December 31, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Last day of 2020!.  We got up and hit the road on our walk.  Steve walked part way.  Then he worked on the puzzle while we finished our walk.  Came home and changed clothes.  Then Betty and I took our quilts to the longarmer.   She has a really cool place.  He whole front room was used for quilts.  Then we made the mistake of going to the big Fry's.   Once we were done there we came home. I cooked the potatoes and eggs for the potato salad.   At three we headed over to McMashers for wings which wre quite good.  Once we came back I worked on the food for tomorrow.   Finally about 6 I headed up to the bedroom for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   The dogs are spooked due to the fire crackers.  

December 30, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Today was so much fun.  Sandy, Betty,  Suzanne and I went to the big town to go to the sale at 35th Avenue Fabric World.   They were having their year end 30% off sale.  So Betty and went to town.  We left here about 9.  We were at the fabric place about 2 1/2 hours.  Then we went to Chandler for lunch at chilis.   We had so much fun. We got home about 3.  Steve was working on the puzzle but he completely broke down Christmas and put it away.  He also helped Alan take out his convection/microwave.   We also managed a Teryx ride. We had dinner and it was finally time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 29, 2020. Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 We are almost at the end of 2020.  Another early day.  Off on the walk at nine.  Then sewing at Betty's after the cool down and clothes change.  Home for lunch.   Back to Betty's fir more sewing.   I need a lot practice on the applique process and stitching.   Will and Robin came home and have been exposed to the Covid.  They are quarantining ans testing. 35 cases in the Park .  We went to Boston 's with the Tuesay night supper club.  When I came home it was time for teeth brushing and TV with cuddles from the dogs.  People are scared in the park.  Tempers are flaring.  Most of the park is closed down.  

December 28, 2029 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Well the new year is coming soon.  We got up at 7 as usual.  Off on our walk.  Even Steve went along.  Then I came home and changed clothes and was at Betty's sewing by 10:30 .  Home at noon for lunch the over to Suzanne's for coloring. Steve started working on Jigsaw puzzle on my sewing table.   Back home we decided to take the dogs on a Teryx ride to the dog park.   Then we went over to get propane and picked up a pizza at Papa Murphy's. Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 27, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 We got up and walked all of us.  After the cool down I went home.  I was trying to get to Betty's to learn applique.   But first Steve had to call all the girls, then a shower dump the gray water and finally load the propane bottle so that we can stop at the gas station to get it filled on the way to the grocery store.  Of course the station was closed due to it being Sunday.  Did some shopping. Came home and unpacked the groceries only to find the most important package did not get in my out going cart.  Finally it was time to head over to Betty's to sew.  I didn't do too bad with the applique though I need a lot more practice.   At 4 we had happy hour with all the neighbors.   We came home at 5 for dinner and dishes.   I cleared off the garage table so Steve could work a puzzle.

Finally  it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   We start a new week.  Steve told the girls we most likely wouldn't see the till the fall.  Fingers crossed.   

December 26, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Well we are one day post Christmas.   We got up early.   Out the door at nine to walk.  Did the cool down.   Worked on the back of the quilt that we are taking to the quilters on Thursday.   Steve watched football most of the day.  We had words about whether we will drive back to CA to see Stephanie 'a house before heading east.  But we survived. We tucked in a Teryx ride.   I went over and visited with Betty for awhile.  We had steak salads for dinner which were very good.  Dishes and we were ready for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 25, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 It was a wonderful Christmas.   We got up late 8:15 for me.  I made pancakes for Alan and Steve. Then I cleaned up the mess from that and started getting ready for dinner at 2.  The kids gave us a scrabble game and puzzles for Christmas.   So Steve and I played a game.  Then I made my salad and got the rolls ready. We BBQ'ed the steaks and they were perfect.  We sat down about 2:45.  We brought the dogs over until it was time for them to eat. The girls then decided to play 5 crowns.  We had a great time.  Steve went home early after the game was over.  Got home and the girls were ready for TV and cuddles with Mom.

We talked to some of the kids and texted others.

December 24, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Well Christmas is finally here.  Quiet and peaceful.   We walked as usual. Larry didn't want to run into the people that were setting up the luminaries since both he and Larry decided not to help out.  Once we cooled down I came home and took care of some chores that were waiting for me.  Then over to Suzanne's for coloring and gabbing.  We even had snacks.  Home to do some reading.  Steve was busy while I was at Suzanne's.  He put drinks in the fridge,  washed the dishes, and walked dogs and took the garbage.   Who is this man who looks like my husband.  Then a quick dinner of left over hamburger Strognanoff.   I did the dishes then it was time for cuddles while watching. 

December 23, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Two days til Christmas.   Just about ready.  No gifts to wrap.  We did our walk at nine.  Steve went part way. He was carving when I got back.  I have seen no results from the walking.  But at least I  haven't put alot on with what I have been eating.   I got my holiday packages ready and we delivered them.  We did a few errands then came back.  Steve carved and Alan joined him. I was going to make pigs in a blanket.  I had enough to double the recipe.  So we had an impromptu gathering for lunch.  Then I organized the laundry. I did three loads with Sandy and was home by 4.  A quick walk to the dog park and it was time for rest and relaxation.  Tacos for dinner.  Then dishes and TV with  doggie cuddles. 

