 We got up about.  Breakfast chores.steve went outside about 8:30. Worked on some box to keep his BBQ tools in. Quit about 4. I got to watch TV and stitch all day. Afternoon cart ride. Dinner sucked we had some Chinese dumplings that we got at Trader Joe's on Nikki's recommendation.   More of the same the rest of the night.

May 30, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Woke up at 4 but was able to go back to sleep until 7.  Breakfast and chores. Steve was in a better mood today.  He wentvto carving. I worked on getting my threads stored and put away. That was after I ordered checks for Steve. As usual I was on the phone and he did all the talking.  He didn't get back from carving until 12. Lunch and off to Costco to pick up a few items and get his glasses. Then home.  Finally by 2:30 I was stitching.  Roast chicken for dinner.  Stitching and TV 📺  for the rest ofvthe night.

May 29, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 I was awake at 3:45 this morning to take Nikki to the airport.  No problem we were back home by 8:30. Went to Safeway to get Steve's prescription.  Home. As soon as we got here the trailer people called to saybthat it is ready.  So I got ready by 10.  I told Steve I was ready and he launched because unbeknownst to me he was trying tobtake a nap. We barely spoke the rest of the day.  We gotvthe trailer and got it parked. He had to go back and lock it.  I stitched and did TV.  Cart ride. I took a nap as well.  Dinner was left over spaghetti.   I think he is upset that Nikki left.  His baby girl.  Ugh.  Hope he is better tomorrow.  

May 28, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up about 7. Breakfast and  chores. At 9 we were

off to Tonto Natural Bridge . Once we got there we took a short hike to an view point then I waited while Steve and Nikki went to hike down to the bottom. Steve made it half way and came back.  Then off to Sedona for a quick look see.  Then home to have nice dinner at Lefty's.  Home to take the dogs and pick up the mail.  Visited with Eve and Terry.  Hone for TV and stitching. 

May 27, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up at a reasonable time.  I made scrambled eggs.  Cleaned up the mess.  Then I prepared  the berries for the potluck later in the afternoon.  Steve and Nikki carved while I stitched and watched TV.  At 2:00 we did a dog park ride. As  we  left  through dog park a lady in a Chevy Equinox plowed into a big rock.  Came home and Steve started cooking hamburgers for the party.  Tge party was nice but way too crowded.  About 35 people.  Nice to see everyone.   Then home by 5 for more TV and stitching.

May 26, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up late. Almost  Coffee  an chores. Then off to Zekes for breakfast.  Then off to see Prescott.  We dove over to Jerome.  Stopped  to see Colleen at Tractor.  Then home.  Chilled at the house the house. Cart tour with Nikki to see the park.  Finally irene's white spaghetti  for dinner.  TV and stitching for the rest of the night. 

May 25, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 I was up at tge crack of dawn. 6 am.  Got up at 7. Tried to be quiet and not wake up Steve. Breakfast and chores.  Started laundry 2 loads.  Then dusted and vacuumed.  Steve was outside most if the day.  Put out the bed for Nikki. All done nmby 10:30.  Stitching  and TV.   Nikki called to say her plane had been delayed and she would not be Landing till 9 pm. Ugh. Headed to the airport now. Ended up having dinner at Burger King.    What a dam

May 24, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Up before 7 again.   Breakfast and chores.  First up go get the trailer. They called it wasn't ready. Yay. So off to Harbor Freight then Home depot and Hobby Lobby. Finally Safeway.   Then home to unload. Steve is about to erupt.  Hope Nikki isn't here when the shit hits the fan.  Stitched for a couple of hours. Then the email comes about 4 that he has one paie of glasses ready. So I convinced him to go get them this afternoon so b I could do a few things around the house before we go get nikki.  This next few days should be interesting. 

May 23, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up just before 7. Breakfast and chores. Then Steve left for carving.  I cleaned the hallway bath.  Washed the rugs. Then stitching.  Steve came home and we went over to Valdez's for a play date with Riley.  Home for lunch.  Then more TV and stitching.  Afternoon cart ride.  Dinner of potstickers and rice made in the new rice cooker.  TV and stitching.  Finished the Pirate Snowman.  

May 22, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up late this morning.  I had breakfast  and did our normal chores.  Then I made the meatloaf and worked in the quilt room prepping some new projects and making room for Nikki's bed.  Then we washed the lights in the dining room . Steve hung the queen of the quilt room up. Then I stitched and Steve worked  outside on his intarsia.   I am almost finished with the pirate. On to something simple till nikki leaves.  Meatloaf was OK. A little salty but ok.  Normal afternoon cart ridge.  Finished the night with TV and stitching. 

