 I was woken up at 7. We had a lazy morning.  Breakfast chores and crosswords. We both used the elipse.   Then we decided to take a ride over to kanab UT. It was about 150 miles round trip.  Beautiful scenery.  Then home  for TV and stitching.   

Saturday May 30, 2026, Roam Horseshoe Bend, Page AZ

 We got up about 7. Breakfast chores . Then we packed up and we're on the road by 10 as planned.  We gained an hour by changing time zones again. Arrived about 12:30.    We drove about 200 miles stopping in Kayenta for gas and lunch.  We have good service here.   Homeward bound.  Haircuts will have to wait.  TV and stitching the restvof the night.   

Friday May 29, 2026, Cadillac Ranch RV Park, Bluff UT

 I got up about 8. Breakfast chores and crosswords.  The coffee pot did not brew correctly.  What a mess. Very windy 25 to 30 mile an hour winds. Sophie was a basket case.  Sat home all day . TV and stitching  most of the day.  Tomorrow we head to Page  our last sto before we head home.  

Thursday May 28, 2026, Cadillac Ranch RV Park, Bluff UT

 Got to sleep in till 8 this morning.  Crackers and coffee. Chores . I made Steve scrambled eggs this morning.  Then I did crosswords while I used the eclipse.  We had no plans for the day so we decided to check out Blanding 25 miles away and Monticello another 20. Coming back we took a mountain road thru Manis la sal national forest to the southern entrance of Canyonlands National Park . We saw alot of beautiful rock  Formations.   Then home about 4:30.  Then TV and stitching.  Leftovers for dinner.

Wednesday, May 27. 2026, Cadillac Ranch RV Park, Bluff UT

 We left Beautiful Pegosa Springs about 10 this morning.  We got up about 7. Breakfast chores and crosswords.  Then we slowly got packed up.  We travelled about 180 miles to Bluff going through Colorado,  Arizona, New Mexico then finally Utah.  We have cell service here and we got paramount back on the TV and working.  We arrived and set up at about 3:15.  Then TV and stitching the rest of the night. We stopped for gas and a much needed potty break in Cortez.  Then we found a Love's down the road for lunch.  The dogs went to the dog park at Love's!!

Tuesday May 26, 2025, Pagosa Springs RV Park, Pegosa Springs CO

 Steve was up before 7. That means I was too. He claimed I get upset when he picks all the programs. That is the pot calling the kettle black.  Any way we had breakfast,  chores and got started on a crossword.  Then about nine we left for errands in town.  Stopped at Les Schwab  to the the tires torque and pressure checked.  Then Walmart and a fill up. Stopped to look at the hot springs in town. Then  we decided to go to the Wild animal park and zoo.  The walk just about did me in.  We saw bears, porcupine, Bob cats, red fox, mountain lion and other good stuff.  It started to rain just as we got there. Then home.  Finally after a quick lunch it  was time to stitch.  Made spaghetti.   It was good.  Cleaned up the mess.  TV and stitching the restvof the night.

Monday May 25. 2026, PegosaSprings RV Park, Pegosa Springs CO

 I finally got up about 8. Breakfast chores crosswords.  A nice lazy day in the park.  Stitched most of the day. Steve got in a snit as I wanted to watch something other than what he was planning on.  Rained most of the afternoon.   Nice cuddle weather.   Ready to go find cell service so we can stream.

Sunday, May 25, 2026, Pegosa Springs RV Park, Pegosa Springs CO

 We were up at 7. Crackers Coffee and chores.  Rush budget has us out the door by 8:30. Breakfast at the junction.  The grocery shopping at The local Walmart and City Market.   Then home to put it all away.  Then we drove out about 40 miles to Chama New Mexico . Turned around and came home but not before checking out Dulce which is on the Apache Reservation.  Very junky. Then home for games,  stitching and TV.  Thank heavens we had recorded a few things to watch.

Saturday May 23, 2026, Pegosa Springs RV Park, Pegosa Springs CO

 We got up about 7:30.  Breakfast chores and crosswords.  Then we were off to Les Schwab in town since the phones were not working well.  Steve decided to put new tires on so we sat in the waiting room for a couple of hours.  Then over to Ace Hardware . Then home. Finally got to stitch for awhile.   Andci do mean short while.  Leftovers for dinner.   Betty called talked for awhile.  Love the campground.  Wish they has better cell service. 

