Well today was Glenda's 83rd Birthday we called her and sung happy Birthday to her. We got motivated early and went to Breakfast where we net a nice couple. Dennis and Anne. He had a very nice French accent. I wanted so bad to speak French but was too chicken. They live two doors down from us. They do alot of thousand trails so maybe we will meet again. Unfortunately it has been too hot be outside and talk to people. Then we took off to get gas and hit Safeway. Where for the first time in history they under charged me for groceries. I saw him scan everything but the total was at least $50 short. Back to the rig where continued to pack everything up. I made some chicken cordon bleu and put them in the freezer. We had scrambled eggs and sausage for dinner. Dishes. Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.

This month is nearing a close as is our stay here. Tomorrow is our last day here and we are starting to put things away . We hung out at the rig all day while Steve visited with all the neighbors. I sewed most of the day. Steve did a little carving. It was extremely hot today and tomorrow is supposed to be even hotter. Not much else to report. We had chicken burgers as it was too hot to do much cooking in the trailer. Dishes and it was finally time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.

Well we had a fairly quiet day. After breakfast we decided to head over to Walmart to pick up Steve's meds. The a stop at Lowes . Back to the rig. We hud inside all the rest of the day as it was boiling hot outside. I got quit a bit of sewing done. We BBQ'ed steaks for dinner. Dishes and it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. Getting worried about Steve. He seems to be making some very silly mistakes. Either he just isn't paying attention or he needs to start taking ginkova.

Finally a trip to a nearby Walmart. Then back to the rig by two. Another trip to Walmart tomorrow to get Steve's meds. A small amount of sewing got done. It is a very tedious process. Then I made chicken enchiladas. Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.

Well we had a quiet day at home. The mobile repair guy came and opened up the frozen valve but did not have enough time to replace the valves. Hopefully it will be ok until we can keep our appointment at Central Valley in September. We were able to get our reservations confirmed at the 49er. They are still screwed up as always. I actually got some sewing in. Steve piddled around in the hatch straightening things out. I took the dogs CV to the dog park. We BBQ'ed hamburgers from the farm. Dishes and finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. It drizzled on and off all day long. Gonna get much hotter as the week progresses.

We left Glacier Meadows about 9 after we dumped at the dump station. We had an uneventful trip thank you Lord. No problems with the truck. We stopped twice for lunch and potty. We are finally in Pacific time zone. We traveled a little over 300 miles for this leg of our journey. We are parked next to another Momentum. We arrived just after three and got set up. Now the bedroom slide is giving us a problem. Ugh. Dinner was grilled cheese sandwiches. Finally after dishes the girls and I went upstairs for TV and
cuddles.

We were finally having a day off. I decided to do laundry as it was only a hop skip and a jump from our rig. 2 machines and 1 dryer 4 loads of clothes. But it is done. Steve washed the truck again and the front of the rig. Then we just hung out after we were done. Steve BBQ'ed hot dogs for lunch. We took our showers and had left over spaghetti for dinner. We are ready to leave and our fingers are crossed that we make it to Cheney. The truck is acting weird. Dishes were done. Last minute packing will be done tomorrow morning.

Got up fairly early this morning. Fixed Steve breakfast. I was planning on sewing but after breakfast Steve got talking to our neighbor. He got me out to walk the dogs which we did. Then he wanted to sit out and chat with the neighbors. Guess he didn't feel like washing the truck or carving. So we started chatting with them for the next three or four hours. They are from Wisconsin near keiler where we stayed. He drives for Dairy farms and she is a dispatcher for the police in Platteville. He was able to answer alot of questions I had about ranching. She is 27 and he is 47. Anyway we ate at 3:30. steve actually did the dishes! Then we took off for Glacier. They require tickets to get in from 6 am to 5pm. We decided to go in the west entrance right at 5. We drove the road going to the sun. We came out at St. Mary's. Then the truck started doing weird things. We got home ok. Hope we can get to Cheney ok. We settled in for our usual TV and cuddles with the dogs.

Well another day in Wunderland. Mr. Grumpy Pants got up later after 8. After some coffee and sweetener he he got nicer. Something is still bugging him I can feel him simmering under the surface. Anyway we took off for the Walmart in Kalispel. We didn't realize that it was 70 plus miles away. Plus we had to pass by some pretty extensive road construction. Lots of traffic in Columbia Falls and Kalispel. I ran in Walmart and Costco. Then we made the trek back. We got back about 2:30. Then we hung out til dinner which was BBQ'ed pork steaks. Dishes . Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.

