December 31, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

This the last day of 2919.  Just another day.  Got up at 7:30.  Had to wake up the sleeping giant.   He was up and getting ready for carving us session.  I got up did chores then sewed for awhile. At 10:30 the dogsI walked down to the clubhouse to meet Steve.  Then we were off to have Steve's root canal done.  We filled out all their paperwork only to find out that the tooth decay was too bad to save.  So he will have to have an implant on either side of this lower gum.  Anyway the appointment is made to have the tooth pulled next Tuesday.
We came home for lunch.  Then I went down to Betty's to work on the placement of the blocks on one particular quilt.   We talked about what is going on with her and Larry.  I hate to see them at odds.  Even though Larry is not my favorite person I liked it better when they weren't fighting.   I came home and we got ready for Taco Tuesday.   We had a good group.  After that a group of us went to Dairy Queen for peppermint Blizzards. Unfortunately even though they were advertising them outside they weren't making them on the inside.  Home to feed the dogs and take them to the dog park.  Then TV and games.  A quiet New Year.   Welcome 2020.

December 30, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

Well today was a very interesting day.  Up early as usual. 7:30 for me.  Another cold day here at the park and overcast.  Breakfast and chores.  I sewed for awhile Steve painted his carving.  At 11:30 steve decided to take a Teryx ride to get water and end up at the dog park.  A quick lunch then off to coloring with Betty.  Betty and Larry are not getting along.  Betty was on the phone to me and an altercation broke out.  Larry threw coffee at Betty.  Anyway we talked before everybody got to coloring.  Then we colored.   Steve came to pick us up fir the show about twenty to three.  One problem he forgot to get Alan.  So off he went to get Alan and then return for us.  Later I found out that he also forgot to walk the dogs and put out a pee pad.  Anyway we went to the show.  The guys saw Richard Jewell and the girls saw Ftozen II.  The dinner at el Manuel.   Not great but better than Eva's.  Back at the Ranch I ran the dogs to the dog run and Steve had their food ready.  Then movies and TV.

December 29, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

I got up late today 8 ish.  Had breakfast and did morning chores.  We decided to make clam chowder and asked Sandy and Alan to join us.  So if to Frys to get supplies.  Back home to out everything away.   Started  to make the soup.  I also boiled some eggs to make tuna salad.  Nancy Gonzales dropped by to introduce herself.  They know the Etzel's. I made the soup in the instapot.  That wa a mistake.  I cut up all the veggies prior to making it.  When I dumped the potatoes in and turned on the pressure we took a Teryx ride and stood and chatted with the Littles.  When we got back the pressure did not turn off when it when it was supposed to and the potatoes were mushy.
Then Alan came tell us that Sandy's sister had finally passed. Which is funny because I had stopped to talk to her about 1 when I walked the dogs.  She said her sister was having a bad day and she was doing laundry  just in case something happened.   Very prophetic.   Any Alan brought canned peaches and dessert and then left saying Sandy wasn't up for dinner which is understandable.   So we dined alone.  I haven't done dishes yet.
I am beginning to think that I am ready to quit rving.  I am getting really tired of being in each others way..  I am ready  to leave  Fiesta Grande RV Resort.

December 28, 2919 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

Another day in paradise tripping over each other.  Got up early--before 7 and got ready to leave the house and have breakfast with Colleen and Mike.  We went to Mimi's.   We had a good breakfast.  Definitely would go back.  A quick stop at Lowes to get a throw rug for the bedroom.  It has been frigid all day long with a chilly wind blowing.   Once we got home I decided to our away Christmas and restocknmy ostomy supplies.   Steve tried painting outside but the wind was too strong.  I got everything put away and Steve got it all put back in the loft.  The Fiesta Grande Ladies social circle had an impromptu meeting at Betty's.  We worked everything out at least for the next couple of weeks.
I hemmed Steve's sweat pants and did a bit of sewing.  We did instapot ribs for dinner.  I sewed for about an hour after  dinner .  Then did uo the few dishes.  Then off to watch TV.  It will be slightly warmer and hopefully less windy.

I think I have the after Christmas blues.   It has been cold and raining all day.  I got up at 8.  Breakfast and morning chores.   Betty came by at the scheduled time for our quilt strategy meeting.  That lasted til noon.  Steve sharpened carving knives.  A quick lunch and off to coloring. Larry drove us.  We colored til 3 as usual the Larry drove us home.  Then Steve and I and the dogs ran some errands downtown. We checked the mail and found that David and Bemrita sent me a $50.00 Visa card.  I was astounded.   First time that has happened  in a very long time. Propane for the trailer gas for the Teryx.  Home to wait for the rain to stop.  A quick trip to the dog park where we got caught in the rain.  Dinner for the dogs and for us the last of the awful spaghetti.    Dishes then the usual TV.   I think I am sick of Christmas movies.

December 26, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

There is not a lot to report today as I spent all day doing laundry. I finally got up at 7:45.  Breakfast then started sorting laundry.  The plan was to do three loads of clothes the then in a few days do the whites towels and bedding.  However Hazel got sick on on the bedding so everything changes.  Off I went with the towels bedding and whites.  I turned into 4 loads.  Once the were in the dryer I ran home and got the regular clothes.  Back to the laundry.  Loaded three more washers with clothes.  The laundry police wanted to know how many washers.  3 is the magic number. I didn't mention the 3 dryers that were going.  Anyway I folded those and put the next three loads in and took all the dry and folded clothes home.  Made lunch and took off for the laundry.   Waited for the clothes to finish drying only to find that one load  didn't start.  So waited for that to finish drying but had to run home and get the credit card .  Finalky brought the last loads home.  Took a Teryx ride with the dogs before it rained.  Vacuumed the floors put up the back remade the bed walked the dogs and fed them.  We picked up Sandy and Alan and went to the Big Wa for dinner.  We dropped them off and headed home in between rain showers.  TV and games for the rest of the night.

Christmas 2019.  I set my alarm for 7 but was awake about 20 minutes  early.  I got up and made Steve biscuits and gravy, bacon and fried eggs.  We got dressed and headed out early to see the last episode in the Star Wars saga.  Steve slept through most of the show.  I just wanted to see it because I had seen all the others.  Anyway we were there until noon.  Then back to the park.  I stopped and chatted with Betty for awhile.  Then back to chill out and wait to go dinner.  We talked to some of the kids and I did the dishes.  We left the house at 3:30 to go to Cabos.   Big mistake.   Service was terrible.   They didn't bring butter or sour cream until the potatoes were almost cold.  We didn't leave there until 6.  Then home to the doggies  for TV and ice cream finally.

December 24, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort , Casa Grande AZ

Well it is finally Christmas Eve  2019. It was pouring when we woke up.  So we had breakfast then when the rain stopped the dogs went for their walk.  We did our chores and got ready to go to the market.  The market was packed and the debit cards were not working as well as the chip reader.  Anyway we brought the groceries home and put them away.  Then I decided to sew for awhile.  Steve carved.   We gas a late lunch as we were only having soup for dinner.  I watched a movie the we bundled up for the walk to the clubhouse for dinner.  We ate soup breadsticks and dessert from Olive garden. We left there under protest from Pastor Ron before the Christmas Eve candlelight service.  We walked back from the Clubhouse stopping at Jubliee's house to see a quilt.  Then home for TV and dog walks between showers.
I am between quilt projects and kind of boring.  Ready for the holidays to be icer.  They were kind of flat with Steve being so under the weather.

Steve is much better thank God. He slept in until 9 am.  I slept till 8 and did not get up once to go potty.   I got dressed and took the dogs to the dog park.  Then breakfast.   I hung out for a bit then did some sewing.  Off to coloring with Sandy, Betty and Colleen.  After coloring  we had an early dinner.  Rain coming.  After dinner dishes and TV as usual. Pretty  laid back day.  Glad Steve is getting better, sorry we waited so long to go to the doctor.

December 22, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

Steve finally decided to go to urgent care this morning.  I made an appointment for 2:30.  I made him ham and eggs for breakfast and did the rest of the morning  chores.  I was hoping to avoid going with him but that was not to be.  Nobody had much energy this day.  It was overcast  all day.  I sewed a little.  I am between projects right now so I am practicing on my four patch blocks for potholders.   I wish it was successful  more consistently.   The we went to the doc in the box.  He got a breathing treatment as expected then we went to Walgreens for the drugs.  Back to the house.  Just as I texting the Fords they dropped by.  Then we had waffles for dinner.  A walk with the dogs,  dishes, and TV.   Wish Christmas stuff was done with.  Actually all we have left is the Neal's on Christmas eve and Christmas.

