July 31, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 I got up around 7. We just had coffee. Steve picked up Mike to go get the cargo trailer. Half an hour later I got a frantic call from Steve to bring every key in the house and the WD 40. So off I went to bring the items. We found a key that would undo the locks.  They got started on remodel project in the trailer.  We ate bunch at 10. Biscuits and gravy.   Eggs and bacon.  Teri came just as we finished.  So I made him some more eggs. Then they finished up the project.  Colleen and Mike left. Terry and Steve finished up. I stitched.   At three thirty we did a dog park run.  Took the trailer back . Came home just before the rain started.  Dinner. TV and more stitching.   

July 30, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 I got up at 7:30. Breakfast. Started a load of laundry. Then we headedcto Safeway  but first we had to get the car washed. Unloaded. Steve left for work.  Spent a few minutes in the craft room. Then stitched the rest of the day.  Made a dog park run . Tried making reservations at thousand trails but ran into some snags.  Steve came home. Dinner on the late side. Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

July 29, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up at the crack of dawn. Made breakfast. Steve went to work at 8. I worked in the craftroom . Stitched. Steve was home by 2. Early dinner . Cards Bing. Steve and I each won  a bingo. Home chores and bedtime routine.   

July 28, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up about 7. Breakfast and chores. Steve decided that he didn't feel good enough to clean the truck.  I worked in the craft room.  Dog park run. Binge watched when calls the heart.  We had an early dinner so I could help Christine at the dance.  What a cluster fuck that was. Never again.  Then home for more when calls the heart and stitching.  Lots of knots. Very frustrating. 

July 27, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up normal  time. Breakfast and chores.  Steve went to carving.  I went in the craft room to  cut fabric. I stitched the rest of the day. At 4 we grabbed Judy and Mike andcwecere off to Lefty's.  Half of Orchard Ranch was there.  Who should walk in but Colleen and Mike Christine and Allen.  What a surprise.   Came home for an hour and took the dogs to the dog park.  Finally it was  time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

July 26, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Steve slept in late til almost 8. I was up at 7.  Breakfast and chores. Cutting in the craft room.  At 11 we wentbto the North side was suppose to be about working on the computer. Instead it was a sales pitch. Steve left for work at 3:30 after a meal of leftovers.  I stitched the rest of the day. Till it was almost time for him to come home. Ready to start bedtime routine. 

July 25, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

Fun day. Got up with help from Steve putting dishes away.  Then coffee dressed.  Colleen picked me up at 8:30.  We were off to the races.  Stopped at the copy store. Then Hobby Lobby where they don't carry Halloween decor. The dollar store.  The quilt store. Finally Safeway.  Came home and sat down to stitch. Steve decided he wanted to get out of the house.  So we took the cart over to storage. Got the truck.  Came home loaded the crates. Drove over to the see the fires near the fairgrounds.  Came back to do more shopping at Tractor.  Took the truck back to storage.   Then home to get ready for fajitas dinner with Eve and Terry. I cut up everything and Eve showed me how-to cook it.  It was OK but not my favorite.   She brought soapapilla for dessert.  Then we saw Mike and Colleen drive by. So I texted them to come join us. So they did . I made more nachos and they ate dinner with us. No games. Then we took a park jaunt in the cart.  Finally a few short minutes of TV and cuddles. 

July 24, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up rather late but we're off by 10 am to Costco. I Blew thru there and we were home before 11:30.  Put everything away.  Cut for awhile then cleaned up the craft room.  Then stitched for the rest of the day. Trip to the dog park and mail box.  We had lasagna for dinner.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

July 23, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up. Started laundry.  Did 3 loads which included the sheets. Steve wanted breakfast so he got eggs and sausage.  I went in the craft room for more cutting. Stevecwent to work. I stitched.  It looked like rain so I took the dogs to the dog park and checked the mail.  Wendy and Judy had our planning meeting. We agreed on a date.  Then dinner . Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.   Mingus mountain fire .

July 22, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got on the late side. We had left overs French toast for breakfast.  I worked on cutting up fabric. Steve went to work and I stitched most of the day.  I cleaned both bathrooms. A trip to the dog park. Steve got home at 5. We heated up some chilis Relleno casserole  for dinner.  We went to card Bingo. There were 14 tables or more.  Thundered and lightening and poured rain while we were playing.  Some TV and it was  for bedtime routine. 

July 21, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home

 We got up super early. Breakfast. We were supposed to leave at 8.  But Mr Grumpy wea ready at 7:30 so we left.  I got up early so I could enjoy my coffee but no it was not to be.  So I got the cold shoulder the rest of the morning.  We got to the grocery store. Tried to call Steve but phone was not cooperating. Steve left for work.  I worked in the craft room until he left.  Made a chili relleno casserole for dinner.  We had rain this afternoon.  Dog park and mail run then it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

July 20, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up breakfast and chores. Steve decided to go to carving. Colleen and I went to book club.  Then we loaded bags with popcorn for the movie tonight.  Then hone and dog park.  Mail. Came home and finished part 2 of the Evergreen SAL.  Quick dinner and off to outdoor movie.  Rather hot but got nicer as the sun went down.  Home for TV and bedtime routine.