December 22, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Today started out as usual with a walk.  Steve cut himself on the ear with the razor.  I thought I was going to have to run home into emergency but the bleeding finally stopped.   I came home and finished some chores.  When Steve came home we went and got propane then stopped at Fry's.   I came back and made my Praline crunch.   I visited Sandy for a few minutes.  We took the dogs to the dog park.  Then over to McMashers.   Don't know what Betty and Larry like about that place.  I think the food is mediocre at best.  Back home we talked to Jubilee's parents who were decorating their house outside.  Finally home for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 21, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Today was a really fun day.  We were up early I walked with Betty and Larry.  We shortened the walk since Betty' s hip was bothering her.  I came back to the trailer changed clothes and did a little cleaning. Emphasis on little. We took a small Teryx ride.  Then off to coloring.   Once I got back Betty and I went to the dog park and we decided to have an impromptu happy hour.  I guess Steve is upset because he didn't really want to spend the money to come here, pay big bucks and not be able to do much due to Covid.  We BBQ'ed chicken for dinner.  The dishes were done and the teeth got brushed.   Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   3 days till Christmas.   

December 20, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 We had a pretty busy day.  Betty was too sore to walk. So I got busy making cookies.   Unfortunately Steve decided that he was going to paint on one of his carvings at the same time.  But we got it done.  Sandy ran over to collect some fresh baked cookies and get some dog love.  I finished baking the cookies,  did a little cutting.  A quick visit with Betty.   We took our daily Teryx ride.   Then it was time to make hamburger Strognanoff for dinner.  Dishes then some cuddles with the dogs. 

I am having some trailer rage.  I don't seem to have as much counter space tho nothing has changed.

December 19, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Very nice day.  I was up early to walk.  Steve was supposed to go to the store while I was walking.  That didn't happen neither did the making of the bed.  Steve was caught up on his projects.  We went to the store to get a few things.  Once we got back we waited for Jean and Dave to come.  They got here about 11:15.  We sat and chatted at Sandy's for awhile.  Then we took it outside for a lunch of 2 x 4 soup mine with no beans. We had rolls and crackers and fruit with dip.   Then we sat out and chatted for awhile.   Betty and Larry came for awhile.  The we had pie and they left.  That was about 2:30.  We ran the dogs to the dog park.  We hung out at the house and I was able to finish my book.  Then I made sausage and egg sandwiches.   I did the dishes then we took a Teryx ride with the dogs. 

Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   Steve seems to be over his snit.  

December 18, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Well the grinch and I were up early to get to the post office to mail our Christmas packages to the family.   Back by 9 so Betty and I  could walk.  We did over 2 and a half miles.  Then I got cleaned up and ate lunch.  Went to coloring.   It was just Betty and Suzanne and I.  Once I was back at the rig Steve said Paul Heebner stopped by.  Apparently somebody in their block tested positive for Covid.  So they had been exposed.   So Steve wiped everything down real well.  I made my apple pie.  While it was baking the oven started smoking..  some juice must have over flowed.  We BBQ'ed hamburgers.  Dishes then TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

Steve has been real grinch all day.  He made his own lunch.  He walked the dogs while I was at coloring.   He ground the coffee  and put some things away under the bed.  Wonder if that is apology chores or he is still in grinch mode.

December 17, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Well we took off for the big city.  We left the dogs in Sandy's care.  We headed for Biscuits Cafe for a very mediocre breakfast.   Right next door was a postal place.  We had some packages to mail so I thought doing it there would be better than standing in line at the post office .  Wrong.  They told us we would be better off going to the post office.  Of course neither of the workers knew where that was.  Steve located one but it was not where it was supposed to be.  So we decided to drive 45 Miles to Woodworkers Source and all we did there was use the bathroom.   Then we went to Walmart in Ahwahukee.  Bought drinks.  Then went to Steve's dentist appointment.   Fortunately he got in early so we didn't have to wait too long in the truck.  His appointment was at 2:30 and we were leaving by 2:10.  Last stop was Costco where Steve turned into a real jackass.  I couldn't find what I wanted for myself and others.  We hardly bought anything.   We had a very quiet ride home.  He was pissed off because he was going to be forced to buy me the versa 3.  Since he was made I told him to just forget it.  What a fucking ass.  He has been real ass since we got here.  I am definitely not in the Christmas mode this year.we got home and I made some scrambled eggs for dinner.  Then we went to Betty's to sit around the fire with Robin and Will to wait for the lighted cart parade.  Then I came here to the bedroom to cuddle with the dogs and watch TV. 

