February 28, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

Last day of the month.  We got up late. Breakfast and chores. Steve had xrays but  they saw no signs of bone cancer  which was good to know.  I worked on putting March together.  Then started stitching.  April is finally done.  Steve found out he made 2 payments to Bank of the West. Took awhile to straighten that out.  Then he got called into work.  Ugh.  I stitched until it was time for him to come home. Got caught up on TV shows.  Fixed egg sandwiches for a late dinner.  Then it was time for bedtime routines. 

February 27, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Crazy day today.  Steve had sciatica so he wanted to go see the doc.  Of course Optima had no openings so he hemmed and jawed and decided to go to urgent care.  I waited here with the dogs and did a dog park run.   I realized that I had my pants on inside out.  Decided not to change them as I could get more wear out of them that way.  Then we jumped in the car and headed out.  I mailed a package to Betty.  Then picked up the dog meds. Then picked up paperwork from Yavapi medical for new patients.  Then Walmart.  Finally  we went to wash the car again before the new storm starts.  Finally home.  Stitching then dinner . Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

February 26, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

Got up after 8.  Guess I should keep Steve up later.  Snack for breakfast.  Started prepping for games with Eve and Terry.  The got here about 2. Mexican train for about 5 hours.  Colleen and Mike would not have liked that.  They left about 7.  It was really great.  Cleaned up. Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

 

February 25, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up really late  Steve had a hard night. He got muscle spasms in his back.  So he slept quite late.  I did laundry today since we are having company for games tomorrow afternoon.   I stitched quite a bit as usual. I worked in the craft room with the glue gun.  Ready to put March Calendar together.  Steve went to work at 2:30.  Took the dogs for their late afternoon constitutional.  Then off to card Bingo.  Won the very first game.  That was it. Then home. Steve was waiting for me. I made cheese quesadillas.  Then it was time to get ready for bed.  

February 24, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

We got up at normal time. Breakfast and chores.  Steve hunkered down in the office so I decided to get a jump on things and vaccuumed and dusted.  Steve wasn't going to go to Colleen's but at 10:30 he and I headed over to Colleen's for a visit.  We sat in her sewing book. Wonderful place. Nice and cozy.  I ended up inviting them to game day on Sunday.  Then home to grab the dogs for a dog park run. We met Jane who lives in a park model on Wolf.  He as a beautiful German Shepherd  named Ellie May and another dog Forest Gump.  Then we drove around the park and returned home to stitch. Another trip to the dog park.  We BBQ'ed hamburgers for dinner.  It snowed lightly this morning.   But is was disappointing for what was promised.  All melted.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.  

February 23, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Busy day. We woke up to sunshine and no snow.  Steve went to carving.  I got dressed and did chores. Stitched.  When he came home we took off to Costco snow threatening. When we got to Costco it was coming down pretty hard.  Steve ran the battery down and the car would not start.  Finally it did.  After Costco we went to tractor supply and picked up a few things.  We got a swing for the porch.  Then home. Steve holed himself up in the craft room.  I stitched.  Started snowing about 4 when we headed out to the dog park Safeway and Kentuky Fried. Been a long time.  Finally it was time for TV  cuddles and stitching. 

February 22, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We woke up this morning to snow and no electricity.   No coffee!  We ate cereal then decided to call Fords and go the back burner for coffee and breakfast.   We met them there.  Josh their son was with them.  Then home till one when we jumped in the car and went to the copy store for copies. Then  Fry's for groceries.   Finally home to put them away.  Then stitching.  I made enchiladas for dinner. Steve was pleased.  They could have been hotter.  Cleanup  and finally it was time for TV and cuddles and stitching.   

February 21, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 The day started out normal. I made Steve scrambled eggs for breakfast with ham and cheese.  Got dressed and cleaned up the kitchen.  Sat down to stitch and Judy and Mike came to visit.  That was an hour out of my day.  She is a very interesting person.   But bou can she talk.  Then a trip to the dog park. Steve left at :30 for work.  Stitched the rest of the day.  Hate these night shifts .  Good thing it is only couple of times a week.   It sure upsets the routines. 

