 Last day of 2023!. Hope next year is as good as last year.  Football and stitching all day.  Wexare on Football overload!.  Steve took down most of the lights.  Quiet Day at home. Laundry tomorrow.   Finally time to do the bedtime routine. 

December 30, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Well tomorrow is the last day of 2023.  Quiet Day in front of the TV. We took the truck and Christmas  boxes back to storage. Came home to stitch and watch football.  I made pigs in a blanket for lunch and spaghetti for dinner.  Otherwise it was football and stitching for the day. Dog and mail run. Time for bedtime routine. 

December 29, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up late. Breakfast and chores.  Steve wentvto was the truck. Then over to storage to get all the Christmas boxes.  I got dressed and started getting the ornaments off the tree.  Steve waxed the truck while I took Christmas down.  Steve came in and took down the tree.  Got everything done but the outside lights. I decided put off patriotic Santa as I was finding it more work than fun. Started the snowman Shepherd.   I worked in the craft room putting flosses away. Dog park run. Dinner.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and more stitching. 

December 28, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up about 7:30. Coffee and chores. Drove to truck down to the repair shop for a service. Came home and made breakfast.  Warmed up the gravy and biscuits.  Cleanup. Then stitching and TV while Steve did some touch up repairs and piddled around outside.  Then we did a dog mailbox run. Stopped at the Office. Then jumped in the car to go get thectruck with a stop at Ace Hardware.   Finally home. Dinner with a surprise visit from the Burczyks.  Then football and stitching.  Bedtime routine. Today is Ed's 81st Birthday.

December 27, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up about 7:30. I stitched until about 11. I looked at my breast and it was dropping blood. So off to Optima to have it looked at. Got some antibiotics and will have to put a bandaid on it after I shower. Then home for lunch and check in with the cardiologist.  Where he told me to quit taking my blood pressure. He told to quit being a hypochondriac and Live.  Then home for dinner and more stitching.  Dog park and mail  run.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and more stitching. 

December 26, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up about 7:30. Breakfast coffee and chores.  Called Dr.Moe but no answer.   So later in the afternoon I called Dr.Patel. see him tomorrow but had to cancel the dentist.  Stitched in the morning and finally finished the Needleworker.  Chilly outside so watched TV all day.   Started a new needlework project.  Did feel much better today.  We decided to go see the lights at the Prescott Valley Civic center.  We went to pick up Steve's prescription which was ready in Oregon . Went to the car wash. Picked up a pizza. Then drove thru the lights. Came home to eat. Finally  it was time for TV cuddles and more stitching.

Merry Christmas 2023. Got up early. Had coffee.  Cooked bisquits and grave for Ralph and Wendy.   They left about 11:30 to go fishing. Then it was football and stitching the rest of the night.  Nice day.  Dog park run.  Steak in the ninja for dinner.  Time for bedtime routine.

 Quiet Christmas Eve at home.  Got up about7. Breakfast started laundry.  Football and stitching.  2 loads done by one.  Dog park run. Pretty cold outside. Valdez's coming for brunch tomorrow.

 We got up breakfast and chores. I stitched. Steve replaced the drain in the sink that continues to leak. Hopefully this is now fixed.  Couple of dog park runs. We toured the park to see the lights.  Came home for a fast dinner.  Football and stitching to finish the night off. 

December 22, 2923 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up early to rain. Made eggs for breakfast. Chores.   Got dressed and we were off to Hobby Lobby.  Then Harbor Freight.  Home then put together the goodie baskets for Christmas friends.  Then delivered them. Stopped to visit a couple places including the Fords.  Back home to stitch. Dinner at Chili's.  Then home for TV cuddles and more stitching. 

December 21, 2023 Irchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up late. I made the chocolate chip cookies and proved that the mixer was not working correctly.   That was over by 11:30. I dusted the house which it needed desperately.   Steve worked on intarsia and I stitched and watched TV.  We did a dog park run and bought our hot dogs which were pricy and not that great.  We settled down and Wendy came to shop in the craftcroom.  Then football For the rest ofvthe night. Then bedtime routine. 

December 20, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up about 7. Breakfast and chores.  Got a little stitching done before I went to the doctor to have my ears rotor routed. No wonder I could not hear. Lots of wax came out.  Then off to Safeway for some last minute goodies.  Back home to relax and  stitch. Dog park run.  Made potatoes and sausage .  Lots of chopping.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and more stitching.

 Well today was a crappy day. Steve's tooth fell out of his dentures again.  He was a bear all day.  I made cookie bars.  Steve did intarsia outside all day.  Got some TV and stitching done. I spent the evening watching TV and stitching.   Got our tamales from Jose.  Time for bed.

December 18, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

Sophie got us up atvthe crack of dawn. She had to go potty.  Steve took her out. I got up about 6:15. Steve apparently can't be up by himself.  I made a batch of praline crunch. Did some stitching.  About 11 we ran to Walmart. Lori came over and brought some kind of friendship soup mix.  Then Walmart and Bosa donuts.  Home for more stitching.  Dog park run.  The came home and made another batch of Praline Crunch.  Heated the sliders.  Late dinner and Monday night football.   Then time for bedtime routine. 

December 17, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Well Colleen has not communicated since Wednesday night. Must not be on her A list anymore.   We up at 8. Two loads of laundry. Folded and put away.  Stitching and football the rest of the day.  Made pigs in a blanket for lunch and hamburger Strognanoff for dinner. Dog park run at half time of the afternoon game.  Bedtime routine after the last game. One week till Christmas.

 We there is only 15 days left in this year. I woke up about 7.  I made french toast for breakfast.  Made My floss inventory . Then football and stitching.  Steve finished  his Clydesdales.  A quick dinner before card Bingo. Not many there.  Steve won the first Bingo . Home for more football and stitching.

 We got up at the crack of dawn again today. Steve had a dentist appointment.  I was able to get to a few chores while he was gone and even to some stitching.  Then about 9:30 we left for Walmart and Safeway to restock the larder.  Then we put it all away. Finally Steve went outside and I could watch TV and stitch. We went on a,dog park run . Dinner. Then Sreve decided to rent a movie from Netflix.  So I thought I should probably sit out here. Finally after watching jeopardy and Wheel of fortune it was time for bedtime routine.

 We got up super early for an 8 am doctor's appointment.  Coffee and chores.  Spent 2 plus hours at the doctor's  office. Had our ears cleaned.  I have to go back for further cleaning.  Then Egg sandwiches at Bosa's.  Then home to stitch.  Left over pot roast for dinner.  Dog park run.  Football after dinner.  Bedtime routine. 

December 13 , 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We were up early and off to the Dentist. We We to Horizon Dental and liked them we both need a couple od crowns.  Tomorrow the doctor and then we can relax for awhile.  Then intarsia for Steve and stitching for me.  Dog park run . I had to rip out two days worth of stitching. Ugh. Finally time for TV cuddles and more ripping.I

 We gotvup by 7 so we could go to our pedicures.  First the post office and bank. Then pedicures.  Then Hobby Lobby.  Finally Costco.  Home by 11:30 to put everything away . Then I worked putting away the treads I bought at Hobby Lobby.   Then stitching.  Steve decided we could go to out for Tacos.  We took the dogs to the dog park and ran into the Fords. They decided to come with us.  She made sure that I knew her new best friends were the Burczyks.   And again they paid off their house.  She is so controlling.   We went to Mia Tierras.  It was OK. Then home.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and more stitching.

 We got up about 8. Breakfast and chores. Steve played intarsia most of the day. I made a pot roast in the crock pot. I stitched.  Dinner and football and stitching to round out the day

 We were up early.  Fixed Steve some eggs.2 loads of laundry.  Then stitching and football the rest of the day. Too cold for Steve to ve outside.  Finally finished the bicycle. Started the Christmas snowman.  Made sliders for dinner.  Dog park run.  Quiet Day at home. Finished the day with  football and stitching. 61st a.nniversary of my Mom's death.