  

December 16, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 I slept downstairs again with the dog.  It seems that the dog prefers to sleep down there.  She is fine all night while we  watch TV but as soon as we try to settle in for the night Sophie starts to whine.  So down I go.  Anyway I was up early to walk but we postponed it an hours as it was too cold to walk.  We did about three miles .  Then Steve and I sat and cooled down til noon then we rode over to the food truck for lunch.  I got some sewing in then after a walk to the dog park Betty  and I delivered our Christmas goodies.  We talked at Sandy's for quite awhile. Then leftovers for dinner, dishes and finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 15, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Another fun day in Casa Grande.   I got ready and at 9:45 the shopping Marathon begin.  We started at Michael's.   Then Kohl's.   Then Ross.   Then Walmart.   Finally Fry's.   I was exhausted when we got back.  Steve drove us to Norris to get a new thermostat.   Then back home.  At 4:15 the Tuesday Night Supper Club gathered for their weekly meeting at the trucks.   We went to Burro for Pizza. It was yummy.  Then home for an early night of TV and cuddles with Hazel and Sophie. 

December 14, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Almost Christmas.   We are at half a month gone in December.  I got to sleep in another day.  Betty and Larry were off early to the big city.  So we got up and had coffee and a muffin.  I made one of Sandy's pillow covers which she said she liked.  Then after Deal it No Deal we headed out on errands.   First stop was Harbor Freight where Steve bought me a pencil case that is waterproof!   Getting into it is like trying to get into Fort Knox.  Then we tried to look at easy ups at Cal Ranch.  The RV store for a thermostat.   Lunch was takeout at Burger King and eaten at Safeway parking lot.  Then grocery shopping and home for putting things away.  Then I made the final pillow cover.  Sandy came and got them.  Then Betty and I took a short walk with the dogs.  We ate waffles for dinner.  Dishes were done.  Dogs teeth were brushed.  Then I retired to the bedroom until Sandy and Alan came over with a heater.  Freezing temps on the way.  Finally  it was time to get a good cuddle in with the dogs.  

December 13, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Today was supposed to be a day of rest. We slept in until 9:15.  Got up and had coffee and breakfast.   Then Sandy popped in before I even got dressed.  Then Betty called and was ready to cut out snowmen.  We did that fir 2 and a half hours.  Till my back gave out.  Then home to putter and relax.  We had chicken cordon bleu.   Did dishes and finally it is time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

Tomorrow will be a day of real rest as Betty is going to the big city.   Love her to death but she makes me nuts.

December 12, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 And yet another busy day in Casa Grande.  We did our normal 2 plus miles around the outside of the park.  We sat outside and cooled off.  Then Sandy and I were off to the laundry mat with the Teryx loaded down with dirty clothes.  Half of the washer and dryers we blocked off.   We finished up about 2.  Steve and I took the Teryx and measured the interior and exterior walking routes around the park.  We took the Teryx on the roads outside the park.   Then we hung out at Betty's for awhile chatting.   Then we went and got take out at the Big Wa for us and the Clark's.   It was yummy.  Finally it was time for Christmas movies on the TV.   Cuddles with the dogs were also on the agenda.  

December 11, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Well another great day.   Steve does not seem to be on edge as much.  We got up and out of the house on our walk by 8:30.  We were running a little late because Steve was looking for something.   We took a small cool down period. I went home and changed.  Then we went to I hop fir Breakfast with Sandy and Allen and Betty and Larry.   Not real impressed with with their menu but it was just right.  Back home to do a few things before walking down to coloring for a couple of hours.  Came back and chilled until it was time to drive. The puppies to the dog park.  Back for dinner. Dishes.  Then TV and cuddles.  

December 10, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Today was a pretty good day. Today was the 58th anniversary of my mother's death.  I was talking to Steve about it just this morning.   Cousin Sally even emailed me about it.  First time ever.  I woke up at 6:30.  Moved up to the bed and went back to sleep till 7:30.  It was raining so I texted Betty that we would walk later.  I went downstairs and slept in until 8:30.  We had egg and cheese tortillas for breakfast.   Then I made a batch of 7 layer cookies.   They smelled yummy.  At 11 we set off on our walk.  We finished up in an hour with 2 plus Miles under our belts.  A quick trip to Sandy's then home.  Changed clothes and over to Betty's to finish putting the Garland on our wall hanging.  About 3 I started the spaghetti sauce.  We ate about 5.  Dishes and it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   It was nice to have a chilly rainy day.  

December 9, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Well we got up early and walked at nine.  We did almost three miles.   We did our normal cool down.  Then I got busy and bathed the dog.  

Steve came out and carved.  We ate lunch then I went over to Betty's to work on a project.   We worked till almost 4 then I came home.  We had  dinner.  Watched game shows.  Then Glenda called.   Steve accused me of ignoring him. I finally asked  him why he has been so grumpy.  I got no real answer but he got mad and now we are not speaking.   I think he is having withdrawals from possibly loosing  Kaiser and California. 

December 8, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Well today was a very busy day . I woke up at 6:15 and decided to get up.  We did our walk at 8:30.  We sat and chatted for awhile.  Steve went to carving.  At 10 on the dot the girls headed out for shopping.   We hit Michael's first where I went toe to toe with the manager on pricing and I won the day.  Then the dollar store and Bed Bath and Beyond. Then we did Walmart.   Very crowded.  Normal empty shelves.   I was buried in groceries like at Congress.   We got home around 2.  Put away the groceries then tried to chill.   A Teryx ride then off to Taco Tuesday at Cafe Manuel.  Everyone was too tired to sit at the fire pit so I went up to the bedroom to watch TV and cuddle with the dogs.  

