July 24, 2020 O'Sullivan's Sportsmen Resort, Othello,WA

Our last day here was very laid back. We got up late.  We finished packing up.  Had lunch then hung out in the house. We made some reservations but found it was had to find something available on such shot notice on the coast.  It was  fairly cool day but the very windy. At five we jumped in the car.  We went to Moses lake.  We got cash at Horizon bank.  Then picked up a pizza at Papa Murphy's and filled the truck with gas.  Then back to the rig for dinner.  Then TV and cuddles for the entire rest of the night.

July 23, 2020 O'Sullivan's Sportsmen Resort, Othello WA

Well another day another tire valve replaced.  We left the house about 8:15 ish.  We headed to the Thousand Trails park near Quincy called Crescent Bar.  Small park but very nice.  Then we headed to Leavenworth to see the park there.  We stopped by the bathrooms.   When we started the car we heard a big whoosh.   So we didn't get to see the pretty part of the park by the lake.  We didn't get to the quilt store either.  We limped into Wenatchee to the Les Schwab for the tire repair.  Once the tire  repair was done.  Wecdro e back thru Leavenworth but there were so many people there we didn't want to stop.  Then back through Ellensburg to the rig.  We got back about 4.  I then I put away the stuff from Chewy and my sewing stuff in the back.  Dinner was fried potatoes and smoked sausage.  Then dishes and TV and cuddles.  We leave here Saturday. 

July 22, 2020 O'Sullivan's Sportsmen Resort, Othello WA

This is the first time in a long while that I have forgotten to make my nightly journal entry.  Just wanted to say that Steve has really been nice.  He helps  he even made the bed for me
After breakfast we said goodbye to our new friends the crawfords.  I got some sewing done but mostly we just hung out and relaxed around t h.g.h ee house.  We had tacos for dinner. 
About 3,:30 Steve wanted to take a ride to a local fruit stand.  We had been there 3 years ago Tonnammakers.  We got a few things.  Home about 5. Finally it was time for TV and cuddles.

July 21, 2020 O'Sullivan's Sportsmen Resort, Othello WA

Very laid back day.  We got up about 8 and had a quick breakfast.   Then Steve carved and I sewed.  We had lunch. Then more sewing.  We tried to stay cool. Then we BBQED  steak fir dinner.  Then the neighbors Priscilla and Georgia Crawford came over for a campfire with no fire and dessert.  We chatted till the bugs drove us inside. Finally it was time for TV and cuddles.

July 20, 2020 O'Sullivan's Sportsmen Resort, Othello WA

Road trip today. It was another incredibly hot day all day.  Were up and on the road by 8,:30.  We heeded over to Pelouse Falls Sate Park east of us. We hike out a short ways to view the falls. We drove through the town of Starbuck but oddly enough we did not find any designer coffees. Then we checked out Lions Ferry State Park slightly  further East.  Then we headed south to Lewis and Clark State Park where we had lunch.  It was pretty close to Walla Walla.  We actually got 5 lbs .  What I am going to do with all those onions I will never know.  After lunch we headed to the Tri Cites where we checked out Sacajawea State Park near Pasco.
We then headed home but missed our turn.  And wound around all the wheat fields.  It was truly 'for spacious skies with amber fields of grain. 
We both took naps and then dinner.  Dishes and TV with cuddles.

July 19, 2020 O'Sullivan's Sportsmen Resort, Othello WA

Another quiet day.  We took off to Moses Lake by 9.  We had breakfast  at Mom and Pop s Diner.  Not a bad breakfast but service was questionable.  Then if the Walmart.   Came home and out it all away.  Then I started sewing.  Steve did a little carving. We had leftovers for dinner.  Then drove over to potholes state park and enjoyed the shade.  We sat in our chairs and chatted with Jerry Stickney for at least half an hour. 
Dan called this morning to let us know that his test came positive for the Covid.   So I have that to worry about now.
Finished the day with TV and cuddles.

July 18, 2020 O'Sullivan's Sportsmen Resort, Othello WA

Another hot one.  We got up.  Steve  did some carving  after breakfast.   I finally got the back set up and did some sewing. I finished block 10 and started working on another quilt.   We were going to Walmart but it got too late and too hot .  We BBQ'ed ribs for dinner.  It is only going to get hotter as the week progresses.   We joined Harvest Hosts.  Am anxious to see how that works out.  We have our first trial when we leave here a week from today.  After dinner we decided not even to go out and sit outside.  TV  and cuddles  ended the day.