 Sophie had me up and at about before six coffee ans crosswords til Stece got up at 7.  The breakfast and chores.  Stitched most of the day.  Watched the Army Navy game.  Ran out at 9 to go to the last estate sale.  Nothing for us.  Then at 10:30 I went to get a hair cut and the girls got their nails clipped.  Then home to have lunch and watch the Army Navy game.  Dinner. Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.   So much back stitching on there bike patterns.

 Got up. Breakfast and chores.  Steve worked his last shift at Tractor for now he re-retired.  I stayed home. Stitched most of the day.  Still lots of backstitching to do.  Not much to report.   Finally it was time for TV cuddles and more stitching.

 Got up about 7:30. Breakfast and chores. Made apple pie.  Cleaned up the mess.  Stitched and watched TV.   Colleen didn't decide to go to Fain park lights until 4:30.  So done with that relationship.   Then everybody came here. Girls in one car and boys in the other.   Colleen wanted to switch cars once we got there.  So Eve drove.  Pretty lights.  Then back here for hot chocolate and pie Ala mode.  Then more stitching and football. Bedtime routine.

 I got up early today. 7 o'clock! Breakfast and chores.  We shopping at Safeway.  Home and unpacked.  Stitched for awhile.  Then started the cinnamon rolls. Gave Steve lunch. He went to work.  My rolling pin handle broke. Mixer would not run properly so I ended up kneading the dough by hand.  Dog park run.  Then a quick dinner late. .  Finally  it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.

December 2, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up on the later side yet again.  Buy we still made it down to the end of the block for the estate sale by 9 ish.  Got a nice Corningware pan and two lamps. Lamps look nice in the bedroom.   Then home.  Finally finished the Pilgrim snowman and prepped for my next project.  Stitched the rest of the afternoon.   Quick dinner  of leftovers . The off to card bingo.  Dog park run at 3:30. Steve about came to blows with the lady who was in the dog park.  Steve won 1.5 bingos and I won .5.  Fun time.  Football tomorrow and laundry.  Yay.

 We got up late again the morning.  Breakfast and chores. Finished the last mug.  Then stitched.   Dog park run.  Then home for TV and more stitching.   Steve finishedvthe lights. Then when it was time for dog park run. Steve decided we should go to to Kentucky fried for dinner. Nice surprise.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and more stitching.

 Last day of the month.  Got up and the the day went south. I was planning on finishing my mug. But Stevev decided that not only would we have an egg sandwiches at Bosa and shop at Safeway but we would get there via camp verde and Flagstaff.  We were out of the house by 8:30.  Stopped at Bosa and had breakfast.  Then headed to tractor in Cottonwood and loaded up on dog food items.  Then Tractor in Camp Verde where we loaded up on snacks and a screw in the passenger front tire.  On Flag big O to have tire repairs. Then Chino Valley via hwy 40 and Ashfork.  Got the car topped off at Chino Valley Safeway.  Then on to Safeway in Prescott.  Dog park run and home to unload.  Aboutv4vi sat down to catch up and stitch. Quick dinner and football.  Stitching and cuddles to finish off the night.

 Another later get up. I worked on Secember mug in the craftroom.  I know I hate hot glue.  Steve put up some lights outside.  It about did him in I think.  Another late day to get up.  Got right on breakfast.   Steve took the dogs. He decided play hockey from work.  He is most likely will quit working at Tractor. I jumped on putting up the Christmas decorations.   They are all up.  I feel like I have been run over by a Mac truck.  So tired.  Viral infection most likely.  Finished the tree and decor about 1:30.  Then stitching.   Dinner TV and stitching to finish off the night.

 We started out morning later than usual 8:30.bith of us worked on medical appointments both making and canceling appointments.  About 11 we went and got all the Christmas stuff and brought it over to the house. Steve wanted to put the ceramic tree and the faux big tree.  Then had to put the truck and boxes back in storage.   Then dog park. Visited with the Fords.  Home for dinner stitching and football . Bedtime routine.

 Steve let me sleep till 8 . Got up and made him waffles for breakfast.  Then 2 loads of laundry and a load of dishes.  Watched football and stitched in between.  At 3:30 we headed over to see Mike and Judy's new house in Granville.  It was gorgeous inside. They served us a wonderful dinner of spaghetti and meatballs.  Fun evening. Good people. Then home for more football and stitching.  Bedtime routine.

 Got up on the late side.  Breakfast and coffee. Made some choices about my medical plan. Stitched after chores.  Looking into acupuncture to resolve the bells palsy issues. Steve watched football most of the day.  Raked leaves.  Endless task. Getting cooler.  Dinner and card bingo .  Came home .  Bedtime routine.

 I got up early. Breakfast and chores. Stevecwasnoff to work and I continued to clean up the mess. Found out the sink was still leaking.  Bad news. Byram sent me the wrong pouches.  Steve ran to Walmart to pick up my scripts.  Came home to spend 45 minutes to fix sink. Then watched football. Dinner was left over chili relleno casserole. Once the game was over  I retired to the bedroom.  David called to chat about Brita's brother and his relationship.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and more stitching. 

November 23, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Well I woke up in the hospital this morning.  The doctor decided no mri since they don't have the mri for people with pacemakers. They decided that i had Bells Palsey rather than a stroke. So i will have to make an appointment for next week.  I got out about noon. Steve picked me up. Then home to finish prepping for Thanksgiving.  Steve finished most of the prep.  All I had to do was bake the rolls.  We packed up the cart and drove down to the roundhouse for dinner with friends.  Colleen did a great job decorating.   We played a couple of rounds of left right center.  Then cleaned up.   Dog park run and home by 4:30. Then football and stitching. Great Thanksgiving.

 We got up late but were out the door by 9:30 to go Walmart to pick up some prescriptions and groceries. Then back home for lunch and Steve took off for work. I stitched and took the dogs to the dog park.  When Steve came we dedcided to go to Lindo Mexico for Taco Tuesday. Then home for TV stitching anc cuddles.

 Well I woke up at 2:30  buy could not go back to sleep till about 4.  Up at 7:30. Got lots accomplished while trying to to sleep.  Breakfast and chores. Steve worked on Medicare I picked Colleen up for the luncheon and fasion show. It was less than best. Then hime to watch TV and stitch.  Made chili relleno casserole for dinner.   Watched football till bedtime.

 We got up later than expected.  I made Steve scrambled eggs.  We did chores.  I started the laundry.  Went to Safeway. Saw Colleen.  Came home pur everything away.  Folded laundry.  Took the dogs out. Finally stitched.made sliders for dinner.  Watched football.  Listened to Steve chat with family. Stitched till it was time for bed.

I got woke up at 5 so Steve could secure everything for the weather. Rain thunder and lightening.  Sophie was restless.  Went back to sleep till about 7:30. I fixed Steve French toast with the last of Colleen's bread.  Worked in the craftroom then got dressed. Steve left for work.  Then stitched for a few hours. Dog park run. A quick snack when Steve came home and off to card bingo. No wins tonight.  Then home for a couple of minutes od TV then bedtime routine.

November 17, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We were up on time for breakfast and chores then off to do errands.  First tractor. Then Hobby Lobby, car wash and finally Fry's . It was packed. Crazy. Ran around getting groceries.  Went to put groceries  in car only to fingmd that Steve called Jerry to chat and left the radio on and who knows what all and the battery ran down.  Called Fords and they were willing to come but roadside service was only 15 minutes out. Two seconds to start the car and we were off. Steve bought a battery booster so he can listen to all the music he wants.  Then home to get the ice cream in the freezer.  Then he wanted lunch. Then we had to talk to the Medicare insurance lady.  Finally it was time to stitch and do intarsia.  A dog park runthen dinner. Finally it was time for TV cuddles and more stitching.

