July 16, 2020 O'Sullivan's Sportsmen Resort, Othello WA

Another hot day.  Steve gave me the option of doing a drive or laundry.  Guess which one I picked.   We left here at 9 ish.  We headed over to Moses Lake the Soap Lake.  We drove thru Coulee City which the Covid had turned into  Ghosy town. The whole town was deserted.   On to Electric City.  Same thing.  We were looking for some lunch.  Same thing for Grand Coulee.  We checked out the Dam and we had to cross the bridge to find  a grocery store for take out chicken.  We took it to the park below the Dam's visitor center.  When we took out lunch we realized we had no silverware to eat the sides with.  Steve scooped out the mash potatoes and gravy with his chicken.   Where there's a will there's a way.  After lunch we headed back and took alot of side roads.  We checked out several state parks  Sun Lakes and Shipwreck .  We looked at Sunlakes and Smokiam resorts.  We got back about 4.  Then for dinner we BBQ'ed pork steaks ones we got at Grant's Pass they were delicious. I fixed left over potatoes.  I was trying them in the electric skillet.  Somehow I flipped the skillet and they all went on the floor. I called 5 second rule and put them back in the pan and continued cooking them.  Steve liked them. We had dessert outside.  One thing is for sure we saw some beautiful country.   Much better than when we were here about 3cyears ago when it was so smokey.