December 7, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 There is something going on with Steve.  He seems fine then snaps at me.  Not sure if it is the stay at home Covid stuff or the elections.   He is acting very strange since we got here.  

We got up and all walked about a mile and half . Steve headed home.  He did some chores like garbage and recycling and water.  We sat and talked for awhile then I went home and started putting things away in the sewing room.  Went to coloring.   Cleaned the tables.   Colored. Betty brought me a color book that we had been fighting  over.   What a great Arizona sister I have.  We came home more cleaning.  BBQ chicken for dinner.  Dishes and it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 6, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 We had a quiet day at home.  Got up late. Steve got up at 6 and as usual turned on the lights and TV. I went upstairs and went back to sleep until 8.  Then I had coffee which Steve made at 6.  I made pancakes for Alan first and sent them over with Steve much to Steve's dismay.  Then we had ours.  I cleaned up the mess.  Finally after a quick visit with Betty I started sewing and finally finished my tea towel project.   I need some better towels if I am going to spend this much time on making something out of them.  We BBQ'ed ribs for dinner.  Oh and the thermostat broke so we aren't doing and heating and cooling.  We had to order a new thermostat.   Dishes were done and then it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 5, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Today was another great day at Fiesta Grande.  We were up and out the door to walk at nine.  We walked the interior walls.  Steve went home half way and Larry cut out early as well.  But Betty and I soldiered on.  Then we sat out and chatted at Betty's and Steve joined us.  Then off to get propane and grocery store.  Bought some things for Sandy.  Put my groceries away.  Walked to the dog park with Sandy stopping at Betty's to chat with  Betty Sandy and Robin.  Then home to take a Teryx ride and chill in my chair.  We had hot dogs rolled in crescent rolls.  They were yummy.  While we were watching TV we heard this sound booming music outside.  Santa and his music drive by in a fire engine.  It was really cool.  Then it was back to the bed to watch TV and cuddle with the dogs. 

December 4, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 This December is really dragging.  It has been really sunny and hardly seems like the holidays. 

I got up about 7:45.  We had coffee and breakfast then Sandy and I went to get our haircuts at Shelly Brooks new house behind Lowes.  When we got back Betty and I took a walk.  Then we all gathered in our front yard first it was Betty Larry and Steve and myself.  Then Alan came over then Sandy.  Alan and Steve carved for awhile.   I fixed us all a grilled cheese sandwich.  Then I sewed.  I worked until I got conscripted to help flush the black tank.  We took a Teryx ride.  Then it was time to chill until dinner of leftover pulled pork sandwiches.   Dishes and then TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 3, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Today was a bust day but fun.  I got up early waiting for Betty to get back from the store to walk.  It was too cold and windy so we decided to wait a little later.  The people came to finish waxing the trailer and I got to write the check to pay the as Steve left to have his toes taken care of.  I worked on my tea towel project. Steve came home from toes unhappy with his pedicurist.   He then went to Tractor supply and Michael's with Alan.  While he was gone Betty and I took our walk.  We sat outside for awhile and chatted.  Then back home for lunch and more sewing.   Steve decided that he didn't want pulled pork for dinner so we should go out.  We decided to grab Sandy and Alan . We decided on 5:30.  I then invited Betty and Larry.   Then Sandy decided on 5 so we made some adjustments.   We had a nice dinner at Mimi's.   We were there till 6:30.  Back in time for young  Sheldon at 7.  I was cuddling with the dogs by 7 as well.

December 2, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

Today was laundry day.  We were up at the usual 6:45.  Steve went on the walk with us.  We did our two miles.  Then I changed clothes and we loaded up the Teryx with mine and Sandy's clothes.   We went to the front laundry.   The repairman treated us to some free washes.  We finished up about 1:30.  We visited with Sandy and Alan then came home and watched game shows.  I remade the bed.  We had left overs for dinner.   Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 1, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Well it is the first of a new month.  I got up early for my walk with Betty and Larry.  Steve was under the weather recouping from his bout with food poisoning.   I met them at the dog park.   We sat and chatted for awhile.  I went home and finished dressing.  I sewed fir awhile then lunch.  Steve was peeved that he had to fix his own soup.  He even had to put a few dishes away before he was able to put the soup pot on the stove.  I walked to the dog park with Sandy and she stopped and visited with us for awhile.  As we were talking about getting some business done at the office Alan walked over.  So we decided to stay out longer.  Finally it was time for everyone to do their business.  We were leaving to go to our Tuesday dinner out.  We left at 4:15. Betty and Larry decided to walk.  They are walking fiends.  We had an ok meal there.  A quick stop at Fry's then home for TV and cuddles.  

