March 31, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up  about 7:30. We had coffee and a biscotti.   Did chores.  Steve put the new wheels on the cart.  Then we took off first to the car wash. Then Costco.  Finally Fry's.  We had to put all the groceries away. Then we did a dog park run. We stopped to visit the Fords.  Then we asked shoes the local dumpster diver if he wanted the old tires which he did.  By the time we got home it was time to get ready for our dinner date with the Valdez's.  It was very fun.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.   Great last day of the month.  

March 30, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Well I got a reprieve from the doc.  Said they wanted to make my procedure later in the day so I would have to spend the night in the hospital.  So I pushed it to the 17th much earlier in the day.  We got up on the Late  side . Breakfast . Steve packaged up an Amazon return.  I had to print the label for the poor boy.  I stitched most of the day.  This is a very intricate pattern. Two trips to dog park. I made spaghetti for dinner.  Steve  said it snowed near Tractor.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and more stitching.  Another day and the month will be over.

March 28, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We started out early to Phoenix and Steve's check for his implant.  Our first stop was Woodworker Source.  Steve got some wood.  Then we checked out the Abrezo Heart Hospital where I will have my procedure done on Monday. Then Ray Road for Hobby Lobby.  Then we were going to check out some custom motorcycle seat upholstery but half way there we decided to call instead of drive out there.  Finally it was time for Steve's appointment at Az Perio.  Then headed home. Gas stop at the Maverick.  Steve was home long enough for a snack then off to work.  I stitched until Steve came home.  Then bedtime routine.  

March 27, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 My day did not go as planned. We got up coffee and breakfast.  Could not get the wordle.  I was planning on working in the craft room. But Colleen came over to get a box. I had laundry going. She stayed till 11.  Continued with laundry. Took dogs to dog park.  Didn't get to stitch till almost 1:30.  4 loads of laundry.  Clean sheets on bed.  Another trip to dog park.   I made south western wraps for dinner.  1 week from today and hopefully my procedures will be over and I will be home resting and recuperating.   Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

March 26 , 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Steve slept in this morning.   We got up leisurely.  Breakfast. Then we hunted down the bag of pennies we needed for our game. Gave the house the once over.  Steve actually vacuumed the carpet. I dusted.   Eve and Terry came about one.  We played Rummy royal til about 4:30.  Then I walked the dogs. Once they were fed we went to Tailgaters fir Pizza.   Terry had wings.  We were nine by 6:30 ish.  It was fun.  But I felt bad about not inviting the Fords but that's the way it goes.  They don't think twice about doing things without us.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

March 25, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Another quiet day at home.  Slept in late. Breakfast and chores.  Sat down to sew and of course Steve decided to go out to the trailer and get a few things.  And the safe.  Then home to stitch. Finished my nutcracker Village segment.   We had an early dinner. Then Steve was off to work.  Stitching and TV for me.  Trip to dog park. Then off to card Bingo.   No wins for me.  Steve came home . Ice cream and bedtime.

March 24, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 There was a catastrophe in the quilt room.i sliced my may mug.  Fortunately I was able to put it back together enough to get it glued onto the board. I would have hated to have to redo it.  Anyway I spent most of the morning in the quilt room.  I have almost finished my portion of the Nutcracker Village.   The I can start on the fox.  Couple of dog park runs.  Colleen is really irritating me lately.  She is so controlling.   She texted me that she went to JoAnn's like she is taunting me.  She can't commit to anything.  Of well.  Steve worked at 5.  I stitched and got ready for bed while he was gone.  The girls all called to wish me happy Birthday  which was nice.  The routine is definitely screwed up. 

March 23, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

We got up leisurely.  Steve went to carving.  I worked in the craft room for awhile.  Then back to stitching.  It has been very cold here. The weather is crazy.  We went to dinner as scheduled.  We picked up Fords and met the Burczyks at Red Lobster.  Colleen was texting on her phone at dinner and all the way home.  I think I will back off on that relationship.  She is a stick in the mud.  The only reason she leaves the house for is eating out or shopping.   Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

March 22, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Happy Birthday to me. 71 years old.  The electricity was off as we woke up but came on before we could get up.  Breakfast.  It was a good day.  We got the truck back.  So we went and got it.  We did all kinds of errands. Battery in trailer was dead.  So all the things we were going to do will have to wait. Truck is gassed and back in storage.  Got some stitching  done . Having dinner with friends tomorrow.  Heard from Sandy and Betty.   Baked some blondies which turned out good.  Steve went to work.   Haven't heard a peep from the girls which is strange.   Steve's work had played havoc with my routine.

March 21, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Rain and cold all day.  One day till I am 71.  Hope I make till 72. Too cold to walk the dogs even.  Stitched all day.  Steve thought he passed another kidney stone but I am not so sure.   He hung out at the house all say till it was time to go to work. Not much to report.  I went over to Colleen's for about an hour. We had left overs for dinner.  Steve works till 9 :30.  Destroys my fo to bed routine. 

