December 31, 2021 Yuma Lakes RV Park, Yuma AZ

 Last day of 2021! We got up at 8 ish and had a nice breakfast.   I cleaned up the mess and got dressed.   The I got to sew some and finished my block.  At least 2 more to go.  Then we played Mexican train with the McCords.  What an ordeal. Then we went home for a break .  We BBQ'ed our steak at their place and had a nice dinner until Gary stirred the shit with the dogs and caused a fight with the dogs over a ball.  Finally came home for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 30, 2021 Yuma Lakes RV Park, Yuma AZ

 Well the tear is almost over.  One day to go.  What will the new year bring.  We got up early to have breakfast at the clubhouse.   Came home and took care of some business matters. Finally got thru to Social Security Office a miracle.   Then the McCords came over and went home several times.  They are funny energetic people.  It is going to be a very long two weeks.  I set up my sewing machine and got some sewing done.  We took a ride around the park.  Then home.  We BBQ'ed pork steaks. Dishes and it was time to retire to the bedroom for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

December 29, 2021, Yuma Lakes RV, Yuma AZ

 This morning grumpy gus and I got up at 7: 30 and got ready to head out.  We left about 10 am.  We drove about 180 miles.  We got here about 2 and got set up.  We are parked right near Gary and Marie.  Gary came over to visit.  I went to play Bingo with Marie.  For hours from 5 until almost 9 we played Bingo.  I actually Bingoed.   Home for some TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 28, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 This is our last night here.  I got up really late.  Steve was in a snit all day.  He was up at 5 and took a shower.  I went back to sleep.  He should be in a snit more often.   I am sure he went back to sleep.  We finished packing up. Steve took the Teryx over to storage.  We hung around till it was time to go Barros for Pizza .  Dave and Jan were here visiting so they went with Larry and Betty.  Steve was poop going and coming.  Got gas.  A quick visit with Susanne  to see here quilt.  Fed the dogs made coffee and it was time to escape gmto the bedroom.  Can't wait til this house closes and life can get back to normal.   The made a mistake on the contract so we are still trying to get the thing docu-signed.  

December 27, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ Casa

 The started off ok.  We started pulling things together for the loan.  We were getting very frustrated as it still the holidays and people were not back in the business mode yet.  It was a gray day all day.  I was planning on sewing with Betty but that got put on the back burner.  About 1 pm Steve and I  took a ride up to Chandler to look at SUV Subaru style.  No cars in the lot.  Steve's glasses broke on the nose piece.  We took them to Costco and was able to get them fixed.  Stevevus making me crazy since he doesn't want to carve and is bored i get no time to sew.  After Costco bizarro Steve appeared and he was an asshole the rest of the day. We had rotisserie chicken for dinner.  Dishes and finally I could Escape to the bedroom for TV and cuddles with the dogs.

December 26, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Well Steve has turned into Larry Nance.  I was up and out the door at 9.  Got in the car unbeknownst to Suzanne.  Scared her to death when I said good morning.   We were off at 9 to 35th street for their annual clearance sale.  I didn't spend much but I out 9 something on the card.  Plus 40 Dollars cash.  Then in to Chili's for lunch.  Then home by 2:30.  When I walked in the door Steve must have checked the credit card he knew I  had lunch at Chilis.   Then he claimed his neck hurt but he was a grump all the rest of the afternoon.   I did some cutting.   I made tuna salad for dinner.  Steve was tired of pasta.   Dishes and thank god it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 25, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 It was another wonderful Christmas at the park.  We were up at a decent hour.  I made Steve Bisquits and gravy and bacon and eggs.  Steve helped with chores. I prepared the last minute things for the dinner at Betty's.   We did a Teryx ride.  We have checked out the cars at the park again.  We know every car in the park again. Better than going to the used car shop.  We went over to Betty's about 1 and had   a wonderful dinner.  I took everything  back then went back to Betty's  to play five crowns.   John and Larry played as well.  Then home  for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 24, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Well a somewhat different Christmas Eve.  We got up really late.  Had breakfast.  Fortunately our plan for donuts failed.  It was rainy.   We chilled here at the house till 1 when we went to Heebner's for what was supposed to be one game of cards but ended up 2.  Back to the dp and rig.  Made the dessert for tomorrow.   We had scampi for dinner. Dishes. Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 23, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Today was a very busy day.   We got up on the late side.  Steve got up first and started banging around.  Breakfast and chores. We took care of business at the bank then a little exploring in Casa Grande.   Finally we went car shopping.  Then back to the rig where I gathered up 6 loads of laundry.   That took several hours.  I was pretty much alone.  Came back and put it all away.   Then a Teryx ride and more checking out cars.  Dinner was next on the agenda.   Tacos.  Dishes and finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 22, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 We got the word today that we are approved for the loan on the house. The dog kept us awake most of the night from about 4 o'clock onward.  At 9:30 Betty and Larry picked me up and we went to Michael's and the dollar store.   It was really warm out today.  We did our Teryx ride . At 2 ;30 we had toe nails done.  A quick dinner then we had girls night at Bingo.  Came home and got comfortable.   Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

December 21, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 We had a good day today. Thanks to Sophie nobody got much sleep last night.  Also was getting nervous about the Prescott home.   Steve went to carving after breakfast and I jumped in the truck and drove to Shelly Brooks house for a hair cut.  Then over to Fry's to get some last minute things.  Came back to unload the groceries.   We ate lunch then over to Suzanne's for cards.  Karen Andrew inserted herself into the mix.  We played on the porch and we got a little chilly.   We went home about 3:15.  We left for Boston's an hour later.   After dinner and short gift exchange we had a wonderful dinner.   We took a tour of the park lights.  Home andvitcwas finally time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

December 20, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 We are still waiting to hear whether they are going to pre approve us for the loan on the house.  We are getting anxious.   Anyway I got up about 8.  Made breakfast burritos and cleaned up the  mess.  I swept the floors and did all my chores.   I finally got some sewing done.   Steve is all hit to look at cars so we toured the park looking at cars.  The water pump arrived so Steve put that in. Dinner was spaghetti.   Dishes and finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 19, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 We were up early.  Breakfast and chores.  Then at 8:30 Betty and I went to Walmart.  We took are time and enjoyed the experience.   Betty dropped me off and Steve and I unloaded Betty's truck and put away the groceries.   We did lunch.  Just as Steve was taking off on the motorcycle Wally and Leslie dropped by for a short chat.  Then I went over to Betty's for awhile. She came over here for about an hour.  Then dinner and dishes.   Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 18, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Stevevler me sleep until 8:30.  We got up an did chores . We put up the last of the Christmas decorations.  We took the dogs for a short Teryx ride.  Just as we got back when our lunch date showed up.  The Heebner's.   Shirley starts her radiation treatments for her breasts on Monday.  We went to Mimi's but it was closed we ended up at Bostons.   We had a great lunch.  They dropped us at home.  We took the dogs to the dp.  Then took the Teryx over to the Heebner's and played two games of Five Crowns.   Then back to the house for a respite.   Around 6 we lit our fire pit and invited our next door neighbor  over to watch the lighted cart parade.   It was quite good this year.  We sat out til about 7 then decided it was too cold to continue.   Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 17, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 Today was a fun day and Steve was pretty mellow.  He got up early and went to get donuts at Bosa donuts.   They were yummy.   Then we made a plan to deliver the quilts to the quilter and we did that. We came home and I went to sew with Betty for about 4 hours.  We did more chatting than sewing.  Steve talked to the man next door.   He went to the same high school that Steve graduated from.  Once I came home we took a Teryx ride.  Then we BBQ'ed steaks.  Dishes and then it was finally time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 16, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 We got up late.  Steve first then he bangs around till I wake up.  Coffee and chores.  We took care of business chores.  Then I started ironing quilts.   I fixed Steve who went down to the carving group to BS. When he came back I fixed Steve lunch.  The back to the ironing board.  As soon as I went back to work but then Steve decided it was time to get everything down from upstairs in the loft and of course I had to help him.  Then we had to take the dogs to be weighed.  A new battery  for the Teryx.   Back home to finish ironing but then we had to get the Teryx out of storage.   I finally finished up.  Then I put out a few Christmas decorations to make it feel somewhat Christmasy.  Tho Christmasy seems to be over rated this year.  We ate leftovers and I did dishes then took the Teryx out to look at the lights in the park.   We came home before we ran out of gas.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