 Got up. Breakfast and chores. Book club. Only three showed up.  Nice visit with Susie and Ruth.  Then home to stitch. Colleen came by with yummy bread.  Dog park run.  Saw Susie. Her next door neighbor had a bunch of free stuff which we too advantage of.  Grilled cheese sandwiches on the yummy bread.  Then stitching. Another dog park run.  Dinner football and stitching.   Bedtime routine.

 Got up with the alarm so we could go in for a pacemaker check.  They want me to have pics of the hole in my heart. February sounds good.  Then home. Vaccuumed and dusted. Dog park run. Visited Jim to make sure he was ok.  Put the cover on the cart. Then chatted with Betty. Made doctor appointments.   Busy afternoon.  Another dog park run. Quick dinner. Finally time for stitching TV and cuddles.  Hazel was happy to be on the bed.

 We got up late. Breakfast.  I worked in the craft room. Then stitched. Steve worked. Dog park. Talked to Maureen Klecker.  Dinner was left overs. Supposed to go to fashion show Monday with Colleen.  We will see how that turns out. Finally finished the beaver. Bedtime routine.

We got up on the late side. Breakfast chores. Stitching. We went to get the truck about 11:30. Stopped at Tractor and 69 Walmart.  The off to get the truck and follow Steve home.  Steve had a few chores left to do with the truck.   Then took it over to storage and did our dog park run. Came back for stitching and dinner.  Then game time.  Steve is going nuts over Nikki's back injury.

 Today was a good day. I got up had breakfast. Two loads of laundry.  Stitching.  Steve worked . Picked up a pizza at Tailgaters.  Watched football.  Dog park run.  The end. BP was better today.

 This day sucked.  Stevecwas mad cause he could not go to Red Lobster. So jealous.  So he started bitching about sewing things I lefton the table. I went to move them and spilt Mt entire cup of coffee on the table and floor.  So I am sure my blood pressure is sky rocketing.  He left for work.  I stitched  and go ready to go with Colleen  and their new best friends the Burczyks.  Dinner was fun. I did take out to surprise Steve. Came home. He was late so I called him. He went to Red Lobster to hmgetbhis free meal.  Didn't  call. He was home  by 4.  All hell broke loose.  I took the dogs to to the dog park. Then off to card bingo.  Steve won twice!.  Home for bedtime regime. 

November 10, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up at a reasonable hour. Breakfast and chores. I got to work on my crafts in the craft room.  Then stitching.  At noon we took off for errands which was to leadvto picking up the truck.  We headed to Home Depot in Prescott  for a leaf vacuum.  Then backvto Prescott Valley for Steve's haircut.  A late lunch at Firehouse Subs which was yummy.  Back Prescott to pickup the truck.  Turned out to be a false alarm.   They were detailing the truck when we got there just after 3. Plus they forgot to do a couple of items. So we will  have to go back on Monday to get it.  We snacked for dinner.  Now bedtime routine. 

November 9, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Long day.  I woke up at 3:30. Read for awhile and went back to sleep. Was up early as Steve went early to get the car serviced and run errands. Colleen is having Thanksgiving I guess so to avoid doubling up on Turkey we cancelled out of the potluck.  I am not a big potluck person.  Steve worked in the afternoon.   I stitched most of the day and agonized over the Amazon delivery.  Took them for ever to deliver.  I am turning into an old curmudgeon.   Football tonight was not that great.  Finally time for bedtime routine. Steve got pissed off because I complained about him leaving the toilet run.  He can dish it out but can't take it.

November 8, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Well not alot to report. Stitched most of the day. Steve did intarsia.  We're up fairly early as Hazal had diarrhea last night.  Did our normal dog park run twice.  Colleen cancelled on the potluck as normal.   No surprise there.  I am so done with that friendship.  I don't care to salvage it.  Waited onvAmazon All day. Time for bedtime routine.

 Well today was interesting.  We got up and out early.   We had breakfast at BoSa doughnuts. Then off to Harbor Freight, Hobby Lobby and Walmart.  Finally a return at Walmart.  Then home to unload.  Stitching for me and intarsia for Steve.  Then off to dinner with the Burczyks.  We just have very little in common with them.  The neighborhood spy Colleen somehow figured we were with the Burczyks and could not refrain from texting me during dinner.  We found a guy waiting for an ambulance on Antelope.  Looks like he will be OK.  Time for bedtime routine.

 Got up about 7 or should I say the grinch woke me up.  Still in a snit.  Thank goodness he went to work. I worked in the craft room for awhile. Then TV and stitching.   A nice walk. The more of the same. Dog park run. Then dinner and football.   Terrible defeat for the jets.  Bedtime routine. Hubby still in a snit.

 We got up around 8 and what I thought was going to be a quiet Sunday with football turned into a work day.   Steve decidedvthat he could not live without french toast for breakfast. So about 9:30 I made brunch.  Then cleaned up the mess from that. Steve remembered to pull the sheets off so I washed those and 2 other loads.  Folded those and remade the bed.  Did get some stitching done.  Up and down all day.  Dog park run.  Steve and I had words.  Quiet rest of the night.

Have decided to give up being friends with Colleen and Eve.  I guess I am looking for a buddy and I have vert little in common with Eve and Colleen is maniplative and controlling.   I was hoping that since Steve and Mike got on the four of us could pal around but it was not to be.  Oh well I like me the best anyway.

 We got up about 7:30 breakfast. Then Wendy and I  went over to the craft fair atvtge Lutheran church on Lakeshore. That took about an hour.  The stitched. Took a walk. Beautiful day.  Dinner was leftover pot roast. Card Bingo. Steve bingoed twice. Then home for TV and bedtime routine.

 Got up and had breakfast and did chores.  Went to the veterans lunch which was yucky as far as food was concerned.   Colleen and Mike sat with us. She worked the kitchen.  We are no longer friends. She is not someone I want to call a friend. Stitched the rest of the day. Snacks for dinner. Bedtime routine.

 Got up and had breakfast. Steve was off to work at 9:30. I stitched most of the day and finished my witch snowman. Took my walk. Trying to go a little farther each day.  Football night. Nice day . Bout time for bedtime routine.

 Sreve let me sleep till 8 this morning. I made him breakfast.  Then he did intarsia most of the day.  I walked the dogs around noon. Steve smoke some pork ribs. Not great. Guess I will end up throwing them out at some point.  Very dry.  Mostly stitching texting and TV  to round out the day. Time for bedtime routine.

 Another early morning.  Steve was off work at 9:30. I worked in the craftroom getting my thread in order and finishing November Mug.  Then I put the crockpot dinner together.  Finally stitched the rest of the day.  Dog park run and visit with the Burczyks.  Dinner and more stitching.   Bedtime.

 We got up atvtge crack of dawn so that we could take the truck to Maaco in Prescott . I followed Steve in the car. Once we dropped off the truck we went to breakfast. Then avstop at Hobby Lobby.  Then Walmart and Safeway.   Finally picked up meds at the Vet.  Then home.  Unloaded the groceries.  Quick lunch.  Steve worked on intarsia I watched TV and stitched.   We took the dogs and stopped in at the Fords to say hi.  Back home for football and dinner.  Bedtime routine soon

 We got up at the crack of dawn. I do not understand wht the TV has to on while I am trying to sleep.  Guess I will just have to get ear plugs.  I did three loads of laundry.   Steve puttered on intarsia.   I stitched in between loads.  I fixed potato and sausage. The potatoes got mushy again.  So he got pissed off.  Which was also due to the fast that 49ers lost.  Anyway. I wasn't interested in the Sunday night game  so I retired to the bedroom.  Time for bedtime routine.