December 21, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

We had a miserable night last last.  I fell and hurt my shoulder and hit my temple on the pavement right outside of our trailer.  Of course Steve didn't hear a thing.  I couldn't get comfortable  and Steve kept me awake coughing.  Anyway it was between 2 an3 when I finally fell asleep.  Then up early and dozed on the couch for an hour.  Tried going back to bed.  Had breakfast and chores.  Made up the goodie plates.  We delivered them.  Steve drove  and I jumped out to deliver the goodies.  Came back and hung out at the house the rest of the day.  Took a nap.  We got a Pizza for dinner. Thank to a reminder from Betty  we watched the lighted cart parade.   Then TV.   I didn't even sew today.

Well this illness if Steve's is killing both of us.  He is miserable but refused help.  I got up late  ate breakfast and did chores.  Headed out to the post office  and got propane.  Back at the rig and waited until it was time to go to lunch with the girls.  Sandy and Betty.  We ate at the creative cafe.  Then hit Frys for groceries.   Where we saw the residents from Fiesta Grande.  Got home where Steve managed to feed himself  but couldn't manage to take the dogs to the dog park.  Then I sewed for awhile.  I sat down to read and ended up taking a short nap. Dinner dishes and the bedroom where i finished the hand work on the quilt.  Hope Steve gets better soon.

December 19, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

There just isn't enough hours in the day to do everything I want to do.  We got up early this morning.  Steve only got a few hours of sleep due to his cold.  We jammed over to the post office before it got crazy. Back home.  I sewed . The machine  was giving me fits but we worked it out.   Steve did some prep  work for the fire suppressant install with Mooney.   He arrived about noon.  He brought his cute little puppy Angel.   He left about 2. I went down and visited with Betty for about an hour.  The a Teryx ride to welcome the Fords.   Back to the rig fir dinner.   Dishes then TV while doing the hand sewing on the quilt.

December 18, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

The sick one is recuperating though he still has a bad cough.  We got up fairly early.  Neither one of us got a good night rest.  Steve and I took off to get our toes done and I got my nails done. Steve went to the store to get drugs while I got my manicure.  Then over to Office Max to pick up my copy job.  Back to the house. A very short Teryx  ride  to get water bottles filled .I sewed for a minute the lunch and off to color.  Mostly we talked and gossiped.   Back to the house. I prepared the binding for the quilt.  I grabbed a bit to eat then off to Bingo.  No surprises there.  Loose loose loose.  Back at the house for TV  and games.

Steve sick day number 2.  We got up and did chores, I ran to the mail for Steve.  Steve painted I  played in the sewing room.  I got my potholders packaged up.  Then made some more disappearing 4 patches .  Getting better at it.  I cut the binding for the quilt.   We made lunch and walked the dog.  I made some praline crunch  for the boys.  Finally it was time to go to Taco Tuesday solo.  We exchanged a few gifts.  Home for TV and games.  Not much else to report.

December 16, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

I think Steve has come down with whatever Betty and Larry had.  Hey.  I will probably be down with it for Christmas.
We got up at the normal time. Did chores and ate breakfast.   We jumped in the car and drove to the Post Office.  We mailed packages off to the kids and Grandkids.  Fortunately we got there when we did.  When we left the line was clear out to the Lobby.  Back to the house.  I sewed for an hour then took off for my much needed hair cut.  Then back to walk the dogs and walk down to the clubhouse to catch the bus for Tuscon and the Gaslight Theater.   It was cute but not nearly as nice as Barleens.   We were back by 5:30. I finally  finished all the potholders now package them up for tomorrow night.  I finally figured out how to get the binding on without having to rip out sections on every potholder.   Now I have to perfect the disappearing 4 patch.  One or two a day should work.  The when those are all done I need to learn how to square them up when I quilt them.
Finally it was time to retire to the bedroom for TV.

December 15, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

This is a really short one tonight.  We got up and I fixed Steve a big breakfast.   I did the chores then at 9:45 we went over to the Thirsty Donkey and met Betty , Larry, Janet, John, Sand and Alan.  We watched the Chiefs game.  They have 20 TV's.  More or less.  We had some snacks while we were watching.   We left there about 2 and went to Walmart .  It was crazy there.  Then we came home and let the puppies out.  Then I started sewing.  The potholders are not turning out as well as I expected.   I need to take more time and do a better job.  I need to find a way to keep them straight.   Very frustrating.   We ate leftovers for dinner.  Dishes and more sewing.   A last trip to the dog park and TV to finish off the evening.

December 14, 2017 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

This was an incredibly busy day.  I baked cookies all day.  First I put together the 7 layer cookies and let them set .  Then I made the chocolate chunk cookies and baked them.  Then I baked the 7 layer cookies while I made the cream cheese snickerdoodle cookie bars.  Baked them.  Then cleanup started. I reorganized some of my quilting  things. About 4:30 we did our Teryx ride stopping to talk to Larry and Betty.  A stop at the dog park.  Steve carved most of the day.  We BBQ'ed chicken thighs.  Dishes then TV for the evening. I should be ready for Christmas by tomorrow night.

December 13, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

We were up and out the door early this morning.   It has seemed like Saturday all day today.  So after chores were done we headed out on errands.   First stop Harbor Freight.   Then Kiwes since Harbor didn't have the rake Steve wanted.  Then we got propane for the trailer and diesel for the truck.   Finally last stop was Safeway.  Then back to the rig to put away groceries.   Then we each did  . Mad dash for our respective corners me to sew and Steve to Carve.  The gods went out to the pen after their walk to the dog park. We broke for lunch and Steve's afternoon Siesta.  I continued to sew till Sandy and Betty came over.  After they left we were both back at it.  Steve after more napping.  So we both worked late.  We decided to go out and grab a bite rather than BBQ.   So we jumped in the truck and drove out to Culver's.   Then back home.  I cleaned up the sewing room and put away the 100+ potholders yet to be made.  I have to figure out a full proof way to have the potholders come out right.  Still learning the pitfalls.
Finally TV for the rest of the night.  Getting sick of Christmas movies.

December 12, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

Wow another incredibly busy day.  We got up, me at 7 am.  Definitely way too early.  Did morning  chores and loaded up the laundry.   Steve dropped me at the laundry then walked across the courtyard to carving.  I loaded up the washers.   Bad me I used 4 washers.  I dumped them all in three dryers and ran home to walk the dogs.  20 minutes of sewing the back down to the laundry  with 9 minutes  to spare.  Then all the clothes got folded.  Steve came in to get me while I was still folding  and cherry picked his clothes out that he was willing to fold.  Rushed back to the rig to get ready for lunch with Paul  and Shirley  Heebner.   We went to the Creative Cafe.   Where we ran into Betty and Dorothy.  Great lunch .  Then back to the rig.  We finished decorating for Christmas  by putting the lighted Christmas wreath out front.  Then I mended the wreath box and put it up out of the way.  Then I vacuumed the floors.  Then the sewing began.  I quilted all the potholders , trimmed them, and ironed all the bindings.  Tomorrow I am ready to sew on the bindings!  At dusk we decided to take s Teryx ride and pick a winner in the decorations contest.  We were in the Teryx with the list and a flashlight.   Two dogs and a pencil and notebook.   Then a fried egg sandwich.   More sewing until 9:30 which is not normal.  Lots to do this weekend.   Baking to do.

December 11, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

Well today was an interesting day.  I got up and did chores.  Then sewed for awhile.   At 11:30 Betty and I took off  in our truck with me at the wheel.  We drove out the quilters having to turn around only once.  Steve actually suggested that we go alone.  We stopped  at JoAnn's and I checked out Bonworth's which is no longer in business.   Back to the rig for lunch and more sewing.   Some Christmas decorating.  Dinner, dishes and Bingo.  Betty  and Tami Howard joined us.  We didn't win.  Back to the rig.  Got the laundry ready the settled up on the bed for TV and games.
Didn't even get to play words until almost 5.  We had left over hamburger Strognanoff  for dinner.

December 10, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

Wow we had a really busy day.  Started off with Steve heading off to carving after breakfast. I sewed for a couple of hours.  Steve found out that Sandy and Alan were going to organ pipes pizza.  They were going with Suzanne in her car so we all drive on our own.  We left here about 11:45 and arrived there about 12:40.  We sat in the parking lot waiting for everyone to gather.  It was absolutely amazing.   We ate mediocre pizza but the organ  pipes  were amazing.  It was buffet style service but we had plenty of food.  Brett played about an hour the told us about the different instruments incorporated in the wurlitzer organ.  Left there about 3 and made it home just in time to walk the dogs and  take off for Taco Tuesday.   We stayed and visited with them til about 6:30 then headed home after a quick stop at Fry's.   Back at home I sewed for awhile the it was TV in the bedroom.

