June 17, 2019 Natchez Trace Campground, Hohenwald TN

We had a very busy day .  We were both up early at 7.  Our plan today was to visit the Parkway between the Meriwether Death Site and The visitor  center near Tupelo.  Thirty Mike's south Steve decided to get gas in Collingwood.  Back on the Trace we stopped at the Colbert Stand (site of an Inn ) along the way.  At another stop the tire minder went off.  Steve tried to put more air into the tire with our compressor.  The air pressure was down to 26.  Steve got it up to 36.  I found the closest tire store to the Trace.  It was 25 Miles away.  So with a wing and a prayer we followed the GPS to Iuka.  We had only 14vlbs of pressure in the front driver's tire.  They took us right away and we were on our way in 20 minutes. The culprit  was  a  broken valve.  Tightened the valve. I told Steve the pressure was only at 66.  We stopped along the way for lunch.  Then a stop at the Visitor center.   We turned around and headed back up the Trace.  We decided to take a side trip to check out an Army Corps of Engineering park at Bay Springs Lake.  We really liked it and may come back some day and check it out.  Also some of their other parks might work out as well.  While we were looking at the park the tire minder went off.  We decided to take another side trip back to the tire store in Iuka.  They tightened the valve and added some air and we were on our way again.  We made our way back to the trace.  We went through several torrential downpours.
Back at the house we ate leftover breakfast for dinner.  I did dishes before retiring to the bedroom for TV and games.