December 15, 2021 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

 What a day.  We got up and prepared to leave.  There was a little dusting of snow on the ground.  We had breakfast and fed the dogs.  We jumped into the truck I took the dogs to the dog park while Steve dropped the propane tank off.  Then we went to the sales office and they showed us the only home in the South area.  I was not over whelmed but Steve like the way it was facing.  Plus he loved the shop.  It is very nice and doesn't need any work on it.  Hopefully the truck will fit in the driveway.   Then we made an offer and came to terms with the owners.  Once all that was done we packed up and headed to Casa Grande.   So different here.  The Clark's are in CA.  Betty is in a park model.  Nothing remains the same.  We got the paperwork started on the unit .  Once we got to Casa Grande we set up and ate dinner.  We went to Bingo.   Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

December 14, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

We were up and on our way by 8:30.  It was cold.  We made several stops for potty and lunches.  We arrived about 3:30 after driving about 335 miles at 70+ miles an hour.  We unhitched and got the electric hooked up.  We jumped back in the car and headed to get gas and propane.   We only ended up with gas.  Then we waited for the Fords to come get us for Chinese Food.  We had a wonderful time and they insisted on paying.   Tomorrow we head out to Casa Grande.  Wenn we got back it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 13, 2021 Newberry Mountain RV Park, Newberry Springs CA

 We got up and out early.   We were on the road by 8 as planned.  Before the rain.  It did rain all the way thru Selma.  Then we were fine the rest of the way.  We stopped for a pee break in Pixley at the town "park".  Then a gas stop and a lunch break.  We had  words with POS office over the rental pool.  We arrived here about 2.  We drove about 300 miles.  We got set up.  We chilled until dinner then we ate. Dishes finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 12, 2021 Park Sierra, Coarsegold CA

This is our last day in the Park for awhile.  We got up leisurely.   Me about 8.  Breakfast and chores. We got the place packed and ready to roll.  We hooked up and put the motorcycle in.  Once last cart ride around the park.   Steve is off buying in Arkansas and Kentucky.   Now he is thinking a park model in Casa Grande.   Might as well stay in the trailer.  We put the trailer back then chilled.  About 3:30 we headed over to the YL Grill.  We met the Krogers for dinner there.  Nice people.  We came back to feed the dogs.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 11, 2021 Park Sierra, Coarsegold CA

 For some reason Steve thought we were supposed to get up at 7.  I made until quarter to 8.  We lounged in our pj's until 10:30.  We piddled around beginning to get things picked up and out away. A couple of trips to the dog park.  We changed our plans and are going to leave Monday instead of Tuesday.  It is supposed to rain so why get all ready to go and then sit around and twiddle our thumbs.  I did get some blocks cut out .  Steve watched the Army Navy game.  We made plans with the Kroger's to meet for dinner tomorrow at the YL golf club.  Dinner was wrapped hot dogs.  Dishes and it was finally time for  TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 10, 2021 Park Sierra, Coarsegold CA

 Well Steve was good enough to drive him and Joanie. We took the dogs for a ride.  Then we stopped by Joanie and Steve's and watched them pack up.  Then we went home.  I took 5 loads of laundry down to the laundromat.   2 hours later I loaded two very full baskets on the golf cart. Coming up the hill the very full basket dropped my clothes all over the road.  I picked it all up and then unbeknownst to me more fell out.  Went home to put away the clothes.   I was missing alot of stuff.  Much to my chagrin Steve insisted that I immediately check to see if someone picked them up and turned them into the office.  Turns out they were there waiting for me in a bag.  Grabbed them .  My neighbor in 319 called the office and the manager came and rescued them.  Stopped at Linda Schumaker's to pick up the mail for Marie McCord.   Then we jumped in the car and went to the Post Office in Coarsegold.   That was a zoo and took quite a while.  Stopped for gas at Chukchansi.   Came home and I actually got some time in the sewing room.  Took the dogs for their tour of the dog park. Then it was time for dinner.  Waffles and sausages and eggs for Steve.  Dishes and chores.   Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 9, 2021 Park Sierra, Coarsegold CA

 It was pouring down rain when we woke up and quit chilly. Steve Leach is still quite under the weather.  We had breakfast alone as well as the rest of the day.  I decided to change the bedding.  After chores we just hung out arvt h.g.h e trailer.   Steve volunteered me to drive to Oakley with the truck.  That didn't set too well with me as I am not comfortable driving in the freeway in the truck in unfamiliar territory.   There was a trip to the dog park.  We put a puzzle together that the girls gave us for Christmas.   It was a joke.  The picture on front was not what was inside.  I watched TV and read and worked puzzles .  We atr leftovers for  dinner which I shared with the Leaches.   This places is bad karma for the Leaches.  Last time it was car trouble.  This time it is illness.  They will never meet us again.  Finally dishes and then it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 8, 2021 Park Sierra, Coarsegold CA

 Another fun day with the Leaches. I got up at 8.  Enjoyed my coffee. We ate brunch with the Leaches about 10.  Chatted for awhile.  After Steve piddled around with with a few chores.  It remains chilly.  We took a drive around Bass Lake.  We got back about 3:30. We did a little dinner prep. The Leaches will stay another night. We all sat outside around the propane firepit.  Then dinner and dessert.   Dishes and it was finally time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.  

December 7, 2021 Park Sierra, Coarsegold CA

 Pearl Harbor Day. I got up late.  Breakfast and chores.  Then we went to Von's in Coarsegold.  Steve was in A Snit on the way home for no apparent reason.  Came home put away the groceries.  I had lunch.  Then we took a cart ride.  Joanie and Steve arrived.  We got them parked stayed and chatted for while. Took a cart ride to see the park.   Went home to fix dinner.  They came about 5:30.  We at 6ish. Then dessert. Then another cart ride to check out all the Christmas lights in the park.  They went home.  Very cold out there.  I did dishes and finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 6, 2021 Park Sierra, Coarsegold CA

 Were were up early tho Sophie slept thru the night.  We said goodbye and headed over to the Buttercup for breakfast with Don and Kim.  She seems to be doing ok.  They are still caught up in their sons death.  Once breakfast was over we headed to the bank for Steve's check.  Then Costco for shopping and gas.  It was a zoo.  Finally we were on the low flight home.  We got here just before three.  We put things away and ate a bite.  I made the sauce for tomorrow's meal dishes and finally we were ready for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   Nice to be back in our own bed.  