December 9, 2017 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

Today was perfect. Not.it was raining when i woke up.  Steve was in his chair asleep.  He was in a foul mood most of the day.  We got the dogs taked care of then took off for Coolidge and the Walmart there.  Much fewer people there.  It is 20 miles away.  It rained off and on.  We got back about 10:30 then I put away the groceries and fixed lunch for the grinch.  Steve was upset because we had a few raindrops on the back patio.  We either leave it up on down.  Anyway that set him off for the rest of the day.  I decided not to go to coloring and sew for the rest of the day.  But by the time we should have left for coloring  the sun came out.  I took Betty the onion I borrowed and made our way over to the dog park.  More sewing and watched some TV.  Steve lost the magnet to his name tag which threw him into a real tizzy.   Then a Teryx ride to check the mail.  I fixed a new dinner tonight.  Bacon Ranch Spaghetti with Parmesan.   Steve was kind of leary but in the end he liked it.  It was pretty fast and easy.  Did dishes and it was time for TV in the boudoir.

December 8, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

A quiet day in the park today.  We got up and went to cracker barrel with the Clark's and the Bances.  We left there about 11 and went to Fry's  for mushrooms.  Back to the rig.  Dig walk then sewing.  Sewed til about 4 and accomplished a lot.  A Teryx ride.  The dinner prep.  Borrowed an onion from Betty.   Hamburger Strognanoff.   Dishes.  Then TV.
I am just about ready to have my colonectony reversed.  It's the loose stool I don't like.

December 7, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

We forgot to go to the parade of lights downtown today.  Doubt Steve's  back would take it.  We didn't go to the craft fair and weenie roast.  I got up just before 8 and made Steve sausage and eggs.  Then I made doggie bisquits.  Then sewing and carving. I cut and sewed  most of the day.  About 2 1 walked over to the sewing room with Betty.  I took some of Betty's giveaways.   Then we went over to Sandy and we all decided to go out for breakfast.  We took a Teryx ride to the mailbox.  We finally got rid of that evil carpet in the back.  Then back to sewing.  Walk the dogs, feed the dogs, make dinner, eat dinner, dishes finally TV time.

December 6, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

Another fun day at Casa Grande.   We got up leisurely and had breakfast.   Steve said his back was better.  Did morning  chores then we took a tour in the Teryx to check the mail.  Steve chatted with Don Brooks and Dave and Tina Howard.  Back at the houe I started to sew' Steve carved.
Then Steve irritated his back again. I searched for his back brace. We ate lunch. I started to sew again.  Betty called to get approval on some material but my phone wasn't working.   Fortunately she called Steve.  Then she called again to see if I wanted to go to JoAnn's.   Which of course I did.  So we took off and and had a great time shopping.  We went to Fry's for a few groceries.   Back home for sewing .  We made ribs in the instapot.   I forgot to put in liquid so we had a couple of stumble steps.  But they turned out great.  I did the dishes the we went back to check the mail.  Sandy and Alan were back from their trip from hell.  We stopped and visited them then hit the dog park. Finally TV and games before we tucked in for the night.

December 5, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

I set the alarm for 7 and Steve made sure I was up and on the move. About 7:30 I heard some loud noises.  It turned out to be somebody cutting down a large tree about 2 spaces down the road.  They had it done and entirely gone in about 45 minutes.  Guess they were worried about  trees coming down if there is another storm.   They lost two and  took out a park model in the last storm we had.  We took our first ATV trip of the season this morning.   We were supposed to be down by the laundry by 9.  We left here at 8:20.  There were 12 units as our backdoor neighbor Kevin and Joan from Windsor called them.  I was the only woman but Steve wanted the company.  I wanted to take the tour of Casa Grande Mountain.   Some people like us drove their ATV the 3 Miles  to the parking lot and rendezvous spot. On guy who was trailering his unit somehow got lost and we waited about 15 minutes  before we took off.  Apparently the last big rain we had washed a lot of dirt away.  Some places were pretty rocky and dicey going up the hills.  We are back in the park about noon.  We hustled down to the office to get tickets for the Christmas eve soup supper  and the trip to the Caywood cotton farm.  Back at the rig I took the dogs to the dog park,  fixed some lunch and  started sewing while Steve dumped, polished the motorcycle and we lowered the back patio. Took a Teryz ride then back to sewing.  Finally I fixed leftovers for dinner.  Dishes and finished off the evening with TV.

December 4, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

Well today was a fun day.  Steve took the truck to get it serviced at the Ford dealership.   Betty picked me up and we headed over to JoAnn's and spent almost 2 hours .  Still have to make more trips for quilts for a couple more grandkids.  Then we went to the dollar store.  Really nice store.  Big and well stocked.  Finally we fought the crowds at Fry's.   Senior day 10% discount on groceries.   As the time progressed Betty's energy diminished.   So she dropped me off and went home for a three hour nap. I walked the dogs then we took the recycling to Don Morris  and filled up our water jug .  Lunch then more sewing and carving.  We ate a simple  dinner then Steve and I had a fun but not profitable time at Bingo. Despite breaking open a double yolker egg we did not win any money.
Home for dishes and TV.

December 3, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

It was a red letter day.  I cleaned the house from stem to stern. I vacuumed in the she shed and cleaned the back bathroom.   Swept the main cabin and mopped.  Mopped the bathroom  then dust mopped the bedroom.  All while Steve was at the Dentist.  We took a Teryx ride and checked the mail.  We got a seat for the Gaslight theater.   Came back for lunch.  Betty  called and asked me to walk to the office.  I wanted to pay for the theater which I needed to drop off at the office.  I jumped in the Teryx and off I went.  Betty bought her tickets then we went to the office. We stood and waited for a couple of minutes.  When they finished and were walking out I recognized them as Mike and Colleen Ford.   We hugged then chatted for awhile.  Betty and I went in the Library and then took a tour of the park where the tree fell.  Then I took her home.  Mike and Colleen were chatting with Steve.  After they left o fussed with the potholders I am in the process of making.  About 4:15:we left the dogs and did Taco Tuesday with Dorothy and Richard and Janer and John.  We sat there until 6 laughing and chatting.   Then home to feed and walk the dogs.   Finally it was time to relax with the TV and the phone.

December 2, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

Well the washers and waxers came a few minutes after 8.  There was about 5 guys working on the trailer.  The dogs especially Sophie didn't like all the noise.  I sewed while they were working on the trailer.  They finished about 11:30.  We put the yard back together.   Then we ate lunch and Steve walked the dogs.  Then we went in search of a new park.  We checked out the two other Encore parks in the area.  There were not as high quality  as Fiesta Grande but cost more.  They didn' t have as many activities.   They didn't seem as well organized.  Things are changing here at Fiesta.   The thousand trails discount may disappear.  We made a stop at Safeway then home.
We decided to put the dog run up and Hazel was anxious to get out and enjoy the run.  Sophie did not want to come in.  Then we took our daily cart ride.  We ate leftovers for dinner.  The chicken and rice dish was better tonight.   The chicken was tough.  Better to use thighs I think.  Dishes and TV to finish off the night.

December 1, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

It is a new month! I got up early with help of the Alarm.  Got ready and we went out to Breakfast in Arizona City at the Iron Skillet.  It was pretty good.  We talked to a trucker while we ate breakfast.   Then we jumped in the car and drove down Jimmy Kerr Blvd to check out Eloy.  Back to house.  I did some more cutting out of potholders.   Why I am making so many I will  never know.  They make nice  breas and butter gifts.  I love matching the fabrics.
I got ready and took the rest of the laundry down to wash.  It took a little over 2 hours.  I guess the green machine was spotted by Larry while I was there, then heard by Betty as I passed by on the way home.  We are parked by a big new Momentum.
I started sewing as soon as i got back.  Steve took off on a motorcycle  ride to check out the Walmart in Coolidge.
When he came back we BBQ'ed chicken thighs.   We took the Teryx out and checked out the Christmas lights in the park.  I pulled some fabric out as i needed to recut some of  5" squares.    Then after putting away my clean clothes the dogs and I watched TV, ate ice cream and just chilled.
Tomorrow the rig gets washed and waxed.  Then we can start decorating .  Put out the dog pen which i know the dogs are looking forward to and i am looking forward to putting some things under the bed.

