June 30, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Half the year is over. Half the grass is installed.  We got up at the crack of dawn. Steve decided to put the dishes away while I was trying to sleep.  Any Steve Mike and Ralph worked on getting the grass in till it got too hot.  The dog park. I started cutting out pieces for my quilt.  Slow process.  Some stitching. Visit with Mike and Colleen.  It was Kathy down the Street  103rd birthday party. It was very nice.  Then about 4 we left for Walmart to pick up a few things and a prescription  for Steve.  Chinese  for dinner. Then tractor.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.  A long conversation with David about Brita. Ugh

June 29, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home. Dewey AZ

 We got up breakfast and chores.  Steve went to carving.  I went to stuff popcorn into bags for Colleen.  Then home. When Steve got home we went to Alliance to get the turf. Big money.  Came back. I stitched.  Snacked. Steve went to get turf with the truck. Came back . Dinner. Leftovers.   Went movie night.  Long movie.  Came home bed. 

June 28, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 I drove Colleen and myself to  Hobby Lobby and back.  We survived.  Stevecwas not a happy camper. We got back about 11:30. Met Steve on the way to the dog park.  I think he sees my driving as a loss of control.  He seems like he is about ready to erupt.   Any he went to the dentist which took awhile. Then we were off to Alliance to get turf which they were out of.  Good thing we called ahead.  We went to check them out. They are changing suppliers.  Then the grocery store.  Took everything home and unloaded it.  Garbage had been picked up.  Over to the dog park and post office. Dinner. Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

June 27, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Another rushed morning.   Got up and had breakfast.   Paid hospital bill.  Steve and Mike went to Lowes but had to take Steve to the truck.  Someday I may get to enjoy my coffee.  They left and I worked in the quilt room selecting fabrics for my quilt project. Then started stitching.  Steve came home . Took the dogs.  Then Steve relaxed with game shows.  I air fried shrimp and tater tots for dinner. The Steve was off to work.  I took the dogs again and watched TV  til it was time to begin the bedtime regime.  I am finally done with Colleen. She has retreated to the acquaintance zone.

June 26, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up and Steve wanted breakfast so I fixed bacon eggs and french toast. Then I put a load of laundry in which included the bed linens. Steve went to work. I worked in the craft room mounting July and August. Then axtrip to the dog park.  Came back and made the bed.  Finally a second trip to the dog park and got the mail.  Dinner was a quickie.  Finallyvit was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

June 25, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We has a nice quiet day at home.  Steve worked outside while I did a few housekeeping chores in the house.  Laundry. Then Steve came in for game shows and I stitched. A quick visit to the Fords. Couple of dog park runs. We smoked a chuck roast. Eve and Terry dropped by for a minute while we were eating.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

June 24, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Notcalot to report today.  Got up. Breakfast and chores.  Steve worked outside for awhile while I had my coffee.  Then I took him over to storage to get the truck.  The whole park was outside doing one thing or the other.  Steve went to get dirt and sand. Dog park run. Then game shows and stitching.   We had an early dinner of hamburgers in the ninja. He was off to work.  I finished the night stitching.  Finalkybit was time to start the bedtime routine. No card bingo tonight.

June 23, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

Steve got up early and did all his chores. Then unilaterally decided that he was going to get bricks at Lowes. I got up and Steve wanted to leave in a half hour.  At 8.  1 cup of coffee which I drank on the way.  No breakfast. We did leave by 8.  Off to Lowes where Steve could not get what he wanted so he left in a huff. Thecwe stopped at Home Depot.  Where he left most of what he bought there.  I wanted to stop at Hobby Lobby.   Then home to drop off the dogs.   We changed shoes and went to our 10 minute pedicure.  Kind of a rip off.  Then back to Home Depot and Lowes which he forgave.  Back home to take the dogs.  Steve unloaded the car and I finally got to stitch.  We watched our game shows .  We got ready for the big dance. We went to the food truck for dinner. The sickly Fords were there getting dinner.  We ate in the round house while we waited for the dance to start.  Our neighbors who we hadn't met  yet sat by us only to discover we were neighbors.  We had a nice time including winning the 50-50 for $92.00. Finally came home. Walked the dogs.  Watched some TV. Had cuddles.  

June 22, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

We gotbup and had breakfast, chores. Steve headed to carving. When he canmme home we went and got the truck.  I drove home. Steve came after me and took the hitch out of the truck.  Then when we took the dogs to the dog park we parked the truck in storage.  Then home to piddle around till it was time for the second dog park run.  I stitched when I could.  Left over pizza for dinner.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

 

June 21, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up normal.  I stitched and texted Betty and Colleen.  Unfortunately Colleen and I are not as close as we once were.  She is just too controlling for me.  She can only be friends with one person at a time.. Steve worked out in the cargo trailer for a couple of hours then hung out till it was time to work. We had pot pies for an early dinner. Couplectripsctocthe dog park.  Steve came home and the night time routine commenced..  