November 30, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Today started out early with a walk.  Steve joined us for the first mile.  Then we picked up Larry and finished up.  I came home only to find Steve becoming more and more sick to his stomach.   Apparently we left out some desserts from Thanksgiving.   They were some of Betty's low carb pumpkin desserts.   With eggs and cream.  Anyway I cancelled the trailer wash and only Betty and I went to have our toes done.  I drove and afterward we ran some errands.  We got home about 3:30.  Sandy Betty and I walked to the dog park.  Sandy and I sat and chatted for awhile.  Then I went inside.  We ate egg burritos for dinner.  Steve recovered from his tummy troubles in time to have ice cream  snack.  After I ground the coffee for the morning and it was finally time to for TV and cuddles with the dogs.  

November 29, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Well I think I went over to Steve's way of thinking.  I don't think I want to come here any more.  Ready to move on.  May be due to Covid restrictions.   We will see.  

We got up late.  It was nice to be able to sleep in.  We had breakfast.   I sewed most of the day .  The tea towel project is slow going.  I took some breaks it is hard on the back.  At 4 Steve enlisted my help to tie down the mats and fix the stairs . It looks great.  We put out more Christmas decorations.   We BBQ'ed a pork steak for dinner.  Dishes then it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

  

November 28, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Well things with Steve are not back to normal.   He seems like his anger about which we are not sure is simmering just below the surface. The smallest thing sets him off.   We were at Lowes.   He out the dogs in the cart and was putting it over the curb and it seems like he purposely pushed it into my foot.  I was stunned.  I could almost feel his anger.  Time will only tell what happens.   

I got up early so I could enjoy my coffee but barely got ready by 8:30.  We got in a good walk and a cool down.  I sewed for about 5 minutes and Steve was ready to go.  We chatted with Sandy and Alan out the back .  We went to get the puppies nails trimmed.  Then Lowes and Home Depot.   Then off to get propane.   Finally a stop at Fry's for groceries.   Came back and put groceries away.   Then we went to the Big Wa for take out which we got for Sandy and Alan as well.  Once we ate dinner I made some chicken cordon bleu. Finally  it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.

Well November is coming to a close.  I got up super early this morning.   Steve got up on the wrong side of the bed.  He was a real asshole.  I met Betty at 7:30 and we walked over to JoAnn's and back.  We met Suzanne over there.   We walked back.  Then I came home and Steve went outside to carve.  Alan came over to chat as did Sandy and Alan.  Sandy and I walked to the dog park.  I sewed for awhile then it was time for lunch and off to Suzanne's for coloring.   We sat on her porch and colored while we froze to death.  Then home for relaxing.   Then as soon as I got up to sew Steve wanted to take a Teryx ride.   After that sewing and dinner then dishes. Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

November 26, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Well Happy Thanksgiving to all.  I got up and out the door for my walk at 8:30.  We walked over 2 miles again. I had breakfast  and we hung around the trailer til it was time to have our dinner at Betty's house at two.  We put the food on the main tables and ate off the smaller tables.  The food and the company was great.  We cleaned the mess up and chatted for awhile.  Betty and I walked to the dog park then around the block.  About 5 we came in from the party and chilled for while then it was time for TV and cuddles.  One of our better holidays since we have been traveling.   We decided to do the same thing for Christmas. 

 

November 25, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Tomorrow is Thanksgiving.  I got up early and had coffee.  Then I was off on my walk with Betty and Larry.  It was about 2 miles. We walked the perimeter of the park.  After we recuperated from the walk I went home and Steve was still on the phone with Verizon.  I made myself some breakfast.  Then I made the pie for tomorrow.   We took a Teryx ride and visited with the Heebner's.   Then home. I chilled for awhile.  I took things out of the back bathroom so we could actually use it. Sandy came over . Then I went over to Betty's.   Took the dogs to the dog park. Then put the chicken alfredo in the oven.  Dinner dishes and cuddles.   A good day.  Steve was much better.

November 24, 2020 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Well we made it.  Steve is in a huge snit but won't say what is bothering him.  I can only assume that he is mad about coming here.  He is upset about the dog fees and who knows what else. 

We got up at 7:30 and were out the door by 9.  We stopped at the rest stop at Casa Grande.   We were checking in by 12:45.  We got set up and ready to relax by 2:30.

Steve grumped the whole time we were setting up.  He was  up and down.  He blows up at the smallest insignigant thing.  We sat and chatted with Betty and Larry.  At 4 we left for Taco Tuesday at 4 back by 5:30.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles. 

November 23, 2020 Escapees North Ranch, Congress AZ

 Good news we got our test scores back this morning and they were negative for both of us.  The grinch got up in a bad mood again.  We were up about 7:30.  We had breakfast and coffee.  I had my to go cup already to go but someone else got all the coffee.  We were on the road by 9.  We have this route down to a science now.  As we got to 10 the traffic was backed up for almost 10 miles due to 2 accidents.  Fortunately it was going the opposite way.  We drove right to Sandy's and dropped off the Teryx at her place.  Then we ran the trailer over to the storage area.  We then went got lunch for all at Burger King.  Then we sat outside at Sandy's and ate out lunch. We left there about 2.  The traffic hadn't quit cleared.   We stopped at Costco in Surprise.   Finally home about 4:30 .  We stopped at the dog park and met Skylar an apple faced chihuahua. Back to the rig to have dinner grind the coffee and put stuff under the bed.  Tomorrow we are off to Casa Grande. 