November 30, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

Well today was a very productive day .  The last day of November.  Normal morning routine.  Up at 7:45.  Breakfast then I prepared some of the laundry, pulled the sheets off the bed and started to put on new sheets.   I decided I needed to wash the bedspread.   Then I prepared dinner in the instapot/crockpot.  Then a quick ride in the Teryx.  Betty is at home with the crud.  Then down to the laundry.   The one closest was full so I went to the one up front which was almost empty.  I sat and read my book while the clothes were laundered.  Back to rig and Steve was carving so I sat down and ate lunch and finished my book.  Another winner for Balducci.   And it left wide open for another Atlee Pine book.  Finished making the bed and putting the clothes away.  The I was finally able to do some cutting.   At four we went for another ride with a stop at the dog park.
When we came back I decided to check on dinner .  I was using the instapot as a crockpot.  I opened it up and the potatoes and carrots were like rocks.  I turned it  up and added an hour.  At 6vi checked again.  Not much change.  I decided to put it under pressure for 10 minutes and saved the day.  Dinner was pretty good.
Dishes TV and shower after that.
Apparently Stephanie and Matt are splitting up.  He just moved in and now I guess he us looking for a new place to live.  Becky told her she needs to give it more time before they move in.  Too hard on the kids.  And I agree.  Sorry about Matt tho.  I really like him.  I think he had a lot of baggage not to mention PTSD.  of course  Stephanie can be a challenge.

November 29, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

Well when we went to bed the winged was blowing and making such a racket we had to pull in the bedroom slide.  There were lots of tree branches down around the park.  The streets were flooded when we got up and it was pouring rain.   We ate breakfast .  Betty wasn't feeling well so Steve and I set off for the quilters.   We stopped at the dog park and the girls in their raincoats  did their job.  Then off we went.   We stopped at dollar general but they didn't have much in the way of drinks.  We took the quilt to the quilters.  She has quite the studio.  Then a stop at Fry's for groceries.   What a wonderful store.  The guy who cheated us went out of business or moved to a different location.  I doubt that is the case as there was nothing directing people elsewhere.   Back to the rig to put away the groceries.   Steve got in a snit when I insisted we go get cash and get tickets for the tribute bands in the park.  We came back and I took the dogs for a run to the dog park.   Finally  it was time to sew.  I stopped at 4 :30 to walk the dogs.  Finalky back to the rig and fed the dogs.  We made chicken and rice in the instapot.   Not my favorite and we have enough left for another meal.  Yeah!.
Dishes and TV.
Apparently Stephanie and Matt are on the brink of breaking it off.  So sad.  I think maybe she is pushing too hard for a commitment.

November 28, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

Happy Thanksgiving!.  It was a good day. I got up at 8 :15 .  We had some cereal.  Larry and Betty picked us up at 10:15 on the dot.  We were at Cracker Barrel  just in time. It was packed.  We did a little shopping then they sat us at 2 tables of 6.  There were 12 in our party.  We had a decent meal but nothing I liked.  Then we went to Dorothy's at Sunscape which is about 19 miles out of town.  Steve was talking about switching out there fir next winter.  But we pointed out that there would be no carving club out there.  We meet two new couples out there one from Gila Bend one from Tuscon.  They had a "clam shell" tent like structure out there to protect us from the weather and wind.  They served dessert.   We left about 3.  Came back here and sewed for awhile. Then fixed breakfast for dinner. Finally TV.  About 9  Steve decided he would make us hot chocolate.   It was yummy. Fortunately it is made with splenda.

Well another busy day.  We got up and did chorse.  I started prepping my quilt to take it to the longarmer on Friday.  I got the leaders sewn on the edges.  Then we went and got our toes done.  Mine are very red and I love it. Then we got propane.  Steve got a hair cut and the lunch at Firehouse subs.  Picked up some meds at CVS.  Finally went home to walk the dogs.  I ironed the front and back of the quilt which took me quite awhile.  Betty came over with a bag of goodies from the retreat.   We talked for a while.  I finished up a few things then we ate dinner.  Leftover spaghetti which did not sit well with the master. Then off to Bingo where I won a Bingo.  A whole $18.00. Back home to for TV.

Janet and John were there.  We stopped by the Neon Park in old town.   Interesting.   Came home for TV and ice cream for the rest of the night.  We need to call direct TV.

November 25, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

Busy day today.  I got up at 8 and had breakfast.  Steve was chomping at the mouth to get the Teryx running.  We thought that we would have to put it on the charger for several hours but wonder of wonders it started right up.  I wonder if the guys were starting it up every once in a while.  Then after Steve took care of all his little chores we packed up the dogs and off we went.  We stopped at the office and registered and paid their pet fee of $200.00.  Ridiculous.   Then we went and got gas and of course gas for the Teryx.  Then over to Walmart for shopping.  Still a terrible Walmart.  Somethings never change.  We took a quick ride around the park hoping to catch up with Paul and Shirley Heebner.  We came home  and I put away the groceries and we ate lunch.  It looked like Steve was going to take a siesta so I went down and caught up with Betty.   I went thru a bunch of material that she was giving away.  We gossiped for an hour or so.  Then I came back to find Steve had taken all his stuff down from the loft but not mine.  He did set the table up.  I made arrangements to have my quilt taken to be quilted.  Friday at 10 am.  We took another cart ride and was able to hookup with the Heebner's.   The were just about to walk out the door.  Back to the rig with a stopover at the dog park.  The a bit more set up in the she shed then dinner and dishes.   Finally the dogs and I retired to the bedroom for TV.

November 24, 2019 Fiesta Grande RV Resort, Casa Grande AZ

We made it to AZ without a mishap.  Steve checked the leaf Springs and thought something was wrong but decided he was wron . I hope we make it to Indiana to get our independent suspension without having to replace the springs again.
I got up at 7:30 and we were ready to roll by 8:30.  We travelled about 300 miles.   Hiway 40 to 95 to 10 to 85 to 8.
We arrived just about 4.  They led us to our site.  Betty was sitting outside waiting for us and waved as we went by.  Darlene and Ben, Kevin and his wife, and we saw Susie and Rosie.  We got the Teryx out of storage  and parked it in our lot.  We will have to charge the battery to get it to run.  The tarp was totally off when we got here.  Then dinner and TV
We still have alot more to set up and lots of things to take care including paying for our stay.
It is good to be back.  Now I am torn between two places.  71 degrees and sunny.

November 23, 2019 Fenders RV Resort, Needles CA

We were up and out the door at 9am .  About an hour later than we planned.  We drove 414 miles taking highway 41 to 99 to 40.
We stopped in Tulare at the rest stop.  Then again for lunch in Boron at about 1:30.  We stopped in Bakersfield to gas up.  The plan was to get gas here and the again in AZ. Next time we will get gas in Barstow.   Unfortunately it was almost not enough .  We tried getting gas in Essex but they wanted $6.49a gallon and there was a line at the one working pump. So we decided that we would soldier on.  We followed the gos to Fenders where we were reserved.  Unfortunately the road was under construction and closed.  We stopped at a resort and cafe and I had to get out and help Steve turn around.  Of course it was pitch black outside.   We called  Fenders and got directions for the detour.  Of course we were sweating bullets as we watched the gas gauge fall. When we found Fenders we turned in the wrong driveway and had to back out onto the highway .  Once we arrived we tried pulling into the spot as they are pull thrust. The palms however way to close together so we ended up backing into the spot.  Now I remember why I don't like to arrive in the dark.  Once we did a fast hookup  then fed the dogs.  We got back in the truck to get gas and dinner. We were down to 10 Mike's to empty! We bought 3 gallons of as in Needles at 4.99 a gallon.  The took off to Bullhead City,  crossed the AZ border. We filled up at an Arco station about 3 miles  away for 2.99 a gallon.  Back to Needles for a wonderful Pizza dinner. Finally back to the rig for TV and games.
I forgot to mention that this will be our last stay at Fenders.  They failed to mention the road construction and detours when we made the reservations.   She did offer to comp our night's stay but Steve said no.  I guess you get what you pay for.
The tire minder gave us a couple of false reading which also set us on edge.

