Tuesday September 30, 2025, Riverwalk RV Park, Fortuna CA

 I got woke up with Sreve talking to Johnny Johnson just after 7 am.  Coffee and crackers. Chores and crosswords.  Then we were off to meet the Stickney's for breakfast at Hot Brew. They were closed . So we met them at L's Kitchen. Nice breakfast.  Then over to Safeway.  Then home.  Rained.  TV and stitching the rest of the day.  Leftover spaghetti for dinner.  

Monday September 29, 2025 , Riverwalk RV Park, Fortuna CA

 we got up on the late side 8:15! Breakfast chores and crosswords.  Got Dressed about 10. Boiled some eggs.  Rained quite a bit.  Finally about 11:30 got some stitching in.  Steve decided  we should take a ride to Ferndale andcget gas at Bear River. Cleared up in the afternoon.  Caught up on football.  Made egg salad.  Grilled cheese for dinner.  Football and stitching for the rest of the night. 

Sunday September 28, 2025, Riverwalk RV Park, Fortuna CA

 We were up bright and early. The dogs were making weird noises. Up shortly after 6. Breakfast chores and crosswords.  Some stitching before we went to the Weott kids reunion which was paired with the Southfork 50th reunion.  So I knew even less people.  Of course told the same stories he has been telling fot the last 26 years.  I think I can tell them just as well.  We got there about 11 and left about. 2:30. Nice picnic potluck.  Then we headed down the avenue and stopped at the Cathy's for yet another visit.  Then home. Gotvin a few stitches walked the dogs. Then dinner with the Stickney's at the Hunan in Fortuna.   Home around 6:30 for more football and stitching. 

Saturday September 27, 2025, Riverwalk RV Park, Fortuna CA

 We gotvup about 7:15, breakfast chores and crosswords.  Then we got ready and went to tractor.  Steve forgot his phone and I forgot my hearing aids so we headed right back to tge trailer.  Then Safeway in Eureka.  Home by 11. Johnny came about noon and stayed till 2:30.  Very upset about Mary ' diagnosis.  As are we all. Then TV stitching.  Made chicken cordon bleu in the ninja.  Not bad.  Ready to leave here for sure.

Friday September 26, 2025, Riverwalk RV Park, Fortuna CA

 We gotvup at a reasonable hour. Breakfast chores and crosswords. Then we hung around the rig till it was time to go next up with Tammy Byrd at noon.  She followed us to Carl's. Got there about one.  Cool place. Sat there for 2 hours and Steve caught up on lots of old time friends.  I sat there quietly as I did not know any of the people they were talking about. We left about 3.  Home after 4. Dinner and TV. Very upset with Sheila.  We are over.

Thursday September 25, 2025, Riverwalk RV Park, Fortuna CA

 We got about 7, Steve of course was up earlier.   Breakfast chores and prepare to leave. Left here at 8:30.  Met Stickney's and Thode's at Cutten Chalet.   Nice breakfast.  Then off to the Blue Ox so Steve could see Mel Bird stuff.  I waited outside with the dogs.  Then we went to Safeway and Costco  and got gas.  Home to put it all away and the collapse.  Football and stitching the rest of the day. Finished page one of  Bookworm girl.

Wednesday, September 24, 2025, Riverwalk RV Park, Fortuna CA

 Up at 6:30 , breakfast chores and crossword.  Then we prepared to leave and were on the road for 186 miles.  We stopped theee times to go potty.  I think the truck vibrations caused my bladder to be over active.  We arrived at 2ish. We got set and tried to take care of  some business matters re streaming channels. Then at  we met Jerry and shield at Eel river for my fish and chips.  Then home for some TV and stitching. 

Tuesday September 23, 2025, Port Orford RV Village, Port Orford OR

Last night on the Oregon Coast. Got up at 8:30.  Wow. Was up about 4:30.. finally went back to sleep. Breakfast chores and crosswords.  Then laundry,  5 loads.  Finished up about 12:30.  The a quick lunch before we put the bike in.  Then TV and stitching the rest of the day and night.  Off to Fortuna in the morning. 

Monday September 22, 2025, Port Orford RV Village, Port Orford OR

 Slept in to almost 8.  Breakfast crosswords and chores.  Steve decided we should take a ride so we went to Cape Blanco and discard tour of the state park camping area.  Went to town to get gas.  Had left overs for lunch. Then stitching and TV.  Football later at 5.  Very relaxing day.

Sunday September 21, 2025, Port Orford RV Village, Port Orford OR

We gotvup about 7. Breakfast chores and a large crossword.  Watched football all day.  Getting rather boring here.  Too long of a visit.  Rained all morning then the sun came out.  Stitched while the games were on.  We were supposed to have fish and chips at the Crazy Norwegian but despite having hours posted on the window they were closed.   Tried a couple of other places but they were also closed.  Came home and made bacon and eggs. It was good.  More football and stitching.   