March 20, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

Steve was up at the crack of dawn. I finally got up at 6:30.  The man just can not stand to be alone.  We had breakfast and did our chores then we were off on errands.  We started at office Max for the new shredder. Then we hit Hobby Lobby for wall decor. Then Fry's.  Finally we got hone to put away groceries. Before we could take the dogs Steve felt compelled to install the shredder and shed some docs.  Unbelievable.   Dog park run.  The girls some stitching in.  We had Jim from carving over for dinner.  We chatted for quite awhile.  Steve BBQ'ed ribs in the new Egg bbq.   They were ok but he definitely needs more practice.  Much too much rub.  Cleaned up the mess. Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

March 19, 2023 Orchard Ranch home, Dewey AZ Ranch

 We got breakfast and chores.  Steve decided to go get the BBQ from tractor supply.   He commandeered Jim and his truck and they went and got it. Then Mike and Colleen to helped unload it.  I worked in the quilt room for awhile.  Colleen and Mike stayed for a short visit.  Dog park run.  There loads of laundry. Run to Tractor Supply for pellets and a cover. Eve and Terry dropped by for a short visit.  We BBQ'ed steaks. I set the potato bag on fire in the microwave.  Not sure why as I have used it before. House still smells smoky.   Finally time for TV cuddles and stitching.   

March 18, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up and had breakfast.   Chores and ease into the morning.  Steve went out to work on intarsia.  Terry came over to check out Steve's work . I had to run into the bedroom as I was not dressed as yet.  I finally finished May mug.  Steve went to work and I went to Card Bingo.  It ran really late. Sat with Eve and Terry.  And Martha. She is a kick in the pants but she and Eve talked quite a bit and I kind of felt left out.  Oh well.  Steve finally bought BBQ he wanted. Worked til 9:30. Better start the shower routine. 

March 17, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Well it was a fun and busy day today . We got up at the normal time.  Breakfast and chores . Left at 10 to go pick up the motorcycle in Mayer.  Checked out Hardass Custom bike but they were closed.  Picked up the bike and drove home.  Steve thought we were going to have to go back to get the keys.  They put them in the saddlebags.  Then off to At Home were we finally got lamps and a cushion for the seat on the porch.  We did not go to the pot luck since they were serving corn beef and cabbage.  Steve detained the bike while I stitched.  Then we went to karaoke night at the club house.  It was really fun.  We left shortly after 8.  Then we begin the night time routine.

March 16, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got my date for the pacemaker.  April 3rd.  Got up about the same time.  Breakfast and chores.  Went to book club with Colleen. I think I talked too much at the meeting.   We were there about hour and 15 minutes. Then I dropped Colleen off and went home and dipped the pretzel rods.  Took the dogs to the dog park. Then stitched the rest of the day. Sophie got out again.   Steve was home at 5. Chicken alfredo for dinner. Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.  .

March 15, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Fun day today.  Breakfast and chores.  Rain off and on all day.  Steve went to work.  Colleen and I went to HL on our own without husbands. Spent way too much money.  Then Asian Bistro for lunch.  Back to the house for stitching.  Steve came home around 5.  Steak salads for dinner. Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

March 14, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Busy day. Started out with breakfast and chores. Steve picked up his intarsia. Then we went to another activity meeting. Then we went to Walmart and Fry's.   Put all the groceries away. Steve got called into work.   They also added two Saturday shifts.  We ended up not getting the motorcycle.  It looked like rain.  It was not done so why rush it.  We BBQ'ed brats and Steve left for work.  I took the dogs to the dog park and picked up the mail. Then stitching rest of the night.

March 13, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home m, Dewey AZ

 Well I beat Steve almost getting up. He was in the shower when I hit the bathroom.  Breakfast and chores. I was planning on shopping but Steve was not.  So I stitched and watched TV while he did his intarsia.  He doesn't get as much opportunity as I do to work on his craft.  So I did not make a big deal over it.  I took the dogs at lunch.  Colleen asked me to lunch tomorrow but we settled on Wednesday.  I about fell over when she included lunch with the JoAnn's and HL run.  We BBQED steak for dinner. After dinner we rushed out to find the Airbnb where the girls supposedly are staying but we could not find it. Finally it was time for TV  cuddles and stitching.  

March 12, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 They was a nice sunny day.  Started the laundry. Cooked Steve breakfast.  He spent most of the day outside working on his intarsia. I worked on the laundry and stitching.  Picked up the table for the porch. We stopped by Burczyk's on the afternoon dog park run.  Steve didn't really want to BBQ so we finished the spring rolls  for dinner.   The girls got an Airbnb near us.  Stickney's will come the 24th of April.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

March 11, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

Today did not go as planned.  Got up. Breakfast and chores. Sat down to stitch and Steve decided we should go for a road trip to Fountain Hills.  What is in Fountain Hills a fountain of course.   Theat spews green water no less.  Located near Scottsdale.   Then circled back to payson for a late lunch at Filaderbetos.  Bad.  Then hone . Stopped for gas and a wash. Dog park. Then home. Then it was time for card Bingo.  We met a new couple that we really enjoyed.  Pat and Gary.  Been married 58 years.  Came home for a dash of TV and cuddles.   

