January 31, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Last day of this month. We got up had breakfast.  Steve was growling but left for work before things got ugly.  I finished gluing February and am ready to put it out.  I stitched most of the rest of the day.  Two trips to the dog park. Steve came ready to go to Taco Tuesday but I had dinner in the oven.  We got our check from POS. Steve is thrilled.  Then we opened our other mail and realized the bank account we gave everyone was wrong so I guess we will be back on the phone in the morning.   Dam it.  I retired to the bedroom for TV cuddles and stitching. 

January 30, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up at the normal time but had to leave by 9:30 for my echocardiogram.   The found a small hole in my heart which probably caused my stroke. I was born with it.  Normally it closed up. Mine did not.  They should have found it back in April at Optima.  I am not impressed with optima.  Will have to have a follow up appointment  next Monday. Then when I  returned to the car I found out that POS finally sent out money back to us.  Steve was happy.  Then this morning when I woke up I thought my sight was really taking a downturn.  But then later on I realized that one of the lenses in my glasses was missing.  And so was the screw. So after the doctor appointment we had to run up to Lenscrafters to have them fix and adjust our glasses.  Finally Shopping at Fry's.   Finally home for afternoon stitching and a dog park run . Dinner.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.   

January 29, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Quit day at the house. Steve worked.  I did 3 loads of laundry. I worked on February in the craft room.  Other than that we did a dog park run.  Very cold and windy. I stitched the rest of  the day. Watched football  with Steve and stitched . Finally it will be time for shower and bed. 

January 28, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up at normal time about 7:30.  Neither one of us had a plan for the day so we packed a lunch and headed out.  We checked out the Rugar factory.  Then the gun show at Arizona downs which was Steve's ulterior motive for going. Then we headed out to Yarnell thru Skull Valley.  We stopped for a potty break and bag lunch at the park in Yarnell. Then back thru Willhoit.  We stopped for a quick car wash.  Finally home .  We did a dog park run and I stitched.   An early dinner and card Bingo to complete the day.  

January 27, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up about 7:30 . Breakfast and chores.  Then Steve went to work and I piddled around the house.  Talked to Betty' for an hour.  Then went in the craft room for awhile.  Then stitching  for the rest of the day. Couple of dog park runs.  Terry and Eve asked uo to go out for Pizza.  Steve okayed it when he came home.  We went to Guido's in PV.  Then home. Finally time for TV cuddles and stitching, 

January 26, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up on the late side. Steve went to work. Wendy and I went to the crafter's get together. There were 3 others.  We only stayed till 11. Wendy didn't have much staying power.  Then home.  I continued to stitch and rip out . Steve got home just after 2.  A dog park run. Dinner was left overs.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.   

January 25, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up and out of the house by 8:30. We went out for a great breakfast at Jen's. Then got the car washed. Then Pet Smart. Finally Costco.   Came back for a dog park run.  Then lunch. Steve went to work at and I stitched and watched TV.  We had pot pies when Steve came home and it was bedtime. No time for cuddles or stitching. 

January 24, 2023 0rchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Had a good night sleep. Sophie slept through the night.  Breakfast. Steve decided it would be a good day to go see a movie. Morning chores and stitch.   Left to see the movie at 12:30. I was prepared not to like it nut I did.  A Man Called Otto.  Then home.  Dinner was hamburger Strognanoff.   Clean up then it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

January 23, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home , Dewey AZ

 Today we were out and about early.  Sophie had us up at 6 and Steve was hot to leave by 8.  It was snowy in Prescott.   Came home and started calling to change over our automatic payments to the new bank. What a pain and so frustrating.   How Steve succeeded in his work I will never know.  We went to Tractor Supply  to get new leashes for the dogs. Then we went to Mayer in search of Bank of the West.  It was closed.   Then back to Glassford Hill.  No Bank of the west. Came home and fiddles around some more. I was ready to reach through the phone and strangle the robot at Clear Springs.  Finally we did our dog park run. Then a quick dinner.  TV cuddles and stitching to close the night.