July 19, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We gotvup and out of the house to go see mission Impossible with the Fords.  It was a very long movie.  Then a quick lunch at Firehouse Subs. Home and Steve was off to work . I stitched the rest of the day and on into the night. Trip to the mail box and dog park.  Will start bedtime routine.  Not sure Steve still loves his job.

July 18, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up early as Steve had to go to the dentist to get his uppers. Hopefully the repair works. I worked in the craft room for awhile.  Steve was able to do some carving on the dining room table.  Then I stitched. We waited for Randy from AT&T.  Once he left we went to the dog park and visited the Fords.  We decided to hit the movie theater tomorrow morning  to see mission impossible.   Twice in one week.  Then home for stitching and game shows. We had leftovers for dinner.  One last trip to the dog park. Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

July 17, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up early Sobieski could fix Steve his promised french toast breakfast. Then we took off for the theater to watch the newest Indiana Jones movie.  Time for him to retire.  Then came home to a huge monsoon storm which lasted most of the afternoon. The dogs didn't like the thunder and lightening.   I got some stitching done.  We met the Valdez's  for dinner at Colt's and watched the rain come down in buckets.  The roads were flooded in alot of places. Finally itcwasvtime for TV cuddles and stitching. 

July 16, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 I got up on the late side. Breakfast and chores.  Started cleaning up the craft room.  Organized my fabric as I put it away. Washed 2 loads of clothes. Ironed all my scrap pieces so I could cut them into smaller pieces.   Then took a break to finish September mug.  Then I vaccumed entire house. Dusted and mopped everything was not carpet.   After resting I ran down to the food truck to get us a surprise dessert.  Finally I was able to sit and stitch for 20 minutes till Steve came home.  Dinner was leftover brats and salad.  Then a quick trip to the dog park and home for TV  stitching and cuddles.  

July 15, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up. Breakfast and chores.  I started stitching thinking we were going to the show. We decided  to wait until Monday as it might be crowded today. 108 today.  The I worked in the craft room.  More stitching.  More craft room. 1 trip to the dog park. Card bingo with Eve and Terry. Home in time for more TV.  Fun time.  Steve was upset when I indicated that he was in my way.

July 14, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up late as I didn't get to bed until 2:30. The book we too good to stop reading.  Finished it!.  Breakfast and chores. We took off about 10 and stopped to make appointments for our haircuts.  Will have to come back about 1pm.  Went to Lenscrafters to have our glasses fixed. Yay.  Then home. Worked in the craft room for awhile. Lunch and dog park.  Then off to get our hairs cut.  Could barely find a parking spot.  Then home for stitching.  Wecwere supposed to go and listen to music in the Pavillion  but we only stayed 5 minutes.  Then back home for more stitching and start the bedtime routine.

July 13, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Go up about the same time. Breakfast and chores.  Steve was on the fence about carving but decided to go.  Glasses broke again.  So am making do with the mag eyes. Stitched this morning.  Then we went to the post office, picked up pills for Sophie at the vet and picked up salad stuff for dinner. Craftroom for awhile then steak salad for dinner. Steve went to work.  More stitching and TV.   Dog park around 7.  Bedtime routine. 

July 12, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up about the same time.  Breakfast and chores. Steve had Visa cards payment pms. I worked in the craftroom till it was timecto go to the activity meeting.  The meeting was short and sweet.  Then came home and stitched. Made a dog park run. More stitching then fixed an early dinner of brats. More tv and stitching.  Dog park run and a quick trip to post box.  Steve worked till about 9:30.  Then bedtime routine commenced.  

July 11, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up me on the late side.  Steve is feeling better but he was on the verge of starting a fight. We had breakfast.  Then I worked in the craft room  while waiting for Steve to decide he was ready to take the dogs to have their nails done. We stopped at a T-shirt shop,  a motorcycle shop and of course Tractor supply. Then home to give the dogs a bath and discover the sink was leaking. Fixed that. I went to get the mail and stopped to see Colleen. We had pot pies for dinner. Steve left for work. There is a God.  I sat in the bedroom and watched TV and stitched.  Waiting for Steve to come home and start the bedtime routine. 

 

July 10, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 I woke up at 6:30. Or the dogs woke me up at 6:30. They had to go potty bad.  Steve was still asleep. I took them out in my jammies. Turned on the coffee and fed the dogs before Steve got up.  He was still feeling poorly. I made burritos from leftovers.  Then I worked in the craft room.  Then we took off for the dentist.  She was happy with my teeth. We went to Safeway and we loaded up on stomach meds and ice cream.  Then home. We went to our separate corners. I stitched most of the afternoon.  Steve had soup and I made an egg and cheese sandwich.  Back to stitching. At seven we took our ride to the post box and dog park. Finished the day with TV cuddles and stitching. 