December 5, 2021 Old McCrumb Homestead, Placerville CA

 We got up rather early since Sophie was whining.   We had coffee then went to the Diamond Springs Hotel for breakfast with Jim Moore.   Then Steve went to get a haircut and ended up at Supercuts.  Then over to the American Legion Hall.  It was a very nice ceremony.   Bill will be missed by a lot of people.   We saw alot of people that we haven't seen in  a long while.  We left before the racist were done as we were not hungry.   It made me very nervous to be around all those people.  We decided to take a ride up to Kyburz to check out the fire damage in the area.  We came back through Pleasant Valley.   Then we hung out waiting for the kids and Grandkids.   The all had great stories to tell.  Him is going to the Superbowl.  We ate Pizza and chocolate.  They were gone by 6:30 . Nikki was in bed by 7:30.  We will head in not too long.  Dog cuddles will be needed.

December 4, 2021 Old McCrumb Homestead, Placerville CA

 We were up and out the door by 8.  It was foggy all 200+ miles.  Got to Placerville about noon.  Met Glenda and Tom at Buttercup Pantry for lunch.  The went to Walmart.   The over to Glenda's for a nice visit.  Then over to Nikki's.   About 6 we went to The Breakroom for a nice dinner with Chat and Nikki.  Back to Nikki's so Steve could get his daily dose of TV.  Then bed. 

December 3, 2021 Park Sierra Coarsegold CA

 Well Joanie woke me up again with a pocket dial.  We had breakfast.   Steve decided that he was at death's door.  He did a few chores.  We took a cart ride.  I sewed most of the day.  We packed a few things for the trip.  We ran to town for gas and def.  More cart riding. After Steve ate lunch he thought there might be a chance he was going to survive the stomach bug.  More sewing and finally dinner which was BBQ'ed hamburgers.   Dishes and finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 2, 2021 Park Sierra RV Park, Coarsegold CA

 We got up at 8;30 when we got a phone call from Joanie Leach.  We got up leisurely and had breakfast.   We did chores. I gave the dogs a bath.  Sophie decided to go for a walkabout in the neighborhood once she had a bath.  Steve fixed his motorcycle which I think he missed a lot.  We got it out of the shed barely.  Then up on the jack.  Steve had it fixed in no time.  I finally got my sewing set up. Steve went on a short ride.  Then we did a cart ride.  Finally left overs for dinner.  Dishes and finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

December 1, 2021 Park Sierra RV Resort, Coarsegold CA

 We set out bright and early at 8:30. We made good time stopping for gas and potty breaks.  We arrived about 1:30.  We drove about 235 miles.  We got set up and I got the the DirecTV squared away.  Every time I talk to these people I just want to reach thru the phone and wring the stuffing out of the person on the other end.  Then off on a cart ride. We hooked up with a mutual friend of Steve and Julie Kingsley in site 532. Back to the rig and off to Oakhurst for dinner at China Delight.   Yummy.  Home for chores and finally TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

November 30, 2021 Arabian Oasis RV Park, Boron CA

 We were up and out by 8:10.  We drove about 400 miles.  We stopped a couple of times and arrived here by 2:45.  It was warm until the sun went down.  We did not unhook.  We has dinner and dishes and finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

November 29, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 This is our last day here for awhile. We got up early and did our chores.  We met Mike and Colleen at the Back Burner for breakfast.   Then over to Costco and finally Safeway.   This Safeway stinks.  Home to put everything away.  We rested, I read for awhile then Steve got up to dump.  Got pissed off since I didn't run out there to help.  Funny I didn't see him helping at the laundromat.   We hooked up the trailer and put the cart in the back.  This is why I don't want to live in the RV.  We have to pack up way too soon.  Fords came by to visit.  Then dinner of frozen burritos.  Dishes and it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

November 28, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 We had a very nice day today.  We got up and my back was hurting but I was still able to move around.  We got dressed and ate then took off.  Supposedly to get to Costco  when they opened  but Steve had other plans. He wanted to hit the car wash and Walmart which had no def so we went to a nearby auto parts store.  Finally off to Costci where I spent a small fortune. Back home to put it all away.   Finally did a little sewing.  Picked up most everything in the garage and we are well on the way to getting everything packed up.  Cooked dinner in the oven and did dishes. Finally  it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

November 27, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park , Dewey AZ

 Darling Sophie decided that she needed to go out at 5 this morning.   Steve ever the gentleman took her out. I got up about 8.  He snoozed in the chair till I got up.  Steve took a shower and was forced to use a dirty towel.  He was sure his entire shower was for naught.   We took the dogs to the dog park.  I finally got to sew some.  Colleen and Mike came by for a visit.  Steve begged in the chair most of the day.   We BBQ'ed chicken thighs early so I could go to card Bingo at 6.  Back at 8:30 somewhat poorer.   Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

November 26, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 Today we both got up late.  Steve slept till almost 9.  We had breakfast and did chores.   Then I got the laundry ready and took it to the laundromat.   Once I got it started Steve called to say he was going to get more propane.  What he ended up doing was going to the Shed or care trailer.  Then the dog park.  Then I finished the laundry.   Came home and was anticipating getting to sew.  But no Steve wanted to drive around and look at houses.  We met Sandy in #1 in the North part.  She actually ket us come in and look at hers.  It was very nice.  We found a couple of others.  Then home to put away the clothes.  We ate early as we  BBQ'ed a steak.  Dishes then it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

November 25, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 Happy Thanksgiving.   Amazingly it was a great. We got up at 8.  Then a nice breakfast of scrambled eggs and sausage. We hung out at the house and did chores. At 10:30 we went and picked up our Turkey meals.  We dropped a lady off and took our meals homes.   We took the dogs to the dog park and stop to visit with the Fords.  Came home and had our Turkey meals which was actually quite good.  Then back to the Fords for chit chat and dessert.   Back home at 6:30.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   We heard from most of the kids and friends.   Happy Thanksgiving. 

Steve is looking for a house already.  He is planning a trip to the sales office tomorrow.   He sure is in a hurry for someone who doesn't want to go off the road.   

November 24, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 It was a crazy day today.  Steve woke up with a toothache. I cooked eggs and bacon for Steve. The dogs had a nail clipping appointment at 11:30. So he made an appointment for his tooth at 1:30.  In between we got somethings notarized for the title for the damn trailer.  I sat there and waited while Steve had his tooth pulled.  We had dinner plans at 4 at the Fords for an early Thanksgiving.   Steve got out of the dentist at 2:45.  We ran to Walmart for a prescription.   It would not be ready so we ran to CVS for advil.  Came home the store grabbed the dessert.    If to the Fords.  Dinner was not quite ready so Mike drove me to Walmart to get his prescription.  Back home and it was time to eat.  Stayed there til about 7.  Came home and Steve was feeling better.  I escaped to the bedroom.   TV and cuddles with the dogs to end the evening.   