November 22, 2019 Park of the Sierras, Coarsegold CA

Well we are off tomorrow.   I got up about 7 ish.  Breakfast and chores.  Then we hung out around doing last minute packing killing time to see if Steve's glasses came in the mail.  Steve gathered up all the garbage and we took it and the recycling and dropped it off on the way to check the mail.  God forbid we have more tonight and tomorrow morning.
No luck finding the glasses in the mail.  So off we went to Fresno.  Steve dropped me off at the entrance to Kaiser in Fresno.   I went up to the optical department.   The girls up there were really on the ball.  After talking to me yesterday they retrieved Steve's glass from the mailroom and Steve was able to get his glasses as well.  Yay for Kaiser optical.
We grabbed lunch at a nearby Subway.   Then beat feet back to the park.   Steve dropped me at the dog park and headed to the poke barn to wash the truck.   The dogs did their thing and we walked back to the rig.  I took my shower.  We hung out for awhile then Steve dumped.   I watched a movie and finished my book.  We had dinner and dishes were washed.   TV for the rest of the night.

November 21, 2019 Park of the Sierras, Coarsegold CA

Well I took a break from weighing in  this morning.  It was a rather boring day.  I got up at 7 with the alarm clock.   I was scheduled to work in the mailroom.   I went down at 9:30 after chores .  Steve wanted a big breakfast this morning so I made sausage, eggs and he got potatoe patties.   There wasn't much mail si we were out of there pretty quick.  When I returned  we jumped in the cart and ended up at the dog park.  Back to the rig for lunch.  And of course more impeachment hearings.   I read off and on hoping to finish the newest Janet Evanovich books.  We took the dog pen down and packed it away.  Steve thinks he has a lot  left to do but really we are in good shape.  I put the finishing touches on the sewing room and all the sewing stuff including the machine.  Another cart ride then a movie.  Steve decided to take a motorcycle ride around 4 .  So I took the dogs for a'walk.  We had left over chili relleno casserole for dinner.  I did dishes.  Then back to the bedroom for a fun evening of TV.
I miss my sewing.   Fir whatever reason I am not real anxious to leave the park.  It is getting really  colder here. Especially at night.  I think I am getting tired of traveling.   I am ready to settle down in one place again.  But I will not mention these feelings to Steve.

November 20, 2019 Park of the Sierras, Coarsegold CA

Well we are very close to departure.   Generally it was a quiet day here.  It was a much cooler day than we have become accustomed to.
Steve left early for propane duty. I got up at 8.  Got dressed then breakfast as usual.  Too the dogs for a good walk.  When we got back Steve pulled up in the cart.  I made the bed and sorted the laundry.   By 10 I was hard at work at the sewing machine.  I finished the soup cozies. I met all the goals I wanted to finish before leaving for Arizona.
We made a yummy lunch.   Then we headed to the laundry.  I only had enough soap for three loads.  So I got the laundry started and came home for more soap.  Finished up by 3:30.  Came back did a cart ride.  Put clothes away.
We had an early  dinner of BBQ'ed steak which was wonderful.   Dishes and a long night of TV.
No more sewing until we get to AZ.   Then the retreat will start.

November 19, 2019 Park of the Sierras, Coarsegold CA

Well our time here draws near.  I got up about 8 since we were sleeping in this morning.   Steve was fooling around on the computer so l volunteered to take the dogs for a walk.  We took a large loop up and around the hill.  We did morning chores.  I started sewing while Steve did outside chores.  Steve cleaned out the shed and tried putting the cart in there. He worked on doing body work on the trailer  .  We loaded the loft with things we are taking to Arizona.   We took an early cart ride.  I sewed off and on.  I finished my two candy bags for the boys and started on finishing the soup cozies.  We too another cart ride to the dog park.  At 3:30 we left for Oakhurst.   We had dinner with 6bpark members.  We sat and gossiped for awhile then made our Tuesday Von's run.  Came home and unloaded the few groceries we bought and I headed for the she shed ti sew.  I am hoping to finish the cozies which will be my last project before we leave.  Laundry day tomorrow.   Finally able to enjoy TV in the bedroom.   Apparently the TV in the main cabin is on the way out.
We really like it here in the park. It will be a toss up weather we go back to AZ next winter.

I got up at 8 and had breakfast then walked the dogs.  By the time I got done with my morning chores he was back around 10.  Then we went to work putting the molding down.  We finished by 12:30.  The laminate is on the reddish side but at least that disgusting carpet is gone.
We put all the tools away then took a cart ride to say good bye to the McCords.  We ate a quick bite for lunch.
Then I finished quilting  my candy bags.   A quick dinner the I finished prepping the bags. Then TV and games.
The dogs spent most of the afternoon outside in the pen chewing on their bully sticks.

November 17, 2019 Park of the Sierras, Coarsegold CA

Well it is almost time for us to go to our winter home in Arizona.   I will be sad to leave this place.  I really like it here. We got up and did our chores then took off about quarter after 8 for our breakfasts with the McCords.  We ate at the Fairway Cafe air the Yosemite Lakes golf course.  It was a good breakfast.  Then we left for Harbir Freight in Clovis where Steve bought lot of good stuff.  Then over to Lowes.  We were able to get a free sample rather than having to buy a whole box just to get one piece of laminate.   On the way home we checked out Millerton Lake and Table Mountain Casino. We are finally getting familiar with the area.  Back to the rig with a stop over at the dog park.  Steve was playing with his new saw and I started sewing.  We took a break for the ice cream social because Steve only had a $100 bill so I paid for the ice cream.  Back at the house sewed for awhile then we kind of snacked for dinner.  Then more sewing for me and football for Steve.  Shower and TV for the rest of the night .
We took a break from the construction  today and will finish up tomorrow afternoon after propane duty.

November 16, 2019 Park of the Sierras, Coarsegold CA

Today Skye is 15 years old!. Wow that 15 years went fast.
I got up at 7.  I ate breakfast , got dressed and we went to work.  We pulled the old disgusting carpet out of the bedroom.  Pulled a million staples out of the floor the the under payment went down. Finally the floor boards went down.  Steve was so tired.   It was so hard for him to get up and down.  I was really getting worried.  The cut two pieces back to back wrong.  The same He took a nap and put the last few pieces in.  Of course we were short by a piece 3" × 18".
We cleaned up put tools away and did our cart ride.  Steve showered while I fixed dinner.  Then I went up on the bed.  Hazel had to br carried over the new floor.  It will take her some time to get used to it.

November 15, 2019 Park of the Sierras, Coarsegold CA

I slept in until 8 this morning.   Steve was already up.  We had breakfast and did chores.  I started sewing.  Steve left at 10 for site inspection training.   He came home about 11:30 and ate lunch.  Then we went on a long  cart ride with a stop at the dog park.  Back to the rig and I ate lunch.  More sewing for me and Steve did some preliminary work on the bedroom  floor.  I sewed or rather prepared the candy bags by ironing the vinyl on.  Took the dogs for a long walk stopping by Shumakers place to check out their rig they just got back from the repair place.  Then we settled down for a rest when Steve saw that Christine Mowles put a bunch of fabric in the Craft room for people to take what the wanted .. so Steve  and I jumped into the cart and went through the tubs.  Score.  It was mostly juvenile prints and cheap fabrics.   But after dinner of tacos I changed out some of the backs on the candy bags.  Cut out yet another potholder. I have some other material for 7 more potholders that I am really excited about.  But those will have to wait for awhile.   Then TV and games fir the rest of the night.

November 14, 2019 Park of the Sierras, Coarsegold CA

Well another fun day  at the farm.  Got up about 7. Jumped on the scale as usual.  215.4 which is about down half a pound but at least it is down.  Did breakfast and chores.  Somehow time slipped away and Steve left for his work on the Ghost squad. Marie came over to shave my neck .  We sat and chatted til Steve came back.  She left about 11:30 .  We grabbed some lunch the took off for Lowes to get the flooring for the bedroom.   We got back about 2:30.  Jumped in the cart and went visiting.   Guess who we ran into.  Yes Gary McCord up by 237.  We then went to the dog park.   Then down through. The 500's and past the McCords.  We stopped to chat for quite a while.   She sent us home with tons of coffee and spinach she got from a food bank.  Seems like we keep running into the McCord's in the park.  We went home and I worked in the back while Steve worked in the shed.  Then we BBQ'ed chicken and ate it.  I worked some more on sewing projects.  The finished the evening with the usual TV shows and games.

November 13, 2019 Park of the Sierras, Coarsegold CA

Well the night ended in a squabble.  I objected to have to be relegated to the bed.  It hurts his back.  What about mine! Anyway we had a silent rest of the night. Steve left early for the propane.   I got at 7:30.  Breakfast and then a walk with the dogs.  Then chores.   I put the printer under the bed.  Unpacked the Chewy Box and  found a spot for the left over ostomy supplies.   Then I got ready for my cart ride to Marie's. I had to figure how to lift the seat.  The off to Marie's only to find out she wasn't home.  I took some cardboard to the recycler by the clubhouse then back to the house. Dis some sewing. Steve came home and we lunched.  He left for the site committee training.  I continued to sew.  Steve came home and after he rested we went on our cart ride for the day. On our return I finished cutting the fabric  for the grandkids candy bags.  The I tried an instapot meal.  It turned out ok.  I would probably make it again.  Then dishes.  Ice cream and TV.

