May 9, 2019 Hidden Hollow RV Park, Cottonwood AL

Our second day of travel started out with a bang.  Steve went to bed at 9:30 so he must have been up at the crack of dawn.  Anyway he was rearing to go when I got up at 7AM. I wasn't going to weigh but what the hell.  I weighed 204.4 down a tenth of a pound!  Last week was a bad week.  Pancakes twice, waffles and 3 ice creams!
We were out the door at 8 and on the road.  We drove about 300 miles through Mobile Alabama then Florida near Pensacola then back to Hidden Hollow RV.  We ate lunch at the Florida Welcome center.
We pulled into the campsite about 1:30 after we wandered around aimlessly in the parking lot of a huge entertainment complex with a huge stage and ampitheater and Bingo parlor.  The GPS took us on a merry trip.  As soon as we got set up the skies opened up and we had a torrential downpour.   The dogs were forced to potty in the rain
Sophie required a second trip out.  Once we took care of that I came in the house and we both took a much needed nap.
Instead of having frozen chimichangas we decided to go to Dothan for Chinese.
We had dinner and two leftover lunches for twenty dollars.  We came back and I retired to the bedroom for TV and games.  Glenda is back on line.  We will see how the next few days go.
