogs.  Steve came home and finished his intarsia.  We took the dogs . Stopped at the Fords sat on the porch and chatted for awhile.  A quick dinner and if to card bingo.steve was upset that I took all his cookies to share.  As soon as we walked in the door he was taking several of the leftover cookies to be sure he got his share.  Incredible!  Finally it was time for some TV and cuddles. 

April 21, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

Not much to report. Got up and had breakfast.  Chores.  Got dressed. Made copies at the copy store.  Then I came home and started stitching.  Steve went to work till 6.  Two trips to the dog park.  Used the air fryer for the first time. Came out good.  Finally tho later than normal it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

April 20, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Well pretty quiet day.  We got up. I went to Book Club where we discussed the book for 5 minutes and everything else for the rest of the time. We broke up about 10:50.  Then dog park run.   Steve worked on intarsia.  At 3:30 he realized he had a text from Colleen asking him to come in.  He called all was well. The 15 minutes later someone else failed to come in so Steve went in.  So I stitched the rest of the day and got to a stopping place on the Village. On to a better project.  

April 19, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 This month is almost over.  We got up. I lingered over coffee and crosswords.  I finally got dressed.  Then stitching was done most of the day and night.  Still somewhat sore.steve worked on intarsia project tillbit was time for a late lunch and then he was off to work.   I got in a dog park run.  Finally it was tume to shower and off to bed.  

April 18, 2023 0rchard Ranch Home, 2023

 Got up around 7 after a good night sleep.  We had breakfast. Steve served me cinnamon toast.  Then got myself dressed.  Steve worked out in the carport intarsia. I stitched. Then we hit the road to the bank. We let the dogs pee at Lakeshore park. Took the car to the carwash. Then taco Bell for lunch. More stitching and Steve working outside. Visited with the Fords for 45 minutes. Steve mistakenly thought I was going to cook dinner so he snacked.  I was full.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.   

April 17, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Well today will live in infamy. I got my pacemaker put in.  We left home at 7 and arrived there after a few wrong turns about 8:45.  They got me registered then pre op. Finally the wheeled me in on time at 11.  They put me out and I woke up in recovery.   I was able to leave at 3.  It is a bit sore but I am keeping ice on it.   Then we headed home. We stopped at Cordes Lake for Subway sandwiches in Cordes Lake.  Then we hit Walmart for meds.  Finally we were home and I made a mad dash for the bathroom.   Finally it was time for TV and cuddles.

April 16, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up earlier than normal. Went to iHop for breakfast.  Very bad service. Adequate food.  Then car wash and atm. For some reason Steve's pin number wouldn't work and it sucked up his atm card.  Then Fry's and gas. Came home for laundry and stitching. Grilled a steak in the ninja. Turned out ok but would have been better on a real grill.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.  

Tomorrow is the day.  Will be glad to get it over with.  Still very stressed out.  I can get thru this.

April 15, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up much too early. We we at the yard sales by 8. We went to the dog park then brought the dogs back to the house. Then we were off.  It was ok but not as good as last year.  At 9 Eve texted and asked if we wanted to look at the sales together.  So we picked her up and we checked out the entire park.  We were done by 11:30.  Took the dogs to the dog park. Steve got ready for  work. Colleen wanted to go to Hobby Lobby for $4.00 worth of thread.  Then home.  I decided to make the last two loaves of banana bread.  Then surprisingly Colleen texted me that she wanted a ride with  me to Bingo. I told Terry and Eve that Colleen was sitting with us.  Turns out Christine wanted her to come since Alan was working.  It was a very awkward situation.  There wasn't room at the table for 5. I suppose she will go to Skipbo with her to make up for the cluster fuck. It was a mess.  Colleen is very controlling and manipulating.  Oh well. I came home took the dogs out and showered.  Then Steve came home early.   The the night time routine began.  

April 14, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Starting to get nervous.  Everything will be fine.  I trust in the Lord.   We got up. Breakfast and chores.  I made banana bread and will make a couple more before the car show. Steve worked outside until it was time for hime to go to work.  I stitched on the Nutcracker Village Christmas trees.  I will be glad when this project is over. Steve got home about 7.  Pot pies for dinner. I was too stressed to try the air fryer.  Yard sale tomorrow.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles. 

April 13, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up at normal time.  Breakfast and chores. Steve went to carving which he forgot about until I reminded him about it. I worked in the quilt room getting may mug ready. Then stitching.  He came home.  Lunch. Dog park runs. Very cold and windy today. I tracked down a part for the kitchen aid. I grilled brats on the new foodi.  Something happened to the garbage disposal.  He got pissed off. I suggest we might have the manual and he told me to get it. Then I told him to get it himself.  Then I went into the bedroom to watch TV, have cuddles and stitch. 