Well we have very little internet where we are. We are about 17 miles from Columbia Falls. It is in a large meadow. Lots of surrounding trees. We left Shelby about 10:30 and arrived here about noon. Steve was up before 7. Any when we got here some was in our assigned spot. So they had to hook up and move one over. Anyway we met the work camper. He was from Illinois. After that the afternoon spiralled downward. I was thinking that Steve would have an episode Tuesday when he could not repair the trailer. But he held off for a couple of days. He was in a totally pissy mood and mind was not much better. We had a very quiet day. We did run down and get showers. They were not great. The water was scalding and there was no place to sit. Anyway I fixed dinner such as it was. Then cleaned up and left Mr. Grumpy pants to sulk by himself. We had to have tickets to get into Glacier. So we most likely won't go there. We can't leave fast enough if you ask me. It is very expensive for what we have. Finally Hazel and I went upstairs to watch TV and cuddle

We rested well last night. We got up leisurely and did our chores. We decided to drive to the Walmart in Great Falls. Once we went there we got gas and a burger the took the long way home on 89 to almost Browning . Still a lot of Ranch land and hat fields. It rained on the way back but not as hard as it rained between 8 and 9 here. The trailer shook as hard as the dogs. We stopped for more gas then Albertsons. Albertsons was very small. Then left over Taco meat and tacos for dinner. Then it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.

What a day. We got up and went over to the Best Western for Breakfast. That was a mistake. Then we made an even bigger mistake. We tried to fix the valve on the gray tank. And nearly killed ourselves in the process. We worked from about 10 to about 4:30. Unfortunately we were not able to fix the the problem. Some one is scheduled to come over to Ponderosa to fix it on the 27th. So until then we cannot use the water since we cannot dump and have no room to put much more water in the tank. So we both walked over to the showers. That felt good. We were so tired that we too tired to go out and eat. As matter of fact we ate cereal for dinner. Then it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. It did some thundering but no rain.

We finally left North Dakota. We traded in corn fields and soy beans for wheat and cows. Very boring 200 miles to our next destination. We managed to hold off leaving until 10:30. The valve on the gray tank is stuck and we are unable to dump. We stopped a couple of times once for lunch and one for a rest. It was 103 degrees when we got here about 4. We chilled and ate left overs. Dishes and it was time for TV and cuddles with Hazel.

Well we got up fairly early. I crawled back in bed and Sophie let me sleep another 3 hours. We had coffee the we went to breakfast at The Country Rose Cafe along with a million flies. It was decent food. Then we ran by the gas station and the grocery store. Then back to the dogs only to find out that Steve left his phone on the table. So back to the restaurant we went. The a bit more touring if the city we drove by all the museums and checked out some of the homes most of which seem to have 3 plus garages. Then back to the rig to chill and pick up and piddle around till it was time to go to dinner. We went to Sakura Japanese Steakhouse. They had all kinds of food including the chef that stands in the middle of the table and throw knives around. Japanese hibachi grill. The more sightseeing. We checked out the other Campground and decided that we made a good choice in North Park Campground. We are off tomorrow. Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.

We got up late and enjoyed a leisurely morning. Steve went out to re wash the truck. I di not understand the need to continually wash the truck that will be dirty as soon as we go out again. At least I was able to sew in peace. And that is what I did. Tomorrow is our last day here so we are beginning to pick up things. It is really hot here and we are heading into hotter areas until the end of the month. We BBQ'ed brats and learned that we only need one brat each. Dishes then it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.

Wow we had a long day of sightseeing. We started out before 9 with a stop at the neighborhood for Steve. Then we checked out the Patterson Lake recreation area and Lions Park. If we come back here and we might come to see the Medora musical and the pitchfork steak fondue we will definitely check out the camping facilities. Very inexpensive and much nicer than where we are now. $14 a night. We drove all around there then headed down 60+ miles to see the knife River Indian houses. They had a reproduction or their earthen homes that were built by the women. It was even furnished. We walked out to the remains of the homes. Just dirt mounds. It was hot out there so we didn't walk far. We had lunch in the parking lot. Then we headed out to some dam and ended up on some unpaved country roads. We made a giant loop. Then got back on track. We saw Fort Mandan. We went in search of Garrison Dam. We finally found it. We checked out a couple Parks and Fort Clark before heading back to the trailer. We got home around 5. We then BBQ'ed the pork steak we had out. Dishes and it was Finally time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.
