Kind of worried about Steve. We are about 1000 feet lower than Creede but he sounds somewhat worse for the wear. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. We may leave blue Mesa earlier than planned.
We got up earlier but took our time breaking down. Then her went to the Craft Fair at the Park. It was ok but nothing to write home about. Picked up a couple of Christmas ornaments. Back to the pack up and leave. We unplugged the water and electric, hooked up to the truck and loaded the motorcycle.. we were on the road by 10 am. We took the long road through Saguache and out to 50 on Hwy 114. About 150 miles. We got here about 1:30
As we were coming through the pass we saw several lightning strikes. It was overcast. As were setting up it started to rain. Just a short shower. We took the rig off the trailer. One stabilizer was only half on one block. So we decided to put it back on the truck and adjusted the block so that the stabilizer was completely on the block.
Once the trailer was set up and some of the inside stuff I watched a movie. Then fixed dinner and we ate. Then we sat outside . In the oven versus the air conditioner the oven won.
Mr. Grump sat outside after I came in. I decided to come in as he wasn't speaking to me. So why be there. He just came in. He decided to put up the cell booster up. Then he proceeded to give me dirty looks since I wasn't helping but then again he didn't ask. Also I don't see him helping in the kitchen with dish washing. I decided tha if he can sit there and watch me cook and clean up he can just do that by himself.
We have no service here so no cell phones or internet. Putting up the cell booster did not do much. Will have to make trips to town to get service at some point. At least we have food satellite reception.
Anyway I am back to writing my daily journal in long hand until I can transcribe it.
The sites here are very narrow. We are up in the back section this time and have only 30 amp. The air conditioner in the main cabin is not getting things very cold. Will have to it recharged or replaced.