February 20, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 .Steve did not have to work.  So we got up leisurely.  Breakfast and chores.  I stitched most of the day. Two trips to the dog park.steve worked outside. We don't have to go to the doctor about the pacemaker until March 8th.  I can relax for a couple of weeks.   Blood pressure is down.  We had an early dinner.  Beautiful weather today. More snow on the way.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

February 19, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Normal Sunday. Got up at 8.  Stevecwentvto work. Did laundry. Dog park runs.  Colleen is making a hanger for Christine so she came back to me for fabric.  Christine Hatcher number.  Steve came home. Dinner and it was finally time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

February 18, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 I got up about 7:30. We had coffee and I made Steve avacado toast with Colleen's bread.  Then we hung out around the house.steve worked on the puzzle and I stitched. Dog park run. They called Steve in an hour early.  I continued to stitch. Dog park run and mailbox.  Colleen decided to keep me company at card Bingo.  Ralph called.  Then I got home just as Steve arrived.  He was supposed to work till 8:30.  But he decided to leave at 8. We made grilled cheese sandwiches.  Finally  it  was time for TV and cuddles.  Off to bed time chores.

February 17, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Well apparently there is a pacemaker with my name on it.  They determined that I do not need the plumber for the hole in my heart but the electrician will put in a pacemaker.   I have afib.  Tachy dicky syndrome. Brought on by age I guess.  So next week I will see yet another doctor for the pacemaker.  Much calmer now.  Things will work out.  Steve took me out to lunch after the appointment at Firehouse subs. I think his enchantment with work has ended.  He called them and told the powers that be that he would not come in unless they were super busy.  He is only working 9 or 10 hours a day anyway.  Then home and a ride to the dog park. We stopped and chatted with Terry for 20 minutes.  Colleen came to visit for over an hour to catch up.  Then another run to the dog park and swung by the Fords to pick up bread and puzzles.  We decided to eat left overs for dinner.  Cleanup.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

February 16, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up at normal time and Steve tried to go to carving. Nobody wanted to carve in this cold weather.   So after visiting Jim he came home.   Then we hung out till my heart study was over.  Then we were off for a surprise visit to Bosa donuts. Then a hair cut.  Hobby Lobby  and finally the car wash. While we were going through the car wash Patel's office called to have me come in as there were some abnormalities in the readout from the heart monitor.  Just another thing to worry about.  At least he didn't have me running to the hospital.   So he and Doshi will see me tomorrow. Then home.  Stitched till it was time for a dog park run.  A quick dinner of pot pies.   Then it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.   

February 15, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We woke up to lots of snow today.  The dogs did not like going potty in the cold.  We got up and had breakfast.  I stitched and Steve worked a puzzle.  Christine's mother passed this morning.   Then the Fords asked if we wanted to eat Chinese for lunch.  We decided to go.  Lots of snow fell last night but sunny all day.  Very cold out there.  Nice lunch.  Stopped at the bank. Steve must have forgot he gave me $40 bucks which I still have. But he gave me $40 more today!  At 2:30 we drove to Subaru to have the car serviced and the recall done. Steve enjoyed the outer space vibrating chairs in the waiting area.  Finally we went home and had a quick dinner. Then it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.   

February 14, 2023 Irchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Valentine's Day.  Got up early and headed to the nail Salon for our pedicures.   Wet dreary day.  Rain mixed with snow.  Then a Surprise late breakfast at Jen's.  Then home.  Fords came home but decided against  dinner.  Mike still has more tests to undergo.  MRI. etc.  I stitched on and off.  Then my amazing husband decided on an early dinner at Lefty's.   We shared a brownie Sunday.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

February 13, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Winter is still with us. Light sprinkling of snow!.  We got up late again. Breakfast and chores. Steve went to get his partial and pick up plywood.  I stitched and did not do much all day. Dog park trips.  Jerry sent us $50.00 so we could go out for Valentines dinner.  What a guy.  Tacos for dinner. Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.   .

February 12, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Super bowl Sunday.  We got up late. I mistakenly set the alarm. Fortunately I was able to go back to sleep for an hour.  Did 3 loads of laundry. Nice to have Steve home. Stitched.  Dog park run made pigs in the blanket.  Stitched.  No routine today.  Time for shower and bed almost.  