May 21, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 I woke up at 4:30.  Eventually I was able to go back to sleep until 7.  Then breakfast and chores. I cleaned up the quilt room. Then stitching.  Someone came an extracted the bee swarm.  YAy. He took them away in a bag.  The office called to say that a white truck was parked in the wrong spot.  Oops. Went over spray and move the  truck.  Decided to go to taco Tuesday at plaza Bonita.   Very good. Then home for TV and stitching.

Got up just before7. Breakfast and chores. Steve worked outside.most of the day.  I stitched nd watched TV.   Steve must have had a problem with the intarsia since he was grumpy when he came home. Chicken thighs in the ninja.  Wendy came over to warn us about the bee swarm in Lori's yard.  Steve mellowed out somewhat

May 19, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Today was a day of rest kind of.  Nikki will be here in less than a week.  We got up at a reasonable hour. Breakfast and chores . Then laundry.  Dan called and bent my ear for 20 minutes.   Didn't get to stitch till almost 11. Steve worked in the storage area and sprayed the weeds.  Then he worked on intarsia and played with his new compressor.  We decided to go out for Pizza at Tailgaters.  Guess we need to find a new place for Pizza. Mediocre at best.  Home for more TV and stitching. 

May 18, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up early. Breakfast and chores. Then off to the garage sale.  Linda and Randy got here at 8.  Then we toured the park looking for treasures.  By noon we were pooped.  TV and stitching till it was time for the afternoon cart ride.   Fords dropped by to check out the electrical work.   Then we were offvto Bingo. We each won a whole one and Steve split a game 3 ways.  Then home for TV and stitching. .   

May 17, 2924, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Finally got to sleep in this morning.  We got  our carpet light in.  Breakfast and chores.  We hung around the house till Jeff arrived..  decided to go to Fry's  for chicken breasts they had on sale.  Steve went to get some paint. Then we were going to check out first source but they consolidated the store into Alliance.  Then Fry's and home.  Lunch. Then I made the chicken cordon bleus. And 4 slicers packages. Finally at 2 I started stitching.  We BBQed hamburgers which were grossly under cooked.  More stitching and TV to finish the night off.  

May 16, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home,

 We got up even earlier than yesterday  up around  6. Breakfast and chores.   Jeff came on schedule. Steve went to carving. I went to book club with Colleen.  As usual we spent 10 minutes on the book.  Then home and hung out until the survey meeting. It was a joke. Then home. Off to Safeway to get Steve's prescription and a car wash.  4:30 it cart ride time.  Then home for potstickers and rice. I thought they were better than the ones we were getting at sauced.  More stitching and TV  to fnish the night. 

May 15, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We were up early again. Hung out waiting for our doctors appointment.  Went there and got poked and prodded. Both of us objected when they wanted to give us an EKG. To no avail. We both decided to give this girl Riley a chance.  Looks like they  cleaned house. No familiar faces. Barbara is gone.  Health issues.   Then after we donated some blood we headed over to check on the trailer. Then home.  I boiled some eggs  for dinner salads. We snacked for lunch. Then Stitching  and TV  for the rest of the day.  Yummy steak salads for dinner.  

May 14, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 I woke up at 6 so I could get ready for our breakfast at backburner with the Fords. Coffee and chores. We left here about 8:40.  Terrible breakfast. Worst I have had there.  Then we parted company. Headed to the car wash. Then over to Walmart.  Finally Safeway. Spent a small fortune. Came home and put away the groceries . Then TV and stitching.  Cart ride and walk with dogs so Haze could poop.  Scrambled eggs for dinner. TV and stitching to close the night.  Steve is not in the best of moods.

May 13, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up at 7:30. Breakfast and chores. Steve worked out in the carport from about 8:30.  I got up and did some vacuuming.  Decided to go for a walk. Felt very noble. Then stitching.  Lunch. Steve went for a very short motorcycle putz.  Then back outside.  Cart ride. Met the Fords at the mailbox.  Decided to meet for breakfast tomorrow morning.   Chicken cordon bleu for dinner. Stitching and TV to finish the night. 