June 20, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up normal time. Breakfast and chores. I stitched most of the day . Steve worked outside for an hour or so.  Then we watched game shows. We had an early Diner at Tailgaters.  Then home for TV cuddles and more stitching .

June 19, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We were up fairly early. Coffee and biscotti then I got the laundry going and we were off.  First Lowes. Then Hobby Lobby and finally Walmart.  A stop atbthe dog park. Then home to unload.   Finished the laundry.  Boiled some eggs.  Finally got some stitching done.  We had steak salads for dinner.  Cleanup. Finally it time for TV cuddles and stitching. Busy day.

June 18, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We had a really nice Father's day at home.  We got up about normal time and did chores. Steve wanted sausagecand eggs so that is what we had. I stitched most of the day and accomplished a lot.  We watched endless games and tennis matches.  Finally we took our final cart ride to the dog park. Then we BBQ'ED Steaks for dinner.  Finally I went to the bedroom for TV cuddles and stitching. 

June 17, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

Well today turned out to be a fun day.  We got up late. Coffee and chores.  Then at 9 we left for breakfast at Mama's in Dewey Humbolt. Then overvto the post office to mail a package.  Then a quick stop at Tractor for dog food. Steve bought a belt.  Came home and put on the belt and could not get it off.  It was simple once we read the directions.   So funny.  Then we did our dog runs.  We watched game shows and of course i stitched. We had grilled cheese early so we could play card bingo.  We sat with our neighbors the Valdez's.  Then home for some screen time and cuddles.

June 16, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

Not a lot to report today. Steve was disappointed that he didn't get the truck back as he needed it to work on the side yard. Hecwent down and helped Terry with his recliner. I did not get to go. I stitched most of the day.  A miracle did happen today Steve got up super early and was fairly quiet so I could continue to sleep.  He wanted scrambled eggs so I made that. We had left overs for dinner.  Dog park runs. A ho-hum day.  Steve came home shortly after 9 and visited started the bedtime routine.  

June 15, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up at the crack of dawn so Steve could work on the pavers. Breakfast and chores.  Steve worked till about 9:30.  I went  to book club where we actually talked about books this time.  Came home and took the dogs.  Fixed dinner.   Tater tots.  Steve went to work. I stitched.   Then I took the dogs.  Picked up the mail.  Visited with Eve and Terry.  Came home and fed the dogs. Stitched and waited for Steve to come home.  Time for bed.  

June 14, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ -

 Another busy day.  We were woken up early to the sound of hammering.   I thought Steve was out in the paver area working but it was the people getting a new roof down the street.  Steve worked out there while I did some cleaning jobs in the house.  Steve is losing steam on the job.  I don't think he has much left on the paver part.  Anyway I picked up  Colleen for the activity meeting.   The first half went well.  The second half did not go well and turned into a bitch session.  Then home for the dog park run and mailbox check.  I stitched the rest of the afternoon.   Another dog park run.  Dinner was brats in the ninja fryer.  Finally it was time for  TV cuddles and stitching. 

June 13, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We gotvup extra early so we could go pickup the truck and andvhave breakfast. We left about 8:15. Picked up the truck.  Then dropped it off at all American.  Then over to Jen's for a nice breakfast.  Then over to the grocery store.   Went to pay for the groceries and my credit card was declined.  So when we came home I called Citi Bank. Seems we had only $55 dollars before we were over our credit limit.  So Steve had 7k scheduled for payment on the 16th. He paid another 1k today to make sure any automatic payments would be covered.  I finished August mug and got ready for the next project.  Ran to the dentist for Steve's plate and dog park.  Fixed dinner. Decorated the cart for the 4th. Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.

June 12, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

Today was a very busy day.  Can't wait for Steve to go to work.  We got up had breakfast. I started the laundry. We took the cart over to pick up the truck in storage the brought it back here to load up the things that we needed to return at Lowes.  Then we waited for the AT&T guy to come and set up out mini.  The when he was done we took off for Lowes. Adter that we came home to finish up the laundry and have lunch.  I was trying to finish up my stitching project.  Another trip to the dog park. Dinner was left over spareribs.    Finally it  was time for TV stitching and cuddles.  

June 11, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up at the normal time but earlier than I would like.  Breakfast and and chores.  Steve worked outside on the papers which I might add is not in the least level. We took the dogs and ran into the Fords. She mentioned that they were making homemade ice cream.   I kind of invited ourselves to the final tasting.   I stitched off  and on  all day. At three we went over to the Fords.  They invited us to the neighborhood party on the 4th of July. I must say I was shocked shevinvited us.  We aren't really part of her neighborhood. Anyway we came home and did another dog park run. Came back for stitching and dinner.  Dinner was a bust.  Wrapped hot dogs with crescent rolls that got left in the car for two days.  We ended up eating just the hot dogs.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching 

June 10, 2923 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Today was Steve's 70th birthdays. Got up and fixed breakfast while he took birthday calls. Then I switched while we waited for the phone guy to show up  with out new phones.  He  was here  about an hour.  Then he left while our phones were being cloned.  We went to the dog park visited Teri and Eve, got some things out of storage dropped an ice chest off at Fords.  Came hone and the phone guy came back and finished up.  Did some additional tweaking on the phone.  Stitched.  Quick dinner before we picked up Eve for ccx and bingo. Steve won twice and I won once but had to split.  Then home and get ready for bed.

