June 9, 2019 Eagle's Nest RV Resort, Pigeon Forge TN

Due to poor internet connections and cell service I could not reach my blog spot. Therefore I was forced into using the old fashion method of paper and pen.  I will later transcribe it into my blog.  So it is later and I an entering it now.
We are far too dependent on cell, wifi and satelite service.  I was worried about whether we would get satelite reception so I could watch the Good Witch.  How ridiculous is that.
We got up 7 and got ready which didn't take us long as we were hooked up to the trailer already.  Sophie was up to her old antics last night.  I wish I could figure out what is bugging her in the middle of the night so that I could comfort her and not have thoughts of doing bodily harm to her or locking her in the garage with the door closed.  We said out goodbyes to Charles and Jen who may hire us for as work camper next year.
So it was shortly after 9 when we pulled out.  We drove 214 miles down highway 81 and 441.  We arrived about 2.  Pigeon Forge is somewhat like Branson .  Way too commercial for us.  We made 2 stops and drove through quite a few rain storms.   We got set.up. we had to pull way forward in to get satelite reception so the hookup cords were way longer.  There were lots of bugs in the air and it was very humid. Took the dogs to the dog park which turned out to be a fenced grass area where they had to remain on the leash.  It was not a secured area.
Came back and relaxed for awhile then decided to get a bite to eat at Cracker Barrel. We wanted some of their southern fried chicken. It was more than we could eat so we brought some home.
As soon as we got home and settled the sky opened up and we had a torrential downpour.   There are still lots of puddles everywhere. It was a fully washer.
We have been struggling all night with poor internet connection.  I am only 60 bpoints short of getting my weekly badge!