 

Saturday September 20, 2025, Port Orford RV Village, Port Orford OR

 Steve got us up about 6:30. Breakfast chores and crosswords. Thenvwe jumped in the car and drove to Gold Beach from Breakfast with the Dammel's at double D's.  Stopped at McKay market for Steve's drinks.  We then headed home. Steve worked outside for a couple of hours.  I got to watch Murdoch mysteries.   Then stitching and TV for the rest of the day.  

Friday September 19, 2025, Port Orford RV Village, Port Orford OR

 I got up at 7:15. Steve had been up since 4:30 watching videos on the slide. Had breakfast chores and a crossword.  Then Steve and I tried to get the slide working. After much ado he got it all the way in.  We took everything out of the closets and rearranged   so we could get to it with the slide in. Folded all his shirts. Put stuff under the bed. At least it is all done before the day we leave.  Steve went on a motorcycle ride.  I stitched,  watched TV and walked the dogs.  He was in a foul mood the rest of the day.  Till dinner.  We had spaghetti and salad for dinner.  Wentvto Ray's to get a few things and drinks. I was ready to pack up and go home.  TV and stitching the rest of the day.

Thursday September 18, 2025, Port Orford RV Village. Port Orford OR

 I woke up about 5:45 and finally got up about 6:45.  Steve woke by then. Breakfast chores and crosswords.  Took a ride to check out Port Orford and look for blue whales at Battle Rock.  Home by 10:30. Steve took the motorcycle out and I started stitching.  TV and stitching the rest of the day. About 4:30 steve went and got a pizza for dinner. Too spicy for me.  I walked the dogs. Hazel is pretty much back to normal.   Football and more stitching.  We are probably going to put the clothes on the bed and once the slide is in leave it closed for the rest of the trip. 

Wednesday September 17, 2025, Port Orford RV Village, Port Orford OR

 We got up about 7:30.  Breakfast chores and a crossword.  We got ready to pick up our marbles and head down the road.  We drove about 122 miles stopping once. We arrived about 1:15 . Got set up and barely got the bed slide out.  Walked the dogs. Stitched.  Fixed dinner. Beautiful day out.   Still a nice park.  

Tuesday September 16, 2025, Seven Feathers RV Resort, Canyonville, OR

 I  did not get up until 7:45. Stevecwasvstill asleep. Told him it was 8 . We had coffee and took the dogs out. We left here at 9:30 instead of 8:30. Had breakfast at Heaven on earth in Azalea about 11 miles south .It was mediocre at best. Very expensive.  Then we came back to get gas and groceries in Canyonville.  Theb back to the rig . Back about 11:30. TV and stitching the rest of the day and night.  Restful.  Pretty warm here.

Monday September 15, 2025, Seven Feathers RV Resort, Canyonville OR

 We got up about 7:30.  Breakfast chores and crosswords.  Then we gradually pulled up stakes leaving the Blue Heron RV about 10:45. Took us about 15 minutes to drive to the freeway 6 miles. Terrible road own the road.  Got gas at the Chevron and headed to Seven feathers.  110 miles.  Arrived about 1:15.  Got set up. No satelite.  Spent 2 hours and lots of bucks trying to get. Espn set up and running. Double header.  Could only get one game.  Steve fixed us half sandwiches for lunch as we did not pack a lunch.  Grilled cheese for dinner.

Sunday September 14, 2025, Lazy Horse RV Park, Hornbrook CA

 Steve woke me up at 7:30. Told him I would make pancakes . Coffee and then cooking.  Football and stitching all day. Snacking.  Cooler today.  Hazel hid from a fly all day.  Moving tomorrow.   

Satuday September 13, 2025, Lost Pony RV Park, Hornbrook CA

 I woke up at 6:15 worried about how Steve would fix the lock and load on the motorcycle.  Couldn't really go back to sleep.   Then got up about 7. Breakfast chores and of course Steve had to take the back down and resecure it in the lock and load.  Then I separated the laundry and took it to the park laundry.  That's what I did for the next three hours.  Brought the last load into the trailer to fold.  Steve fixed us egg salad sandwiches. Then it was finally time  to for stitching.   Fried chicken in the ninja for dinner.  Stitching and TV the rest of the night. 

Friday September 12, 2025, Blue Heron/Lost Pony RV Park. Hornbrook CA

 

We got up about 7. Breakfast chores crosswords . Steve wanted to check out the laundry.  2 washers 2 dryers.  So he walked me down to the office to get quarters. Then we strongly discussed when I would do it.  Again his obsession with laundry amazes me.  My guess is he is out of clothes.  Or under wear.  He is wearing long pants so he must need shorts.  Won't cop to it tho. Stitching and TV all day.  On and off snits.  Finally finished October mini village.  Can't wait till we are done with those.