November 23, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 Today was errand day.  We got up late 8 and had breakfast.   We started out at the Ford place to pick up parts and get propane.  Steve is in a much better frame of mind.  It rained off and on all day.  Then we checked out the nearby dog grooming place and made an appointment for tomorrow.   Then picked some essentials at Fry's.   Finally we were off to pick up my glasses.  Steve got his as well.  Then home.  We stopped at the truck for lunch and ordered our Thanksgiving dinners.  Then home to eat our lunch.  I made the dessert for tomorrow's dinner at Colleen's.  We were both full from lunch so we snacked for dinner.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

November 22, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 It is good to be home but I am more  tired. We got up about 7:30.  We had breakfast and took care of some reservations. Then Mike and Steve took the trailer over to storage area and got it set up.  Steve said he wasn't feeling well.  So he has been crabby all day.  I am so tired of being he whipping post.   I cleaned the house and took care of things.  Steve had more things to do with the trailer. I took the dogs to the dog park.  Finally he was ready to go to home depot B of A.  The Safeway.   Then Steve went into a deeper funk.  We BBQ'ed pork steaks.  We are not a happy couple right now.  Dishes and I escaped into the bedroom.   It was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

November 21, 2021 .Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 We made it home all in one piece.  We didn't get much sleep last night thank you sophie.  We up and ready to leave by 6. Steve fell off a chair and put a hole in the wall.  This was probably the worse hotel we had. No sense in waiting an hour to eat breakfast.   Steve went out to take the dogs.  Could not remember what room we had.  We drove to Sierra Blanca where we had a real nice breakfast at Angie's.  Then back on the road.  We gained an hour.  We stopped for gas and potty breaks.  We got   were in Tuscon by 1.  So rather than spend another night in another strange hotel room  we got home about 4.  We backed the trailer into our spot.  Mike came over to visit and see the trailer.  And to get away from his visitors.  Then we out all our stuff away and had a quick bite to eat.  Dishes can wait.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

November 20, 2021 Red Roof Inn, Van Horn Tx

We drove 600 miles today.  This has been a hard trip for Steve.  We will have driven almost 4500 miles.  Well it was more like low flying.  Steve drives way too fast. The day was mostly fine.  Got up early and had breakfast.  Stopped quite often for gas and lunch.  Steve took a nap along the way.  We stopped in Boerne at Walnart looking for DEF.  We finally found some at Auto Zone. I tried to make reservations online and that led to a fight as does everything on this trip.  Everything was fine till we got to the motel.  Steve looks tired.  My back hurts and I know I am tired.  This is an adequate hotel.  Nothing like the accommodations ones we had last night.  Anyway we went to one restaurant before we checked in and it was closed.  Then we tried Wendy's but the parking lot was too full. We were going to walk across the street.  Then that was out.  So it was cheese sticks and pretzels for dinner.  Shower and cuddles for the rest of the night.   Won't be cuddling with Steve.  

November 19, 2021 Home to Suites, Katy TX

 We drove 484 miles today.  We finished crossing the tip of Alabama and Mississippi. We crossed Louisana and we are just past Houston. We made a pit stop at Walmart outside of Mobile for a few necessities.   We decided we won't get back till Monday.  We squabbled off and on all day.  Steve had a tantrum because he could not hear me. So rather than letting me know he couldn't hear he decided not to talk to me.  Things were pretty quiet for quite awhile.   We stopped quite a few times.  I wanted to have a late lunch and I didn't want cold pizza or peanut butter and jelly.  We ended up at Cracker Barrel.  He threw a hissy fit over that.  Then I inadvertently made a reservation at a hotel we could never reach  and of course it was non refundable.  We hit rish hour traffic in Houston and that pissed him off.  So things have been rather quiet this evening.   God is this ever going to be over?  Ready for cuddles and bed.  The road was so rough Sophie went in her crate and stayed there for 30 to 45 minutes.   Amazing.

November 18, 2021 LaQuinta Inn, Mobile AL

 We said goodbye to LaWanda and Alan about 7 am.  We drove for a couple of hours.   As soon as we hit Hwy 10 we got off and had breakfast at a McDonald's.   It was good and I was hungry.  We then continued on our journey.   We were forced  to drive slower with the trailer and we stopped several times at various rest stops.  Once for lunch.  We drove 546 miles to Mobike AL.  Since we had the trailer on we decided to order Dominoes Pizza.  We had it delivered to our Hotel room. It was not bad Pizza.  We have alot left over.  We used A clean pea pad as a paper table cloth.  Steve watched foot ball and I read and worked  puzzles.  Too fun for words.  Can't wait for cuddles.

November 17, 2021 La Wanda's, Titusville FL

 Out last day here. Back on the road tomorrow.   We got up early about quarter to seven.  Had coffee then we were back at Steve's for breakfast.   Mediocre at best.  Back to LaWanda's.  I did laundry.  Started getting things ready for the next leg of our travels.  We hung out watching movies. I finished my book.  Worked puzzles.  About 6 we went to dinner for Steaks.  They were yummy.  Finally we settled back in front of the TV.  Bedtime soon and dog cuddles.  

November 16, 2021 La Wanda's, Titusville FlL

 We got up about 7. We chatted for awhile then coffee finally breakfast. The guys decided to check out the infamous log that we came down here to get.  They got the chain saw out and made several cuts.  The lights was rotted all the way through.  So we won't be taking the log back with us.  Then we decided to go to the movies.  5.00 Tuesday.  We saw Dune which wasn't very good.  Very slow moving and I didn't care for the ending.  At 3 we decided to have lunch near the Theater. Then a quick stop at Tractor Supply.   We decided the steak dinner would be moved to tomorrow night. So we ended up at Steve's for dinner.  Back home for R and R TV. We played a couple of games of ten thousand. Much to Alan's chagrin I won both.  The second one I rolled 4 thousand at the last minute.   Soon we will cuddle with the dogs again.  

November 15, 2021 LaWanda's, Titusville FL

 We got up early and packed up our stuff. We we to the Waffle House near the hotel.we ate a quick breakfast there and were on the road by 7 ish. We drove the last 122 miles to Douglas to get the trailer.   We picked it up checked it out and hooked up.  We pulled out of there by 11.  Then we drove 245 miles to La Wanda's.   We got here about 4.  We visited for awhile then decided to get dinner at Dixie Crossroads.   It was yummy.  We got back and eventually had dessert.   Finally we hit the sack about 11.  Cuddles with the dogs.

November 14, 2021 La Quinta Inn, Macon GA

We almost made it to Douglas GA. We got up about 5 and had breakfast  which was quit good and were on the road at 6:30.  We stopped for gas near Memphis TN and again in Copper Hill AL.  We arrived in Macon about 5:30.  This La Quinta is a little run down.  Once we got set and fed the dogs we went out for dinner.  I got my Culver's fix.  Came back to the motel and watched a little TV. Finally Steve crashed and I read for awhile.   It is 122 miles to Douglas then we are off to See LaWanda's.   

November 13, 2021 La Quinta Inn, Russellville AR

 We travelled 630 miles . We had breakfast at the last motel. I left my purse in the eating area.  Someone had turned it into the front desk.  Fortunately I remembered before we got underway.   We made a couple of gas stops. One in Amarillo and one outside of Fort Smith inside the Oklahoma border.  We made a stop for lunch.  We arrived in Russellville AR just after 5. We walked the dogs then went to Cracker Barrel for a nice dinner.  Then made a beeline for the motel.  All our routines are screwed up and we are forgetting things.  Next a shower then read with the dogs.  

November 12, 2021 La Quinta Inn, Tucumcari NM

 We got up really early but not as early as Steve wanted.  We left 45 minutes later than Steve wanted but you can't always have your way. So the trip started out on a non speaking basis.   We travelled 576 miles mainly across hwy 40.  We have three more days of driving. Very boring in the motels.  We stopped McDonald's as the few rest stops they had were closed.  Then we stopped in Grant's NM for gas and another potty brake.  We stopped about 4.  We went around the block to Subway and brought the sandwiches back to the hotel room.  We were done about 5:30.  The rest of the night loomed ahead.  Steve went down and ride the bike for 10 minutes then set in the hot tub for awhile.  Pretty soon I will take the dogs out for their final heathen it will time for lights out and cuddles with the dogs. 