The dogs got a much needed bath and I was sopping gwwer as well.  Steve  carved and put the hitch back in the truck.  He is so happy to his tool chest and tools.  I sewed the rest of the afternoon.   At 3:30 we took off for Oakhurst for dinner at China Delight with the Park group.  Gary and Marie were there and we had a nice visit with them. The a quick stop at Von's for groceries.   Back to the rig.  Put the groceries  away.  Chewy order will be put away tomorrow.  TV for the remainder of the night.
I think I like staying in one place for longer periods of time.  Steve is happier here with jobs to do and places to be.

Well today was a great day with the family.  I got up around 7.  It was a long way from the room to the bathroom.  Steve was playing on the new computer when I got up.  About 8:30 we went to the California Kitchen in downtown Placerville.  We drove through town and discovered that my favorite shopping spot is gone.  Combellecks is going out of business.
Back home after a great breakfast.  When I got home I set my purse down on the patio chair to take the dog's coat off.  I came in the house and about 5 minutes later I found I  panicked because I could not find my purse. i checked the  car twice.  No purse.  Steve tried to call my phone.  Still nothing. I called  the restaurant but  just as they were telling me they didn't  have anything Steve found it on the chair. What a relief.  Then we got ready to go to the Birthday party. Left Nikki's about 11:30.  The party was crowded and it was great to see everyone. Then at three we went to the Spaghetti Factory at Nimbus winery for our holiday part .  It was fun and yummy. Left there about 5 and stopped on the way home to get gas.  Then we hung out at the house till bedtime.

November 7, 2919 Park of the Sierras, Coarsegold CA

Well I got up and weighed this morning  as is my routine for Thursdays.   I was very disheartened to see that I gained again.  I came in at 216.1.  This is really bad.
I got up at 7 had breakfast and jumped into making another batch of Praline crunch. Then morning chores.  Hung out for awhile.  Pissed Steve off when I told what I really thought about the bust he made if me.  Probably wounded his ego and hurt some feelings.  He nursed his feeling while doing some carvings.
We ate lunch and I prepared for doing laundry.   Steve had back to back meetings so I did laundry while he had meetings.   I was able to finish at the same time he finished his meetings.  Back to the house and grabbed the dogs for the daily cart ride and trip to the dog park.
We waited about an hour the went into the city--coarsegold for dinner at Bob's Frosty.   It was ok but I don't think we will go back any time soon.   Besides the place is up for sale.
Back home to dishes and teeth brushing for the dogs. TV for the rest of the night.

Well it was a busy day.  Steve was off early to do the propane.  He left me with no heat so I turned on thevfireplae.  They were out of propane at the pump station as well or I should say the were unable to fill all the tanks.
I had breakfast  then got dressed and walked the dogs.  Steve was home by 10:30.  Surprised me while I was tidying up.  I sewed for awhile and we had lunch.  Then a long ride around the park. Back for more sewing. I had a training in the mail room.   I was there til 3:30 .  I learned all about the mail and then some. Back home and more sewing and cutting.   Another ride around the park.   The dogs couldn't go to the dog park as it was occupied by the bird dogs.i walked them back from the top of the hill but they were more interested getting home and getting fed.  It was also getting pretty dark.  I finished up what I was working on.  Then dinner, dishes and time to relax.

November 3, 2019 Park of the Sierras, Coarsegold CA

Today was the fall equinox.  We got an extra hour in our day.  I was up at 7 but actually slept for 8.  Got up and  made a double batch of pumpkin spice cookies.  Steve said he doesn't particularly like spice cookies but he ate quite a few cookies.  I added nuts and it was like pumpkin cake cookies.  I was done by 10:30.  About 11 we took a cart ride with the dogs to the dog park.  Back to the rig and off to Coarsegold for milk and a chicken lunch from Coarsegold market.  Back to the rig to gobble up our lunch.  Finally  some time to sew and carve.  At 2:15 we headed down to the Clubhouse for ice cream social.  We started talking to John and Sharon Burk.  He is also a wood worker.  We were there until 4 pm.  Then  back  home and made my dinner casserole.   While that was in the oven I took the dogs for a short walk. Dinner TV shower and more TV.
Steve is getting more stubborn  about going back for a third year to Arizona. I hope we are still married  in March
I want to see how I feel about it when February comes along.

November 2, 2019 Park of the Sierras, Coarsegold CA

Not a lot to report today.  I got up at 8 again.  Breakfast then morning chores.  Then I sat down to sew and Steve spent the morning carving.  About 12:30 we took our daily tour of the park.  Hazel saw a squirrel and jumped out of the moving cart.  Fortunately no injury.  Just scared me.  We came back for lunch the more sewing and carving.  At 4:30 I took the dogs for an extended walk.  Then dinner, dishes and the usual TV  and games.
Sounds like a pretty dull rut we have gotten ourselves into.

November 1, 2019 Park of the Sierras, Coarsegold CA

Well it was a quiet day.  I got up at 8.  I got up at 7 and decided it was too dark to get up so I went back to bed for an hour.  Steve made chirso and eggs for breakfast.   I had eggs without the chirso.  Steve went out immediately and got to work taking the hitch out of the truck greasing it and raising it.  Then he put bands on the leaf Springs  and tightened the bolts.  After chores I  finished off 4 potholders holders.   Then I made 3 bags.    About 12:30 we took a cart ride to the Sullivans.  They are leaving for Pismo early tomorrow morning.   I had tummy problems while we were there.  We stopped off at the dog run.  Back to the rig.  More sewing.  We did our first attempt cooking in the instapot.   We did rib .  Then finished them off in the crock pot. We finished off dinner with hot chocolate.   After the dishes were done I headed up to the bedroom for TV and games.

October 31, 2019 Park of the Sierras, Coarsegold CA

Happy Halloween. Last day of October.   It was a sad day for me.  I got up and jumped on the scales expecting to see a huge loss after walking so much this week only to find out I gained 3.6.. I was back up to 215!.  There must be something wrong with the scale.  After that disappointing news I got dressed and ate breakfast.  Then walked the dogs.
I was still tired after all the work I did yesterday.   Steve worked this morning.   We hung out until it was time to go to lunch with the Sullivans.   We dined at the Wild Fig.  We sat outside.   It was a bit nippy since I didn't bring a sweater.  We got back about 1:30 then took the dogs to the dog park.  Then started prepping the casserole for the dinner at 4 pm.  We went down about 3:30 and got a seat.  We had pot luck which I hate because you end up with too much food.  I did manage to avoid the dessert table.  Steve managed to loose 13 pounds since we went to the doctor on the first of the month. And he still eats a lot.  Steve won the pumpkin carving contest .  A whole 10 dollars which he graciously let me keep.  Back home to clean up the dishes.  The the usual TV and games.

October 30, 2019 park of the Sierras, Coarsegold CA

Wow I worked hard all day long.  I haven't worked that hard in a long time. Steve left around 7 .  I got up and had breakfast.  Then the dogs and I went out for outmr walk and passed by Steve "working " at the propane place.  Then I got busy.  I pulled the sheets off the bed and sorted the laundry.  I made the cornbread bottom for the tamale pie.  Then the taco meat also for the tamale pie.  I put the new sheets on the bed.  Then I made spaghetti sauce for dinner.  Steve came back from after noon.  We ate leftover pizza for lunch.  Then off to the grocery  store in Oakhurst.  Bought a cartful of groceries.   Brought them into the house and put them away.  Then we loaded up the cart with the laundry and I headed over there.  It was a very busy place since the electricity  went out. Once I had them in the washer I drove back to the house.   Gary and Marie McCord stopped by to say hi.  Then back to the laundromat to put the clothes in the dryer. Back to the rig to walk the dogs.  Then back to the the laundromat to fold all the clothes.   Back to the rig.  Once I got to the rig I thought I left my quarters at the laundry.  Back to the rig.  Steve had the quarters.  Fixed dinner and out my clothes away.  The collapsed on the bed with TV and games.

We have power!  Life is good.  It is amazing how much of your life runs on and is dependent on electricity.
Steve got up early and walked up to the pole barn to do maintenance.   I got yo about 7:30 had breakfast dressed and took the dogs for a walk.  Then I decided to start cutting out yes more potholders.   They make nice bread and butter gifts.