 We got up about 7. Steve was all about his motorcycle ride. I worked in the craftroom for about an hour thenctook the dogs for a walk.  Finally about 11:30 I sat down to do stitching and watch TV.  Steve was late getting home and I was getting pissed off. But it wasn't his fault. As the Fringers are smokers and drinkers. They can't pass a pub without stopping. We still went to Bingo. 1 won 2 and Steve split the last one with 4 other people's.  Bedtime routine .

October 27, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Today was nice.  We both got up on the late side.  Steve offered breakfast at the backbones. So after a quick cup of coffee we headed out.  Got hone and Steve decided to get started on his intarsia project so I started stitching and watching Christmas movies.  Then he decided that he needed to run to Prescott for wood supplies.  So off we went. More TV and stitching.  Steve organized a ride with some of the neighbors.   Fingers and McNamaras.  Dinner was left over tamales. Then we watched the work series since the diamondbacks were playing. Time for bedtime routine.

 Got up early again. Wentvto Dewey Nail Spa. They were very slow. They did us one at a time. Steve was chopping at the bit as he had to go to work.  At least a half an hour early.   So we hurries home.  Took thecdogs for a walk. Stitchetd the rest of the day. Made sliders for dinner. Football and stitching the rest of the night. Then bed.

 Got up . Steve wanted eggs for breakfast so we did that.  We had some paperwork to take care of.  Then Steve was off to work. I stitched and watched TV.  I did take a short walk.  A loose dog came to visit and pooped in the carport.  Steve came home and we had left overs for dinner.  Watched Bosch till bedtime.

We got up early for me.  Breakfast. Steve went to Prescott  to take thectruck to Maaco for an estimate.  When he came home we went to Safeway for groceries.   Then home for lunch and put everything away.  I stitched alot.  We had our meeting with the estate planner this morning.  We had words then Steve left for work. Randy came by to help us with the mini. Disaster averted.  Stitched the rest ofvthe afternoon.  Made Irene's White spaghetti  for dinner. Watched 49ers get beat. Then time for bedtime routine.

 We gotvup leisurely for A Sunday.  Thought it would be a relaxing Sunday watching football.  Wrong.  We rushed over to tractor to get more dog food. Steve had a 40% off coupon.  Then home to pick up the truck as he wanted to do some work on the truck and the toolbox.  I did three loads of laundry.  I got some stitching in. We did watch some football.   By dinner Steve worked himself into another snit. For whatever reason he is barely speaking to me and when I ask a question he snarls.  Go figure.  Off to bed.

October 21, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

Today was much better day. Got up. Made avacado toast for breakfast.  Steve hugged the office but I did get some chores done.  Made chicken cordon bleu for the freezer.  Got those packaged up.  Steve went to work. I got some things figured out with  the cell phones.  The vaccuumed and dusted. Finally I got to do some stitching. Run to the dog park.  Had everything ready for Steve at 5:15 so we could be at Bingo at 6.  Steve won a Bingo!. Then home for Bosch ice cream and bedtime.

 This day was a bust. Got up was having Breakfast when Steve installed Gtge firestick. Now both TVs do not work. No patience . Then  hair cut car wash and tractor for do food.  Gave the dogs a bath.  Stitching and TV.  Till the blow up about Steve making the buffet an alternate desk.  Very quiet for the rest of the day . He cleared off everything. Aways over reacting. Sometimes he is such a 2 year old. Time for bed.

 We got up on the late side. Steve's alarm was on the fritz.   Breakfast. Steve puttered around but finally went to carving. I went to book club.  Same as ever.   Then home . Dog park run. Steve took a short putz on the motorcycle.  Piddled in the craft room. Things are getting back to normal.  Stitching TV and football finished the day.  Bedtime routine.

 We got up really early. Got dressed to head to the doc's for fasting labs. Thought it was our annual checkup. Nope just med renewal.  Waited 30 minutes for the doc. Got flu shots waited 20 minutes for the lab tech.  Finally left there at 9:15.  Then over to Mama's for a nice breakfast.   Went home. Steve left for his truck estimates about 12:30.  I stitched the rest of the day. Met Steve in storage to pick him up  and drop off truck. Finished the clown.  Long project.  Ready for bedtime routine.

 We got up around 7. I made Steve breakfast.  Then chores. We were off around 9:30 to go get the truck. From there the dogs got their nails trimed. The truck got washed.  Returned an item from Amazon at UPS. Finally Acec Hardware.  The home to put the truck back. Dog park. Activity office. Home.  Stitched and watched TV.  To my surprise stevecwanted to Taco Tuesday at Casa Perez.  Home for endless episodes of Bosch.  Then bedtime routine.

 We got up at a reasonable hour. Then off to Costco to spend a lot of money. Home to put it away. TV and stitching the rest of the day.  Burczyks came by at dinner.  Not alot of interest to be friends there.  Not much in common.  Let the Fords have them.  More TV and stitching. Bedtime routine.

October 15, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up at a reasonable time. Steve went and got donuts. God forbid we let a couple expire.  I took the dogs out then he took them out . Ralph came at 10 to put out the tables for the party. Then Wendy came later to put out the cloths and decor. We had about 40 people here.  By 3:30 everything was back to normal.  Leftovers for dinner. Ham and cheese sliders were perfect.  Stitching and football tgecrest ofvthe night.

 Thanks to Steve went were up about 6:30.  Ugh. Guess ear plugs are in order. Breakfast. Got laundry started. Hung out around the house. Laundry.  Watched TV.   Decided against going to Bingo since Burczyks were not going. Colleen and Mike brought the mail key over.  They sat and visited for an hour. They leave for their trip Monday.  Dinner and more TV . Boring day.  Bedtime routine.

 Had a relaxing morning then about 10 we headed out. However before our eyes were fully open Steve was on the phone to get direct TV back on track. Hit the car wash first. She was a dirty girl. Then Hobby Lobby. Then Best Buy to get the all important firestick. Michael's and finally Safeway to restock the larder. Put it all away. Then time to relax with Netflix movie. Back to cart rides to the dog park. Checked out the rest of the park.   Got some stitching done.  Steve puttered in the shop. Calzones for dinner. More TV and stitching.  Time for bed.

October 12, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We made home as scheduled. We left about 9 and headed out. By the time we got to Kingman we had a valve leak on one of the truck dually tires. So we made a beeline for Big O in Kingman.  That took about 1 and a half hours. Then we were back on the road. Stopped for lunch.  Then on home. Arrived about 2:30. By 5 we were unpacked and the TV hooked back up.  Then we put the truck and rig back in storage. Put most of the stuff in the house.  Dogs are glad to be home.  As are we.  We had grilled cheese for dinner.  Ready for bedtime routine.  

October 11, 2023 Desert View RV Resort, Needles CA

We drove about 270 miles. We left at 8:30. We  arrived  about 2:30. We made through the Tachapi grade just fine. We stopped for gas lunch and potty breaks.  It was pretty hot here.  Nice park. Homeward bound tomorrow spent the evening stitching and watching Bosch.  Will be glad when this vacation if you could call it that is over and all put away.

October 10, 2023 Orange Grove RV Resort, Bakersfield CA

 We drove about 270 miles. We left Isleton at 9 . We stopped three times. Once for gas two for potty and lunch. We arrived about 3:30.  We did not have to unhook.  We are not quite level.  The rest of the afternoon was spent stitching and watching Bosch.  Getting low on food.  Anxious to get home.