March 10, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Busy day.  We got up at normal time. By nine we were on the way to ban of America to close out our accounts.  Then over to one AZ  finally we stopped to check on the truck. Sometime next week.  Came home. Did a gmdogs park run. Then I followed Steve to the Harley shop in Mayer. They are servicing the motorcycle.  We had a mediocre lunch in cordes Lake. Will not go back to the 50's diner. Then home.  Wendy wants us to take Geri to the card Bingo.  She lives on our street.  Stitching then dog park run. We stopped at the Fords for a visit.  Scored some chair pads.  Then hone no one was interested in dinner.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

March 9, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up at 7:30. Breakfast dress and chores.  Gave the dogs a bath.  They really loved that. Not! The stitching for me.  Steve decided not to go to carving. He worked on the puzzle all and fought with sophie the rest of the day.  He acted like a 2 year old.  Sophie was so upset she didn't finish her dinner.  Then at 4:30 we got picked up by Eve and Terry in their new car.  We ran into the Fords walking down Windmill.  We went to a Chinese place by Cracker Barrel.   It was really good. Even better than Canton Dragon.  Then home.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

March 8, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up about 7.  Stitched most of the morning while I worried about going to the doctor's.  We did our normal dog park run. Then went to the doctors.  In about a month I will get a pace maker put in to regulate my heart. We came home and Steve went to Work. I took the dogs to the dog park.  Then visited a minute with Colleen.  Then home for more stitching and relaxing.  Dinner was pot pies.  Watched TV . Then bed and cuddles. 

March 7, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Tomorrow is the big day for the arrhythmia doctor.  Today I was able to sleep a little later.  Steve must have got up on the wrong side of the bed.  He worked in the carport for awhile.  Took the dogs for a  dog park run. Stopped and saw Terry and Eve's new car.  When we got home Steve was really grumpy.  He got an email from Travis that ourctruck payment was past due.  He was on hold forever with the bank.   Good thing he was going to work.  He even came home in a funk. I stitched most of the day till my eyes gave out.  I ran over to Colleen's and dropped off her cutter.  Then the mail and dog park.  Later dinner of grilled cheese sandwiches.  I then escaped into the bedroom to get away from the grinch.  

March 6, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Our day atarred early as my darling husband scheduled a car repair for 8 am in Prescott.   So off we went at 7:15 am.  Ugh.  But we were in and out in less than an hour.  Then we hit Bosa donuts near the JoAnn's.  Then Hobby Lobby.  Kohl's former bras. Which are wonderful.   Then Fry's.  Finally home . Put everything away. Colleen came over to help me make a decision on a stitching project. But really to get fabric.  Then I got some stitching done while Steve put the porch chair put together.  I took the dogs to the dog park. Dinner. Cleanup.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

March 5, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Steve left for work at the crack of dawn they were having a quarterly meeting.  I did laundry.  Two trips to the dog park. Stitched most of the day.  TV after dinner.  

Very unhappy with Colleen right now. She is a very controlling person.  Putting distance between us.  Will have to look elsewhere for a bestie.  They are few and far between. 

March 4, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up leisurely.  Steve decided that he wanted to put together the glide we bought for the front porch. It was supposed to take us only 45 minutes. We ser the record at 3 hours. Bo time for shopping.  Fords stopped by to check it out. They were considering getting one but Colleen decided against it.  Stitched in the afternoon.  We had an early dinner. Card bingo. Sat with Terry and Eve. I won once.  Then home. No time to stitch.  

March 3, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up about 7:45.  Sophie was up at 6:30.  I made breakfast.  We had a seat over a fork. The heater guy came.  We had an Amazon delivery.   I stitched.  Couple of dog park runs. Steve played with his new sander.  About 4 we decided to go to Tractor Supply  to pick up our new front porch glider.  The we dined by ourselves at Casa Perez.  We decided we are tired of asking the Fords to do stuff but the never ask us.  The only thing that like to do is eat out together.  Then Steve had to stop for gas and a car wash. Finally we came home and it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.  

March 2, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up. Canceled the heater guy as the roads were still yucky.  Still cold out but the sun melted most of the snow.  I stitched.   Steve worked on the puzzle and shoveled snow accumulations.  He went to work at three.  I finally was able to get the dogs to the dog park.  We had pot pies for dinner.   Pretty boring day all in all.  

March 1, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 The promised snow storm came.  Snowed from about noon on . About 4 inches. I puttered around in the craft room.  Mostly stitched.  Steve went to work.  He came home early.  Snow has interrupted the TV  satelite reception.   Too bad we can't stream.   Not alot to report.
