Steve was up and out the door by 6:30 to take the truck into Madera for service. Or that was the plan. He was home by 1030 so he must have got in and out right away. I on the other hand got up leisurely. I got dressed right away and took the puppies for a walk. We walked a long ways and finally Hazel got the urge and pooped a nugget out. Hooray! A little further down the road she did more.
Once Steve got home he grabbed his tools and the turret and went to work to install the thing on the roof. Thank God there were no mishaps. He pulled the tools up in a bucket with a rope. Then we tried a rope to the turret and levered it up on a rope as well. In about an hour he had the thing up and working. He really is an amazing man despite his faults.
Once we had it up I made lunch. I had several calls to make. Winegard forgot to include a return shipping label. They will email one hopefully by tomorrow which we then print and attach to the package and drop off at the FedEx shop center.
While Steve was on the roof he clipped some branches off so I gathered them up and put them in the Teryx. So we took a little ride down to the creek to dispose of them we stopped by Russell's so we could set up a meal date with them.
Then we stopped by the pole barn to talk to Kent. At the propane filling station Steve picked up a tank and I got out to walk the dogs. Soon Hazel delivered a huge poop. Sophie too.
Steve smoked and cooked some chicken thighs on the BBQ. His best ever. Yummy.
Dishes and TV and a shower complete the evening.
Tomorrow is Jim's court date. We will pray that things go well for him and Becky. He is such a great guy. Please let everything go well for him Lord.