November 22, 2020 Escapees North Ranch, Congress AZ

 Well Steve is brooding tonight.  He didn't get his buns toasted for his pulled pork sandwiches. I didn't want to dig out the toaster oven for two buns.  He threw is usual fit.  We got up as usual.  Coffee and game shows.  I took the laundry over . 4 loads washed and dried. A couple of trips to the dog park.  The Teryx was loaded on the trailer so we can take it down to Casa Grande.  It is sitting in our yard trailer ready to pull out tomorrow morning.   I made pulled pork for dinner.  Need more bbq sauce.   Cleaned up the back.  Ready to leave on Tuesday.   Now we have to get ready two days before departure instead of the say before.  Still no test results back.  The waiting is the hardest part.  

November 21, 2020 Escapees North Ranch, Congress AZ

 Well not a lot to report today.  No word on the test yet. Still able to smell and taste. We got up leisurely and Steve worked outside carving. I sewed and finally finished my charming Christmas project.  About 3 we took the dogs in the Teryx to the dog park. Then we drove into town to stock up on groceries.   Back to put them away.  BBQ chicken thighs for dinner.  It was quite yummy.   Dishes and finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   We are nearing the end of our time here.  We have started to put things away.   

November 20, 2020 Escapees North Ranch, Congress AZ

 Long day today.  We got to our usual breakfast coffee and game shows. Steve managed to get in a little carving. At 11 we were out on our way to Prescott for our Covid test.  We stopped at the locksmith to see if we could get another set of Teryx keys.  No luck there.  Then we drive over to CVS for our Covid test in the car.  Most  interesting.   Then it was over to Lowes for a few things on Steve's list.  Then we headed over to Costco.  Being the weekend before Thanksgiving it was crazy busy.  We opted to forget shopping there.  We took a scenic drive to Lynx Lake which is down Walker road right next to Costco.  Then we headed back stopping at Walmart for a Subway sandwich.   Back through Skull Valley  to the rig making that all important stop at the dog park. Then we eventually ate leftovers.   Dishes.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles.   Betty and Larry came out negative.   So now we wait.  

November 19, 2020 Escapees North Ranch, Congress AZ

 Well we had a good day today.  We got up late as usual.  Enjoyed our muffin and coffee.  About 11 we took off to Ride now to pick up the Teryx part.    Of course the real reason we decided to go was because  Steve wanted to go to a wood working place in northern Phoenix.   Once we left there we wanted to go to Michael's and Walmart in Surprise.   Finally we picked up a pizza at Papa Murphy's.   Back to Wickenburg for gas. Then a quick stop at the dog park.  Finally returned to rig about 4.  We kicked back baked our pizza and ate dinner.  I am close to finishing a Robyn Carr book.  Hard to put down .  Tomorrow we do our Covid test.  Fingers crossed.   Hard to keep turning down invites.  Finally time for TV and cuddles.   

November 18, 2020 Escapees North Ranch, Congress AZ

 Well it finally happened.   Alan Clark tested positive for Covid. Right now he is asymptomatic as was Dan.  Hopefully it will be a false positive.   So we spent the evening trying to get an appointment for testing in Prescott. We cancelled our plans with the Fords for tomorrow. 

We got up at our normal times.  Did our normal routine of coffee and game shows.  I went with Steve to the dog park.  Hazel seemed traumatized by the dog fight.  When I got there and the dogs didn't go poop I realized with all the hub bub that I neglected to feed the dogs.  So we rushed home to get them some food.  

I got some sewing done.  I am ready to spray the Christmas tree project and quilt it.   We BBQ'ed tonight.   We took the pups to the dog park.  And ride around the park.  Just as I was getting ready to go upstairs we got the call from Sandy about the Covid test.  I spent the next 2 hours trying to make a testing appointment.   Steve ended up making the appointment on his phone.  We had ice cream together then I made my way upstairs.   I am way behind on my TV viewing.    I am watching TV and cuddling with the puppies. 

We got up about the same time.  

November 17, 2920 Escapees North Ranch, Congress AZ

 Well today was rather laid back. I got some sewing done.  We got up and did coffee and breakfast  and game shows.  Then I sewed for awhile.  Steve worked outside.  I went to Kahy Bross' for awhile.  I didn't bead as I need to have full concentration.   I stayed for about an hour.  Then back.  We went to the Post Office and picked up the mail.  We did a short ride so that the dogs could potty.  On the way home a lady was walking her put bull and the guy down the way his dog got loose and went for the pit bull.   Then the pit bull got loose.  The guy tried to get control .  Then Steve tried to break things up with the Teryx.   The pit bull jumped on me which startled me and I screamed.   Not good.  We BBQ'ed hot dogs and Steve went down and and carved with the group of carvers here.  I had a quiet evening alone. Sophie could not figure out what happened to Steve.  I was able to finish the border on my River quilt.  Three days to get around it by hand.  Hazel and I watched TV and cuddled.  She was under the blanket the whole time.   