November 11, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 Well we leave tomorrow.   Hope everything goes well.  We got up really late. 9 o'clock.  Breakfast and chores.  Then Steve decided to dump and start loading up the back.  Then off to Costco and another trip to Harbor Freight.   Home for lunch and more packing. Finally I took the opportunity to watch some TV.   Dinner was Steve's favorite frozen burritos.   Dishes and finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

November 10, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

  We got up super early to go to the Doctor.   They took blood.  I had lost 6 pounds which was a minor miracle.  We got flu shots.  Then we went over to Walmart for prescriptions.  And our booster Covid shot.  Then we came home got the dogs and got lunch at the food truck.  We brought it home and devoured it.  Steve went out to do some trip preparations.   I did some then went upstairs for TV and napping.  We BBQ'ed out last brats.  Then over to Colleens for yummy desserts. Brownies and lemon bars.  Colleen is sitting with my plants.  We came home at 8 for TV and cuddles with the dogs.  

November 9, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 What a day.  We got up early for breakfast and chores.  Then off to the dentist for what we thought would be a quick cleaning.   4 and a half hours later we left quite a bit poorer.  Dr. Latham just wasn't up to date in his practices.  They had a lot of modern technology.  We both had a deep cleaning.   Steve got things cleared up at the Bank and he was happy.   After the 4 hours plus we headed home to the dogs. We took them to the dog park then stopped at Fords to pick up bread that Colleen made for us.  We visited for awhile then back to the truck.  Steve wanted to go to Tractor Supply and Harbor Freight  and Lowes.  I will be so glad when we get back with this trailer.   Then we went to the very pricey Conton Dragon.  Finally home and time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   Tomorrow the doctor and the scales. 

November 8, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 We were up at a reasonable time.  Steve went to the bank to take care of the cashier's check.  I did 3 loads laundry. Folded all of it.  Came back and packed my suitcase for the trip.  Then we went to Lenscrafters to get new glasses and have our eyes checked.   Rushed home for dinner, fried egg sandwiches.   The off to Skipbo.   Got home and did dishes and it was finally time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

November 7, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 Got up about 7:30.  The time didn't change for us.  We had breakfast and did chores.  Then I did some sewing while Steve watched football.  We took a drive to tractor supply and explored some of the area.  We had a lazy day in preparation for the busy day we are about to have. we BBQ'ed  pork steaks. Dishes then it was time for  TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

November 6, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 Today I went shopping with Colleen.   We went to a bazaar out by Lynx Lake.  They had some very pricey craft items.  We saw ceramic mugs for $50+.  Then we finally found the Bazaar in Quailwood.  Colleen did all the spending.  I didn't buy anything as I have no place to put it.  Came home about one.  I reworked a quilt block.  Took the dog for a Teryz ride to the dog park.  A quick dinner of left over hamburger Strognanoff.   Then we picked up Colleen for card Bingo.  I won 1.5 bongos and Colleen had two.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

November 5, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 Another fun day at the park.  We got up and at it by 10.  Choes done breakfast.  Then the park but on a Veterans Day memorial luncheon.   They had an honor guard from the American Legion. Then an awful lunch of corn mashed potatoes, chicken  all smothered in brown gravy.   After lunch we went and grabbed the dogs then went on a ride and a stop at the dog park.  Came back to start a new block.  We snacked for dinner.  Steve ate his lunch and more than half of mine so he wasn't hungry.  At 5:30 we went to the dog park and went to Allen and Christine 's for hot chocolate and some ate smores.  Then home for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

November 4, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 Well our lives took an interesting turn.  The trailer Steve bought is ready.  So of course we dropped everything to make preparations to leave on the 12th. We ran the the dogs to the dog park.   We went to Colleens to get some totes.  We visited for.  awhile.   Then home.  Lunch.  Then I sewed a block which came out wonderful.  Then another trip to drop off Mike's hat that he left here.  Dog park where we met Rick Ellen and Scotty.  Dinner was BBQ'ed hamburgers.   Dishes.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. Never a dull moment here.  

November 3, 2021 0rchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 Today Steve was out early having the truck serviced.  I got up had breakfast and took the dogs to the dog park.  The rest of the day was spent preparing for dinner with the Fords.  I made clam chowder and hot buttered bread.  Colleen made a salad.  They came about 4.  Left about 7:30. Dishes finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

November 2, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 Today proved very interesting.   We had no real plans for the day.  Steve was reading the Bible when I got up.  We had breakfast and did chores.  I had a nice visit with Donna next door.  She is a cougar as well. She is 74 and he boyfriend is 57.  I cleaned up the drawer sets that Christine gave us.  I sat down to relax before I started putting things away in them I got a text from Colleen that they were going to Olive garden for lunch and wanted to know if we would like to go.  We had a wonderful lunch then since we were in the same parking lot as walmart we did a run thru there.  Back home to relax and a cart ride to the dog park.   We snacked for dinner.  Steve did his dishes.  I went upstairs with dogs for TV and cuddles.   

We decided to go back to California on the 30th so we could go to Bill Pittman's celebration of life on the 5th.  Will stay at Coarsegold till it is time to go to Casa Grande.

November 1, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 We had a very busy day today.   We were up before 7.  We were supposed to go on errands first thing.  Then I got a text from Colleen saying that we could help unload their cargo trailer.   So we did that.  About 11 we set out to the Post office in Dewey.  We checked out the Ford service in Dewey where Steve will take the truck on Wednesday.   Then Steve took me to the Great clips on Glassford Hills road.  Then the quilt store.  Lunch at Taco Bell.  Finally Safeway for milk.  Home and jumped in the cart to go to the dog park.  Then I was able to get two storage containers from Christine.   Then a long visit with Colleen.  Back at home.  Chilled then leftovers for dinner.  Dishes.   Then out to pickup the gang for Skipbo.  Had fun listening to 101 year old Bert tell about his life's adventures.   Finally came home and then it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

October 31, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 We had a quiet Halloween.   We got up by 8. Breakfast finished my cutting job.  Steve watched football.   We took a cart ride to see the Barrett's new single wide manufactured home.  Very nice buy way too small for me.  Then we to'ok Steve and the dogs home and I went over to the pavillion to check out the dog Halloween costume parade.  Came home to watch a movie.  Then I made hamburger Strognanoff.   Dishes and it was finally time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

October 30, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 I forgot to make my journal entry yesterday.   We got up late.  I got up around nine.   We hung out around the rig.  We took a couple of cart rides.  We had an early dinner.  I got some more cutting in and Steve did some work on his outside tool chest/charging center.  We had an early dinner of BBQ'ed skinless brats.  Then over to the round house for card Bingo.  Steve won one and so did Chrisine.  Then home .  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

October 29, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 The month is quickly coming to a close. We got up and did chores and breakfast.   Steve went to the gym for 5 minutes.  He got cleaned up and we went on a shopping expedition.  Steve went to Harbor Harbor Freight. Then we headed out of town on Willow Creek Road to see the fall colors.  We went by the Ford dealership.  We spotted a Tractor Supply.  In we went and shop shop shop.  Then out to Chino Valley to check out that town.  The dogs needed a place to pee.  Back to Prescott Valley and Frys.  Finally home quarter after 4.  Put all the groceries away.  Then took the dogs to the dog park.  Back to put dinner in the oven.  Dishes and finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

October 28, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 A nice quiet day at the rig.  Steve left early for carving.  I got up and had breakfast  and did chores.  Steve came home about 11.  We went for a cart ride.  We had lunch.  I did some cutting.   Steve changed batteries on the tire monitor.   More ride on the cart.  Then left over chicken for dinner. Dishes and finally it  was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