October 9, 2023 Delta Shores RV Park, Isleton CA

 We got up and got ready for Nikki and the girls to visit. They  got here about 11. Stevecwas busy with the insurance claim and fixing the screen door while they were here and didn't really get to visit with them . We BBQed hot dogs. Steve got Nikki  to do the dirty work.   They left by 2. It was gray and over cast most of the day.  Nice and cool tho.  Then TV and stitching.  Steve dumped and  got stuff ready to leave tomorrow.   Pot pies for dinner .  Football and Bosch until bedtime.

 We got up about 7. The kids got here about 9:30 and left about 11.  Busy busy.  Nikki and here Clan are supposed to be here tomorrow.  Got to meet Derek Stephanie's latest plus one.  They are all going to Aftershock later. Then we watched football and stitched.  My frying pan took a dump.  Timevfor bedtime routine.

October 7, 2023 Delta Shores RV Park, Isleton CA

 We were up and out by 8:30 to have breakfast with Steve and Connie Mitchell at three Denney at Flag City Flying J . Then wevwent to Walmart to pick up a few things.  Filled up with gas.  Then home to put things away and clean up before the Reutzels came at 2:30.  They stayed till 5:30. We BBQed steaks.  Then I forgot to do all the dishes and clean up. More company coming tomorrow and Monday.  Will definitely be glad to get home.

October 6, 2023 Delta Shores RV Park, Isleton CA

 We got up. Hung around the house till noon when we took off for the Leach's. We had a nice lunch with them. Yummy sandwiches.  We sat and chatted with them till about 5.  Then headed home.  While we were leaving Steve took out a section of Steve Leach's front fence. Put yet another dent in the truck bed and almost ripped off the back tire fender.  Then home for dinner and stitching.  Then bedtime routine. 

October 5, 2023 Delta Shores RV Park, Isleton CA

 We got up at the crack of dawn  so we could leave at eight to meet Glenda and Tom at Bert's in the Delta for a wonderful breakfast. Then we beat feet to go home to hook up with Kiblers.  They got here at 1pm . We sat and chatted til after 5. Then we went to the Lighthouse Marina Sports bar and grill for burgers.  Really cool place.  People came up in boats to drink and eat.  Then home for TV and stitching.  Finally bedtime routine. 

October 4, 2023 Delta Shores RV Park, Isleton CA

 We got up about 7:30 when Nikki called. Breakfast. We sat around for awhile.  Finally got everything ready to do laundry. Got the machines going. Very small. Some gal came in and took one of mine when I had my back turned.  Then right in the middle of drying the last loads the electricity went off on the whole island for several hours. Came home with lots of wet clothes.  We strung them all over the garage. Some are still drying.  Tried to stay cool. We had the generator going full blast.  Finally got some stitching done.  Steve made arrangements to meet up with some friends.   Hung out in the rig till Steve BBQed some burgers.  Time for bedroom routine.

October 3, 2023 Delta Shores RV Park, Isleton CA

Wevhad a long drive today.  About 283 miles. We left the nice cool weather behind unfortunately.  We stopped twice. Lunch was in the parking lot of Home Depot in Windsor.  We arrived about 3:30.  It is about as bad as I remember.  It was quite hot when we arrived. We have the same spot as last time.  We had a quick dinner . We only have 30 amp service.  Finally got to do some stitching.  Then bedtime routine. 

October 2, 2023 Riverwalk RV Resort. Fortuna CA

 I got up to Mr. Grumpy pants. He was ready and looking for something to get mad about.  So we had another silent ride from Gold Beach to Fortuna.  It was about 155 miles. We got stopped at the border where the demanded my one and only avacado.   We decided to use the rest room while we were being held hostage atvtge CA border.  We arrived atvthe park about 1pm.  We asked if we could move over one to have a better chance of getting satellite reception.   We got set up the did a quick grocery run and gas.  6.64 a gallon at the casino.  Back tobthe rig for chores. TV and stitching.  Dinner was fried egg sandwiches.   Stevevis having vacation remorse as he realized what it is costing for travel these days.

October 1, 2023 Turtle Rock RV Resort, Gold Beach OR

 Today was a very quiet day.  Full of football and stitching.   Steve did almost nothing.  I got to cook both lunch and dinner.  Lucky me. I also got to take the dogs out three times.  We leave tomorrow for Fortuna.  I will need to do laundry  there as I doubt Delta Shores has laundry.   Then we head for home.  Grocery shopping. Tractor supply.  

September 30, 2023 Turtle Rock RV Resort, Gold Beach OR

 We left Neskowin Creek about 9. Steve woke up the world at 6:30.  We traveled 214 miles in silence.  We stopped twice  for potty and lunch.  Pretty  drive .

Arrived here about 3.  Fortunately we have satellite.  Sophie too a couple walks on her own.  Then after a brief respite we went to the Porthole for fish and chips.  Then home for TV and stitching.   Swans are done.  Time for bedtime routine. 

September 29, 2023 Neskowin Creek RV Resort, Neskowin OR

 We got up late again this morning.  Breakfast and chores. Dismal outside. We decided to take a ride up the coast to Seaside and check out the Thousand Trails park there. We did that. Turned around and came home. We tried to find the quilt store in Wheeler but luck was not with us. We tried to go to Burger King although my miser of a husband felt that food was not part of the deal.  The girl was not fluent in English and was having a great deal of difficulty taking our order.  So Steve was happy to leave  and not spend a dine to feed us.  Finally home to watch TV and eat dinner here.  Finally bed time was in order.

September 28, 2023 Neskowin Creek RV Resort, Neskowin OR

 We actually got out of the trailer today. We wento Newport. We checked out the quilt store. It was mostly batiks. I had to go potty bad. So I was in and out quickly.   We almost missed it as the Triftway Market changed to McKay's.  Gas at Fred Meyer Gas station. Then Walmart for Steve's prescription and a few items.  Then back to Lincoln City for JoAnn's and Safeway. Finally home to put it away.  Then stitching.  We had a late lunch. Stitching.  Finally dinner. Blew a fuse. Too much on one outlet.  More football and stitching.   Then begin night time routine.

September 27, 2023 Neskowin Creek RV Resort, Neskowin OR

 Steve let me sleep until 8:15! It started raining early and hard. We decided another day in the trailer was called for.  So we sat in front of the TV all day. I stitched.  We finished the Longmire series for the third run though.  I made steak in the ninja. Then I was forced to watch stupid movies in Steve's list.  Now boxing is on which is better than what Steve picks for movies.  Now it is time for bedtime routine.

 Quiet boring day.  We stayed in the rig all Day. I stitched. Steve did a few chores outside. Threatened rain all day but never did.  Took a short walk.  We ate leftovers for breakfast and dinner.  Hope tomorrow is different.  Time for bedtime routine.

 We got up and prepared to move. We waited till about nine to hookup while it was not raining.   We drove about 130 miles. We stopped twice. It was a pretty rough  ride. We arrived around 1. A quick set up to avoid the rain.  Then stitching and football the rest of the day. Fried egg sandwiches for dinner. Then bed time routine. 

September 24, 2023, Mt. Hood Village, Welches OR

 Out last day here. We move on to the Oregon Coast tomorrow.  We had a nice breakfast with Dan. He left about 10. Then I gathered up the laundry and headed over to do the laundry.  4 loads in about 2 hours.  Rained all day.  Pir everything away then stitching the rest of the day.   Hamburgers in the Ninja for dinner.  More stitching before bedtime routine. 

September 23, 2023 Mt. Hood Village, Welches OR

 We got up about 7:30. Steve was nice and was quiet till I got woke up. Breakfast and chores.  Then off to Safeway for groceries.   Home to out them away.  The boys got here about 1:30. David then Dan.  We visited. BBQed a tri tip.  Nice. Dave and Brita left about 6.  Then Dan stayed . We chatted. Had ice cream. Dan is sleeping in the garage.  Bedtime routine. Nice visit.  Routinecwas not interrupted too bad. 

