Today is the last day in this hell hole. Steve's ear is still bothering him. We got up about 7. We left here about 9. We went about 30 miles to Lake Pointsett. Should have camped there. Really beautiful. Then over to Crowley's Nature preserve where we all went potty. Then we went to Walmart for groceries. Came home put away the groceries. We hung out the rest of the day. I did a little sewing. We had left over Pizza for dinner. Dishes. Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.
Well Steve is on the mend. We spent all day at the rig. I finally got some sewing done. In fact I sewed most of the day. This has been some really dark days with some really bad trailer rage. I took a short walk with the dogs. I finished sewing yesterday's old school blocks. Also the fronts of the matching pillow covers for the flannel quilt. Then leftovers for dinner and it was finally time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.
Well when Mama is right she definitely is. Steve finally crumbled and went to urgent care to see about a very bad ear infection. We took off leisurely for a ride. We checked out Craigshead Froest Park. It was really nice. We would not have gotten any satellite there. Then we headed over to the Mississippi. We saw the boyhood home of Johnny Cash. We took a quick glimpse of the Mississippi. We ate at Subway in ocleno. Then came back. We chilled out. We ordered Pizza delivered. Then Steve caved and went to urgent care. We got out of there just before 7. So we flew over to Walmart to fill the prescriptions. Back here we went to our own TV's and I got to cuddle with the dogs.
Well we had quite the day. I got up at 7:30 made breakfast and we leisurely got ready to move. We left at 11:30. Amazing. We drove about 70 miles. When we got to this place I was ready to leave but Steve insisted we stay. We couldn't find the office so we called the owner. Apparently he was at Walmart. We decided to use the bathroom while we waited. Of course he showed up. Then he drove us to the front of the park next to the freeway. He does business out of the back of the truck. Of course we got pens with name of the park! Of course the bike will remain in the trailer for the next week. Hazel finally made a poop. Then we watched our game shows. We do have satelite but no network channels. So I spent over an hour on the phone with DirecTV. I was ready to kill by the time I got off. I made hamburger Strognanoff for dinner. Dishes. Somehow I spilt red jello on my shirt. Bye bye shirt. Anyway after dishes it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.

I wish I was enjoying this trip more. I am definitely ready to settle in one place. So I better enjoy this travel more. I wish Steve was in a better mood or I could shake it off. Since the election he has been so moody. Up then down. Maybe it is me. I have not been in the best of moods either. I just want to sew and the conditions have not been favorable. When we are stable Steve wants to drive around. We just are not in sync.
Anyway we out of the house by 8:30. We has McDonald's for breakfast. We then headed to Heber Springs. We stopped in Pangburn for a potty break. We went by Workamper News yeah . They office. Then we went to the JFK Memorial overlook at Greer's Ferry Dam. By then we weren't speaking. So we headed back to Searcy. I got a haircut, we got propane and I got some groceries at Walmart. Finally we headed home. We got here about 2:30. So we just chilled the rest of the day. We had wrapped hot dogs. Then it was time for our nightly rendezvous on the bed for TV and cuddles with the dogs.
We were up bright and early because I forgot to mute my phone. Once we were up we finished getting ready to take off to our next destination. It was only 166 miles. We left about 9:45. We arrived here at 1:30. We stopped for a potty break at a gas station and a 10 minute lunch break in a Buffalo Hot Wings parking lot. Rest areas are few and far between. The gentleman who owns the park stayed with us till we were set up. He has been here for 78 years. All his life. Just as we finished up all hell broke loose. We had a thunderstorm of epic proportions. Thank heaven we missed the hail. So far anyway. We had dinner and a zoom meeting with the kids. Finally while we were eating out ice cream the owner brought us strawberry shortcake. It was ice cream with strawberries and pie crust chips. Whipped cream strawberries and nuts. I could not even eat it all. I am stuffed. Then it was time for TV no satellite and cuddles with the dogs.
Well Steve stuck to his guns and we got our bucket and shovel learned how to sift the dirt and took off for the diamond mines. There was alot of clay out there but we managed to collect a half of a bucket of dirt. Then we did some sifting. I think we were there an hour at best. Then we took all our things and went back to the dogs. We did our lunch and I decided to fill the rest of the day and finish up the last two loads of laundry. Then we chilled for awhile and went to dinner at the feed bin where they left us sitting and waiting for our food for an hour. When I asked where our food was they "put it at front of the line". We stopped for gas and come home. I finished my last quilt book and did a few chores. Then it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. We are back on the road tomorrow.