November's 16, 2020 Escapees North Ranch, Congress AZ

 Well a week from tonight will be our last night here and on to Casa Grande.  We got up leisurely and I made pancakes for Steve.  About eleven we took the dogs for a ride to the dog park.   I worked on some sewing projects and at a little after 1 went to visit Cathy Benton.   We got caught up and did a little beading.  Then I was back a little after 3.  Steve and Sophie were butting heads.  He was after her with the back scratcher.  We did a drive by at the dog park.  Back here we watched our game shows.  I walked the dogs and ccx we sat outside for while.  It was really hot here and the 30 amp won't let us run the air.  Steve is suffering.   Finally it was time for dinner.  Then dishes and finally TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

November 15, 2020 Escapees North Ranch, Congress AZ

 We had a rather laid back day today.  We got up late. Coffee breakfast and chores took us to eleven thirty.   A quick buzz around the park in the Teryx and a stop at the dog park.  Back to the rig for lunch.  Then I finally got to sew.  Then I took my crosswords outside and sat.  The weather is very nice right now.  Another trip to the dog park in the Teryx.   Then dinner and dishes.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with Hazel and Sophie.   

November 14, 2020. Escapees North Ranch, Congress AZ

 We got up early since Steve set his alarm. Coffee and breakfast.   Steve decided to take his motorcycle out.  He stopped in Prescott at the Verizon store and finally got his phone up and running.  Lunch at a Mexican restaurant and home.  I on the other had stayed home and did chores.  I took everything out of the bathroom cabinet and did some reorganizing.   I was able to find a place to put all the toilet paper I bought just in case.  Then I put away the Chewy box of goodies.  I found coffee beans for tomorrow morning.   Jerry Stickney chewed my ear for 10 plus minutes.   I took the dogs for a longish walk.  I had lunch and finally got some sewing done.  Steve came back about 3:30 I continued to sew while he buried himself with the phone .  After another walk and fed the dogs.  We decided to do takeout at Screamers.  We had to mail the old phone back so we dropped it off.  Then we went and got takeout.  We needed to stop at Safeway.   We ate in the parking lot poor planning on our part.  We had nothing to drink.  Steve was not happy as things were not going his way.  I feel like there is something eating at Steve. I have a feeling that it has to do with my insistence about having a lamp on the new table.  Seems like when I assert myself he just has a fit. Finally  it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs 

November 13, 2020 Escapees North Ranch, Congress AZ

 We had an incredibly busy day today.  I hope we have a few regular laid back days so I can catch up on sewing projects. Where do I start.  We got up and were on the road about 8:30. Our first stop was the B of A on Bell Road. Then UPS customer service place.  We got the phone! We had to check out the place where we are taking the Teryx to have some work done on it.  The place was huge.  Then we were  over to Dicks Sporting Goods to check on easy ups.  We checked out two trailer places.  Finally we hit the Walmart on Peoria.  We were all over Glendale, Peoria, New River, Goodyear and Surprise.  We got back about 3:30 and put all our goodies away.  Steve started the nerve racking job of transferring data from one phone to the other.  I took the dods for a,walk.  We had fried egg sandwiches and I did dishes.   Then it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

November 12, 2020 Escapees North Ranch, Congress AZ

 Fun but simple day.  We got up late and had our coffee and breakfast.   We were done with chores and stuff just as the Fords arrived.  We chatted for awhile then drove to Wickenburg for lunch at Nana's.  We made a long lunch then did a short tour of Wickenburg.  Back to the rig for more chat.  They left about 3.  Then we took a ride around the park with a stop at the dog park.  An hour of rest.  Then we took the last chair to the good will.  Got gas then over to the Sizzling wok for a great Chinese meal. On the way home I told Steve we were going to put a lamp on our new table.  I guess I was a little too forceful.  So I am now being shunned.  This is a new thing.  I get the silent treatment when things don't go Steve's way.  

November 11, 2020 Escapees North Ranch, Congress AZ

 Happy Veterans Day.   We got up at the crack of dawn and were out the door before 8.  We got gas in town at the Maverick.   Then breakfast at McDonald's. We got double hash browns by mistake.  Then we took off.  First stop was the UPS customer service in Goodyear.  Then we hit the Ashley warehouse to pick up our table.  Then we headed down to  Casa Grande .  We got there about 11:15.  We tried to stop at the bank but if course it was closed for the holiday.   Once we got there we watched the parade.  Steve and Alan went to rescue the Teryx. The keys remain lost.  A trip to town for a sledgehammer and crowbar.   And a new lock.  About 1:30 we headed home.  I had a nice visit with Sandy and Alan and Suzanne and Betty.  Once we got home in Wickenburg we got gas for the Teryx and washed it.  Then back at the rig we unloaded the Teryx then took the trailer over to the activity center to park it.  Finally it was time to fix left over spaghetti  for dinner.  Dishes then I collapsed on the bed for TV and cuddles. 

November 10, 2020 Escapees North Ranch, Congress AZ

 Well we both got a good night's sleep last night.  Steve let me sleep til almost nine.  We got a late start.  Did not accomplish much.  We got prepared for our jaunt to Casa grande.  I cancelled our trip to Cottonwood and changed our dates for Casa Grande.   No I  want to try and schedule two more weeks at the end of the season.  Then it was time to take the laundry over and wash and dry.  Lunch about 1:30.  Then it was time to finish another Robyn Carr book, work puzzles etc.  I did get my machine set up.  Steve went to war with ups.  Dinner was the dreaded fish.  Dishes and finally TV and cuddles.   