Friday, May 23, 2026, Pegosa Springs RV Park. Pegosa Springs CO

 Sophie gotvus up about 6:30, Coffee and crackers.  Chores  crosswords.  Then I made fried eggs and hamburger patties for breakfast.   Cleaned up the mess.  Thencwe had a nice quiet day at home.  About 4 we drove to the Tractor Supply about 10 miles away to pick up a few items and got fish and chips from ON THE HOOK truck. Very yummy.  Home for TV and stitching. 

Thursday May 21, 2026, Pegosa Springs RV Park, Pegosa Springs CO

 We gotvup about 7. Breakfast chores crosswords. The tech came and fixed our hot water problem.  A switch got stuck underneath.  We have hot water.  Can't wait to shower. It took less than 20 minutes to fix it. Then we hopped in the truck to Durango. First stop Walmart.  Glasses fixed.  Drinks and waters bought.  Then we tried to find the Att store to no avail.  Then. Truck wash.  Durangobis anoutvan hour away.  Come back for lunch at the Malt shop. Amazing burger and shake.  Finally back about 2.  Neither of us was up for dinner.  TV and stitching thecrest of the night..

Wednesday May 20, 2026 Pegosa Springs, RV Resort, Pegosa Springs, CO

 Thank goodness we are here for a week. We went 1000 miles in 4 days! I told Steve as we went to bed that this was supposed to be a vacation not an endurance test. So the day started off with him being in a snit. I got up at 6:30. He was awake since 5:30 but stayed in bed.  I got busy and made lunches, fed the dogs and put their harnesses on.  Breakfast a couple of swallows of coffee.  We finished packing up and we're on the road by 8: 10.  We drove about 300 miles. Made a wrong turn so we stopped in front of the grave yard to use the potty.  Then we were off. We stopped for gas and headed to a rest stop about a hundred miles  away which turned out to be closed. So we stopped at a gas station and ate lunch.  Then we headed to Pegosa Springs via Wolf Creek Pass. Very twisty and turny. Very steep grades.   The park is about 10 miles out of town.  Fortunately they have wonderful internet and we can stream to our hearts content.  We collapsed the rest of the day.  Steve finally exploded.  

Tuesday May 19, 2026, Sundance-High Plains RV Park. Lamar Co

 We got up at the crack of dawn about 6:30. Breakfast chores and packing up . Headed over to the RV dump at 8:15 and on the road by 8:30.  We drove about 300 miles.  We arrived about 1:45.  Easy set up.  Thought we had blown a tire but after we found a place to stop on the way to Dodge City and checked  . Everything thank the Lord was OK.  We collapsed in front of the TV.   Quick dinner.   We stopped for a potty break in Dodge City at a Loves where we got tangled up in their parking lot. Then over to Flying J for the actual gas.  Finally we stopped for a very nice lunch at a rest stop.  Cooler here.  Last night tgecwind blew very hard.  Seemed like the toppers were going to be blown off but they were OK this morning.   Thank heavens we missed the Tornados!

Monday, May, 18, 2026, Anthony City Park, Anthony KS

 Got up about 7:30. Breakfast chores and crosswords.  Stevexwas itching to get out of the house so we went to Anthony and filled up with Deisel.  Then checked out the city proper.  The we checked out Medicine Lodge about 30 miles down the rode that we will travel on tomorrow.  Came back in time fori lunch. Then TV and stitching.  Still real windy.   Keeping an eye on the weather. Thunder storms probable.  Saw some lightning.   Glad to be on the road tomorrow. Two weeks till we are home. 

Sunday, May 17, 2026, Anthony City Lake, Anthony, KS

 We were up by 7 and on the road by 8:30. Breakfast chores packing up.  We drove about 350 miles.  Two lane Hwy most of the way.   Stopped for potty once. Once for lunch and gas.  I almost got to finish my sandwich. Have decided to take a cold shower here as the park showers   are less than best. We arrived about 4.  We basically snacked for dinner.  Boring drive. Wind is blowing. Sophie is very anxious.  