May 12, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Wevgot up early. Everybody all the kids called or texted Happy Mother's Day.  I made Steve breakfast.  Then got laundry started. 3 loads including the bed linens.  Then stitching.   Steve worked out on the carport most of the day.  Colleen brought me some cross stitch patterns. Nothing remarkable.  Then cart ride and a visit with the ever elusive  Burczyks.   Then home for leftovers.  More stitching and TV to finish the. night

May 11, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Interesting day.  Got up just before 7.  Breakfast and chores.  Scott picked up Steve at 9. Steve took him over to the Juvie facility down the street and Scott practiced driving the rid.  He was gone 5 hours!. I worked in the quilt room.  All finished with my chores in there. Lots of progress. Then Steve came home about 2. All his frustration with Scott got dumped on me.  He was being a real asshole.  He almost opted out of card bingo. He decided to go at the last minute. He won1 one.   So he was happy.  Then home for TV  and stitching.

May 10, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up about 7. Breakfast and chores. Steve worked outside I did stitching and TV inside.  About noon we went to see the Etzel's new place. Got the tour and got out.  Stopped at Tractor for round up and dog food supplies.  A quick stop at The maverick for milk. Then home for lunch . More TV and stitching.  Afternoon cart ride. Quick dinner of left overs and back to TV and stitching.  

May 9, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got breakfast and chores. Steve went to carving. I worked in the quilt room till almost noon. Steve was outside after carving.  Sophie licked everything in sight till she vomited twice. I was having a hell of a time. Then we went to Hobby Lobby so I could get a frame for my rooster.   We finally decided to check out Stoneridge and black Canyon road.  Then home. Sat down to stitch and Colleen and Mike dropped by for a visit. By then it was time to take the dogs.  Dinner was a Lasagna. The TV and stitching the rest of the night.

May 8, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up nor mally. Breakfast and chores. Then Steve and I headed out on errands. First the copy store. Then Hobby Lobby. Finally an hour at Costco while Steve bought new glasses.  Then home and back to stitching.   Finished the green house.  Far from perfect but done.  We BBQed a steak for dinner. Did a cart ride and visited along the way.  TV and stitching to finish off the night.

May 7, 2024 , Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up around 7. Steve went to Lens Crafters. The old frames he used broke and there is nothing they could do to fix it . Surprise surprise.  The could not put them in another frame and reshape the lenses.  So tomorrow we are off to Costco for  glasses and new frames.  I worked in the craftroom til Steve came home from Lenscrafters.   The I stitched til it was time to go to taco Tuesday at Plaza Bonita. Great time then back home for TV and stitching.

 I got up before 6.  Worked in the quilt room for a couple of minutes.  Then Stitching and TV.  Smdays are all quite similar.  2 cart rides. Visited a few people.  Jeanne Baker her granddaughter and Sister Ann cane by to meet the dogs. Leftover chicken for dinner.

May 5, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up at a quarter to 7! Breakfast and chores. 3 loads of laundry.  Stitching and TV.  Cold and windy and gray. Caet ride around noon. A quick dinner.  Steve watched two movies. Guess I have to learn to share as well.more TV and stitching to finish off the night.

May 4, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

Got up about 7. Breakfast and chores. Cleaned the refrigerator.  Steve worked outside for a little while.  Stitching and TV. Steve decided to get pot stickers for dinner.  Cart ride at noon with visiting. About three we went to sauced for the pot stickers.  Watched the Kentucky Derby.  Mystic Dan won.  Then card bingo. I won a regular Steve won the big pot.  He was happy.   Met the dog sitter.  Feel better about leaving them with her. Good day. 

May 3, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up super early. Steve and Scott Sampsell went fishing with Ralph and Wendy at Lynx Lake. Steve got skunked. He was not happy. I got most of the day to myself.   Worked in the craftcroom for awhile. Then stitching and TV till Steve came home. Steve moped around till about 8.  Dinner was leftover pork. More TV and stitching to finish the night.

 I got up at the crack of dawn.  Coffee and Cracker. The off to breakfast at Mama's.  Dropped off something at the RV place and some money. Then gas, bank, Sportsmen's warehouse,  harbor Freight.  Car wash and home. Then stitching and TV the rest of the day.  Chicken thighs in the ninja for dinner. Steve is preparing for his fishing trip.

 We got up about normal time. Breakfast and chores. Postponed the neurologist appointment.  Steve worked on putting on the new seat cover. I worked in the quilt room. Put up the May mug. We were going over to the trailer place. Decided to wait til tomorrow. Went to the financial planning meeting.  Came home for dinner, stitching and TV.