September 22, 2023 Mt. Hood Village, Welches OR

 We got up at a reasonable hour. Then Steve and I marched  down to the dragonfly Cafe to have breakfast.   Boy am I out of shape.  Anyway we got back. I stitched and watched TV while Steve carved outside.  I cooked potatoes and eggs and made potato salad.  Tacos for dinner.   Boys will be here on Saturday.  Will be anxious to see them. Hope it is a short visit. Then bedtime routine.

 We got up really late today. Steve slept til 8:30.  Wow. That doesn't happen very often.   We had breakfast,  did a few chores.  Steve sat out and carved foe awhile. I stitched on and off all day.  Then we streamed the niners game.  Time for bedtime routine.

September 20, 2023, Mt. Hood Village, Welches OR

 We got on the late side.  Then off to Walmart in Troutdale. It was practically empty. But the it was not very well stocked.  We went to a neighborhood market first.  Had to find the right one as Steve had a prescription to pick up.  Then home.  We hung out at the trailer til it was time to go to the local cantina for dinner.  45 minutes later we were back at the trailer and in for the night.  Then bedtime routine. 

September 19, 2023 Mt.Hood Village, Welches OR

 We got up and had a relaxing morning. Breakfast and chores. Steve upgraded the garmen.  Then we took off for the gorge. We visited Trillium Lake. Saw Mt Hood.  Crossed over to Washington on the Button Bridge at white Salmon then came back over at Cascade Locks.  Home for stitching and dinner.  TV and bedtime routine.

 We got up and hooked up. We hooked up and drove 215 miles to Mt. Hood Village in Welches Oregon. We stopped twice once for lunch. We got here and set up by 1:30.  Then we watched football and I stitched.  We had calzones for dinner.  We got the satellite hooked up but will have to call and change the service address.  Bedtime routine. 

September 17, 2023, Rising River RV Park, Roseburg OR

 We got up about 7. I fixed bisquits and gravy and eggs.  Did a few chores. Then we watched football and I stitched.  Steve ozone on the TV and snoozed most of the day.  Nice relaxing day.  I fixed dinner and started prepping the trailer for our departure tomorrow.   Steve got peeved because I told him I would not dish the ice cream.  So he took another nap and tempted me to start an argument.  I did not fall for it.  Time for bedtime regime. 

September 16, 2023, Rising River RV Park, Roseburg OR

 Got up about 7.  That is the latest Steve couldcstand being alone.  Breakfast and chores.  Steve almost forgot to take the dogs out.then he went out. I watched TV and stitched. Steve came in andcwecwatched football.  Then we decided to go to Walmart.  Got gas. Came home put away  groceries.   No bags given. I bout some toothbrushes and Steve had fir over those. He seems to have calmed down. I made dinner and did dishes.  More stitching before bedtime routine. 

September 15, 2023 Rising River RV Park, Roseburg OR

 We left Redcrest at 8 and drove about 300 miles. We stopped once to potty and another time for lunch. Reading while traveling apparently is not allowed. We took 101 to Coos Bay and cut over on 42 to Roseburg. Very nice park. We got here about 3:30. By 4 we were set up and ready to collapse.  I finally finished the Farmer which I was working on. Left over BBQ hot dogs and hamburgers for dinner.  Time for bed

September 14, 2023 Ancient Redwoods RV Park, Redcrest CA

 Last day here. So tired of visiting with people I barely know. Got up breakfast and chores as usual. Started putting things away. More than ready to leave.  Got some stitching in. Mary Wynne and Sharon Parker came by about noon for a couple of hours.  Then Johnny j and finally Stickney's arrived with Kentucky fried chicken for dinner.  Apple pie for dessert.  Sheila wanted to play 5 crowns so we did.  More chatting before they. Left at 8.  The relaxed a bit before beginning bed time routine. 

September 13, 2023, Ancient Redwoods RV Park, Redcrest CA

 Well it was a very busy day today.  Steve and I left here after breakfast . We were supposed  to meet the Stickney's at Bear River. But they were running behind as usual.  So we drovevto their house in Eureka . Sheila and I headed to Kohl's.  The guysctootled around Southern Humbolt.  After Kohl's we hit the quit store. Then the bead store.  Had a wonderful lunch at the Sourdough Co. Winco for Salad. Picked up a pizza at Papa Murphy.  Stopped at Stickney's to pick up Jack.  Then back to the rig . Sheila and I played 5 crowns.  Then had pizza outside . They finally left about 7.  Got a little stitching in. Then time for bedtime routine.

September 12, 2023 Ancient Redwoods RV Park, Redcrest CA

 We gotvup fairly early and I made pancakes and eggs for Steve. Washed dishes.  Then I gathered all the laundry and spent 3 hours at the job. One washer was out.  4 small loads.  Put it all away. Got a little stitching in. Then we jumped in the truck at met Stickney's at Double D'S for a nice steak dinner. I am afraid that Sheila is an alcoholic.   So sad.  We did a nostalgic drive through Rio Dell.  Then home for stitching and bedtime routine. 

September 11, 2023 Ancient Redwoods, Redcrest CA

 I got up late. Kiblers left before I was ready to go out. So Bye bye for now.  Breakfast,  dishes and other chores.  Steve wanted to go down the Avenue to Weott and Myers Flat. Then over to Fortuna to Tractor Supply.  The Les Schwab to have the tires aired up. Finally Safeway for a few groceries.  Then home to unload.  Finally TV and stitching. Walked the dogs down to the office to pick up a souvenir for Terry.  Back home. Leftovers for dinner.  More stitching and TV.  Time for bed. Took a break from visiting  today.  

September 10, 2023, Ancient Redwoods RV Park, Redcrest CA

Steve finally let me sleep till 7:30 this morning. We had breakfast and chores. Finally got some stitching in. Hung out at the house till about 1ish watching football.   Then we went to visit the Kiblers.  Chatted with them for an hour or so. Came home then.  They came down for dinner. Stickney's came late at 4:30. Threw dinner together.  Hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill. Chatted till 8. Bedtime routine.  

September 9, 2023 ,Ancient Redwoods RV Park, Redcrest CA

 We got up a little later than usual but not by much.  Fixed Steve some eggs for breakfast. Started getting ready for the Weott Kids Reunion.  When who should appear on out door step but the Whynots. So we sat out and got caught up on 5 years. So good to see them.  Then John Johnson came by and more reminiscing.  Ugh.  Then off to the  Four fire places for the actual reunion.  Very few people came. We sat there for 3 hours.  Then home for a little stitching and I got a short nap in as I couldn't get to sleep until after 1:30.  Dinner was grilled cheese sandwiches. Jerry and Sheila came by and Judy and Dan cam by.  We sat out for a couple of hours.  Then bed.  Boy have we for got how to dp things  around the trailer. 

September 8, 2023 Ancient Redwoods RV Park, Redcrest CA

 We were off early again. We didn't unhook so leaving did not take long.  We traveled about 275 miles. Stopped a couple of times for potty and lunches.  Arrived here about 3. Got set up and went over to visit the Kiblers who were waiting for us.  We visited for quit awhile then we decided to go to Fortuna for dinner. Being Friday night at 6 Eel River Bistro was packed so we went to Peppers. It was good.  Then azquick shopping trip to Safeway.   Back home and ready to start the night time routine. 

September 7, 2023 TT Lake Minden, Nicolaus CA

  Today we drove about 261 miles. We left about 8. Hie construction around Walker Lake near Hawthorne  the again on 80 near Truckee. At Fallon Steve remembered that he forgot to Stow the antenna.  Took him three tries to get it in . He is always in a rush.  We got here about 3.  Very hot here.  Took us the rest of the day to cool the trailer down.   We ate left over pizza for dinner.  We will be in the Redwoods tomorrow the Lord willing.