Well we are back on generator power again.  PG&E decided tovto their cutting off the power about 2 pm.  I was right in the middle of sewing.
We got up on the early side.  I made Steve sausage and eggs for breakfast.  Did morning  chores and cleaned up.  I started sewing and Steve was busy cleaning out the shower trap, washing windows and puttering around.   Don't know what's gotten to the guy.  Then we had visitors.  Sally and Dan  Sullivan  came by with some friends of theirs.  Then Larry Kroeger came by to bring his friend Chuck by to see the rig.  After they left I made lunch.  I walked the dogs and chatted with Linda Shumaker and Sherree next door.   Then more sewing and carving till we were stopped because we had no power.  We took off for ice cream social and dropped the sign off at Bradley's  then we headed over to the club house for the social only to find out it was cancelled--no power.  Back to the house for our own private ice cream social. Steve and I took a long walk and saw Devra and Steve and chatted with Elaine Evans.  I did some cutting  and Steve carved.  We BBQ'ed some delicious meat for dinner.  Dishes and T V powered  by the generator.

October 26, 2019 Park of the Sierras, Coarsegold CA

I must say I feel right at home here in the park. It is nice to settle into one place for awhile. The neighbors are friendly. We have room to spread out.  Steve can spread his stuff out outside and in his shop. I  got up at 7 ate breakfast and dressed. At 8 Steve dropped me off at the dog park.  Steve went down to help put all the stuff back in the clubhouse .  I took the dogs for a long walk down to the 500's and back up the hill.  Sat down and cooled off then finished making the bed.  Then started sewing.  Steve carved for the rest of the morning and worked in refinishing Bradley's sign.
About noon we jumped in the car and went to Coarsegold to see the tarantula Festival.   We left after half an hour.  We went to Yosemite Lakes to go to Hillside Market.   We ate at the deli.  The sandwiches were cold, un cut, and bready.  The shakes we not very chocolate.   Their groceries were extremely high priced.
Back to the rig.  More sewing.   A cart ride around the park dinner dishes and TV.

I did some sewing and Steve did some choes around the house.  We did spend a lot of time in the cart and stopping and visiting the park people.  We tried on the cart cover.   And then we took it off and refolded it according to instructions.   We stopped by Bradley's and picked up a sign that they want refinished.
We finished the day with me in the Bedroom watching TV and Steve down below watching his programs.

October 24, 2019 Park of the Sierras, Coarsegold CA

Well today was more back to normal.  I jumped on the scale as usual and this time it was good news  I was down to 211.3.  The walking must be helping.  We got up and has breakfast and did our chores.  We were waiting for the arrival of our new to us golf cart.  While we were waiting Steve did lots of chores around the yard including fixing our front porch light.  About 11:30 we got a text that Antonio was about 10 minutes out.  So we jumped in the truck and waited for him just outside the gates. He came and delivered it I drove it back to the house.  We grabbed the dogs and drove around the park and stopped at the dog park.  Then back to the house for lunch.   At 1:30 we took the dogs to the Vet in Coarsegold.  We got meds for them.  We should be good until we get back in April.  Back to the rig for more sewing and carving.  About 4:30 I took the dogs for a walk.  I wish I had gone in the morning when it was cooler.  Then BBQ chicken for dinner, dishes and then TV and games.

October 23, 2019 Park of the Sierras, Coarsegold CA

This day did not go as planned. First off it was a very sad day as Kim Ishmael son who was a deputy sheriff was killed in the line of duty.  What do you say to someone.  Nothing you can say will help.  The good news is that it was Stephanie's  35th  birthday.   Steve got up early and left for the pole barn.  I got up at 7:30ish. Hang breakfast and made the bed.  The dogs were anxious to take their walk we walk for about half an hour by then Steve returned from the propane job.  Were sat here and relaxed for awhile.  We decided we should run to Oakhurst to withdraw the last $1,000.00.  We decided as we were pulling into the atm  that we would grab an early lunch at Pete's Place.   We went to the ATM and it turned out that Steve's card was damaged and he was able to resue it from the atm machine.
We called sac credit union and found that even if we went to Madera they  are not in the branch co op.  So they only was to get cash would be to open up an account and have money wired to the account.  So we walked over to Wells Fargo.   They are a small branch so you had to make an appointment.   So we decided to go over to B of A.  We opened a checking, Savings and put money in a CD.  We were in there almost 2 and a half hours dotting eyes and crossing tees.  We were able to do a debit card funding  to the checking account and we walked out with the $1,000.00 cash we needed to fund the cart..  Finally  we got to Pete's Place.  So ended up having an early dinner.  We got rather lost as Steve road 426 thinking he could get back to 41.  We missed the turn.  We were in the outback of Oakhurst.   We came to a bridge that we could not go on.  We took the bypass but were stopped by the creek.   Steve did a 7 point turn taking us back to 41.  Back at the park I took the dogs to the dog park
My intention  was to sew after my walk. That didn't  happen.  I did some sewing prep  before I came up to watch TV.  Steve ordered some stuff for the cart and ended up ordering 2 cart covers.  I ended up having to call Amazon and cancelling  one.  He definitely needs more practice ordering.

October 22, 2019 Park of the Sierras, Coarsegold CA

Quite an eventful day.  We got up early and ate breakfast.  Did chores.  Steve told me he changed his mind about getting the golf cart.  And he told we could still go look at them but if we did get one it would be the cheapest one.  After food and chores we hopped in the car and drove over an hour and a half to see the carts.  The older cheaper one definitely looked older.  We ended up  getting the newer more expensive one.  One problem how to get 3k in cash.  We called Nikki but no answer.   We drove home through Mariposa.  When we got back to Oakhurst we  stopped at Golden One but Steve got no real answers.   Back at the rig Steve was able to call Sac Credit Union and increase his ATM  limit. We did several chores including installing our inner park phone.    After feeding the dogs we jumped in the car and drained the ATM but it quit after 2k.  We are still  1k short. So we will have to get more tomorrow.   We were on the way to the dinner club meeting at Casa Velasco in Bass Lake. Nice dinner mediocre food.  Then back to Oakhurst to attempt another run at the ATM. Then shopping with Steve fun fun at Von's.   Back to the rig for ice cream and TV.  I want to get back to having romance back in our lives.  I don't  understand why I can't have any cash. Steve is a fucking control  freak.   Just  a not to say I really love it here.  Nice people and beautiful park.

October 21, 2019 Park of the Sierras, Coarsegold CA

Well it has been a really long day.  We were up and hooked up and leaving for Fresno and Central RV Repair by 8:20.  In order to do that we were up at 6:30.  Once we dropped off the trailer we went over to RV Country which is huge RV dealer in the Fresno area.  Steve went in to order some parts while I tried unsuccessfully to get Hazel to poop. There were a million gnats flying around which was very annoying.   Then we went back towards the park and the other end of Fresno and went to Lowes.  I got a large garbage can which I wanted so that we don't have a bag of garbage sitting in the kitchen  every night.  Once we finished we decided to check out a couple of cart places. One was closed the other was way out of our price range.  Then back to a really great Walmart which we will have to visit again at the corner of  Shaw and Brawley.  Their shelves were actually stocked.  Then lunch at my least favorite place Taco Bell.  Then we went to Logan Park and Hazel finally pooped.  It was kind of a seedy place .  Someone was sleeping on the sidewalk.  I was worried that we would be in the middle of a gang  event. About 2:30 we went and got the trailer.   Everything seems to be working ok.  No dimming  so far. Once we got home we got everything set up and put away.  Then dinner and as usual TV and games to finish the day.

October 20, 2019 Park of the Sierras, Coarsegold CA

Another very busy day.  Steve is really loving it here.  He just loves having his shed here.  Were got up early so we could attend the get away breakfast.  It was delicious.  Pancakes, sausage eggs and fruit.  We took the dogs to the dog park before breakfas .  Came home to sew and watch football til it was time for the ice cream social.  We walked down and back.  More sewing and picking up the back as we take the rig to Fresno tomorrow.   About 5 Steve realized that we were totally  out of propane.   So instead o taking my walk we drove into Coarsegold to get propane so the we would be able to keep the refrigerator running while we were in Fresno.  Then BBQ  brats for dinner.  Dishes and Then TV in the bedroom.
We also started looking for a golf cart as we really need one here in the park.

