 Got up about 7:30.  Breakfast chores crosswords.  Started stitching and TV.  Then off to get a haircut . Found a new great place.  Picked up copies at the copy store.  More stitching till it was time to do our afternoon cartride.  Then off to the Thai place for dinner with Sally Jo, Scott,  Lavay and Howard.   Home for more TV and stitching.  Steve's good friend Don Hulse in Pollack passed away in the ER this last weekend.

 I woke up at 6:30 and waited quietly for Steve to wake up. Breakfast and chores. Steve went out to carve and I stitched.  At 10:30 we jumped in the car to drop off our ballots.  Then a car wash, copy store, UPS store and finally the post office. Mailed Betty my copy of the Lighthouse.  Have to pick up stuff from the copy shop tomorrow.   Then hone to TV and stitching.   Olympics ad nauseum.   Now bedtime routine.

 I got up about 7:30. Breakfast chores ans crossword.  Then stitching for me and carving for Steve. Afternoon cartride ending at tge Fords. I guess Burczyks are on the A list now . We are not even on the list.  She couldn't wait to tell me they all went to Cottonwood. Then home to make pork steaks in the ninja.  What happened to BBQing?

  I woke up at 6:30 and got up.  Breakfast chores crosswords.  Then laundry was started.  Stitching and TV the rest of the day.  Afternoon cart ride.  Steve sharpened knives. Olympics ad nauseum.  Leftovers for dinner.  Boring day.

 I slept in late this morning.  Breakfast,  chores, crosswords. Stitching and TV the rest of  the day.  Card Bingo . Picked up Howard and Lavay.  Steve did some carving.  Leftovers for dinner.

 We got up about 7:30 when Steve came out and started making noises.  Breakfast,  chores,and crosswords.  Then some kitchen work. Boiled eggs for dinner. The TV and stitching.  Afternoon cart ride.  Steve's hearing went bad today. Otherwise same old same old.

July 25, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up around 7. Breakfast and chores. Then Stevecwas off to carving. I was watching TV and hoping for ac quiet day at home.  InsteadvSteve decided we should take the truck for a jaunt. So wectook our return from Amazon to the ups store.   Steve got his prescriptions from Safeway.  Then we did the loop to Jerome thru Cottonwood  and back home.  But we were not done.  We had to put the truck in storage.  Then he wanted to go get a walking stick from Frank and Sandie  Allen.  We sat and visited with them for an hour.  Finally a trip to the dog park and home.  Finally dinner and stitching.

 We both got up after 8.  Breakfast and chores.  Another quiet day at home although we did go to Safeway car wash and gas.  Threatened rain all day.  Left overs for dinner. Stitching puzzling and TV.  Stopped to visit Burczyks on the cart ride.

We got up about 7:30. Breakfast and chores.  I did crosswords and started stitching.   Steve puzzled.  Afternoon cart ride.  Left here at 3:30 to pick up Lavay and Howard. Then off to meet Wendy and Ralph at LA Brussa in Prescott.   Wonderful meal with friends. Dropped the Miller's off.   Came home and finished the hobbit house  finally.

 We got upxabout 7:30. Breakfast and chores.  Steve went to have is toes worked on.  We decided to go to LA Bruzza tomorrow with Lavay. Invited Judy and Mike. They couldn't make it so she invited us over for burgers with Wendy and Ralph. Colleen and Mike dropped by for a visit and brought pattern. We watched TV and stitched till 3. Afternoon cart ride.  Nice evening with friends.  Then home to prepare for bed.

 I woke up early but went back to sleep until 7:30. Breakfast and chores.  Laundry.  2 loads. Joyce came over to chat and see Steve's work.  Stitching and TV.  Went to Encanto Italian Grill for  Pizza and brought it home.  Rainy day today.

 We got up around 7:30. Breakfast and chores.  Stitching and TV  for me. Puzzles for Steve. Early dinner of chicken thighs. Cart ride with the dogs.  Card bingo. Took Lavay and Howard.  It was fun.  Then home for bedtime routine. Another hot day.

