I got up about 7:30. Steve didn't go to carving. He was busy ordering wood. He took the dogs out and I had breakfast and did chores. Then I started stitching. I finished the Coneflowers. Hard on my eyes. Steve worked till about noon. We got some pee spots out of the carpet. It rained or should I say poured for about an hour. Couple of dog park runs. Dinner was leftover chili relleno casserole. Finally it was time for TV, cuddles and stitching.
Steve got up at the crack of dawn I went back to bed till a respectful hour. I finished scanning and emailing patterns. Then stitching. Steve worked till almost 1. Colleen came to get her flash drive. Then we went to office Max for glue sticks and rubber fingers. We ended up ordering from Amazon. Then Walmart. We skipped Hobby Lobby since I wanted to browse. Then home for more stitching. Dog park and leftovers for dinner. Cleanup. Finally it was time for TV, cuddles and stitching.
Got up about 7:30 and had a cup of coffee, Judy across the street came over about 8 and caught me in my jammies. She talked and talked till 9:45. She is my source for neighborhood gossip. So nothing got done. I got ready to go to the activity meeting and pick up Colleen. Then home. Lunch. I watched TV in the bedroom. Then dog park and mail. I finally connected with the neurologist. Got an appointment for August 3rd. Then did some copying and scanning. I made a chili relleno casserole and decided to invite the Fords for dinner. Finally it was time for TV, cuddles and stitching.
I got up at 7:30. During my first cup of coffee Steve wanted my to help him bring in the ironing board cabinet. Needless to say we waited til later. I worked on projects in my sewi ng room. Dog park run and lunch. Steve came in as it was super hot today. Then Steve decided to take over the room. I sat and stitched till I needed in the room. I set up the sewing machine and prepped aida cloth for vacation projects. We took the dogs to the dp and picked up corn from Colleen. Back home to BBQ pork steaks for dinner. Rain on the way. Finally was time for TV, cuddles and stitching.
Very relaxing day. I worked in the sewing room till Colleen and Mike came over. They visited about an hour. Colleen shared some on Mike's medical status. They are looking for a spot on his pancreas. Hopefully just a shadow. Mike worked with Steve on intarsia. Once they left we made a trip to the dog park. I stitched most of the day. Very hot outside. Early dinner of more left overs. Cleanup. Short sit on the porch. Finally it was time for TV, cuddles and stitching.
I was able to sleep until 7:30. Steve worked on intarsia I did some stitching. Went to dog park then went to get our pedicures. Then Walmart and Safeway. Shelves were getting bare. Came home and put stuff away. More stitching more dog park. Quick dinner of left overs then picked up Colleen for card Bingo. Home by 9 for TV, cuddles and stitching.
We got up really early. I went into lay in the bed and it wa already made. So I got up. Steve worked on intarsia. I worked in the sewing room but I put the table in backwards. At 10 the Fords picked us up and we went to see the movie Elvis. It was ok but I already knew it was going to be a sad ending. He died of a heart attack and full of all kinds of drugs. Good acting all around. Tom Hanks was great. Then we went into Prescott to eat at Dees BBQ but I was not a big fan. Too spicy for me. We came home and kicked back for the rest of the day . I stitched. 2 runs to the dog park. Finally it wad time for TV, cuddles and stitching.
