May 21, 2021 Natchez Trace Campground, Hohenwald TN

 We had a fairly good day.  We got up and decided to go to Hohenwald for breakfast  and pick up the mail.  We had a mediocre breakfast at the Southern Grill.  They had no toilet paper and what the had you couldn't put in the toilet.   We came home and I made the bed.  Then I got about 2 hours with of sewing done.  The it was time for more kayaking.  A very nice man who was watching us get out of the boat  helped Steve carry the boat to the truck.  He took pity on us.  I need to loose some weight and so does Steve.  Then we came home and I did some chores in the house while Steve put the boat away. We BBQ'ed ribs that turned out quite well.  Dishes.  Glends called and Steve met someone who used to Live in Lincoln CA.  Drives a Dutch Star.  Two days and we are on the way to the Perry's.   Look like we may have a good time there.  

May 20, 2021 Natchez Trace Campground, Hohenwald TN

 We got up timely and left the house by 8 am.  We took the round about way to Lascasses where Moose and his wife live. We went through Fayetteville.   Loved that area as well as the area where the Kellers live.  We stopped at Walmart so I could grab a plant.  Steve walked the dogs.  I was gone a little too long .  He thru a hissy fit.  We got past it. Some what.  But something has to change.  We got there and chatted for awhile then we had a wonderful lunch.  Loved their house. It was just the right size.  We kedt about 2:30.  Steve was happy cause he was curious about their house as I suspected all along.  We got after 4.  We had grilled cheese for dinner.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

May 19, 2021 Natchez Trace Campground, Hohenwald TN

 Well today was a much better day than yesterday.   Steve was in a much better frame of mind today.  He was up at 3:30 most likely because he slept most of yesterday.   But far be it from me to mention it.  I was able to get some sewing done.  Finished another Snowmam block .it was so worn out the pieces were loosing on the background.   After lunch we took the Kayak out and paddled for about an hour.  It was actually fun.  Steve even thanked me for going with him.  I just about fell over.  We came  back and I finished up my sewing.  We then piddled about. I made some more reservations. Then we ate dinner.  Steve just isn't as sharp as he once was.   He has a real problem staying focused and organized. After BBQ'ed hamburgers there were a few dishes.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   

May 18, 2021 Natchez Trace Campground, Hohenwald TN

 Wow.  It rained all day.  We had a nice morning.   Steve decided he wanted to go down to the Trading post.  I wanted to finish sewing .  So down we went to check out the laundry.  Then we ended up having lunch there.  An hour and half later I started sewing.  Steve and I squabbled all afternoon.   Partly my mood was fucked up.  The I realized he must be coming down off the meds the dr. Gave him for his ear.  We BBQ'ed pork steaks for dinner.  I was told we getting out the boat for fishing.   Also we are now going all the way to Murfreesboro instead of meeting Moose and Susan halfway in Springhill which means we will all day on the road.  I wish I got a vote on some of these plans.  I hope Steve and can work things out.  Finally the day ended as normal with TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

May 17, 2021 Natches Trace Campground, Hohenwald TN

 We got up and drove the two hours to the park.  We got here at 11:15.  All went fairly smooth til we got to our reserved spot.  Guess what somebody took the reserved spot off and jumped in there.  We took a spot next to them.  Fortunately we are connected to their wifi so life can go on.  We have satelite TV but no network channels.   According to direct they have no coverage there.  Steve took a nap while I read my book and worked some crosswords. I took a good walk but need to do more.  I cooked chicken cordon blue for dinner.  Did dishes.   Got all settled then Steve decides to put up the back which I wanted to do when we took the bike out.  I wish Steve and I would get back in sync.  I wish  I could enjoy this trip more.  Anyway finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs. 

May 16, 2021 Beech Lake Family Campground, Lexington TN

 Well it was a long day riding in the truck most of it.  We got up late and had breakfast.   We jumped in the truck and checked out the route to the new Campground.   Since we haven't  been there for 3 years it took us awhile to to figure the route there which is very convoluted.   Any when we found the park we also found the very nice park ranger who helped find a spot and snagged it for us.  Then we drove back stopping in Waynesboro for lunch at McDonald's.   Then back to the park stopping at Walmart and Dollar General.   Finally back at the trailer we put away the groceries and kicked back having had a late lunch. Finally it was time for TV and cuddles.   Turns out bizzaro Steve was back . I tried to make reservations for our time with the boys.  All of a sudden his black mood was back.  

May 15, 2021 Beech Lake Family Campground, Lexington TN

 We moved from the awful Campground Jonesboro AR where we  had satellite to this lovely place with no satellite.   We took our time getting hooked up but it was probably 9 when we left.  We took Hwy 55 up thru Blythesville to the southern tip of Missouri up to carrotherville then over TN.   The road was so bad in AR that Steve pulled over because he thought we had a flat tire.  We stopped for a potty break and a lunch break.  We turned down the right road.  We thought that we missed the turn  but just a we were backing up into someone's yard they came out to help us and tell us that we were headed in the right direction.   We arrived just after 2.  One of the perms gave Steve a ride  to the office.  We got set up and took naps. The we walked the Campground.   We had dinner and dishes.  Finally it was time for TV and cuddles with the dogs.   I think I

am ready to settle down. I hope Steve gets there soon.  Before we kill each other.