April 12, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up at normal time.  Breakfast and chores. Steve worked on intarsia.  I cleaned the sliding glass door. Then I washed all the railing down on the back ramp and and the entire porch. Better than it was.  Then I went to the activity meeting until I couldn't stand Helen's inability to run a meeting.   Short of taking over I had to leave.  Then we ran the dogs to the dog park.  Then Fords picked up up and we went to Canton Dragon for lunch. Steve was anxious to go to work at 3.  I did a dog park run.  Then stitching and TV for the rest of the day..finally finished the Fox.  Not much time for cuddles.  Another day in the park.  

April 11, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Another busy day.  We got up normal time.  I made Steve breakfast.  We did our chores.  Then we were off to the races.  We started at Bosa donuts before our coupon ran out. The Great clips for a hair cut.  A quick stop at Fry's.   Then over to the dog groomers to get the dog nails clipped. Home to unpack the groceries.  Dog park. Then Steve went and got a haircut.  He came home and worked on intarsia after a snack. We had late over spaghetti for dinner. My foodi came and so did bizarro Steve.  We were asked to go to lunch with the Fords. now I am getting dirty looks.  Oh well.  Life is good.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

April 10, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up and even before  coffee and breakfast I had laundry going.  4 loads washed dried and folded.  Finished putting things away for the party. Then I did some stitching. We went to the car show meeting in the roundhouse.  Dog park run. Steve took the cover off the cart and  washed it.  We returned borrowed items and Aaron the Fords porch for over an hour.  Last week before the pacemaker.  Dinner. Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

April 9, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up early and had our coffee.  I got to stitch for a couple of hours.  Colleen and Mike came over to bring table for the festivities.  I got the rolls ready.  We continued to prepare. Steve smoked the meat. We sat down to eat at 2.  There were 11 of us.  We had a good time. We played  left right center three times and people started to loosen up a bit.  They were gone by 5.  Then I finished cleaning up. Ran the dish washer.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.  A very nice Easter all in all. 

April 8, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Another jam packed day.  After some schedule changes we met the girls at Cracker Barrel.  They were in such a hurry this morning that they decided to visit Tractor Supply  first.  We had a nice visit at breakfast. Then they headed to the grand canyon.   We came home. I started stitching and planning for tomorrow's get together.   I made the pie. We stopped at Colleen's to get the meat.  Came home and I made the jello salad.  Dog park runs. We stopped to chat with Jim and Burczyks.   Fun fun.  Dinner was grilled cheese sandwiches.   Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.   

April 7, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Busy day today.  We got up and had coffee and a biscotti.  Gathered up all our stuff.  Then headed for the girls in Dewey Humboldt.   Had a great breakfast with everyone.  They were headed to see Out of Africa.  We returned home and I got back to stitching  and Steve got ready to smke the tri-tip.  At shortly after five we grabbed the tri-tip and headed back to the Airbnb.   We had a lovely dinner.  Played some cards.  We gathered up our things and headed home.  Breakfast in the morning at cracker barrel then they are off to the Grand Canyon then headed home.  We were going to Jerome but the sprinter van is not the thing to take on the road to Jerome.   Bingo was canceled so the will be less stressful.   Finally TV and cuddles before the go to bed routine begins. 

April 6, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 The girls and all the grandkids arrived! We go up early and did breakfast and chores.  We sputtered around the house and I stitched. Made the dessert for tomorrow's dinner.  They got here about 1:30 and came to the house. We followed them to the Airbnb.  Checked it out . Then we went to tractor supply and got gas.  Then at 5 we all met at Tailgaters for pizza.  That was fun. Then we went our separate ways. It was time for TV  cuddles and stitching.  Hazel did not join us.  

April 4, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up earlier than I wanted to. Dogs were up early.  I stitched after doing a couple of chores.  Steve gravitated from the puzzle table to the shed. Very cold out and windy. Couple of trips to the gmdog park.  Went grocery shopping hoping it would warm up some.  Dinner was not great but filled the void.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.  

April 3, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Goymtvup normal. I fixed breakfast for Steve.  Very Windy all day.  Steve wanted to go see if we could find the Airbnb  but came to the same house as before.  Came home to stitch.  Steve hung out in the house until late afternoon.  Then sputtered around in the work shop.  Did a dog park run.  Left over spaghetti for dinner. Cleaned up and it was time for TV cuddles and stitching..

April 2, 2923 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up leisurely.  Breakfast and chores.  We sat out on the porch for awhile.  Steve worked intarsia for  most of the day . I stitched and did 3 loads of laundry.  We smoked a pork loin on the new BBQ.  Otherwise a quiet day at home.  We had an early dinner.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

April 1, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up about 7:15. Breakfast and chores.  Worked in the craft room to get April on the wall.the started to stitch.  Then Colleen came over and we chatted for almost 2 hours.  Went to dog park.  Tried to stitch again and Steve wanted me to help him on his intarsia board.  Another trip to the dog park. Quick dinner and off to card Bingo with Eve and Terry.  They both won but not us.  Home for some TV and cuddles.