 We got up and had coffee and a biscuits.  Then out the door to pick up meds for Sophie. Then we stopped at the AT&T  store to find out about the internet.  That was a total waste of time . The breakfast sandwiches at Bosa's.   Back home to stitch and watch TV.  Afternoon cart ride. Steve finished a puzzle and started another.  Talked to the new neighbors down the street.ran into Eve.  Quick dinner and more TV and stitching. 

July 18, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Up at 6.  Breakfast and chores.  Steve went to carving about 8:30. I went to book club with Colleen.  Came home for lunch.  Then we fiddled with the fire alarms and getting them attached to the internet.  Finally it was time to do our cart ride. Dinner and clean up. Watched part of Trump's speech.  Stitching.

July 17, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 I got up before Steve at 6:30!.  Breakfast and chores.  TV and stitching  till it was time for Steve to go to the fire safety  luncheon.  He came home at 12:30. He went for the food. They came at 2 to sell us the system.   Of course Steve bought it.  All tied into the wifi.  They installed it.  Cart ride.  Came hone. Big storm About 6:15. Big hail. Dogs ran for cover.  Stitched and TV rest ofvthe night.  

July 16, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 I got up to one pissed off husband.  I knew something was wrong when he wen to bed and sure enough he was pissed off. According to him it was about the TV selections but what it was really about was taking the motorcycle on the trip. Which mind you is a month and a half away. Plus he has been cooped up in the house due to the extreme heat and monsoons.  Anyway I spent the morning making reservation for the trip.  Now I have to wait for the 17th of August to make reservations for Tahoe Valley.  Good that we are making use of our Thousand Trails membership.   I stitched this afternoon . At 3:30 we made our way over to Plaza Bonita for Taco Tuesday . Wendy and Ralph and Howard And Lavay met us there.  Home by 5:30 to do our afternoon cart ride. More stitching and TV to finish off the night.

July 15, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up super early so we could be at the dentist by 9.  Good report on hygiene but will need a couple of crowns.  Then we stopped at the Donut hole for a breakfast burrito.  Got bean and cheese so Steve ate it. Then off to tractor and Costco.   Home to unpack.  Finally got to stitch.  TV and horrible movies for the  rest of the night.

I got  about 7. Read and dozed till Steve woke up at 7:30 ish.  Breakfast chores crosswords and laundry.  We did some trip planning.  Mostly stitching as usual.  Hamburgers in the Ninja.  Heavy rain storm about 6:30.  Poured.  Another quiet day in the house.

We got up late this morning.   Another hot day. Breakfast and chores.  Stitched most of the day. Steve puzzled most of the day. Quick dinner. Card bingo. I won three bingos.  $31. 50!! Very exciting.   Otherwise another hot quiet day.

 We were up about 7:30.  Then off to Walmrt for shopping by 9. Home and put away everything by 10:45.  The off to the Senior Center for lunch.  Beer battered cod. It was OK.  Then home for TV and stitching.   Thunderstorms and rain about 8.

 Got up. Breakdmfast and chores.  Steve went to carving and I finishedvup in the quilt room. The TV and stitching the rest of the day. I made chicken enchiladas for dinner. Afternoon are cart ride.  Another hot quiet day.

 Another hot day at home.  Breakfast and chores. Spent the morning in the craft room finishing putting up my thread  into my stash.  Then lunch and stitching and TV thecrest of the day.  Made sausage cheese rolls for dinner.   Got really windy and over cast this evening.   Another quiet hot day.

 We got up leisurely.  Breakfast and chores. Crosswords. Worked on the thread inventory. Then started stitching on the Tree House.  Steve worked on the puzzle. At 4 we went kto Taco Tuesday.  Very laid back day. Still quite hot.  Car wash on the way back.  Finallt finished the tree house.  On to the hobbit house. More brown.  

July 8, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 106 today.  We got up breakfast and chores.  I got the laundry started.   Cleaned the kitchen.  Then worked on my thread inventory in the craftroom.  Then leftover pot stickers and rice for lunch.  Finally it was time to stitch and watch TV.  Hot cart ride to get mail and dog park.  More stitching and TV to finish the night. Good to get back to the routine.   

