May 2, 2019 Rainbow's End RV Park, Livingston TX

Wow Steve slept in until 8:30 this morning. I actually woke up before him and played some games on my phone.  I forced myself to get on the scales.  It was 204.5 which was down about a half a pound.  At least it was down and not up.     About 5 it started storming and of course the dogs did not like that.  Once we got up and had breakfast I tidied up around the house .
At 9:30 we went to the lobby of the Escapees Headquarters.   We got to see a movie about the history of the club and the a detailed tour of the mailroom   They have their own zip code 77399.  It was very enlightening and interesting. Then   I sewed some while Steve put air in the tire and washed the truck and part of the rig.  About 2 Kathy Keen Mancuso Steve's friend from junior high and high school came to visit us with her husband.  I really liked Joe but Kathy is a force to be reckoned with. A fiery red head tho I doubt it is natural.   She shared with us stories about the hurricane Harvey where the lost everything.   So very sad.  She was able to save the birds and dogs.  She has 6 large birds and 3 dogs.  We decided to go to the  Catfish King which was a huge mistake.  The chairs were very worn and the food was mediocre at best.  We chatted for a couple of hours in the restaurant.  She shared yearbook pictures and pictures on the computers.   Joe and I chatted for awhile about our travels.   Joe paid for our lunch.
We were back at the rig by 6.  We took the dogs to the dog park and spent about half an hour.  About 8:30 it thundered and lightnings which tapered off .  TV and games for the rest of the evening.
