 We got up early, breakfast chores and hookup. On the road by 8:30. Drove 300 miles to Seaside.  Got here about 3.  Beautiful day. Couldn't stop peeing.  Don't know why. The Leaches are here staying in a condo. We will see them tomorrow.   Nice place. Very stressful ride

Sunday, September 29, 2024, Birch Bay TT, Blaine WA

 We got up about 7. Coffee and chores. Then off to downtown Blaine for breakfast. We ended up at Peach Arch  Cafe. Good food but rather expensive.  Went and got gas. Steve realized he left his jacket there. So back we went . Then back to the rig for football.  Afternoon cartride to the dog , stowed the cart and a few incidentals and we are ready to roll. Off to the Oregon coast!!

Saturday, September 28, 2024, Birch Bay TT, Blaine WA

 We got up about 8. Normal routine. Breakfast and chores.  About 10 i headed down to the laundry with 4 loads. Could only do two at a time. Took about 3 hours.  Then home. Held the ladder for Steve while he went up to secure the roof leak.  Then snack and finally stitching.   Overcast all day.  Afternoon cartride for the dogs. Made pork steaks and mashed potatoes for dinner.  

Friday, September 27, 2024, Birch Bay TT, Blaine WA

 Woke up at 5:30.  Sophie would not go back to sleep. Got up about 6:30. Decided to take a trip to Canada. Out of here about 8:30. Drove thru New Westminister, Vancouver and Burnaby. Drove to Whistler and back.  Beautiful country but was glad to be back in the states. Horrible traffic.  Kilos and dollar conversations were confusing.   Got back at 3:30. Took the dogs for a walk. Quick dinner and it is over for the night.

Thursday September 26, 2024, Birch Bay TT, Blaine WA

 Got up about 7:30. Breakfast and chores.  I did a little cleaning in the rig. Steve worked on the roof caulking. Then we jumped in the truck and headed to Lynden. First stop was Great Clips. Two hour wait. So off to tractor to get dog food. Back to Great Clips.  Finally Safeway.   Then home to unload.  Started to rain.  Snacks , Stitching  TV. Steve picked up a pizza while I was getting a haircut.  We are snug as bugs in the rig. 

   

Wednesday, September 25, 2024 Birch Bay TT, Blaine WA

 We gotvup late. Almost 8:30. Rained all Day. Stevecdid some painting.  Hazel finally pooped about 4. Steve wanted bacon and eggs so that's what he got. Hot Dogs in the ninja for dinner.  Discovered a leak in the roof where the Antenna is. Same old same old.

 Slept till almost 8:30. Breakfast and chores. Then did a loop around Blaine. Came home and made egg salad sandwiches. Then stitching and TV the rest of the day and night. Quiet Day at the rig.  Afternoon cartride with the dogs.

Monday September 23, 2024, Birch Bay TT, Blaine WA

 We got up about 7:30. Breakfast and chores.  Then we got everything ready to hit the road.  Stopped to dump. Then were on  the road by 11 as planned.  Drove 50 miles to Birch. Bay. Set up and sreaming by 1. Dog park ride about 3:30. Checked out the laundromat.  Back the rig by 4:15 for football and dinner.  

Sunday September 22, 2024, Mt Vernon TT, Bow WA

 Tonight is our last night here.  Last night was a busy night at the skagit Speedway. Right next door as the crow flies. Motors racing etc. At 10:50 we were treated to fireworks for 10 minutes.  Dogs did not like it.  Got up about 7:30. Breakfast and chores. Swept in the main cabin.  Then finally finished the Floating house.  3 weeks to do it. Tired of no internet.   Stitching and football the rest of the day.   Overcast and rainy all day. Afternoon cartride tovthe dog park.

Saturday, September 21, 2024, Mt Vernon TT, Bow WA

 I woke up about 5:30 but finally went back to sleep till 7:30. Breakfast and chores. Then out the door around 9:15. Took the exit for Chuckanut Drive. Stopped at Camping World. Then took Chuckanut Drive to the Fairhaven area of Bellingham. Then home . Stopped at a rest stop so we could all go pee and poop. Filled up with gas.  Hung out waiting for Dan to come about 3. BBQ'ED a tri-tip.  Chatted til about 6:30. He left and back to normal routine.  Forgot to feed the dogs till about 8:30.

Friday, September 20, 2024 , Mt Vernon TT, Bow WA

 We got up at tge crack of dawn. 6 am. Breakfast and coffee. Crosswords.  Then on the road by 8.  Dog park then headed to our Breakfast rendezvous.  Went to Brianna's cafe.  Unfortunately we ended up in Mill Creek.  We were supposed to be in Marysville with Dan.  We had to potty real bad so Dan came to us.  Nice breakfast.   Dan paid.  Then back to Marysville to see Ed in the nursing home. He looked horrendous.   I doubt he knew who I was.  So incredibly sad.  Then back to the rig after a stop over at Walmart.  Then TV and stitching.  Burgers in the ninja for dinner.Glad this week is about over.