October 27, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 We were up early and out the door to Casa Grande by 7:45.  We had a nice flight.   Steve drove rather rapidly.  We made two stops at Rest areas.  We got to Casa Grande a little after 10.  We grabbed an egg mcmuffin.   Then had our toenails done.  We then wen over and visited Betty.  We saw her new park model.  Suzanne came by on the way to the doctor.  We visited about an hour then we picked up the trailer after pushing off the Teryx.   We hooked up and were off.  Betty's park model is smaller than her trailer.  Nice patio.   On the way home  I found out that Suzanne's doctor sent her to the Emergency room.   Still waiting to hear what happened.   Were home and trailer parked prior to 5.  Took the dogs to the dog park.  Then fixed frozen burritos for dinner.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

October 26, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 We got up suoer early today, before 7! We had coffee and did our chores.  The Fords picked us up and we went to breakfast at the Backburner.  It was ok.  Alan and Christine joined us.  They dropped us off.  We then headed out to Big Five so I could shoe shop. Then over to Walmart where I was able to get Betty her laundry baskets.  Then home to unload.  Chilly today.  We took a cart ride to the dog park.  Home for a Christmas movie.  Then leftovers  for dinner.  On a sad note our dear friend Bill Pittman died today at 3:05.  We did get to talk to her.  She and her boys were on the way back to the house from the hospital.  They will be moving to Austen Texas.  Then I spoke to Kim Ishmael.   She actually sounded pretty chipper.  

Dishes were done and finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

October 25, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 We got up leisurely.   Had breakfast.  Leftover bisquits and gravy.  Steve took the dogs then went to the gym.  6 minutes on the recumbent bike and some weights.  That wiped home out.  It finally came home to him that he needs to lose some weight. So right after breakfast tomorrow he starts  his diet. He is a Bear to live with right now.   We will see how long that lasts.  I did laundry for a couple of hours.  Put it away.  Came home for lunch.  Then we made the bed. BBQ'ed chicken for dinner.  I played Skipbo in building A.  Met Bert who will turn 101 in January.   Took Colleen home.  Finalkt it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

October 24, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park,, Dewey AZ

 Got up late as usual. Breakfast and chores.  We hung around in our Pj's till 11. I finally got some cutting done.  Steve messed around with the dental stuff.  We took a cart ride with the dogs.   We hung around watching football.   I made hamburger Salisbury steak . Steve was happy.  Dishes and it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

October 23, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 Nice day.  Steve worked on his outdoor tool chest.  We had a nice breakfast.  Steve made a run to Ace hardware.  Brought me back some more succulents.   I just hung out most of the day.   I watched tv. Worked crosswords.   Tomorrow I will try to get to some sewing.  I did take a long walk.  I stopped to chat with the Fords.  Walking  felt good.  We had leftovers for dinner.  At 6:30 Colleen picked me up for card bingo.  It was fun.  Christine and Alan were with her.  Getting to know people here at the park.  Got home about 8:30. Changed the routine up.  Watched TV in my jammies and had cuddles with the dogs. 

October 22, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 We got  up leisurely.  I used the leftovers from the fajitas to make an egg scramble for breakfast.   We took care of some business things and made some appointments.   Then the Fords came by and chatted for an hour or so.  Then more phone calls.  Then we were off to shopping.  First lowes then Costco then Safeway. What a zoo.  Came home to out it all away.  Quick trip to the dog park. BBQ'ed pork steaks.  Dishes etc.  Then it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

October 21, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 Steve was up early and out the door to Carving.  Unfortunately he wasn't gone long enough.  I had coffee and breakfast. Took the dogs out for a walk.  Mopped the bathroom.  Steve was home for about 2 minutes.  I had just sat down but for some reason it was imperative that we move the trailer back 8 ft so that the heated hose would reach.  So we put a few things away and hooked up the truck and pushed it back.  Then after a very brief rest we took a Teryx ride and ended up at the Fords after stopping at the office and the poop park.  We sat and chatted with them for a couple of hours.  Then home .we set up the back room.  Dinner and dishes.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

October 20, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 This morning we got up and did chores.  We took a cart ride around the park and took care of some business things like renting a spot in storage.  We drove by Fords place.  Then back to the rig.  We unloaded the truck so we could take the Fords to dinner.  Steve wanted to go to Lowes.  I didn't think we needed to do everything the first day we were here.  That put hubby into a snit.  Sofie did a walkabout when we left to pict up the Fords.  We got a tour of their new house then went out for Nexican food.  We dropped them off and came home for another cart ride.  I sat and read til 7 then came up stairs for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

October 19, 2021 Orchard Ranch RV Park, Dewey AZ

 We were up before 6 and on the road by 8:05.  We hit alot oof traffic in Las Vegas and Steve decided he knew the directions better than the garman.  We went about 300 miles and arrived here about three.  Everyone was very welcoming here.  We met alot of neighbors.   The Fords stopped by for a short visit.  We got the basics set up.  I fiddled around with DirecTV forever trying to get the local channels.we finally succeeded.   Steve was upset about his channels but it just took awhile to download.  We had  pancakes for dinner then  dishes.   More fussing with DirecTV.   Finally after all that fuss it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. One of our neighbors is an author. Cliff Deane. Don't think I would like his books tho. 

  

October 18, 2021 Preferred RV Resort, Parhump NV

This is our last day here.  We are heading to Prescott tomorrow.   Mixed emotions.  Little bit nervous about the change in our routine.  We didn't do much today.  The weather was iffy.  We got up leisurely.  Hung out in our jammies till almost noon.  Then we took a long cart ride.  Back to the rig for more sitting. And some TV in the bedroom with the dogs.    Dinner was   chicken cordon blue.  Dishes and it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

October 17, 2021 Preferred RV Resort, Parhump NV

 Today was a nice day.   We got up leisurely and watched football. At noon we ordered Pizza picked it up and went over to Candy and Art's new house.  Steve came out with a 10" pizza for people.   So he went in and got another one.  Then took them over to Art's. They were cold by the time we got there.  We left about 3:30.  I had made her a notebook and of course left it at home.  So we went back to the rig and got it.  Back to Candy's. We stopped a Burger King for dinner .  Brought everything  back to ear it.  Then a cart ride when we got back.  Coffee made then it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

October 16, 2021 Preferred RV Resort, Parhump NV

 It was cooler than expected last night.  We got up about 7:30.  We did our chores and met Candy and Art at Mom's for a late breakfast.  We will see their house tomorrow.   We tried to go to the Quilted Dragon but it turned out to be in someone's house.  So we skipped that. Steve was verging on asshole mode but by the time we got back to the rig he had simmered down.  We went potty at the rig then off to Walmart for shopping.  It was a zoo.  Not to mention they were remodeling. Back to the rig to rest and put away the groceries.   About 3:30 we took the dogs for a golf cart ride.  Dinner was leftovers with a new spin which was less than  best.  Dishes were done. Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.  

October 15, 2021 Preferred RV Resort, Parhump NV

 Today we finished our trek to Parhump. We left about 9:30  and arrived about 1:30. We drove about 200 miles this morning.  We made a couple of stops.  Once we got set up we took a cart ride around the park and stopped at the dog park.  Back to the rig to relax.  Dinner was frozen burritos.  Dishes and finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   Steve continues to frustrate.  Not sure what his problem is.

