July 5, 2019 Camp Cupcake, Superior IA

Today would have been my 44th anniversary with Ed if we had stayed married. We got up early and jumped in the car with Paul and Shirley and met Diane Stubbe at Family Diner.  It was packed as usual and the food was fantastic.   It rained while we chatted then let up while we travelled back.
I sewed for awhile then went out and chatted with the group.   Steve decided he needed a nap.  We turned on the generator so we could run the iron and the air conditioner.   Then they decided to try and Jerry rig 50 amp service which didn't work.  So we were back to 30 amp service.
Thet tried to fix the truck which looks better than it did.  Not nearly perfect but good enough.
Then more chit chat until it was time to eat dinner.  We had some wonderful brats.  More chit chat and it was finally time to go inside.  We have had fun here but it is way past time to leave.
TV and bed.  Ready for our last day here.