November 9, 2020 Escapees North Ranch, Congress AZ

 Toast was another laid back day.  I am having a real hard time with Steve right now. It seems like he thinks only about himself.  For the first time since we have been traveling I am not sure where we are heading.  We are thinking about leaving Park Sierra.  I wish things were more settled.  We weren't able to reserve a 50 amp site at Verde Valley.   We took Hazel to the Vet.  About her eye.   Got some drops.  Stopped at CVS for some Benedryl for the dogs.  Tried to get Steve  a case for his phone.  We came back at stopped at the dog park.  Then lunch. I read and worked puzzles while Steve took care of some business.  I took the dogs for a short walk.  Then dinner of spaghetti.   Steve won't like this but tomorrow is pecan crusted fish.  If not tomorrow sometime this week.  Dishes.   Finally it was time for  TV and cuddles. 

  

November 8, 2020 Escapees North Ranch, Congress AZ

 Well there is nothing to report.   Sophie continues to wake us at night.  Steve slept in the main cabin.  Sophie joined hime aboy 6.  I also til almost 9.  Then we had breakfast and coffee.  Did minimal chores.   Otherwise we stayed in our chairs.  I read and worked puzzles.  We took the recycling and paid the dog park a visit.  It has been overcast cold and windy all day.  We had a few quick showers.  We took a walk over to the laundry room .  We had leftover meatloaf for dinner.  Dishes and it was time for TV and cuddles. 

November 7, 2020 Escapees North Ranch, Congress AZ

 Another busy day.  We did get up leisurely.   We had breakfast and coffee.  We did our chores.  I got real ambitious this morning and vaccuumed and put bono on the bedroom floors this morning.  We started looking at tables for between the recliners.  We decided to go to Prescott to check out the tables at Ahley home stores.  So we finished unpacking the back of the truck then loaded up the dogs and off we went. I forgot a sweater.   We stopped for gas as soon as we landed in Prescott and a potty  break.  Then headed over to Ashley.  We ended up finding one.  We have to pick it up in Phoenix next week.  Then I fought the crowds in Costco to pick up coffee and allergy meds.   Then we headed over to  Verde Valley in Cottonwood.   We had lunch at Burger King prior to heading out.  Once we got to the park we spent at least an hour trying to decide where we would prefer to camp.  I have to call to reserve a 50 amp spot if they have anything left.  We were also trying To see where we could park our Teryx trailer.  Then we drove back to Safeway in Wickenburg for a few groceries.   We got back to the rig in the dark.  It was after 6.  Steve dropped me off by the garbage cans so the dogs could do their job.  Then a quick dinner dishes and finally TV and cuddles. 

November 6, 2020 Escapees North Ranch, Congress AZ

 We traveled 295 miles plus a small detour to a prison camp.  We got up really early about 6 and were under way by 8:25.  We traveled 98 to 89 to 40 to 17 to 60 to 93.  We stopped twice.  Once on the side of the road once at a rest stop for lunch.  Steve got off at the wrong exit and we ended up at an Arizona Prison Camp.  We got here about three and found our space. We got set up. I fixed a quick dinner and finally it was time for TV and cuddles. 

November 5, 2020 Page Lake Powell RV Resort, Page AZ

 Today we started packing up as we are moving to Congress.   We packed up. I fixed pancakes for breakfast.   Then I vaccuumed and mopped.   Steve picked up outside.   Then we had a rest and Steve took a short motorcycle ride.  I did some reading.  We did a quick Walmart run then we hiked a mile and a half to Horseshoe bend.  We got there at Sundown but I was underwhelmed.   It was all uphill summoning back.  Steve is now convinced that he is ready to hike to the hotshot memorial in Yarnell.   Right.  We are at 4118 ft elevation.   We were back by 6 for a tritip salad.  After dishes it was time for TV and cuddles.   I hope Sophie sleeps tonight.  

November 4, 2020 Page Lake Powell RV Resort, Page AZ

 Wow we had a long day today.  We got up about 7:30.  We got a little later start than we anticipated.   We made a lunch and gathered up the dogs.  We hit the road for the North rim of the Grand canyon.  I didn't even think about it being November and everything in the Park would be closed.  We got lucky and the roads were all open.  We took Hwy 89 to 89a to 67 to get to the North rim visitor center.   About an hour and half out we both got desperate for a bathroom and pulled off at an historical pull out on the way.  Then were both walked to the edge of the lake.  It was such a relief.   We went through the Vermilion Cliffs on the way.  They were gorgeous.   Finally we reached the North rim.  We sat on a picnic table and froze while we ate lunch.  We walked around the visitor center then got bac

k in the car and drove over to Cape Royal lo in okout.  Then we went to point Imperial.   We were at the highest elevation for a lookout.   8806.  Finally we headed home to arrive right about 5.  We ate left over chinese for Steve and frozen burritos for me. Dishes.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles.
