October 6, 2018 Ponderosa RV Resort, Lotus CA

We did a hard day of labor.  After breakfast and chores we headed over to the yellow house.  Steve and I moved the Terex and the trailer to the RV pad then took the Terex up to the front to change the oil.
We let Bella out to run.  Hazel growled at her and Sophie ignored her for the most part.  I can hardly bear to see that dog.  She lives in a cell that is filthy.  It is a crime that she spends hours and hours in that 6 ft kennel.
Meanwhile back at the laundry room I folded two loads of Nikki's clothes and washed and dried three of my and folded all of those.
While Steve was working on the Terex I grabbed the loppers and started lopping.  In the front yard.  I cut off suckers and pulled some tall weeds.  Anyway I completely  filled the green yard waste container.
I know now why I  I like to be on the road.  The yard work.   Just as I thought I was finished Steve wanted me to do some more.
We then put the Terex back on the trailer, finished up the laundry and loaded up the truck and headed over to Safeway to top the gas tank and head back to the rig.
Steve took a shower and in his effort to lose weight in the two weeks before the doctors appointment and metabolize all the sugar he eats decided we would climb the hill and walk to Gorilla Rock taco right outside the park.  We each had 3 gorilla tacos.   They were very good .  They were like Glenda's flour tortillas not heated.  They had lots of filling including rice.  Very good.
Walked back to the rig and walked the dogs. Then settled in for T V and winding down for bed.
I finished my book. A Jessie Black number 2 in the series. Not one of my favorites.  Some things were a real stretch.
Tomorrow we head for Coarsegold to see our spot and decide which one we like better .  Hopefully we can get satelite in one of the spaces or it is going to be a long two weeks.
When we gave the kids our fall schedule we were told the dates for Jim's court date was the 6th instead of the 16th. So we made reservations at Plymouth which I was really looking forward to but was going to cost us $200. Now she is saying the date is indeed the 16th.  Now we have to see if we can cancel the reservation  and get our money back. What an ordeal.  At least I think there is time to cancel the reservation.