September 6, 2023, Whiskey Flats RV Park, Hawthorne NV

We traveled 272 miles from Parhump to Hawthorne NV . We left around 8 and arrived about 1:30.  We stopped for lunch and a couple of potty breaks.  We were lucky we did not have to unhitch.  Once we settled in I started stitching.   The oven still works which is good.   Still finding things to clean.  Bed came early.  I still don't have  any idea how we did this for years.

September 5, 2023 Preferred RV, Parhump NV

We got up at 5:30 and were on the road by 7. We arrived  around one. 310 miles. Sophie got sick all over me and and the console. Fast setup as we are only staying one night. How I lived in this tin can for 6 years I will never know.  Routines are all screwed. No Satellite service so we watched Longmire on Netflix.   Then recorded  stuff on off the dvr. We took the dogs to the dog park and went and filled the truck up with gas.  Thinking about a new truck. Dinner more TV and some stitching.  More of the same on Tomorrow. 

September 4, 2023,Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 What an incredibly busy day.  We got up and did breakfast and chores.   Met with Judy and Mike and witnessed their living trust and will.  Andvtheir advanced directive.  Then a dog park run.  Stopped by the trailer and the battery was dead.  So we hooked up the truck and brought it over here plugged into the electrical.   Then took the truck off.  Went and got our pizza. Came home ate. The loaded up clothes and food.  Put refrigerator food in. Then I cleaned the refrigerator which needed cleaning.  Finally we put the freezer food in and hooked up the truck.  Finally it was time to escape into the bedroom for TV cuddles and stitching. 

September 3, 2023, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Our 18th Anniversary! We got up. Steve did his chores and left to run errands.  I stated laundry and re made the bed when the sheets were done.  Packed up a few things.  Colleen tested positive for covid so since we were together Wednesday when she came down with it. So I took a Covid test.  It came back negative but not sure how accurate the test is.  Feel ok so far.  Then dog runs. Made chicken in the air fryer . It was good.  One day and we are off.  Hopefully all goes well. Stitched when I could. Finally I escaped into the bedroom for TV cuddles and stitching. 

September 2, 2023, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Steve woke me up early.  Turned on the TV and then did not watch it.  Anyway we had breakfast and did chores. Steve finished his eagle intarsia. I gathered up a load of stuff for the trailer.  We took that over there. Then we chilled out  I stitched as usual. Colleen and Mike were too sick to go to dinner.  We met Burczyks at Augies at 4:30 . It was an OK dinner. We just don't have the same  relationship with them as we do the Fords.  Yet I like them.   I like Lefty's just as well and it is a loy closer.  Stopped at Harbor Freight and Tractor on the way back.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

September 1, 2023, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up. Steve wanted breakfast so I made scrambled eggs and bacon. The gave the dogs a bath and brushed their teeth.  Washed all their beds and bedding and my quilt.  Finally I got dressed.  Judy came over to ask us to be witnesses for their trust on Monday. Then Steve went out to do his intarsia . Couple of dog park runs.   The rest of the day was spent stitching.  Nothing appeared to me for dinner so we had pot pies. Finally  I retired to the bedroom for TV cuddles and stitching.

August 31,2023, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Well it is the last day of August.  Was able to sleep in a little this morning.  Breakfast and chores. Off to Safeway to pick up milk and a   things.  Then home to put the finishing touches on September and October mugs. Steve worked his last shift before we leave on vacation.  Then I stitched and watched TV.  It poured this afternoon but I was able to do a dog run and mail check.  Dinner was Calzones. Finally itcwas time for TV cuddles and more stitching..

 

August 30, 2023, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up at the crack of dawn so I could go to the doctor . Got meds for my rash.  Hope the work.  Then home. Colleen picked me up at 9:30 and we drove over to Chino Valley to check out their fabric store. Then over to the quilt store in Prescott.  Then picked up meds at Walmart.  Finally home.  Steve had already left for work.  I stitched and watched TV.  Dog park run about 3:30.  Hamburgers in the Ninja.  Final ly it was time for more TV cuddles and stitching. 

I need to record this. Steve actually put a spoon in the dishwasher and the ice cream scoop!

August 29, 2023, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up at a reasonable time.  Breakfast,  and chores.  Stevecworked in intarsia. I started stitching.  Went to get our toes done.not impressed with the place.  Decided to go to the doctor and have them look at this rash . While we were at the nail place the cardiologist doctor called and  wanted to chat later in the day about an alert from my monitor.  So I was stressed all day.  Dog park run.  Rain shower.  Thunder and lightening.   Finally it was time  for TV cuddles and stitching. 

August 28, 2023, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 I woke up about 6:30.  Breakfast and chores.  Rash seems to be clearing up so I did not go to the doctor.  Steve worked in intarsia outside till it got too hot.  Then came in and worked at the table. We actually listened to music while we worked. Couple of dog park runs.   Stevevgot made as I did not want to get. 1 week until we leave on vacation.  Leftovers for dinner.  Stitched most of the day.  Fingers crossed all goes well on the trip.

August 27, 2023, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up at the crack of dawn.  Off the a disappointing breakfast at cracker barrel.  Then grocery shopping at Fry's.  Home to put everything away. Finally steve watched football and I escaped into the bedroom to stitch and watch my TV.  2 loads of laundry washed dried and folded. Trip to the dog park. Stopped to visit with the Burczyks.  Then home. Dinner was steak grilled in the ninja.  Late evening cart ride to the dog park and install the new solar lights.  Back home for more TV cuddles and stitching.  Then bedtime routine. 

August 26, 2023, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up breakfast and chores.  Went out on errands. Harbor Freight, Hobby Lobby, car wash and Walmart.  Decided to hold off on Fry's until tomorrow.  Came home and hung out till it was time for an early dinner of pot pies and Steve was off to work.  Stitched until it was time to go to bingo.  Terry shared a bingo with 2 others. Steve who wasn't there won a bingo which we split.  Steve was home when I got home to start the bedtime routine. 

August 25, 2023, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up about 7:30. Breakfast and chores. I went in the bedroom to stitch and steve went outside.  Hair cuts around noon. Came home. Stitched until it was time  to go to the end of summer party.  Quite a few people. We were supposed to go at 5.  Buy Colleen texted that they were on the way down at 4. God forbid they gave us a heads-up. Good thing we went early as there was only one food truck.  Two cancelled. After dinner Colleen crocheted while we waited for the band to start playing.   Then continued to crochet for the next hour.  It was not as fun as the last one we went to.  We won a raffle prize. But it required black tie outfits and it was happening tomorrow night. Fortunately Steve had to work.  We gave them to someone else and left. Did not care for the music.  Terrible raffle prize I thought.  Finally itcwasvtime for TV cuddles and stitching. 

August 24, 2023, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up before 7. But got lots done.  Worked in the craft room after breakfast.  The started working on my next project.  Steve left for work at 10:30. I went to Colleen's for a quick visit. Then home for TV and stitching.  Steve came home shortly after 5. The dogs and I did a dog park mail run. Dinner  was leftovers enchiladas . Went in to stitch. Quick cart ride  to check on the lights under the truck.  More stitching then bedtime routine.  

It has become evident that I need to lose some weight.  Goodbye ice cream.  

August 23, 2023,Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up and Steve wanted sausage and eggs for breakfast. So like the good wife that I am I got up and cooked him breakfast. The I was going to work in the quilt room but that was not to be. Steve wanted to do more cleaning in the trailer.  So we went over there and worked for about an hour.  I think we are in pretty good shape now.  Food and clothes and some last minute items.  Then home TV and stitching.  Tacos for dinner.

