October 10, 2018 SKP Park Sierra, Coarsegold CA

Another beautiful day in Park Sierra.  We were up an out the door around 9.  Our first stop was the pole barn. Steve did some schmoozing.   Met our neighbor Steve who is Sherry's husband 2 doors down.  We later learned that they and their dogs only eat natural foods.  Then we went and got gas at the Chukcanci Travel center.   Steve realized that he left his wallet at home for at least the third time. So we doubled back to the rig to pick up his wallet.  The we were off again to Oakhurst to get an estimate on the truck at Body by Boyd's.  We had a hard time finding it but once we did it didn't take long to get it done.

I did some shopping at Raley's.  That is where I will shop when we are here.  It is by far the better market with much more variety and the at least keep their shelves stocked.

Steve then went to the True Value store for a take and a scoop shovel.

We decided to have lunch at the wild pig in Coarsegold.   We thought it was most likely a BBQ place.  It turned out to be the Wild Fig so we went across the way to Robert's Frosty.  I had a BLAT.  I thought it was pretty good. We found out that the Farmers market is held at the True Value on Thursdays in Oakhurst.

Then back to the rig.  I decided to bake cookies.  White chocolate Macadamia cookies.

I walked the dogs and I stopped to chat with John and Barbara Ely.

We had left over tri-tip which Steve warned up on the BBQ.  I Didn't really care for it. Kind of dry.  It wasn't a very good cut of meat to start with.  We had sheila's applesauce and it was outstanding.
The we sat out by the fireplace for quite awhile.
