We got the rig fixed! I know Steve feels better. He is much easier to live with. We got to the repair place on time and even 5 minutes early . We got up way early. Steve was moving around at 6:30 and I am sure that he was up earlier. I was up at 7 and ready to go at 7:30. So we were able to to st around and twiddle our thumbs for an hour and a half. As I said we were there 5 minutes early. We dropped the trailer and were off to have breakfast at the Courthouse Whistle stop. Breakfast was outstanding in Texas standards. The we browsed the wonderful gift shop with very wonderful prices for a small town gift shop. Then we drove to Onalaska and back. We gassed up the truck and just when we were headed over to the quilt store the mechanic called to say the truck was ready.
We went there to pick up the truck and after leaving the mechanic with $900 more dollars we hooked up and went back to the park. That meant that we wouldn't be going at all because we decided not to unhook the trailer. To his credit Steve did offer to unhook but that was too much work both today and in the morning When we are preparing to go get weighed. Plus the sky looked like it was getting ready to dump. So we spent the afternoon watching TV And coloring. It thundered and lightning all afternoon off and on. A simple dinner and that was it. I keep forgetting to mention that we were snubbed for the first time. The people in the other momentum never came over as they promised they would. Billed and Bonnie Bassett.