January 22, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Finally finished the 0wl.  Friday. So glad.  We got up early since Steve had to be at work.  I has a nice day. 3 loads of laundry.  Finished Jim's letter.  Trip to the dog park.  Steve got home from work shortly after 4.  I cooked chicken thighs in the oven. We watched the niners game.  Finally we went our separate ways and watched TV.   

January 21, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

We slept in late. It was 8 before I got up.  I decided to fix breakfast for Steve. Too late to do breakfast out on a Saturday.   I piddled around the the craft room for awhile and Steve worked outside on his projects till it was time for the game.  I walked the dogs.   We had an early dinner and jumped in the car to go to card Bingo.  Got down there and realized that there would not be Bingo as there was a private party in the roundhouse.   We made a loop and came back home and went our separate ways.   Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.   

January 20, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Well the dreaded appointment is done.  More tests in store however. Moreover BP was down tonight.  Woke up to snow this morning.   Very chilly out.  Got up super early this morning . We were home by 10.  Dog park run.  Steve left for work.  We made some changes on our insurances. I finally finished the Owl . Now onto the nut cracker Village.  It will definitely be a challenge.   Steve actually came home early with all kinds of goodies.  I started preparing for the nutcracker Village.  I finished the evening with TV and cuddles. 

January 19, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Steve decided not to go to carving so we ended up doing the grocery shopping.  Then we did the dog park and Steve left for work. He worked til 8. Do not like these late night shifts.  Ruins my routine.   We had dinner when he came home.  I am almost finished with the owl. Thank goodness.   I did one more dog park run around 4.  Plenty of TV.   Doc appointment tomorrow.   

January 18, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We are licensed in AZ.  To drive. My heart was racing most of the night so it is a good thing that I am going to the cardiologist on Friday.  We were up early  so we could get there before the crowd.  We drove around afterward did a couple of errands. Then home to stitch the rest of the day.  Blood pressure is still high.  Trip to dog park. Visit with Fords.  BBQ  brats for dinner. Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.

January 17, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Steve was up and out the door early.  To have the windshield replaced.  He was home about 11. Then we went to the bank to set up the auto pay for the car. Finally Walmart.  I have an appointment with the cardiologist on Friday which is good since my blood pressure has been up for some reason.  Came home for lunch.  Stitched for awhile. Then Steve decided that he did not want chicken tenders for dinner so we did Taco Tuesday at Casa Perez.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

January 16, 2023 orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Well I think Colleen and I are done being friends.  She has stopped texting almost completely.   Oh well. I lost my 92 wordle streak today.  Less pressure.  Again oh well.  Rainy and cold all day.  Got up late one of the perks of his working.  I got motivated and made a batch of cookies. I did not care for them but Steve liked them.  I stitched the rest of the day and watched movies.  Left over spaghetti  for dinner. Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

January 15, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Laundry day at the McCrumbs.  Got up and fixed Steve some breakfast.  He was off to work. I remained at home where I did 3 loads of laundry.  2 trips to the dog park. Stitched and watched movies. Dreary day.  Football games abound.  I watched more movies after dinner with cuddles and stitching. 

January 14, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We  got up late and did chores. Breakfast . Steve decided that we needed to go to Walmart.  I sat in the car and waited.  What sparked the trip was his need to go to the hardware store. He changed his mind. Then we stopped at papa Murphy's for a pizza.  Spent the rest of the day stitching.  Couple of trips to dog park . We watched the San Francisco game.  Go 9ers.  Early dinner then card Bingo.   Sat with Allen .  Home for a little TV.  

January 13, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Not much exciting to report.  Got up on the late side. Breakfast, chores.  Steve worked outside in the shop. I stitched most of the day.  Couple of trips to the dog park.  We had an early dinner with the Fords at chili's.   Then home for TV cuddles and more stitching.

 We got up on the late side. Steve went to carving. I baked two loaves of banana bread.  Steve came home and hung out until it was time for him to go to work. I had a telephone appointment with the neurologist.  Other than that two trips to the dog park.  Took canning jars to Christine and banana bread to Fords.  Of course they drove up while I was parked in the drive way.  A quick dinner for me.  Steve got home at 8:16. Don't like the late night shifts.  Finally got some screen time in the bedroom with the dogs

 Quiet day.  .I am a card carrying member of the Prescot Library.   Wendy and I went there  and got our cards this morning.  Stitched the rest of the day. Two trips to the dog park. Fords are home.  Dinner. Then TV cuddles and stitching.   Boring day.  Love it.