June 9, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We slept in late. Breakfast and chores. Steve went over to Terry/Bert to work on the Cart. About an hour later he called for me to bring the cart and the dog's so we could make a trip to Tractor for supplies.  They finally finished it about 1 pm.  Had to return a part to Amazon.  Stitched in between .  Steve worked outside for awhile. Then we did a dog park run. Fed the dogs made coffee. Went to Amazon car wash then over to Red Lobster for Steve's Birthday  dinner.  Back home and it was finally time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

June 7, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up and Steve decided that it was imperative that we return the item to CVS first thing this morning.   So off we went.  While we were there  Terry texted to set a time to work on the Cart. So at 10:30  Steve headed over to Bert's.  He was gone for a couple of hours.  They fried one of the parts. So we ordered a new one from Amazon.  They will try again.  I walked the dogs. We had pot pies early.  I stitched a lot off and on.  Then Colleen dropped by to leave some bags.  I went to the dog park and post box.  Then I dropped by Fords.  Chatted awhile.  I dead headed the geraniums and watered them.  Fed the dogs. Stitching.  Steve works til 9.  Then the bedtime routine begins.

June 6, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up and ready in a hurry this morning since the mobile RV guy was coming.  Steve met him at rig in Storage.  I got up and dressed.  Then stitched while he was doing the.  Lunch dog park and Steve was off to the podiatrists to get his in grown toenails fixed.  He ran a few errands then was home.  More stitching. Dog park run.  Then we were off to Walmart to get a foot bath.  Walgreens and CVS.  Then dinner. Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

  

June 5, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Today was a better day.  Got up breakfast and chores.  The I took care of some business calls. Renewed our licences.  Made some reservations for our trip.  Did the laundry.   Took the dogs to the dog park twice. Picked up the mail.  Watered the geraniums.  We had dinner at Gabby's Grill for Terry's birthday and thank for helping with his awning.  Bert was there. Then home for TV cuddles and stitching. 

June 4, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up late and Steve decided he wanted scrambled eggs for breakfast.  So that is what he got.  Chores . Steve decided that he didn't feel well enough to go to work.  So I stitched most of the day.  I worked in the quilt room knitting up the next project.  Steve sat on the couch most of the day.  Terry and Eve dropped by.  Two dog park runs.  We BBQ'ed hamburgers for dinner.  Of course since Steve felt bad he was an ass to me so the latter part of the day was very quiet.  He is in his 2 year old mode.  I did finish the Bear tho.  Finally I was able to escape into the bedroom for TV c-uddles and stitching.

 

June 3, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got about normal time. Breakfast and chores.  Steve worked outside for maybe an hour. I am very close to finishing my bear.  Then Steve came in and we made our ritual pilgrimage to the dog park.  Lunch and we were off to Home depot and  Fry's.  Came home and put groceries away.  Steve felt compelled to stop and help Lori out next door.  Then he claimed that he is not feeling well.   So he only wanted 1 taco for dinner.  I decided it wasn't worth  cutting everything up for 1 taco eeach. So I changed to  burrito for dinner. He only wanted 1. No cheese. So I made him one no cheese. Then he  decided to have another. Then changed his mind.  Had some fritos.  Decided he could make it to Bingo.  Had lots of snacks at Bingo.  Came home and had ice cream.  Not sure if he it trying to start a fight or what.  TV and cuddles to end the day.

June 2, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We were up bright and early this morning.  I prepared breakfast after coffee and biscotti.  They got here at the front of the park at 8:30 on the dot.  Steve was taking the dogs for a  taking the dogs to the front  dog park so that worked out well.  I made breakfast.   Cinnamon french toast  bacon and eggs.  Clean up.  Then we decided to take a tour of Prescott and Prescott Valley.   Came back and played two games of kings on the corner while the ribs smoked.  As usual they were done early.  Steve took the dogs to the dog park while I prepped the potatoes.   Then we ate and played one last game of Five Crowns.  Then we took the cart and showed them the way out of the park.  Then we stopped at Burczyks and chatted for awhile.   Too late to start stitching but was able to get a little TV  and cuddles in.  

June 1, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up normal.  Breakfast and chores. Glenda called and said they would be here about 10.  We hurried to get ready. I even got the bathroom floors mopped. I read while we waited.  The my got here about noon due to 99 being closed at Ashfork. We met them at the entrance to the north.  We got here and chatted. Caught up on family gossip. Played a game of Five crowns. Dinner at Left-t  they went to their hotel. We came home. Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.