Saturday May 16, 2026, Treasure Lake RV Park, Branson MO

 Today was our last day here. Getting closer to home. Got up about 7. Breakfast chores and crosswords.  Then I sorted the laundry and we were off.  4 loads washed dried and folded.  I helped Steve put on clean sheets.  I am embarrassed to say I started a washer but forgot to put the clothes in.  Then home for lunch.  About 2 we took a ride around the Park to pick up actank of propane that was refilled.  Dinner TV and stitching.   Started the pickup so we can get an early start in the morning.   

Friday May 15, 2026, Treasure Lake RV Park, Branson MO

I got woke up about 7 by guess who.  Coffee and crackers, chores.  Then we left for breakfast at Paul's Breakfast House. It was wonderful.  We were full the rest of the day. Then we explored the outlying areas of Branson. Silver City. Tons of resorts. Table rock lake then back home.  Saw the marina.  Then I caught up on games and crosswords.  Finally TV and stitching the rest of the night.

Thursday, May 14, 2026, Treasure Lake RV Park, Branson MO

 Got up shortly after 7. Breakfast chores and crosswords.   Then Steve and I took off for our cart tour of the Ozark Nature preserve. It was cool but not worth the price.  10 dollars to park. 100 dollars entry fee.  We got there about 9:30.  As we were leaving at 11 two bus losds were arriving to an already long line.  Sophie pitched a fit when we left then took it out on Hazel so we had to separate them when we left.  Home for lunch.  Then stitching and TV thecrest of the day. 

Wednesday May 14, 2026, Treasure Lake RV Park, Branson MO

 We got up about 7. Breakfast chores and crosswords.   Steve went up on the roof ans disassembled the satellite dish.  The arm is about  $300 plus to replace.  I think it have him talked into streaming DirecTV.   Once that was done with no mishaps we ate a quick lunch.  Then off to Walmart  and the grocery store.  Home  to put it all away. Then TV and stitching the rest of day and evening.

Tuesday May 12, 2026, Treasure Lake RV, Branson MO

 Got up about 7.  Breakfast chores and we were packed up and on the way by 9.  Stopped for gas at the station near the park. Then we drove about 225 miles.  Stopped for a potty break and the gas potty break and lunch.  This park is huge.  Took us a few minutes to find a spot and it was almost 4 by the time we got set up.  Steve will work on the satellite tomorrow.   Ugh

Monday May, 11, 2026, Delta Ridge RV Park, Forrest City, AR

 We got up about 6:45.  Breakfast chores and crosswords.  We slowly got packed up and we're on the road about 11.  We drove about 200 miles . Stopped for lunch and potty at noon. We pulled into the park at . Got set up 2:30. Tried to put the Satellite up but it decided to stall.  Steve went on the roof three times to try to secure it.  Finally we were able to relax.  We thought about canceling at Pegosa Springs as they have no cell service there. Talked to them and they provide internet service there.   No TV for a week seemed daunting.   No game shows for about three weeks. How will we survive!!

Sunday, May 10, 2026, Buffalo I40 KOA, Hurricane Mills, TN

 I got up at 8. Coffee and chores. Steve cooked me a very nice breakfast of eggs, bacon and pancakes.  He even cleaned up the mess.  Then we jumped in the truck and headed to Waverly to go to tractor supply and Walmart.  Only the way back we went to mail things at the Hurricane Mills post office which turned out to be at the Loretta Lynn Ranch.  Stopped for gas. Came home to put it away. Then relaxed. TV and stitching.

Saturday May 9, 2026, Buffalo I40 KOA, Hurricane Mills, TN

 We both slept in late. Breakfast chores and crosswords.  A day of rest.  Started cross stitching about noon. At 5 we went down the road to The Log Cabin for a very nice dinner. Then home for more stitching.   Talked to Betty for about 30 minutes.   Finished another round about. 