Thursday, September 19, 2924, Mt Vernon TT, Bow WA

 I got up about 8. Foggy out. Out the door by 9. Stopped at the dog park.  Took the dogs treats to the dog park but they would not eat them there. Went to Anacortes and checked  out my old triplex. 6006 Parkside Dr.  At Skyline Marina. Saw the Anacortes downtown.  Then took D Avenue to Deception Pass Park and headed to Oak Harbor. Checked out the downtown there. Lots of changes everywhere.  Could nor find the house on Loerland Dr 1279. Changed all the  addresses.  Down Swantown to west beach Rd then over to Libby Rd back to 20. Then Admiral 's cove. Coupville and back to Oak Harbor.  Long drive. Lots od memories.  Farmhouse Inn is O'Donnell 's Irish Pub.  Back at the house we watched TV.  Cartride to the dog park.  Dinner was tacos.  Still can't  stream.   No current football game on Amazon.

Wednesday, September 18, 2024, Mt. Vernon TT, Bow WA

 We got up on the late side. About 8. Breakfast and chores.  We hung out around the house. Steve did a little carving and I tried to do a little stitching.  Cart ride to the dog park.   Dan arrived about 12:30. We had a nice visit. Went to the nearby Casino for an early dinner. Dan headed out and we went back to the trailer to take another do park cartride.  Then stitching and TV.  The internet here is very bad.  Hope it is better at the next place. We have really enjoyed streaming and miss our programs.r-

 We got up very early , breakfast and chores. We were on the road bt 8.  It was a very stressful drive. Slide went in no problem. It was about 300 miles. We stopped several times to potty and once for lunch.  We drove thru Seattle on 5. Sophie and Steve  were basket cases therefore so was I.  We arrived about 2. Found the park. If Steve would only listen to me. We ended up turning around in the Skagit speedway.   We only have 30 amp service. We got the satellite up and working. Streaming is sketchy.  Trip to the dog park. Then dinner football and stitching.

 Our last night here. Hopefully the slide goes in OK.  Spenr the day stitching and of course watching football.  Picked up stuff, put the cart in back and dumped. Heading  to Bow WA in the morning.. leftovers for dinner.  Quiet Day at the rig.

We got up about 8. Breakfast and chores. Then packed up the laundry and headed over to the laundromat.  4 huge loads later it was washed dried and folded. Then put it all away.  Lunch.  Finally time for TV and stitching.  Overcast off and on.  Cartride.  Dinner was hot dogs in the ninja.  Finally rain about 8.  One more day here and off to Bow WA. 

Friday, September 13, 2024 Mt Hood Village, Welches OR

 We both were up at 6:30.  Breakfast and chores. We hit the road about 8:30. Heading to the Gorge. Stopped at a produce stand near Odell and picked up some veggies.  Then off to the Dalles. No boats at the locks.  Stopped at Subway for lunch.  Yummy.  The turned around and came back. Stopped at the Thriftway for a few groceries.   Home by two.  TV and carving then cartride and dinner.more TV and stitching

 We got up late. Steve managed to leave the TV off till 8.  So considerate that one.  We stayed in the Campground all day. TV and stitching.  Couple of walks. Chicken cordon bleu for dinner. Football and stitching thexrest of the night. 

Wednesday September 11, 2024, Mt. Hood Village, Welches OR

 We got up about 7. Coffee and chores.  Rainy day here. We decided to go to Walmart as Stevexwas out of drinks and water for ice. We went to a mediocre breakfast at Black Bear Diner.  The Walmart. No more OR walmarts for me at least in the Portland area. It  was an abortion gone bad.  Then Camping World.  Then homecto unload.  Stitching and TV the rest of the day . Rained hard off and on.  Hopefully  we can stay close to home tomorrow. 

Tuesday September 10, 2024, Mt Hood Village, Welches OR

 Last night the one control went out. We finally goy it working not without lots of cussing. Then we got up. Breakfast and chores. Then we packed up, ready to leave Went to  leave and could not bring in the bedroom slide.  We were afraid that we would have to drive with the slide out. We stopped at the front of the park and was able to reset it somehow.  I had a meltdown and started crying which is very unlike me. I must have been super tired. Of course Steve was yelling at me as always.  But we got it in.  Trip to the dog park.  Then off to welches. Drove about 200 miles.  One potty stop, one gas stop.  Arrived here about two thirty.  75 degrees . Got set up.  Cartride.  Watched the debate.  Ridiculous.   Some stitching.  Nice to be situated for more than a day.