January 10, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up about 7:30. Breakfast and chores.  We had  a breakfast burritos.  Chores.  Hung out around the house. Stitched. Dog park.  Lunch.  Virtual meeting with thousand trails.  Trip to Lowes and Hobby Lobby.  Dinner was left over pot roast. Then we went down to the round house for Bert Grey's 102nd birthday.   They served cake.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.

Today was a quiet day. Steve went to work at 11.  I stitched most of the day. Steve came home at 5.  Two trips to the dog park. Dinner and finally TV cuddles and stitching.  

January 8, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 What a busy day. I got up and made breakfast for Steve avocado toast.   Then I made jello salad and a crockpot pot  roast . I ended up having to do the bed sheets. Three loads of laundry washed dryed and folded.  Cleaned the oven. Ran the dishwasher.  Gave the dogs a bath. 2 trips to the dog park and some stitching.   Dinner and cleanup.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. I called Sandy at her birthday celebration and was able to wish her Happy Birthday while they were all at Dairy Queen. 

January 7, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Well 2ctear old Buzaro Steve reared his ugly head today.  He asked for breakfast then wanted to leave for shopping early .  I told hime 9:30 or 10 and he made a snarky comment.  So we ended up leaving right after breakfast  around 9.  But I got the silent treatment all day.    Went to Walmart for a prescription and supplies.  Then home to unload.  He finally took the Christmas lights down and took them to storage.  An early dinner. The off to card Bingo.   We didn't do anything as far as winning.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles but no time for stitching. 

January 6, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home , Dewey AZ

 Got early for us since we both had dentist appointments.   We went to those. Then we went to Frys.  Home to unload.  Two trips to the dog park.  Then we hung out at the house. Ar 4:30 we picked up Terry and Eve and went to Red Lobster for dinner.   It was nice but we will see where and how the relationship goes.  Finally it was time to watch TV with cuddles and stitching. 

 

January 5, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

I sat up and read till 1 am.  Then up at 8.  Steve left for work at 10 so he could visit with his carving friends.   I got busy today and organized things in the quilt room. Vacuumed and cleaned the bathtub in the hall bath.  Did some stitching.   2 trips to the dog park.  Stitched.   Spaghetti leftovers for dinner.  Then finished the evening with TV cuddles and stitching.  Wendy and I have a plan for next week!

January 4, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up at 8.  Breakfast and chores.  Hung out at the house till it was time for Steve to leave for work.  Made up several chicken cordon bleu. Had one for dinner. Trip to the dog park. Stopped at trailer. Stitching.  Finished my January Mug.  More stitching.  Steve got home around 6:15 after he bought out the store.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.  

January 3, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 It was snowing about 9 I got to sleep in this morning to 8:45.  Hurrah for melatonin which Steve took.  After breakfast and chores we jumped in the car and headed first to the Post Office then the copy store finally Hobby Lobby and Home depot.  Came home for stitching and TV.   Nice have Steve home.  I made spaghetti sauce for dinner. Guess having Steve work makes having him home a treat.  Also found an author I really like.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.   

January 2, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up. Made breakfast.  Cleaned up.  Dressed.  Stitched.  Steve went to work.  Two trips to dog park. Steve got home about 6. At least we have something to talk about. His work. Finished February calendar mug. Mostly boring day.  Watched football.  They cancelled the games a player was severely injured.  Very sad.  Finished the day with TV cuddles and stitching.  

January 1, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 It's a brand new year.  Steve was off and running bt 8:30.  I did laundry and puttered around the house. Today was Hazel's 8th birthday.   She must have twisted her leg as she was limping half the day but she seems to have recovered. I got alot of stitching done. We we supposed to go to Golden Corral but they canceled as it rained and snowed real bad.  So Steve  and I jumped in the car and went to the Canton Dragon for Chinese.   It was snowing pretty hard when I took the girls out to potty.  Normal routine or TV cuddles and stitching to round out the night.
