Wow we had a long day of sightseeing. We started out before 9 with a stop at the neighborhood for Steve. Then we checked out the Patterson Lake recreation area and Lions Park. If we come back here and we might come to see the Medora musical and the pitchfork steak fondue we will definitely check out the camping facilities. Very inexpensive and much nicer than where we are now. $14 a night. We drove all around there then headed down 60+ miles to see the knife River Indian houses. They had a reproduction or their earthen homes that were built by the women. It was even furnished. We walked out to the remains of the homes. Just dirt mounds. It was hot out there so we didn't walk far. We had lunch in the parking lot. Then we headed out to some dam and ended up on some unpaved country roads. We made a giant loop. Then got back on track. We saw Fort Mandan. We went in search of Garrison Dam. We finally found it. We checked out a couple Parks and Fort Clark before heading back to the trailer. We got home around 5. We then BBQ'ed the pork steak we had out. Dishes and it was Finally time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.