Friday May 8, 2026, Buffalo I40 KOA, Hurricane Mills TN

 Got up before 7 so we could be ready to leave at 8:30.  Coffee and crackers chores and a partial crossword. Then at 8:30 we were off . Drove 90 miles.  Moose made a wonderful breakfast of eggs bacon and biscuits and gravy.   Had a great time making with Susan.  Left there about 1:30 and headed to Costco to pick up a few necessities. Then home by 4. Steve abandoned the correct exit and we had to drivec10 miles out of the way.  Home in time for the dog park.put everything away.  Finished my crossword. Then quick dinner.  Finally i got som stitching done.  Castle Gwyne on I 840

Thursday May 7, 2026, Buffalo I40 KOA, Hurricane Mills, TN

 Got up about 7. Coffee and crackers,  chores.  Then we were off to Breakfast at Loretta Lynn's Breakfast house.   Not great.  Best in the area which is scary.  Then we made a loop thru Waverly  to Pilot Knob.  Went thru some very rural roads on the historic Trail of Tears.  Then we turned around and came home around 2.  Then after having words about Steve need to visit the world it was TV and stitching the rest of the night. Walked the dogs to the dog park.

Wednesday May 6, 2026, Buffalo I40 KOA, Hurricane Mills, TN

 Got up about 6 to go potty.  Read for awhile,  wordle. Steve woke up about 6:30.  Breakfast chores.  Then we started to pack up. Pouring rain. Drenched by the time we were ready to leave.  Broke camp and on the road by 9.  250 miles and 5 hours later we made it to the camp. Stopped for potty and lunch. Once for gas. Raining when we got here.  Quick set up. As soon as the rain stopped took the dogs on a rather long walk.  Then stitching and TV the rest of the night.

Tuesday May 5, 2026, Sweetwater KOA, Sweetwater , TN

 Goot up at 8:30. Breakfast chores and crosswords and spinning.  Long walk with the dogs.  Then over to Amy and Jim's. About 12. They had 4 big dogs.  The girls are pooped.  Huge yard to play in. Sat outside till it was time for dinner.  5. I was starving.  Dinner was fabulous.  Jim does all the. cooking.  Ribs and chicken wings enough for three meals.  Home about 6 :30.  Then TV and stitching. 

Monday May 4. 2026, Sweetwater KOA, Sweetwater TN

 We got up about 7. Breakfast chores and crosswords. We slowly got things packed up and we're on the road by 10:30.  Drove 135 miles stopping once for a snack and potty btreak.  Arrived at 1:30.  Set up.  Called Amy and Jim. They arrived about 4.  We ordered a pizza and wings. Which we shared.  Sat outside and chatted til about 7.  Then TV and stitching  the rest of night.  Very nice park. 

Sunday May 3, 2026, Stonebridge RV Park, Maggie Valley. NC

 We gotvup about 7:15. Breakfast chores and crosswords.  Separated the laundry.  Down to the laundry about 9:30.  4 loads done in 2 hours.  Home to put it away. Lunch. Spin. At 2 we took off to top off with gas in Waynesville. Steve washed the truck. Then I wentvto Walmart where the shelves were terriblely under stocked.  Then home. I took the dogs to tge dog park.  Steve unloaded the groceries.   Finally at 4 i was ablecto start stitching.  Quick dinner. TV and stitching the rest of the night.

Saturday May 2. 2026, Stonebridge RV Park, Maggie Valley, NC

 I got up at 8. Breakfast chores and crosswords.  Steve worked  outside. Thenvwe went for another tour of Wheels through time. It hasn't changed alot.  Lots of cool stuff.  Took us about an hour and a half. Steve bought shirts and entered his contest.  Then home for lunch.  After lunch we headed to the publix  for fruit.  Then home for TV and stitching.   Watched the Kentucky Derby.  Steak in the ninja for dinner 

Friday, May 1, 2026, Stonebridge RV Park, Maggie Valley, NC

 We slept in late. I got up at 8.  Breakfast chores . Then about 9 we headed to Joey's Pancakes for a yummy breakfast of wonder full pancakes eggs and sausage. Mine was white chocolate raspberry.  Yummy.  We were stuffed. Then we headed to Cataloochee Valley in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park.   Very twisty turns. Only paved part od the way.   We got back about 12:30. Then it was TV and stitching.  Caught up on games and crosswords.   Walk to the dog park.  We were too full for Steak so I had grilled cheese and Steve had a hot dog and chili.