Monday September 9, 2024, Timber Valley SKP Park, Sutherlin OR

We got up at the crack of dawn. 6:30.  Packed up the trailer and readied to be worked on at Henderson's.  They were Johnny on the spot. Fixedvthe brakes.  Apparently AZ316 did not put the correct brake fluid in it.  All good now.  Sat in the lounge til about 11:30 reading and playing games.  When we left bizarro Steve arrived.  As usual I had to take the brunt of his bad mood.  Arrived here about 1:30. Did not understand hook.  Got Steve his football game on YouTube TV.  He calmed down somewhat.  Hopefully the trip will be more restful once we get to Welches.  Moving every night is so stressful and tiring.

 

Sunday September 9, 2024, Henderson Line Up, Grant's Pass OR

 We got up. Breakfast and chores. We leisurely got ready to leave. Left by about 10:45. Drove about 200 miles.  Stopped for a potty break and then lunch at Stevenson Park.  Gas in Medford. Then on to Henderson Line Up. Someone was parked near the building. So we parked across the street.  Got  all set up. Generator on, satellite ready, game on.  Knock on tge door telling us every one had to switch places.  So we quickly moved into place.  Hooked up electricity and reset everything up.  Hot here.  Dinner, some stitching and football.   Anxious to get to welches and start having fun.

Saturday, September 7 2024 Juniper Reservoir RV Park, Lakeview OR

 I got up about 7:30. Breakfast and chores.   Steve went out to carve. I cleaned the main cabin. Swept and mopped.   Steve came in to watch TV . Then we hiked to the dog park.  Then more TV and stitching.  At 4 Steve decided he was going to do a hike.  Then at 5 he decided that we should take a drive on the ranch loop road.  Then into the town to fuel up. Late dinner.tv and stitching. 

Friday, September 6, 2024, Juniper Reservoir RV Park Lakeview OR k

 We were up about 6:30.  Breakfast and chores. Then pack up and left by 8am.  Long drive  about 350 miles.  We stopped for gas in Fallon and again in Janesville.  Then at a rest stop at Honey Lake.  Arrived here about 4.  Beautiful park out in the middle of a cow field.  Rained about 5:30. Quick dinner. Football and stitching the rest of the evening..

Thursday, September 5, 2024, Whiskey Flats RV, Hawthorne NV

 We were up early. Breakfast,  chores pack up and leave. Hot when we hooked up. Out tge gate by 8 ish.  Stopped in Tonopah for gas and found a rest stop by the Visitors Center. Thet had a dog park.   Arrived here about 1:30. We did not unhook.  Leveled as best we could.  Spent another hour getting Paramount installed.  Should be all set.  Except for espn.  Then TV and stitching the rest of the night.  Getting routines back in place.  Off to Lakeview tomorrow. 

Wednesday, September 4, 2024 Preferred RV, Parhump NV

 I got up at 6:30. Breakfast and chores.  We finished loading the trailer. Sweat running off my face. We left at 8:30. Drove 312 miles to parhump.  Arrived about 2:30. Hotter than he'll. Running so much stuff we kept popping breakers.  Of course getting the TV working was a priority.  Hot dogs in the ninja.  Off to the shower.

Tuesday September 3, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up had breakfastand chores. Crosswords.  Miscellaneous packing. Waited for the garbage man to come to clear the way for the trailer.  They came about 1:30. At two Steve called in the pizza order. Went to get pizza. Left Papa Murphy just as school was getting out. Tons of busses and kids. Steve turned the wrong way right into the thick of things.  Then home got the cart. Dog park ride. Mail closed.  Then home to drop off dogs. Wentvto the trailer. Packed it up.  Then off to bring the trailer here.  Dragged bags and clothes out to the trailer.  Sweated like a stuck pig.  Steve decided to turn on thecair conditioner. Blew all kind of circuit brakes.  Got that fixed.  More packing and  toting. The cooked the pizza. Another cart ride to get the mail.  Talked to all kinds of people. The home for some last minute stitching.  Ready to put the food in and leave.

Monday September 2, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up about7:30. Breakfast chores and crosswords.  Then I started laundry. We took a load of stuff over to the trailer.   Then TV stitching . Went out with  Howard and Lavay to Colts for our anniversary. Will miss them when they leave.   About ready to hit the road.   For some reason not really excited to leave. Will miss all our friends here.

Sunday September 1, 2024, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 First day of a new month.  We go up had breakfast and did chores. I washed both dogs, beds and bedding.  Steve decided that we needed to check out bowling balls at the pro shop and shoes and  bags. Talked to the manager. Checked out the firing range . As well.  Then checked out the bowling balls  in Prescott.   Stitching.  Finished laundry.   Made bed. Afternoon cartride.  Made a steak in the ninja.  Nice day.
