We had a relaxing day after having a stressful day yesterday trying to navigate the roads in Asheville. It rained pretty hard last night. We were up by 8. I jumped on the scale first thing and was please to see the 208.1 finally down. Now to keep the movement downward. Breakfast and lounged around the house until 11:30 or so then loaded up the troops and went and got dog food way on the other side of Sieverville. Then we took the scenic route to Gatlinburg about 10 miles out. We ate a late lunch at Three Jimmy's Good Time eatery. We sat in the patio so the dogs could join us. They were too noisy to stay the whole time so we put them back in the car before we ate. It was actually pretty chilly on the patio.
Then we headed back to Pigeon Forge for dessert. We drove through downtown Gatlinburg which had a million people milling about. About a half a Mile of shops and attractions. Much more crowded than Pigeon Forge. No wonder the trolley runs back and forth. We chowed down at the Chocolate monkey with ice cream and fudge samples. We brought home a half pound of three different fudges a chocolate pecan bear claw and a piece of bear poop..Death by chocolate.
Finally we stopped at the dollar general to see if we could get some drinks.
We arrive back at the rig about 4:15 and pack away the motorcycle. No dinner needed tonight. Getting ready to go watch TV. We have very little to out away since we didn't drape a lot out for this stay. Tomorrow we move to the Natches Trace area. Hopefully I will get to sew there.
