Got up at normal time. Breakfast. Sewing room. Baked some banana bread. Turned out ok. Then we did our mail run. Steve knocked the lens out of his glasses. A trip to Lenscrafters was in order. He was in a snit the whole ride. Got home and I sewed the binding on one side. Stitching for the rest of the day . Another trip to dog park. Very hot here today. Dinner was leftover pork ribs. Cleanup. Then it was time for TV, cuddles and stitching. Steve is still pumping out the intarsia.
We were up at the crack of dawn . We out of the house on the road by 8 am. We had a wonderful breakfast at Jan's . It was great but expensive. Then we picked up a missing copy at Sir Speedy then Harbor Freight finally we spent a small fortune at Fry's. Came home and unloaded the groceries cart ride to dog park and into the sewing room. This neighborhood is a little peyton place. Sally is at the center of it. Got things done in the sewing room. Very hot . Steve has a new intarsia project. Stuffed bell peppers for dinner. Finally time for TV and cuddles and stitching.
Got up leisurely. Had breakfast while Steve worked outside. Did three loads of laundry. Just about finished my sew she did project . Stitched. Took cart ride to the cargo trailer and the big Mo. Ran by Fords who are leaving tomorrow. They will be missed. Went to Red Lobster with the Fords. Got home for TV, cuddles and stitching.
Another fun day at the house. Up earlier than I would like but got lots done. Worked on my sew she did project. Took the dogs for a very short walk. Dis some stitching. Steve worked on setting up his new saw and table. Went to Colleen's to find out we needed to do while they were gone. Then a very quick dinner. Card bingo where we go on Sarmturday nights to donate money. Then home for TV and cuddles.
Quiet day. Disaster avoided. My package that I was concerned about came to the mail box not the house. I worked in the quilt room after dusting and vacuuming. Steve actually helped. We had coconut shrimp for dinner. We watched the original Top Gun together after dinner. Still got in some TV time and cuddles.
Got up at 7:30 stececwent to Carving for about a minute. Came home and worked on his intarsia project. He just spent $600. On a new skill Saw. He better not say one word about my small purchases. I spent the day doing inventory on flosses and stitching. I went to Colleen's to find out how to backstitch. I made ribs for dinner. Then it was time for TV, cuddles and stitching.
We got up breakfast and chores. Steve took the motorcycle and went and got his copies. Came home. I am still organizing floss. At 12:30 we picked up the Fords and went to see the new Top Gun movie. It was almost like Star Wars. Not really believable. Thought we would get a bite to eat but everyone else at junk at the theater. Came home and fixed stuffed bell peppers that we got at Costco. Couple of cart rides to the dog park. Mike and Judy came home. Garbage was a day late due to the holiday. Finally it was time for TV, cuddles and stitching.