 We got up super early so we could be in Fresno by 8 to have th slide topper repaired.  We left at 7:05.  It was hard to leave but most of the people would be gone by the end of October.   Don't really like the Fresno area but love the Park.  And our friends there.  Once we dropped off the rig.  Then breakfast at Huckleberry.   A quick expensive trip to Camping World.  Then Walmart.  We returned to Central Valley and it was ready.   We hooked up and were under way before noon.   We decided to stop over in our usual spot in Boron.   Kind of a boring ride down 99. We drove about 26o miles. We were in for the night by 5.  Dinner was fried egg sandwiches.  Dishes etc.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.  

October 13, 2021 Park Sierra, Coarsegold CA

 Our last night in the park for awhile.  We will miss it and the people.  We need to come back for Stagecoach days.  We did alot of work.  We were going to put the golf cart in the back first thing in the morning but that didn't happen until almost 2:30.  We went to the office to drop off paperwork and check the mail.  We picked up our propane bottle.  I made spaghetti  sauce. Then we started cleaning up the yard and putting things in storage.  We ate lunch  and continued working.  We hooked up the rig, pulled forward and put the golf cart in the back.  That looked different.  Then we unhooked and opened the trailer up.  We had dinner dishes and finally  it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

October 12, 2021 Park Sierra, Coarsegold CA

 We got up by. I did laundry.  Steve ran  to Oakhurst for cash and allergy meds.  We met back at the trailer.  Lunch. I made the bed.  Then we started putting things away.  We had left overs for dinner.  Went to Bingo.  Thank goodness we won't have to go to listen to Gary call again.  We are both torn about leaving.   We love the park and all our friends here.  But we don't like CA.  Anymore.   Something is bothering Steve.  He is in a mode.  Up then snarling.  Guess I'll find out when I have had enough.  Came back from Bingo and it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

October 11, 2021 Park Sierra, Coarsegold CA

 Out time here grows short.  We got up really late this morning.   We got up at nine.  Breakfast and chores.  Steve did all the work today.  Since the sewing room was all picked up I didn't want to get started on a project I couldn't finish.  I piddled around the house while Steve washed all the vehicles and stayed outside almost till it was time to leave.  I wonder how many naps Steve took while I cooked and did laundry.   At 5:30 we jumped in the Kroger's car and we met the Grosope's at the Casino for a nice dinner.  We got home and it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

October 10, 2021 Park Sierra, Coarsegold CA

 Well apparently our visit with Joanie and Steve was not meant to be. I texted Joanie early and they were coming.  About 2 when I came back from walking the dog Steve had called to say that they were broken down on the side of the road.  They were working on getting a tow which didn't happen til 6 . Joannie had to go home separately in a Lyft car.  So I guess we will not get to see them there.  They sure are having problems with their vehicles.  

I got up late again.  We had breakfast and did our chores. Steve did a little carving. I finished the back of my last quilt. Now I just have to press everything  for the quilter.  Then I cleaned up the she shed.  It actually looks pretty good.  I watched some TV. Then we went for a DP ride.  Then we grabbed a bite at YL golf club.  Took a break while my phone was charging.   Then it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.

I got up late. I went back to bed after Steve got up at 6:30.  Steve was all in a  panic to get everything done since Joanie and Steve were coming.  They didn't make it as Steve had to finish a job.  So we relaxed and I was able to finish all of the book covers.  I got the back to Annibelle's quilt ready for the quilter.  One left .  Steve went outside to work on a wood project.  We had tacos for dinner.  Dishes.  Then it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

October 8, 2021 Park Sierra, Coarsegold CA

 I see my alarm and we were up at 7. We has a nice breakfast.  I made dinner in the crockpot as planned.  It turned out ok but the meat was rather dry.  I sewed most of the morning.   Marie came over and we played 5 crowns.  She is obsessed with card playing. Then we ate and she picked me up for Bunco.  Too bad we are leaving.   I tried to not go to these places so I wouldn't get too attached before we left.  We had fun at Bunco.  Finally got home about 8.  Then it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

October 7, 2021 Park Sierra, Coarsegold CA

 We slept in to 9 this morning.   This is going to change.  I set the alarm for 7.  Let's see what happens.  We got up and out to Walmart in Fresno.  $300.00 Later we were on our way home.  We put away all the groceries and I sat to sew awhile.  Steve raked some leaves and visited with some friends in the park.  We BBQ'ed chicken thighs which tasted really good as we haven't had them in awhile.   Dishes then it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

October 6, 2021 Park Sierra, Coarsegold CA

 Laundry was the order of the day.  I had to was the towels twice.  The front loader held them hostage . The load was unbalanced. So I had to rewash it in order to spin it dry.  Marie came to visit.  We slept in late. I forgot to make coffee.  Horrors.  We went to dinner at the chinese place in Oakhurst with the McCords. Came back to the rig.  Marie wanted to play cards so we decided to play Friday.   Finally after catching up with words it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

October 5, 2021 Park Sierra, Coarsegold CA

 Another Smokey day but not quite as bad.  We got up at 8:30. We were woken up by a phone call from Orchard Ranch.  To tell us we were accepted for residency which we already knew.  Chores were done eventually and I started sewing.  Steve did some packing and unpacking.  Steve is happy that his air purifiers arrived.  We are good for 1000 square feet.  We would both breathe better if we lost weight.  We took a break and took the dogs to the dog park.  Then more sewing for me.  I only have three more covers to make and I am done with that project.  We BBQ'ed brats for dinner the went down  to the clubhouse for Bingo.  Gary McCord called.  He is such an obnoxious idiot.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

October 4, 2021 Park Sierra, Coarsegold CA

 It continues to be smokey.  It is hard for even me to stand the smoke.   We got up leisurely as there isn't alot to do in the trailer.  I sewed.  Steve cleaned out a couple of his storage areas.   We ate lunch then decided to take the puppies for a cart ride to the dps which is the code  for the dog park.  We stopped for a few minutes at the McCordes.  Then the office and dog park and back to the rig.  More sewing.  Dinner was meatloaf and mashed potatoes.   Dishes and finally it was time  for TV and cuddles with the dogs.  Tomorrow looks like more of the same.  However we are going to get to go to Bingo in the evening.

 Still terribly smokey here and more to come. We got up and stayed inside as best we could all day.  I sewed.  Steve did some painting.   At theee o'clock we went to the ice cream social.  Home and to the dog park.  More sewing then fried egg sandwiches.   Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.

 Steve seemed in a little better mood.  As anticipated he was planning on a motorcycle ride  but it was terribly smokey.  So he stayed in most of the day.  He is still angry about something.   He did carve some and did some painting.   I sewed most of the day. We made two trips to the dog park.   Dinner was left over salmon patties.  Dishes and it was finally time  for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

October 1, 2921 Park Sierra, Coarsegold CA

A new month.   Today was a total shambles.  Steve woke me up at 5:39. Slam the door, turn the lights on etc.  I went back to bed but couldn't sleep. So I got up. Coffee and breakfast.   I finally fell back to sleep.  Steve must have as well cause he didn't make any noise.  Took the dogs to the dog park.  Started chatting with Marie.  Decided to go to the potluck and Bunco.  Then lunch.  Steve of course turned on the taping of the chase and promptly fell asleep.  I asked him I thought you like this program.   That's when  all hell broke out.  So I went and sewed . I made a dish to share.  Steve pouted all day.  Slept the afternoon away.  Refused to go to the potluck.  Still moping.  I expect that tomorrow he will take a long bike ride if the smoke is not bad.  He has been building up to this for awhile now.  Seems like he can't talk about what he is really upset about without starting a fight with me.  I am the whipping post.  So we ate the dish for the potluck here. Dishes and we each went to our separate rooms.  We are both pissed off.  