Thursday September 11, 2025, Lost Pony RV Park, Hornbrook CA

 We got up about 7. Steve was in a rush to leave. I got about 3 sips of coffees.  Hazel got sick again and refused her treats. Got the slide in. Left the park at 9:30. Travelled about 200 miles to our current  location.  Out I'm the boonies 6 miles on a rugged road to get here. Very nice park. Wild horses are everywhere and more pesky than anything.  Right next to the river.  Watched the football game.  Got hooked into the internet.  No phone service here.  Still working on October mini village.

Wednesday September 10, 2025, Honey Lake Campground, Milford CA

 We got up and relaxed, Breakfast chores, crosswords.  Steve watched a football gaee.me. Then we decided to take a ride.stopped ed at ace hardware ines Susanville. New step stools.  Then we headed to eagle Lake. Went potty turned around and came back.  Saw the lake thru the trees.  Came back intending to have lunch at Taco Bell. It was packed. Picked up some necessities at Walmart. Raco Bell calmed down so we went in. 45 minutes later we were eating lunch.  Some guy ahead of us had 15 orders.  4 no shows for work.  So we were eating at 2:30.  Had to order on line at their computer. Finally we were on the way.  Stopped for gas then home.  Not hungry for dinner . Steve sbackef.  Stitched and watched TV the rest of the night. 

Tuesday September 9, 2025, Honey Lake RV Resort, Milford CA

 Got up about 7, breakfast,  pills and we putting things away to take off. We left Hawthorne about 9:30 and drove 189 miles to Honey Lake. Dusty here. No paved areas. 30 amps.  Glad we have only two nights here.  Got setup OK. Had trouble with the bedroom slide.  We're able to overcome. No satellite service. Streaming. No game shows for two days. Yay!.  Stitching is going slow. Sick of mini villages. 

Monday, September 8, 2025, Whiskey Flats RV Park, Hawthorne NV

Steve was up at 5:30. I slept in till 6.  Breakfast chores and crosswords.  Broke down camp and hit the road by 8:30.  We drove 270 miles to our standard Whiskey Flats RV Park.  Arrived about 2. Did not unhook. Met the neighbors Brian and Bertha Foote from Maine.  Then we chilled till it was time to watch Monday night Football .  We lost in the pool.  Very smokey there.  

 

Sunday September 7, 2025, Preferred RV Resort Parhump NV

 We got up around 7, coffee and crackers chores and crosswords.  Then off to meet Candy and Art for breakfast.   Turns out it was Candy 's Birthday.   Then home for football and stitching.  Hunkered inside away from the heat.  Walked the dog when the sun went down. Ready to leave this place. Not the place to have a prolonged stay in September. 

Saturday September 6, 2025, Preferred RV Park, Parhump NV

 Got up about 7:30. Electrical storm last night. Sophie freaked out.  Watched football all day.  I stitched.  Did  a Walmart run then home for a movie and stitching.  Steve is going deaf.  Last day tomorrow here. 

Friday September 5. 2025, Preferred RV Resort Parhump NV

 We were up about 6:30. Coffee and Crackers chores and crosswords.  Then we met Candy for Breakfast. Then home for TV and stitching.  Then about 3 we gathered everything up and headed overvto Candy's for dinner. Stopped at Smiths to pick up water and dessert.  Then over to Candy and Art to remember all the drunk stories ad nauseum. Left there about 7:30. Home for more TV and stitching. 

Thursday September 4, 2025, Preferred RV Resort Parhump NV

 Got up at 7. Sophie survived without the vibrations.  Breakfast chores and crosswords.   Then I got busy cleaning and organizing.   That took most of the morning.   I had to work around Steve.  Tried to stay cool.  Then stitched  and watched TV the rest of the day.. Steaks in the ninja.  Somehow I left the steak rub at home. Will have to make some more. Football till  nine thirty.

Wednesday September 3, 2925, Preferred RV Resort Parhump NV

 Happy 20th Anniversary.  Up about 6:30. Quick coffee and crackers. Then loaded truck with food and last minute items. Pulled out about 9.  Stopped for gas near Kingman.  Lunch and dog walk. Drove thru crazy Las Vegas then on to Parhump arriving at 2:45 driving 315 miles.  Got set up in 94 degree temps.  Nearly dehydrated.  Took awhile to recoup.  Got the TV straightened out and ready to watch. Steve spiraled into asshoke mode.  Shit Anniversary.   Readjustibg to RV life 

Tuesday, September 2. 2023, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Another busy day.  I got woke up about 6:30. Breakfast chores and crosswords.  Then put what I could in bags ready to take out to the trailer.  Steve prepped the truck.  Then off to bowling.   87-79-101 for me.  Stopped at Jersey Mike's for a delicious sub. Came home for dog park ride. Then off  to get tgectruck and trailer.  Fred and Julia helped  schlepp bags and clothes.  Came in and collapsed the n went in the trailer and putvit away.  Bags of food tomorrow. Finished August!!

 We got up about 8. Nice. Breakfast chores and crosswords.  Then 3 loads  of laundry.  Continued prepping for the  trip.  Two trips to the dog park.  Otherwise quiet day at home.  Steak in the ninja for dinner.