July 9, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

We got up and Steve was still having diarrhea. So we decided not to go to the movies. Instead I worked in the craft room for awhile. Then 3 loads of laundry.  Steve decided to camp  out in the front room. As normal he was moaning as long I was in earshot.  Besides I just could not watch another episode of cash cab or any other game show. So I went in the bedroom for the day.  We did a dog park run.  Grilled cheese for dinner.  Then another dog park run about 7.  Rode around the park stopping at Fords for a visit.  Then home for more TV cuddles and stitching.   Got a lot of stitching done tho.  

July 8, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up Shortly after 7. Coffee and chores and ready to hit the road for breakfast. We picked up LaWanda and Alan andcwent to Mama's for breakfast.  Then home and they were on the way.  We watched game shows till three. Then we headed to Fry's for the essentials.  Candy cookies and ice cream and a few other food items.  Then home for a quick dinner of leftover pizza.  Finally we were off to card bingo. I finally got a bingo.  Then home to watch some TV and begin the bedtime routine.

July 7, 2023 0rchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

We got up and had our coffee. Did our chores.  Then Steve took the cart to get LaWanda and Alan and their horrible dog Bugsy.  He is young and has a lot of energy. LaWanda got laundry started.  We did a dog park run.  Then we went to see a movie called Asteroid city.  Worst movie ever.  We will never get those two hours back.  Then another trip to Walmart.   Came home pottied the dogs.  Hung out and got started on dinner.  BBQ  salmon and steak.  Baked potatoes.  Veggies.  Cleaned up. Then we made a trip to the dog park and visited the neighborhood.   Came back and sat on the porch with LaWanda and gossiped.  The guys finally came out and we had ice cream.  Took them back to their rig. Returned for bedtime regime.  They leave tomorrow.   Thank the  Lord.  

July 6, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 What a crazy day.  We got up. Breakfast and chores. Steve went to work at 10:30. Colleen came for a visit just before Steve left for work. I stitched and watched TV. Alan and LaWanda got here about 3:30. They decided that they absolutely had to go to Walmart.  So I went with them. We got home just as Steve did so he came and got the groceries . I followed him home . We went out for dinner at the WZ. Steve put a nice dent in the car when he hit a rock next to their rig.  Came back here. LaWanda and I decided we needed to take the dogs to the dog park.  We stopped to pick up Bugsy at her rig. She put her phone and wallet on the console.  Off we went. The dogs  did their thing came home. No wallet.  So off we went to retrace our steps.  Steve and Alan came to see where we  were.  We finally found it right in their campsite. Whew.  Came back to the house to begin the nightly routine.  

July 5, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up early but not as early as the last few days. Breakfast and chores. Made the reservation for LaWanda at the office. Then I worked in the craft room cutting. I sat down and finished my God Bless America piece.  At 2 we went over to Casa Perz for late lunch early dinner with the Fords.  Then home and Steve was off to work. He was able to change his work schedule to accommodate the Rannals visit.  I worked in the craft room prepping some work to take with us on the trip.  Then TV and stitching.  I decided to take the girls to the dog park and deliver some mail.  Visitedvwith several people on the way.   Will begin the bedtime routine shortly. This would have been Ed and mine 48th Anniversary. 

July 4, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up at the crack of dawn. Got ready for the parade after a stop at the dog park we headed up to the north and got in line for the parade. We were really early so we waited around for the dog part to be over with. It was very hot. We drove around about 1 and half hours. We won second place in the cart decor.  Then we came home and hung out . I did some cutting and stitching.  A run to the dog park. Then we gathered up the ice cream and headed over to Colleen's for the social. Meet some really nice people.  We were there til 4 . We decided to go to Casa Perez for dinner. As we drove over there we noticed that there were no cars there. Then Colleen called and wanted to know if we wanted to out for dinner. I told her they were closed how about Lindo Mexico. They were also closed.  We settled on  Tailgaters. Had a nice dinner there. Then home. Alan and LaWanda called. They will be here in two days! Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

July 3, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up at the crack of dawn so Steve could make a Bosa Donut run. We had breakfast. I got the laundry and dish washer going. Steve put the final touches on the side yard. I did some cutting.  Just as I was ready to sit dow and stitching Steve decided we needed to get out of the house as he was getting cabin fever.  So we went to the tractor supply I Prescott.  Went to alliance. Then went to check out the Rodeo grounds. Then home.  Sat down to  stitch and the Fords showed up to put ice cream in the freezer. Then stitching and dog run. Dinner was frozen lasagna. Finallybit was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

July 2, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Quiet day at home.  Got up at 8ish. Coffee and chores while Steve finished up outside. Cut little squares for about an hour.  Then we did a dog park run. Finally stitching.  Went over to Fords to pick up bread.  Then air fried chicken thighs. Terry and Eve came by for about an hour. Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

July 1, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up fairly early.  Mike came over and helped Steve for a couple of hours. I cut fabric for an hour.  Then started stitching.  Mike left. Dog park run. The Colleen and Mike came over to measure the freezer. She made a point of telling me she made bread but I guess I am off the bread list as well.  Sick of it anyway.   More stitching.  Steve went to work. I went to make my donation at card bingo.  Came home and Steve came home. Bedtime routine ensued.
