 Steve let me sleep till almost 8.  He went to the gym as soon as I got up. He had already taken care of the dogs. Then he came in to change clothes and went to help the Fords pull out the shrubs in the front of their yard.  Then he came back and I went for a short walk. Then I worked in the sewing room making the sham for Dan's quilt.  One more step and I will be finished.  Then lunch, more sewing, and then stitching. A couple trips to the dog park.  We checked out the Fords garden. Or lack thereof.  Then dinner of left over pork loin.  Cleanup and it was time for TV, stitching and cuddles. 

May 6, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 I got up at 7. Breakfast and chores. Steve took a motorcycle ride to scope out fishing spots.  Ever the great sportsman.  I got the binding on the quilt. Definitely not perfect.  When steve got back we went to the dog park and out the job Fords were doing on their place.   Came back and finished the quilt.  Definitely not happy with the outcome.  But it was my first attempt at using the machine on the binding.  Then stitching. Steve worked in the shed.  Dog park,  dinner and cleanup.  Then stitching and cuddling.  

May 5, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Happy cinco de Mayo.  Steve went to carving . I relaxed and had breakfast. Steve came in at  10:30 took the dogs to the dog park. Then grabbed our stuff and off to the potluck at the round house.  It was nice but not my favorite foods. We helped clean up.  Then back home to chill out.  We were not hungry for dinner.steve did a little carving.  I stitched and sewed the label on Dan's quilt.   Tomorrow  I will hopefully finish it.  Stitched the night away.  Finished the day with stitching and cuddles and TV. 

May 4, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 We got up at the crack of dawn so Steve could go fishing at Dead Horse State Park. We got there about 8:30 and  by 10:30 he had his limit. We came home. It was a silent trip as Steve got pissed off again since I wouldn't spoon feed him some nuts.  We stopped at Safeway.  Then home.  Unloaded the truck. I got our tamale pie started. Stitched for a couple of hours. Colleen and Mike came for dinner and brought bread. Sat on the porch and chatted for awhile.  Finished the cleanup. Time for TV and stitching. 

May 3, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Bizarro Steve has surfaced.  Started being crabby first thing this morning.   We got up and started moving.  We checked out Outlaw donuts.  Won't go there again for donuts.  Then Costco and Walmart.  Back home for lunch. Then the dog park and stopped by Colleen's to pick up my very expensive needle minders.  Steve was going to wait un the cart.  Didn't want to stay and visit.  I put up and took down the dog pens. Decided not to sell them.  Not in great shape.  Couln't get a huge amount of money for them.  Then I finally sat down and got to sew as we are going fishing tomorrow.   Then dog park again.  We finally got to sit and visit with the Fords.   Despite Steve noy wanting to.  Came home and did my chores and started dinner.  I made comfort food for Steve . Loin roast, mashed potatoes and gravy vegies.  Nirvana for Steve.  Cleanup and  time for stitching and cuddles. 

May 2, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 Got up at 7. Breakfast and chores.  Steve went to Storage to do a couple of chores. I washed the shower door and slider door. Then a quick vaccuum. Worked on floss.  Then I actually cut the binding for Dan's quilt.  Then trip to dog park. Lunch entailed boiling eggs for plain tuna sandwich.   Then stitching.  A quick trip to deliver the rent check.  More stitching.  Dog park.  We BBQ'ed trout for dinner.  Thank you Valdez's.   Cleanup and it was time stitching and cuddles. 

May 1, 2022 Orchard Ranch Home, Dewey AZ

 It was a great day.  Got up about 8 had breakfast started the laundry. We made a Costco run.  Came back and unloaded. Stevevordered some things from Cabellas though I had to call and order them.  I got to work in the quilt room. Actually got the buttons sewed on on Sew she did! Anxious to mount the thing.  We took a couple trips to the dog park the a quick visit to the Fords to meet their son Josh.  Very nice man.  Home for dinner of leftover spaghetti.   Cleanup and TV time.  Stitching and cuddles.
