July 7, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Today was a day  recuperat. We got up way too early. Breakfast  and  chores.  Steve went to carving.   I did a little cleaning.  Steve came home way too early.   I scanned lots of patterns.   We took the clean linens to the trailer and made the bed.  Two dog park runs. We had pot pies for dinner.  I finished stitching Lavender seeds.   We rested steve just about finished the puzzle.  Finally it was time for TV,  cuddles and stitching. 

July 6, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 They are back home.  We are home alone.  We were up and out the door by 8:30.  We dropped them at the airport.we stopped at the cell phone lot and used their bathroom.  The wood store Steve likes.  Then a quick stop for a Subway sandwich.   We stopped at Walmart to pickup prescriptions for Steve. Finally home .  Off to the dog park for an hour visit with the Fords.  Back at the house I started laundry.   I scanned some patterns and worked on organizing them.  Dinner was shrimp.  Then another trip to the dog park. Finally after folding clothes it was time for TV, cuddles and stitching.    Alone time.

July 5, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Well if I had stayed with Ed this would have been our 47th Anniversary.   We got leisurely and had breakfast.   Then we we off at 9 for a new adventure.   We stopped at the Dewey Post Office and I got my packages.  Then we headed to Sedona. Jerry and Sheila  did some shopping in Sedona.  Then we drove up thru Flagstaff and came back to Montezuma's Castle Jerry and Sheila walked out to the castle ascot was 97 degrees out.  Then we headed home.  At 4:30 we went and got gas and had a wonderful dinner at Lefty's.   Then we checked out historic Dewey.   Then home to relax.  Tomorrow we head to the airport.   Yay.   

July 4, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We had a wonderful 4th of July.  We got up at the crack of dawn to get in line at the cart parade at the pickle ball court at the north side.  There were almost 20 carts all decorated up.  Er rode up and down the streets for the next two hours.  There were a lot of people on their porches to cheer us on.  We finished up about 9:30.  Came home where the guys had a pizza snack.  Then down to the round house for hot dogs and music.   We relaxed and some napped.  Then we drove to Chino Valley to pick up a table to sit by the front door. Then we went over to visit Ralph and Wendy . Home to BBQ steaks. We have just one day left then the trip to the airport.   Finally after cleanup it was time to stitch.  Looking forward to some downtime.  

July 3, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Just 2 days before we head to the airport.   My husband is a first class asshole.  Especially if he doesn't get his way.  We got up late which was nice.  Had a nice breakfast of sausage and french toast which Steve was unimpressed.   I did laundry. Took the dogs to dog park.  I cleaned up the kitchen.  Sheila and Jerry worked on the puzzle.  We took a short ride to Lynx lake.  Ice Cream at Culver's.   Back home to fix strawberries and finish laundry.   Fords met us at Canton Dragon for a nice dinner.  Home for more puzzling and stitching.  I am done with visiting with the Stickney's.   Steve went to bed at 9:30 I am finally alone.  No cuddling tonight.  

July 2, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up. Since Steve didn't want to go to the grocery store we had pancakes instead of French toast. Cleanup and chores.  Steve takes out his frustration with Jerry on me.  We decided to go to see Tuzigoot.   We ccx endedvup going through Jerome as well.  We checked outvBlazing M Ranch.  We were home by 2.  Got milk.  I made ribs in the instapot.   We ate early so we could play card Bingo. Steve won 1 hand. Another day  over with. Able to start a new cross stitch project. Three whole days left.  

July 1, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 New month.  Day 4, 5 more to go.  Signs of wear on Steve.  We got up and I made bisquits and gravy.  We ate about 9ish.  We all got up late.  It poured this am. About 11 we decided to hit Fry's as they had rib eye steaks for 5.77 a pound.   They were huge Sheila paid for more than half of the groceries.  On the way to Fry's we discovered that we had a flat tire.  The normal person couldn"t fit us in so we went to another place after the grocery store.  Since there was a wait Stevevroughtvus home and we put away the groceries.  . Steve and jerry decided to  go get the tire fixed.  Sheila and I  made pecan candies. Yum.  Then Steve and I took the dogs and Sheila  was supposed to get the potatoes made.  When we returned she had divine nothing.  Finally we got the in the oven and dinber was good.  Steve BBQ'ed  tri- tip.  Yum. The sheilal and went to visit Judy and got a tell all about making card.  Home for ice cream stitching and finally bed.  .