We tried to use the food saver.  Finally finished my ice cram cart.  It was quite the challenge. So much fun.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.

 We got up had breakfast and did chores.  We decided to take the truck on a trial run. We drove it up the hill through Jerome and stopped at the quilt store in Cottonwood.  Steve wanted to go to the mobile home warehouse.  Came home to stitch. Dinner was frozen lasagna. Dog park and mail room.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

August 21, 2023, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up early to take the truck over to the repair shop. Started laundry. Had three loads.  Came home finished breakfast.  Then home for some stitching.  Steve worked outside sharpening knives.  Then the heating and air guy came.  Then we watched TV.  When we took the dogs Steve was in a fighting mood.  Then we went to get the truck  and returned it to storage.  Byvthen he was looking for something or someone to pick a fight with.  So I accommodated him.  So we are having a quiet night in separate rooms.  Finally time for bedroom routine.

August 20, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

We got up later than anticipated but made it out the door for breakfast just before nine.  We went to Mama's in Dewey Humbolt.  Hexwantedcto see his favorite customer at Tractor.   Home by 10.  Ran some errands in the park.  Then stitched until Burczyks came over to play cards.  We played a couple of hours. Then Colleen wanted some cream of mushroom soup. Grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner.  Finally escape into the bedroom for TV cuddles and stitching.  Finally  got great light in here so I can see.  

August 19, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up breakfast and chores.   Steve was itching to go do some errands. It was suppose to be this afternoon but of course things got changed.  So I got dressed and off we went.  First to Cal Ranch then big five for shoes. Then a quick stop at JoAnn's.  Returned an item at Walmart.  Finally  Ace Hardware.  Then home for lunch.  Over to the trailer for more cleaning.  Home to do a little stitching before dinner and card bingo.  Terry and I Bingoed.   Then home for bedtime regime. 

August 18, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Stayed up till 2:30 to finish my book. Up about 7:30.  Went to the cardiologist at 11.  I guess everything is OK.  Then home. We went over to start cleaning the trailer. Worked on that a couple of hours. Then home. Started some stitching.  Went nuts over the wheel on the bike.   Dinner was brats. Finally it wasbtime for TV cuddles and stitching. 

August 17, Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up breakfast and chores.  Picked up Colleen.  Went to book club.  Colleen was supposed to fill popcorn bags with me but as we were walking out the door she told me she was going geocashing with Mike.  Which is no big deal as it took less than a half hour to do . What pissed me off was that she didn't tell me. Surely she knew at least by yesterday that theyvwere going.  Anyway I think I need to find a new bestie.  Came home and stitched the rest ofvthe day while Steve worked.   He came home and found out his motorcycle insurance was due tomorrow.   Made a trip to the post office and dog park.  Dinner was calzones and fruit.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and more stitching. 

August 16, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up, breakfast and chores. Our on our marathon errand run by 9.  We went to tractor Supply.   RV store next door, Walmart,  Alliance, Advance Auto, Affinity Hobby Lobby, Costco, and Safeway.   Brought home Taco bell for lunch.  Stitched the rest of the day.  Rain thunder and lightening. Leftovers for dinner.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.   

August 15, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up breakfast and chores. Guy came to wash the trailer. So Steve was in and out washing the truck and putting the hitch back in.  I stitched most of the day.  It rained about 3:30. We were out in the cart so we hurried home.  We had left over pizza for a late lunch.  So we ate a bowl of cereal for dinner.  Like it.  Finally I retired to the bedroom rather than watching bowling.  TV cuddles and stitching. 

August 14, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Busy day.  Got up and got our reservations for our trip better lined up.  Got RPI ducks in a row.  Went over to the trailer Steve where Steve pumped up the tires and I checked out the inside and made the bed.  Then back home grabbed the dogs and off to tractor.  Finally about 2 I was finally able to stitch.   About 4:30 we decided to grab the Fords and we went to Tailgaters for Pizza.  Then Walmart gas station and car wash and home. Phone calls from the kids.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. A very full day.  Tomorrow the trailer gets washed.

 We got up about 7:30.  Breakfast and chores.  I got the laundry started.  It was rainy most of the day.  Steve left at 11:30 for work.   Stitched. Colleen came for a visit. Trip to the dog park.  Made enchiladas for dinner.  Steve came home around 6.  Dinner.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and more stitching.

 Breakfast and chores. Made eggs for Steve. Steve went to work at 9:30.  I stitched most if the day. Dogbpark run and trip to Colleen's for bread. Steve ame home shortly after 4. Pot pies for dinner.  Then card Bingo.  Had lots of fun.  Steve won.   Eve won.  Then home for bedtime routine.

August 11, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up on the late side.  Steve sleeps later when he works.  Breakfast and chores.  I got busy stitching.  We made a grocery run to Safeway. Unloaded. Dinner/ lunch was around 2:30.  Steve left for work.  Dog park run.  Then stitchedvthe rest of the night.  Bedtime routine ensues.

 Ivgotvto sleep in this morning.  It was after 8. Breakfast and chores.  Steve went off to work. I finished the Sal. Took Colleen's back to her and visited for awhile.  Dog park run. Steve called to tell me was working till 7.  And to make sure there would be dinner when he got home.  I vaccuumed and dusted.  Feeling very noble.  Late dinner of fried egg sandwiches.   Then TV cuddles and stitching  to finish the night.

 Got up very early so that we could be at the doctors office early to check my rhythm and pace maker. Every thing was OK but hexwantscme to check in with Dr Patel.  Then home to work in the craftroom til it was time to go to the abortion they call the activity meeting.  Then home. More cutting in the craftroom.  Finally stitching the rest of the day.  Trip to the dog park. More stitching.  Dinner was chicken thighs in the ninja.  Finally TV cuddles and stitching to finish off the day. 

August 8, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up  had breakfast. Steve went outside to work.  I started stitching.  Dog park runs.  Was planning on chicken thighs for dinner. Steve surprised me with plans for dinner at Lindo Mexico.  We invited the Ford and Burczyks.   It was OK.  Visited Colleen and she gave me bread and plum leather.  It is yummy.   Came back for TV cuddles and stitching. 

August 7, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got woken up early as Steve wanted to get out and clean up the truck.  Found out oil was leaking. Tried calling Jerry at all-American and of course there was no answer. So offvhe went to talk to Jerry and get donuts.  He came home andcwe had to take it there by 1pm. I called Thousand Trails and determined that we would not be getting into Tahoe Valley.  Tried to apply for RPI . Waiting on that.  Went down to fill popcorn bags for Today's matinee.  Then wevtook the truck down and dropped it off.  Came home.  Steve had lunch.  I was able to stitch in mini intervals.  Then finished Becky's letter and helped Steve send his off.  Then on to Walmart to get prescriptions. I had diarrhea for whatever reason.   Stopped at the quilt store  and car wash. Steve can't pass the car wash and not go in.  Then home then we had to go get the truck . Pick up mail.  Put truck in storage.  Then home for dinner. Finally a couple of hours to watch TV have cuddles and stitch.

August 6, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up at my normal time. Steve went outside. I started laundry the worked on Becky's letter and gluing fabric on the boards for September and October.  Just as I was ready to sit down and sew we took the dogs to the dog park. On the way Steve told me he wants to take a drive to Flagstaff.   No stitching today.  So off we go. Even before we get to Jerome we disagreed over whether we should bring the ice chest.  Steve got pissy again. I hope he resolves whatever is making him so pissy.  Came home and parked the truck in the carport.  Almost did not get it in. We had Kentucky Fried for dinner.  Another dog park run and we were in for the night.  Some more TV and stitching before bedtime routine.