July 7, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 They are finally gone.  Back to real life.  We got going early to breakdown the trailer and put it back in storage.  It was fairly cool. We started at 8 and finished by 10.  The Stickney's helped.  The cart would not go when we were leaving. So Steve locked the gate on me. He took the luggage home and we put away the truck.  Got home and we were missing a package. So Steve and I went to look for it.  No luck. Then Jerry forgot something and found the package in the trailer.  Jerry packed the the item he was looking for but he left the flashlight on. I stitched.  Sheila watched TV and the guys worked on the puzzle.  Then I made pot stickers and rice and chicken and potatoes. More left overs.  We left here at 3:15 for the airport. Lots of travelers returning for the holiday weekend.  Dropped them off at 5 home by 6:30. Fed. The dogs and did a dog park run . Then TV and stitching for the rest of the night!!

July 6, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Today was a day of rest. Up about 6:30 ish. Got the Stickney's about 9. Muffins for breakfast.  Started stitching.  Sheila and I went to HL.  Came back and watched yet another movie. Over 100 degrees. Quick dinner of sliders.  The off to card bingo. Jerry won the big pot. 32.50.  Then home . Dog park run.  Sheila never shuts up.  They left fairly early to pack. Yay.  I can barely manage the urge to kill them both.

July 5, 2024,Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Well I survived Bearizona. 6,000 + steps..  we were up early .  Jeanne came right on schedule.  We had a wonderful breakfast at Jen's. Then we were off to William's.  We got there about 11 and did the drive thru first but most of the animals were taking a snooze.  Then off to the walking tour. It was pretty hot . But we saw some great animals.  Then we did another drive thru and saw more animals. A quick run thru William's.  Then home. Early dinner at Canton Dragon.  Then homecto recoup.  Very happy with Jeanne. Got on with the dogs.  A cart ride with Sheila about 7. Got some stitching in as well.

July 4, 2024 , Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 The urge to kill has returned with a vengeance.   We got up early again . Got up and out the door at 7:45. Quick stop at the dog park.  The picked up Jerry and Sheila.  Off to the parade which was great.  Then home and offf to Zeke's for brunch.  TV and stitching the rest of the day  along with awful movies.  Cart ride with Sheila to the dog park . BBQED steaks for dinner.  Can't wait for Sunday.   Steve is pissed off at Jerry so he takes it out on me.

 Long day but better than yesterday.  Not ready to kill anyone.  We were up early again. Out the door the door at 8:30. Picked up Stickney's at the trailer.  Then got gas and  headed to Bosa's for a breakfast sandwich.  Next we headed to Tonto Natural Bridge. I stayed in the car while they took a peek at the bridge.  Then over to Winslow to stand on the corner.  We met a nice storekeeper who invited the dogs in for water.  Then we headed over to Walnut canyon. Just East of Flagstaff.  Finally homecto drop off the dogs and  headed over to Casa Perez.  Home where shield did a load of laundry.  Cart ride to Post office and dog park. Movies to finish off the night.

July 2, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

It better be Sunday tomorrow or I am going to be convicted of murder. I was up early.  Breakfast and chores . Waited for Stickney's  picked them up at 9. Went to Zeks to find them closed on Tuesdays.  Then lynx cafe. Also closed.  Ended up at Jen's for a great breakfast.  Then off to Safeway.  Home to put everything away. We made the cheesecake and the dinner entree . Then played cards while Steve and Jerry watched violent movies.  Sheila and I  took the dogs.  Then we cooked the chicken dinner. Which came out raw.  Had to put them in microwave.   Sheila leaves everything out.  Drives me insane. I had to clean up the mess.  Watched another movie. More clean up.  More to do. Got a bit of stitching done. Ugh

Well things did not go exactly as planned.  Stickney's arrived early.  Fortunately I was up at 5:30 . We were on tge road by 7:10.  They were due  to land at 8:15. We flew down there on 4 wheels.  Picked them up. Stopped at McDonald's for a,quick breakfast.   Home by 10:30.  Checked in at the office.  Home to chill. Watched a movie called August Rush.  Then off to Bill's Grill for a wonderful lunch.  Home for more movies and naps . I got some stitching in.  Is it time for them to go home yet,?