September 30, 2021 Park Sierra , Coarsegold CA

 Steve got up early  to go up to the maintenance crew  but he was too late.  He came home and installed lights under the trailer.   Then he had to rest the rest of the day to recover.  He said he was nauseous.   I told him that I would plan on something else for dinner rather than the meatloaf and mashed potatoes and gravy I had planned.  Amazingly his nausea went away and he thought he would be able to eat dinner.  I talked to Sandy and Betty and told them we wouldn't be coming to Fiesta Grande.  They took it pretty well.  I sewed most of the rest of the day.  We took the dogs to the dog park and stopped to visit Kent and Lynn Russell.  Then dinner dishes and finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

September 29, 2021

 Mr. Grumpy pants got up this morning  and has lasted most of the day.  We got up and out early.  We had an over priced breakfast at Pete's.   Steve went to the auto zone and hardware store. Then while we waited for our nail appointment he fixed the broken light on the right turn signal.  After the nail appointment I went into Raleys  for groceries.   Then home to put everything away and fix the tire on the cart that went flat overnight.   Steve carved for awhile late in the afternoon.   I ran the dogs to the dog park.   Dinner was tacos. Dishes and it was finally time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

Steve must be out of his comfort zone in spending.   

September 28, 2021 Park Sierra, Coarsegold CA

 We were approved for residency at Orchard Ranch for 1 year starting October 19th.  It was nip and tuck as we had to notify Fiesta Grande 60 days out so that we could get our  deposit back.  So we were on oins and needles all day waiting to hear.  Finally at 3 or there about we got the call.  Then I called Fiesta Grande and their phones must not be working as it was busy so I called Encore direct and they helped me.  All Arizona phones must be out.  Now to tell Sandy and Betty. Steve found a flat tire on the golf cart.  Aired all the tires. Steve raked leaves in the yard but of course he needed my help to pick them up.  We delivered them to the back 40.  I finished Dan's Sham at least the part that has to go to the quilters.   We were going out for dinner with Gary and Marie.  That guy is too much.  We were going out for Chinese. Went to Oakhurst but they were closed.  So we ended up at the Casino for burgers.  Came home and it was finally time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

September 27, 2021 Park Sierra, Coarsegold CA

 This month is almost done. Steve decided not to work so we had a leisurely breakfast.  We ran to dogs to the dog park and picked up the mail.  I decided to sew finally.  Steve puttered around outside.  Lunch. We walked over to the McCords and chatted with them for an hour plus.  Then more sewing for me and watering for Steve.  We BBQ'ed check steaks for dinner.  Dishes and dogs teeth.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

September 26, 2021 Park Sierra,, Coarsegold CA

 Well today turned into a very busy day.  We put out the awning in back.  We installed the phone.  I don't remember it being so hard.  My ostomy supplies arrived finally.  So I put all those away.  Steve watched football. I put the individual dots into one bag.  The McCords arrived back in the park.  We BBQ'ed burgers for dinner.  Steve 'a kidney stone seems to have resolved itself.  I think it was muscle pain from stress.  The purchase of the car carrier was very costly very stressful.   Finally all chores done. It was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

September 25, 2021 Park Sierra, Coarsegold CA

 Busy day today.  Steve thinks he has a kidney stone again.  So far it is not bad enough to stop him from doing quite a few jobs.  He serviced the generator and worked on the slides and the hot water heater.  I got help hold the ladder.  I did get some sewing done.  We did our normal cart ride with the dogs.  Finally it was time for BBQED hot dogs..  I am still hungry tho as that's all I got.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   Such is nice that we are staying put for awhile.

 We got up leisurely and had our coffee.  More things to handle with the cargo trailer.  Then we did chores and went to Oakhurst for groceries.   We took them back to the rig and put them away. We had lunch and while away the day till dinner.  We took the dogs to the dog park in the cart.   I made salmon patties for dinner.  They were okay but nothing to write home about.  Dishes then it was finally time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

September 23, 2021 Park Sierra, Coarsegold CA

 We worked hard today. Steve messed around with the trailer.  We got one in Georgia.  All is not set but in the works.  Means we will have to go to Georgia in January or February.   I got some ironing done.  Then we decided to start sorting through the stuff in the loft and trying to condense some things.  Then we started in on the shed.  We have about 3 weeks from today.   Irchard ranch called to let us know they got the check and the paperwork.   Now we should know one way or the other about the lease by Monday.  We had an early dinner so Steve could go by the Clubhouse to help clean.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

September 22, 2021 Park Sierra, Coarsegold CA

 Well we took a leap of faith and made plans to leave on the 14th of October.  Also made plans to have our slide topper repaired on our way to Parhump.   We were lazy this morning.  About 10:30 Steve took me to the laundry where I did 7 loads of laundry.   Steve picked me up.  Put the clothes away.  Steve tried not to go outside as it was very smokey.   I think he slept most of the day.  He cracked up a scheme to get the trailer he wants but we have to drive to Indiana to get it.  He didn't feel up to BBQ ing .  So I baked a chicken cordon blue. Dishes and it was time for snuggles with the dogs while the TV was on.  

September 21, 2021 Park Sierra, Coarsegold CA

What a day.  We were at the crack of dawn 5:30 and were on our way to Central Valley Repair. We off loaded the trailer and headed to Huckleberry 's.  We had beignets! Then we went to a self serve car wash.  The truck looks much better.  Then we were off to get hair cuts. Steve went to a couple trailer places but the 20 K sticker price was off putting.  At 1 the trailer was not so we went to Walmart for drinks.  With nothing else left to do we headed to the trolley car park  to kill some time.  It was hot so we finally decided to take off and wonder of wonders they called to have us come pick up the trailer.   We were back at Park Sierra by 4.  We hooked up and did our drive around the park and fixed a quick dinner which was a hot dog for me.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

September 20, 2021 Park Sierra, Coarsegold CA

 Well we made it back home.  We left about nine drove 158 miles stopping twice for potty stops.  This place continues to feel like home.  We heard from Orchard ranch today.  Things are progressing.   We are both torn about changing our routine and living situation.   Steve continues to be an asshole.  I am sure the fluidity of our plans has a lot to do with Steve's mood. The first thing Steve did was check on the golf cart.  Amazingly he was able to back it out of the storage shed!  We took a ride in it.  We had a small dinner dishes and it was finally time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   In the middle of my cuddles Steve decided that I should try pushing the slide out.  Which I could not. And my ice cream was melting! That's when the argument started. 

September 19, 2021 Delta Shores RV Park, Isleton CA

 Our last day here.  It was very quiet here.  We are off in our own little world.  We got up and did a few chores getting ready to leave.  We started in at 9 and were done by 10.  We hung out til 2 and went to Joanie and Steve's for a wonderful BBQ.  We sat outside and chatted before and after dinner.  The dogs had a wonderful time in their back yard. We were home by 7:30.  Did a few chores.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

September 18, 2021 Delta Shores RV Park, Isleton CA

Our time here is almost done.  We saw the kids for the last time on this trip. We got up early and took a wild ride up to Placerville.  We had breakfast with Lindy, Bill and Theresa.   Then followed them home to sort through all the craft stuff they rescued. The material was not good quality and hard to tell if it was 100% cotton.  I took some yarn for Colleen and some flannel.   Then we went over to Nikki's.  I soon realized that I left the notebooks I made for the girls at Lindy's . So after a few GD from Steve we went back to get them. Back at the house we chatted for awhile then went to the former Casa Ramos.  We were stuffed when we left.  Back to the house to Say goodbye.  A 2 hour drive back home.  Then we collapsed.   About 7 it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.
