What a day!. We left our roadside rest stop which I have to say was not all that bad. I was thrilled to weigh in at 204.6 down 2.2 from last week. Would love to see it down again next week.We were way in the back of the rest rooms. It was very quiet and nobody bothered us. I didn't miss any TV programs due to the generator.
We were headed to Boerne for breakfast at Denny's but the parking was not conducive to our rig size. So we headed to Pipe Creek and Jimmy's burgers where I had waffles and fruit and sausage. It was great.
We arrived at our par about 11:30. We found a great spot and got set up. We took a short walk down to the lake. The sun came out about then so we took our time setting.up. We finally got the motorcycle out and I decided to take a cold shower and wash my hair.
We had dinner about 6:30. Still not used to the time change. Did the few dishes still without hot water. I think we finally got some hot water now. Not sure what the problem was.
Then we decided to sit out for awhile with the fire. It was nice and the temp was just right.
Finally came in and finished the handwork on the green crazy quilt. I was also able to square up the layer cake quilt and put it together in rows. Not real crazy about it but I have decided to give it to Brita and Dave. It is too big for my machine. I will have to take to a longarmer to quilt.
It is very humid here. At least until the sun goes down.