October 19, 2019 Park of the Sierras, Coarsegold CA

We both got up late but we were all up by 8 am.  I had breakfast and Steve took the dogs.  He came home and fixed  himself biscuits and gravy.   Warmed up that ism. And he did the dishes.  I did the morning chores.   Then I hit the sewing machine.  About noon i fixed tuna salad and crackers.   About quarter to one we walked down to the clubhouse so Steve could help out out tables and chairs for the dinner tonight.   I took the dogs to the dog  park then took my 20 minute walk .  We got back to the rig about the same time.  Then i finally finished step 3 in assembling  the potholders.  Sat outside for awhile then walked down to the Clubhouse for dinner.  We sat near the door and was able to greet everyone as they came in.  We sat with the knott's and the Herds 217 and some guests  who were staying in 248.  Then we were thinking of buying a used golf cart to get around the park.   We found one but it always gone.  We walked back to the park and  I went up the bedroom for the usual TV and games.
I think we are going to be happy here.  Steve is enjoying his shed and tools.

October 17, 2017 Park of the Sierras, Coarsegold CA

Another busy wonderful day at Park Sierra.  It started early with a continental breakfast at the Clubhouse prior to the annual meeting.   We were forced to get up rather  early, 7 for me.  I jumped on the scale as is normal for Thursdays .  Unfortunately it was not good news.  214 even after more walking and trying to be more careful.   We were at the meeting til noon and they served subs for lunch. It was good to see all our friends again and have a chance to speak with them.  Then we walked home.  Then I drug out all my sewing stuff.  Finally  We decided now was the time to drag out all the stuff in storage and fron the loft storage.  We finished up about 5 and decided to take the dogs to the dog park and run into Oakhurst fir a Chinese dinner.  Back by 7 .  Sewed for awhile then into the bedroom to nurse a sore back and watch TV.

October 16, 2019 Park of the Sierras, Coarsegold CA

Another very busy day.  For some reason Steve is fine ine minute and snarky the next.  Guess it will come out sooner or later.  Guess we will be taking the rig to Central Valley Repair.  The dimming problem still persists.
I got up at 7 thinking that we needed to get started right away in the laundry room.
I made Steve biscuits and gravy eggs and bacon.  He went out and unloaded the back of the trailer and the back of the truck.  We found out that that MORryde will put on the new independent suspension on Hune 1 and 2 of 2020.  Then I did morning chores plus dishes and mopped the back floor.  Then off to the laundry. Two hours and laundry was all done.  While I was gone Steve set up a beautiful dog run.  We ate a late lunch then decided to go to Oakhurst to have something notarized.   A stop at Von's for some shopping  and back to the rig.  Still organizing everything. I put dinner in the oven and decided to walk the dog down to the dog park.  They ran around for awhile.  Then I took the long way around to get back so I could get a'walk of some kind in.  Steve is not doing the walking that he is supposed to.    Finally put the sewing table down.   We sat outside till the bugs drove us inside.  Then TV and games as usual.

October 14, 2019 Delta Shores RV Park, Iselton CA

Tomorrow hopefully we head out to our California home basrme in Coarsegold.  I got up about 8.  Steve made arrangements to have someone look at the trailer on Monday.  Hopefully the beeping won't drive us crazy while we wait for the appointment.   Then I reminded Stevecwe were breakfasting at Huckleberries in Fairfield.  It was packed as a lot of people were off due to this being Columbus Day  weekend. It was outstanding  food.  Then we got in the car and drove to Camping World in Vacaville.  Finally we headed home . We got back about 2.  Steve watched TV while I finished  cutting out soup cozies and potholders.   After that TV then dinner of cheese quesadillas.   Then more TV and games.
Last night at 10:30 the trailer started rocking.  There was an earthquake in the Walnut Creek area.   Kind of exciting.

October 13, 2019 Delta Shores RV Park, Iselton CA

Well one more say and we should be back in Coarsegold.   Still having a problem with dimming lights and beeping refrigerator.   We thought the problem was the surge protector at one point but no not it.
We were up early to get ready to leave for Elijah's birthday party.  I guess there was a sleep over last night which ended with the party today.  We kedt here around 9.  We made a stop at Walmart to pick up cards. When we arrived bedlam reigned.  James was there with Rosie and Arthur 's son Dillon.  Soon thereafter Melinda and Kayla and the baby arrived.  James gave me a hug which is amazing.  Nikki came in carrying 10 pizza boxes from Little Caesar's.  We ate sang happy Birthday  and pretty much left.  Drove back to the Delta after stopping at Raley's.   Back at the rig we messed with the electric,  watched football, I did some cutting, Steve carved some and finally it was time for dinner which consisted of fried egg sandwiches.  After dinner it was TV and games.

Finally  TV  and games.  Glenda disappeared again today.

October 11, 2019 Delta Shores RV Park, Isleton CA

Well we finally left Ponderosa.  Its official we are now homeless.  The loan got funded late last night because first thing this morning Steve told me that the wire was received at our bank.  We are still owed money from quicken the funds that were in our impound account.  So it is a done deal.  No more utilities, we are done with the house.
I got up at 7:30.  We had breakfast  and did chores.   We were slated to leave at nine but it was 9:45 before we rolled out.  Alice and Randy came to say goodbye as they were heading out to pick up the Grankids.  We went over to say good bye to Dave and Kathy loaded the motorcycle and we were off.   We had to stop at the flying J  to dump as without power the dump station was not working.  Apparently it was full and the pumps that clear it out are run on electricity.
We arrived here about one only to find out that they had power but water was only being turned on three times a day to fill your tanks. I spent most of the afternoon  finising a book  that was going back to the Library  soon.  We took a drive around the delta.   When we got back they told us they found the leak and full water service was restored.   We cleaned out the refrigerator of leftovers for dinner followed by ice cream.  Then TV and games in the bedroom. For the rest of the evening.

October 10, 2019 Ponderosa RV Resort, Lotus CA

I think I forgot to mention that we have been without power for two days because PGE in their infinite wisdom decided that they had to shut off the power due to high winds and fire danger.  Mind you the high winds have never materialized in the area.
The day started early for who got up only to find that the dead battery we had yesterday was still dead this morning.   After fiddling with it he told me to stay in bed while he ran into town to get a new battery. He had to run and get cash as the credit cards were down as no power.  Back to the rig to install the battery. After laying in bed awhile got up and jumped on the scale weighing in at an even 211.  Which is down from last week but not by much.  When Steve got the rig back to working I fixed him a breakfast of egg and bacon burrito.   We decided to go back into town  as we had several errands to run. We started at Patrick's where we dropped off the printer so he could hook it up to the  computer when it come which is supposed to to be next week. Next we tried to check out Chad's shop in Cameron Park but we failed to find it.  The we stopped at the Shell in Cameron Park  to see if it would be possible to dump the gray and black water tanks if  power isn't restored here.  From there we went to the house to pick up a few things.  The kids were still out of school.  Then we stopped at idle wheels got propane.  Lunch at Mr. Pickles.. very good.  We got diesel and gas at Safeway.  Finally we stopped at Safeway.
We made it back by 3:30 . I unloaded the groceries  and put them away.  I made a salad for dinner with the neighbors. We stayed and chatted with them till about 7.  After that  TV and sewing for me.

October 9, 2019 Ponderosa RV Resort, Lotus CA

Another long day.  We were rolling out at 8:30 as planned.  Breakfasted and chores done.  Dropped the motorcycle off in Cameron Park.  The back to the yellow house as planned.  Due to the power turnoff the Girls were home from school to keep company with the dogs.  Lindy and Bill picked up us at 9:30.  We drove out to the airport area to take our Amazon tour at 10:45.  It was mind boggling the way they moved the items from place to place.  The robots are giant shelving units on rumba like "robots".  They place items on them at random then store them then pick.  Next is packing and finally shipping.  This distribution center is a sorting plant carrying items that can fit in the yellow cartons.  The havec4 million unique items in the warehouse. There are 16 thousand pods.  The tour lasted an hour .  Then we jumped in the car to go to lunch at Cracker barrel.   The waitress brought our lunch out on a tray .  She was jostled and all the food and plates crashed to the floor.  There was broken dishes and food everywhere  also they had to redo our lunch.  We ate the food.  Once the area was cleaned up the busboy came out to collect stuff from surrounding tables. Once his tub was full he dropped that in almost the same spot as the waitress dropped our lunch.
We drove back home to the yellow house.   Picked up the dogs and the truck and went to get a new battery.  Found out we need to have the old dead battery with us.  Went to get the motorcycle.  Then drove back separately to the rig where the electricity was still out.
Spent most of the rest of the evening off and on with our new friends two doors down.  At 8 we returned  for TV, sewing and games.