February 11, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We had a quiet day at home. I finished March but still need to get it mounted and decorated.   I made avocado toast for breakfast.  Steve worked outside most of the day.  Couple of trips to the dog park.  Steve told the girls about my problem and got me stressed out.  I will tell the boys after Friday's appointment.   Then a quick dinner we went to card Bingo. Eve won one and I won half . Another lady at our table won the jackpot game.  Finally it was time for TV  and cuddles.

February 10, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Today was a busy day and stressful for the dogs. We rushed out the door to a nine am vet appointment for the dogs their annual wellness check. We got some meds which will hopefully keep Sophie from snarling. Then we dropped into Tractor Supply  for dog food and supplies.  Then Pet Headquarters to have their nails trimmed.  Finally a trip to the grocery store to stock up on groceries and ice cream.  Then home to unload and hang out the rest of the day.  BBQ'ed brats for dinner.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

February 9, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Not much to report. I stitched most of the day. Dog park.  Steve went to carving. Then work until 8.  Then he will be off of a week.  Nice sunny day.  The routine is shit on these days he works till 8.

 Got up normal time. Breakfast and chores.  Stitched most of the day. Steve got a haircut at noon.  Dinner and more stitching  with TV to finish the day.  Stressing over my procedure already.  Ugh.

 Got up normal time. Steve's back is still bothering him. He attempted to see the doc but she was not available.   I did breakfast and chores. Stitched for awhile. Then headed to the activity meeting in the north.  Which I forgot so I was late.  Then home for a trip to the dog park.  More stitching.  Steve went to work. Another run to the dog park. More stitching.   Another late dinner . Made dr's appointment.  Soon it will be time for TV cuddles and stitching.  Hazel  slept all day and us acting strange again.   Hmm.

February 6, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up and went to see the doc.  Stress test cam out fine but have the wear a heart monitor and have the hole in my heart repaired in Phoenix.   What next.  Went to post  office the the Dewey Library and met the wild child from tractor supply.   Then home for lunch.  Then stitching rest of the day and night.  Cooked hamburger Salisbury steak for dinner.  Not a favorite. Finally time to shower and off to read.

February 5, 2023 0rchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 I feel very noble today.  We got up on the early side as Steve worked at 9. I did 2 loads of laundry. Remade the bed. Dusted and mopped. We BBQ'ed steaks which were yummy. Steve thinks he has another kidney stone. Poor guy.  2 trips to the dog park.  Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching.   

February 4, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up on the late side.  Fixed breakfast.  Hung out around the house. I did a load of laundry.   Then a quick trip to Walmart. Shopped. Then home and put away.  Steve went outside. I watched TV stitching.  A quick dinner and off to Bingo. Steve split a Bingo twice. Then home in time for shower and bed.

February 3, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up. As Steve was going out the door we had words. He definitely got up on the wrong side of the bed.  So we had a very quiet day.  I think he didn't want to go out and woodwork so he decided to pick a fight so he could mope until work.  I decided to wait him out.  No escalating the fight. Steve worked til 8 which meant a late dinner.  I stitched the dat away.  My routine is all scrambled up on these late days.  Steve has 3 days to work in the next 2 weeks.  Two of those are late days . 

February 2, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We up early but no coffee.  Had my stress test. When I signed the disclaimer I thought it might be a good idea to leave but it went well and was over quick.  Then we headed to McDonald's for a caffeinated breakfast where I spilled half of it on the floor.  Then the bank.  Then home . We hung out til it was time for a dog park run.  Then at 4:30 we picked up Terry and Eve for wings at Tailgaters. Not exactly my cup of tea but we had a good time.  Then home. Finally it was time for TV cuddles and stitching. 

Feburary 1, 2023 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We hit the phones as soon as we were up trying to correct the wrong account. Hopefully everything seems to be in order.  What a FUBAR.  Steve went to his dentist appointment then we finished up with the phones calls.  Then we headed to to the post office and copy store. Car wash and finally to Bill's grill. Yummy lunch. Finally we stopped at Bosa donuts.  Also yummy.  Finally home.  Then stitching for the rest of the day.  Dog park run.  Too full for dinner. Steve ate leftovers.  Finally headed to the bedroom for TV cuddles and stitching.  Tomorrow is the stress test.
